Unbelievable how quickly Brooklyn Water Bagel stores have gone downhill. The increased level of incompetence with the staff and lack of cleanliness is mind-blowing. This morning, I asked for one kind of muffin and a coffee. The coffee station had spilled coffee all over the counter and along the floor in front of the containers. Two of the coffee containers were empty. Then going over to get cream and sugar, there is sugar all over the counter as well as more spilled cream and something else on the floor as well. Last portion of the rant, I get to my office with my brown bag that’s holding my muffin. I open the bag to enjoy my muffin at my desk and it’s a completely different muffin than what I asked for! Are you kidding? If the muffin weren’t incredibly dry and tasteless, I might not be as upset, but this thing was horrible. Thanks, BWB….you just lost another local customer.

Proscenium Cafe & Market Menu with Prices 1170 Peachtree St NE # 150, Atlanta

Tucked in the corner on the first floor of the proscenium office building. Very clean and surprisingly spacious. Open seating and bright natural light surrounds the cafe. Some very lovely Korean ladies seem to run the place and are so courteous to all customers. I especially love that they have random Korean snacks on the counter. Prices are very reasonable. I picked up breakfast here before heading to meetings. A bowl of oatmeal (came with brown sugar and raisins), can of la croix, hot tea, and a chobani yogurt ran me $7. That’s pretty reasonable given anything at the hotel would’ve been well over $15 and nowhere near as healthy. Lunch time seems to be popular as well where they offer a special of the day (like bibimbop or udon). Plus there’s a build your own salad bar (many items to select from) and a pay-per-weight hot food bar. Pretty impressed for an office building cafe to have so many selections. I’d gladly come back again and grab another meal. Hopefully lunch next time.

El Cafecito – Menu with Prices – 1852 Polk St, Hollywood

El Cafecito is a hidden gem worth finding in Hollywood. Tucked away on Polk St off Young Circle, it reminds me of a cross between the small family owned Cuban cafes I used to eat at in Hialeah back in the early 80s and today private coffee shops. Service was fast and easy as I came in for a caffeine fix late morning. I was warmly welcomed as I walked in. I wanted a colada, late cup of cafe Cuban. The woman behind the counter asked if I wanted regular sugar, brown sugar, or Stevia. I choose the brown sugar, but only half a serving. She asked if there was anything else I’d like, but I was only planning on my coffee. I will definitely come back in the future to eat as well. Check out their menu on my pictures. I loved that El Cafecito had a fresh feel about it inside. Definitely the kind of place you can meet or bring someone personally or professionally and have a conversation!

Bitty & Beau’s Coffee – Menu with Prices – 4949 New Centre Dr, Wilmington

This is the cutest local chain coffee shop there ever was! I am in love with a good coffee, but a good coffee with a mission behind it? Sign. Me. Up. Not only is the vibe exactly what I want in a coffee shop, it’s got good coffee. Bonus! This one is a little hard to find because you look like you’re going to go and buy a Cadillac at first then you realize the coffee shop is next door. Once you figure out you don’t need to purchase a car you can breathe easy and get your heart pumping on caffeine. This space is so clean, bright, and white. I want to sit on my computer and work all day in there. The employees are the nicest and so upbeat. I ordered a chocolate muffin and a brown sugar cinnamon iced latte with almond milk (no soy). The coffee was good – too sweet for my taste but the name sounds sweet so I get what I asked for. I am interested in buying some coffee beans once I’m ready for more and can’t wait to brew it in the pour over!

