Small but solid food truck pod: Thailandia, Big Ski’s Pierogi, Tin Pig, Ma’ama Jamas. Austin Street Tacos too but they weren’t open. Drawing a comparison to The Lot, this pod is smaller but offers a somewhat better food selection, especially with the Market of Choice right next door. The ambiance here is more outdoorsy, like eating and drinking at a county fair versus at a restaurant patio. There’s also the larger On Tap pod on the eastside to consider. If you order from the trucks, the vendor will call out your name when your food is ready. This contrasts with The Lot where you’re provided with a number placard and the food is brought out to you. The beer trailer carries a small draft list. Some cans are available. Beer is served in compostable, disposable beer cups. It would be good if they had a recycle bin for the cups right there at the beer trailer but the only one I saw was on the other side next to a food truck. I prefer the glass pints at The Lot and On Tap – they both have a bigger, permanent building that can better house washing facilities. Unless you sit at one of the few bar seats at the beer trailer, it’s picnic table seating under shade from suspended awnings. Those awnings are stylish but could be a bit bigger to block more sun. Lot of rugrats on a late afternoon visit, including one who was pawing at the ground vigorously, kicking up an annoying dust cloud. Mother seemed unconcerned. Limited parking. All in all, although I like The Podski and give it four stars (I like food truck pods in general), I prefer The Lot, or perhaps Spoken Moto and now On Tap.

Austin Street Tacos Menu with Prices 536 NW Arizona Ave, Bend

I love food carts and given the opportunity, I’m always going to check them out. I’m a pretty adventurous eater and the food cart scene fills the gap in our town of great restaurants, but a little short on variety. The Podski is the latest food cart pod, six carts, plus a beer hut. The carts offered a pretty great variety of options. We tried two of the six carts, (one was closed) and thought the food was decent, some better than others. I was a little disappointed that there are only 6 beers on tap and there was only one local brewery represented. That said, it was a Worthy IRA, so thumbs up for that one. They also offer wine, beer in cans and I’m guessing Kombucha (although Kombucha is never on my radar). Seating is casual, shared picnic tables. There is some sort of sun shade over the area. I’m not a huge fan of this style of seating, I’m six feet tall and it’s a long drop to the bench. I did like the vibe, great combination of locals, out of towners, lots of kids and a couple of dogs – great by me. I was concerned that parking would be a problem, but not the case. They have a little lot and were found a spot right away on the street. While I’m a fan, I’m not going out of my way to stop by here again.

Sahara Mobile Court – Menu with Prices – 2340 Sanguinetti Ln, Stockton

The way this place is managaed is absolutely disgusting. The manager is disgusting. Very unsafe living conditions. She had a trailer demolished and left behind broken glass, nails and staples where my kids play. My child fell and had a rusty staple ripped open his knee. She constantly intoxicated, driving around yelling at people out of her truck. She goes on these power trips and finds the smallest things to come and scream in my face about, all while intoxiacted. Ridiculous. She wonâ??t allow pets yet she has several large dogs. During the time Iâ??ve been living at this trailer park sheâ??s had at least seven different men living with her. Thereâ??s always men coming and going from her trailer. Very unprofessional. I wish this park would make necessary changes and find a new manager and fix the damaged roads.

Tiger’s Taproom – Menu with Prices – 308 Jackson St #4, Oakland

Beer flights and a food truck, all constantly available just steps from where I live? Oooooh, this could be a big problem. A most welcome one. Although I was sad that the cafe at this location closed, it’s now a vibrant place in the evenings thanks to the new folks here: Tiger’s Taproom. There are over a dozen brews on tap at any given time, and you can sample them via inexpensive flights. Better yet, there’s a food truck parked out front on many evenings, even during the week. Service is friendly and helpful. Perhaps the only drawback is the modest amount of seating: a couple of communal benches, a few stools at counters along the windows, and a handful of seats at barrels scattered here and there. Still, this is a welcome addition to the JLS neighborhood!