Kedai Gelato – Menu with Prices – 27423 Ynez Rd Ste 101 A, Temecula

Finally.. I was definitely so glad we made it to your new store Kedai Gelato and met you guys ! The path you had walked on was very difficult. But look how beautiful the destination is. I salute you for the path you and your husband have taken! As a closer friends, we are so proud of you guys and your accomplishments. And we’re absolutely confident that you guys will continue with even more success! Best of luck in you guys next adventures! CONGRATULATIONS! Of course I came so far to try the gelato and the gelato was damn so good! I liked gelato than ice cream. It is churned at a much slower rate, incorporating less air and leaving the gelato denser than ice cream. It is served at a slightly warmer temperature than ice cream, so it’s texture stays silkier and softer. Because it has a lower percentage of fat than ice cream, the main flavor ingredient really shines through. And it’s typically offers fewer calories, less sugar and lower fat content per serving than ice cream, which I more prefer gelato than ice cream ! I liked the coffee tastes.. so tried all.. they all yummy! And I tried the feta spinach muffin! Yes it’s damn so tasty and delicious, I even liked the smell of the muffin! It packed with spinach and cubes of feta cheese, this flavor-rich muffin treat me taste buds to a yummy spanakopita-like experience. I could grab this muffin with coffee every in the morning ! Also I tried a french beignets! Perfect for breakfast or brunch, or as a light dessert. These delicate pastry, tender and rich, are filled with hazelnut chocolate, dark chocolate, and white chocolate for a sweet counterpoint to make these imported French beignets memorable. Tossed in powdered sugar, these beignets are a cloud-like treat from sweet heaven! Ya heaven ! U guys should visit and try it!

Hermanos Coffee + Juice – Menu with Prices – 650 California St, San Francisco

Decent coffee, especially if you work in the office building it inhabits. Disclaimer: I’m not a SF native and tried this place out on a whim. I was heading to a juice bar when I thought about adding coffee to the mix (two beverages at 7 am in the morning– is there anything better?). Quickly searching nearby places, I stumbled upon Hermanos. Located inside an office building, it’s a cute stand in the lobby. When I arrived at around 7 am, there was no line (likely because people had yet to make their way to the office for the day). I was quickly helped, ordering the Ritual Drip Coffee with the Yelp deal. Let’s be real, there’s nothing better than free coffee. They have some cream and liquid cane sugar out for people to add if they like. I added a little of both, so I can’t speak to the taste of the pure coffee. However, what I did drink was a solid cup. Not out of this world, but something that I could get behind drinking on a regular basis. Overall, you really can’t beat free coffee so if you’re in the area, go get your caffeine fix! Otherwise, I would probably only frequent it if I was located nearby or was walking past.

Mugsy’s Coffee Co M2 – Menu with Prices – 620 Dunlop Ln #123, Clarksville

One of my favorite…ok.probably my favorite coffee shop for coffee drinks in Clarksville. I LOVE that they have so many sugar free flavored syrups for you to choose from! My favorite, so far, is coconut! Love me some coconut. I usually get a scone too. Today I had a morning glory muffin…it was basically carrot cake without the frosting..loaded with carrots, raisins, coconut, walnuts and (I think?) pineapple. I’m gonna say something…and it may sound mean..but it’s not..I’m just being descriptive. The scones and the muffins I’ve had there are always very brown. Not burnt, but pretty brown. Carmelized. But guess what? THAT’S OK WITH ME! I am that person who likes the corner pieces, the cookies that are a hair overdone…that’s the way I like them. Only once has a scone been a little too done even for me…ONCE. I’ve had blueberry, white chocolate raspberry and apple scones. I think the white chocolate raspberry is my favorite. Their scones are hearty, not like those sad “I can’t decide if I’m cake or a biscuit” type scones some places serve. I don’t mind if you wanna sell me a blueberry muffin…just don’t try to pass it off as a scone because you cut it in a triangle. But, alas, there is a sadness in my heart..they’re closed on Sundays. If you’re wanting your Mugsy’s on Sunday…buy an extra on Saturday and heat it up on Sunday. Problem solved.

My Favorite Muffin – Menu with Prices – 6517 Kitten Lake Drive, Midland

Horrible horrible customer service. Went in for a bagel sandwich and a few muffins. When we got to the counter, we were immediately accosted by the person behind the counter. There was virtually no one in the shop, so there was no need to rush. My husband tried to explain that we hadn’t had time to look at the muffins or decide what we wanted, but she continued to rush us to make an order. I was literally standing beside the muffin counter trying to pick one out, and she pretended not to see me. I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. Perhaps because I don’t look like their typical clientele, they assume I couldn’t afford their products? When my husband tried to make his order, which was again rushed, they question whipped him on what he wanted on the sandwich, when the menu clearly lists the ingredients and he asked for it to be made exactly like the menu. I won’t be coming back.