New Orleans Eatery | Authentic Cajun Cuisine in Austin TX Menu with Prices 6900 Ranch Rd 620, Austin

This is the actual name of this establishment not just what they serve very well. This is a food truck/trailer behind the Mighty Fine Burger food trailer on 620 on your right immediately after you cross light at 2222 (4 Points) heading toward Mansfield Dam. They have been open a couple weeks but WOW are they doing some great Cajun basics right. We had the Shrimp Po-Boy and Cajun Crab Burger. Both with their proprietary slaw and Cajun spiced fries. The rolls they use are fresh and soft and huge. Shrimp was perfectly fried with a great Aioli. My wife had crab burger and raves about the flavor. We had beignets and a beer inside of Rock House which is adjacent to the eatery. You are able to sit anywhere there to escape the heat and get a cold beer or wine. Great first outing at New Orleans eatery and Katherine who owns the place is super pleasant and accommodating! We may not have “Gumbos” any longer in Austin but give this place a try for a nice Cajun change of pace.

Bella’s Cravings – Menu with Prices – 625 NE Killingsworth St, Portland

Excellent quality Mediterranean dishes served in an “upscale” food truck park. My Shish Kabob was nicely spiced (albeit slightly over salted) and our other dishes were quite flavorful. Food trucks are all the rage in Portland and the food truck parks are upscaling themselves to create a more park-like picnic ambiance to distinguish themselves. Bella’s Cravings is in one of the better parks with nice wooden pavilions for covered eating spaces. The truck itself is also quite artistically decorated. I’m amused by the numerous 5-star gushing the food trucks are showered with, as if they were Michelin rated restaurants. Bella’s Cravings is one of the better food trucks, yet I debated between 3 and 4 stars. I heard several customers being told that their orders wouldn’t be complete because the kitchen had run out of certain items. My order took close to 40 minutes to complete when I was told 15 (makes it a pain to order from multiple food trucks for a group). The food is quite good, but you’re still walking up to a counter to order and eating at an outdoor picnic table (and bussing your own table – not sure why they have a tip space on the receipt).

Taqueria burro loco – Menu with Prices – 4014 Cherry St, Winston-Salem

We got the al pastor tacos today at lunch and the pork was savory good with the right amount of crunchy bits. Mmmm… crunchy bits. The food was fresh and tasty. Four tacos for $5 and loaded with meat, onions, cilantro and two kinds of spicy sauce. There wasn’t a line, but the traffic coming in and out of the parking lot was nice and steady. They now have a picnic table set up in the shade under some trees and also a bench nearby. The owner is super nice and very hard-working. The taco truck is situated over to the side of the parking lot now, and although I’ve never seen the parking lot filled up, there seem to be plenty of spaces as people complete their order and leave. They are located in the parking lot on the corner(-ish) of Polo and Cherry Street…. more on Cherry Street.

El Fogon Venezuelan Grill – Menu with Prices – 1-99 Hickory St, Melbourne

My husband is a huge fan of steak pepitos, so when the craving hits, this is where we head. I’ll be honest, I don’t know a lot about Venezuelan cuisine, but I do know good food, and whatever I’ve eaten here has been just that! Apart from the steak pepitos (as I mentioned, one of my husband’s favourites), I love the empanadas here (can’t choose between the mince beef and shredded beef ones!), and the shredded beef arepas. 10/10 for flavour and I have to say, they do NOT skimp on the meat fillings here and I love that. If you’re eating here (they have a couple of picnic tables under a shade) definitely ask for their hot sauces – they add a real zing to everything! While the service is wonderful and friendly, it can take a while to prepare the food, which is probably the only complaint I have. Otherwise, I’d definitely recommend giving this food truck a try!

Tamaleria Rincon Sinaloense – Menu with Prices – 421 N Tustin St, Orange

Tamales were really good and I would of gave 5 stars except for the salsa! You get two (2) 2oz containers for free when you buy a dozen. But if you want more they are 2 for $1.00 and the salsa container is only 1/2 full as you can see by my picture so you are really only getting about 1oz of salsa in each container which is barely enough to lightly cover two tamales so if you have a crowd who likes some salsa for their tamales be prepared to pay a lot extra to have enough for your dozen I totally understand that salsa costs but offer a little bit bigger container for those that purchase in bulk and not nickel and dime them over a $20 purchase or bigger purchase With tax your dozen will cost you $19.40 and add $1.00 more for each set of two very small cups of salsa it will add up even if you do the check in offer The salsa was ok not the best I’ve had and I probably would not spend the extra $ to have them provide it for me. Instead I would buy it somewhere else for a bigger container that even with the gas spent would be cheaper I would come back again for the tamales as what I tasted were full with filling and tasted awesome Just keep in mind when you come that they charge extra for each little cup of salsa which was not even full that was very disappointing Update the salsa cups are only 1 oz each not 2 as I thought so your getting less than 2 oz for both cups for a $1.00 extra

Lakota Coffee Company – South – Menu with Prices – 3111 Green Meadows Way, Columbia

Loving this new location for Lakota. It’s super cozy inside with an appropriate lighting and noise level. There are outlets on the floor by almost every single table and by the bar seats facing the window. There’s also bar top seats where you can watch the baristas in action and outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. This location also has a drive through! It seems to be a well oiled machine for its second week. They have your usual coffee and tea drinks, smoothies, milkshakes, draft (Longboat and Bur Oak) and bottled beer, and wine. Plenty of pastries and desserts to go around and sandwiches (both breakfast and lunch/dinner).

The Barrel – Boulder – Menu with Prices – 1710 29th St #1048, Boulder

We stopped here after a beer festival on 29th street mall and it was a great time! They have tons of beer options and lots of seating. The yard is really pretty decorated with white and colorful lights. It was freezing out when we were here and even though this is an outdoor bar we saw that they had igloos! We all (11 or 12 people) squeezed inside and it was so warm! There were seats inside and giant Jenga! Advice: don’t put your beer on the Jenga table.. they probably lose alot glasses that way. I enjoyed the Barrel in Estes Park and now I enjoy this one too! Excited to go back when it’s actually nice out, maybe before a movie at Century!

Sarge’s Smokehouse Bbq LLC – Menu with Prices – 1500 W Cass St, Tampa

We rode our motorcycles there based on other online reviews. I did not realize it was a food truck, so when we did not find a location at 10:45, we killed time at nearby Harley Davidson dealer (who also has a restaurant which I heard was horrible). When we rode by at 11:15, voila! My riding buddy ordered combo platter – he said the chicken was incredibly juicy, the brisket was killer and the pulled pork was perfect. The coleslaw was standard fare – skip it. I ordered the brisket: Brisket is a good test because it dries out easily and is less forgiving. It was only slightly salty, but with the different BBQ sauces it was perfection. I would not hesitate ordering it again. Baked beans are made from scratch (everything is) and had several different kinds of beans and rectangular chunks of bacon or pork belly. I could eat just that for lunch – for real. If your kids are used to boxed stuff, they may not like it. We plan our rides around BBQ destinations. Honestly? This is one of the best. It took us by surprise. —Helpful Tips:1. If you go early, they might not be there yet. 10:40 they were not there. 11am is their start time. 2. Order the baked beans. Better yet, bring a cooler and bring a quart home.3. This is a food truck, so if it is warm outside, plan on eating in your car. There are two picnic benches only.4. If your kids are used to boxed mac n cheese, they might not care for a runnier one with a little kick, unless they’re flexible.5. Look for the strip building with red awnings. This is a dense industrial area off a busy road. Zero on ambiance, but safe. There is an adult establishment across the street, but the building is so industrial that it is hard to tell.6. Veterans with military ID get 10% discount.I hope you found these tips helpful.

Maxline Brewing – Menu with Prices – 2724 McClelland Dr #190, Fort Collins

Nice little brewery! I have been to Maxline a few times now and I have always enjoyed my experience. I have enjoyed the beer options and their selection has grown, along with the seating, over these first three years. I have enjoyed the Irish Red ale and their IPA options when I am there. It is hard to say that any of the beers stand out in my mind as a favorite, but it’s pretty solid work. That being said, I have a couple friends who would say they have a favorite brew on tap here. I really enjoy the patio area and the expansion inside for additional seats since they first opened. The staff has always been rather friendly and helpful, allowing me to try a small taste of a beer before committing to a pint and that is much appreciated! On most of my visits there has been a food truck just outside with good food options to enjoy with my beer. I have recommended this spot to many people who are looking for a brewery to try, since many people do not know it is here. This might be because the location is not well advertised. It is on McClelland, which is not a street many people use who are not locals. There doesn’t seem to be anything that really draws your eye to the spot when driving by either and I feel like that could use some work. I will continue to come to this brewery because I enjoy good beer and I like the neighborhood feel of the place. I feel like is what is going to make all the difference in these next few years with all of the new beer options. Keep up the good work and I will certainly update my review when that standout beer comes along for me.