QDOBA Mexican Eats – Menu with Prices – 4235 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas

I wanted to like this place after my friend hyped it up. It started promising, I ordered a burrito for here and a quesadilla to go. But when the lady asked what I wanted in my burrito and started putting rice and beans on a cold half tortilla I was confused. Then asked what I wanted on my burrito, and I said I just told you. And she told me this is the quesadilla. Okay so clearly this is reversed and I said so, and she just stared at me like she wasn’t going to remake it. So whatever right? Things happen. Added a drink with my meal, and they’re out of coke and Diet Coke…like, why? So whatever the foods gotta be good right? Saw some lemons and limes and was going to grab a few for my food, open the containers – all hot brown dried limes. Open the lemons – dry hot lemons, yum. (Fun fact, you’re supposed to put ice at the bottom of those containers and change it out). Sad day.

Hilton Garden Inn Albany Airport Menu with Prices 800 Albany Shaker Rd, Albany

Lets start with our 2 phone calls to a very rude desk clerk named Teresa, we called once and told 20 min then called after 25 min and she told us he would be there, so I asked when and she stated “fine I will try and get hold of him” then she came back and said 5 min more. When we got to the hotel a 5 min drive we question her about it and she loudly stated that we are an on call service and don’t just service the airport. I said okay may I have the managers name, she then said ” it’s on the sign over there if you want it.” She was dismissive and rude. Then I get my key to room 410 and may I add that floor smelled so bad of pot it was unreal, but of course the key does not work. I return down stairs inform her the key does not work she takes my key never says a word to me after another 5 min hands me a key and says that is your room. No apology for the mix up nothing, then I get to my room 504 and the stink and stench is horrible. Thank god I have air freshener because I would not want to deal with that rude front desk person again. Oh and may I add the ice machine on the 5th floor does not work. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere but here! And of course this is all started at 1020 at night and did not get to a room I could get into 1110. Very poor!!!

Roast Coach Coffee Bar – Menu with Prices – 345 Sixth Ave, San Diego

This little coffee stand outside the Marriott at Gas Lamp District is awesome! It’s great for grab and go if you’re in the area and close enough to walk up or drive up. The barista is very efficient. They have some seriously good fresh pastries. I had a raspberry one and the the next day I had a strawberries and cream one. So yummy! The first day I chose The Turk which is an iced coffee drink with muddled mint and brown sugar and cardamum. Really good. I liked it. Next day I chose the dealers choice which is more pour over, served warm, with vanilla and sugar and cream. I like how the pour over is done at the cart right in front of you In these little white drip mugs into your to-go cup. It’s pretty legit. This is a gem. Glad I found it. Try the pastries!

French Truck Coffee – Menu with Prices – 650 Poydras St Suite 102, New Orleans

I am not a â??coffee aficionado or expert, I just know what I want and what I love. Anyway, before we start walking around the beautiful Garden District, we stopped by at this coffee shop. We ordered Iced Mocha Latte, Oji drip Iced Coffee, â??and a â??muffin. Iced Mocha – This is my usual order in any new coffee shop that I visit, it becomes my baseline. For this particular location, their Mocha Latte is different from other Mocha Latte that I have tried. The combination of mocha and espresso give this sour taste, I think the roast of the bean is light to medium with fruity undertone which I don’t mind but not my favorite. They also put a lot of ice, but I think you can just ask them for less ice. Oji Drip Iced Coffee – The process of making this coffee is a separate attraction which you can see over the counter. The coffee itself tastesâ?? like a combination of some kind â??of tea and fruit flavor, truly not in my alley but it was a â??refreshing taste for the summer heat. Muffin – I totally forgot the name, but the softness and deliciousness of it stayâ?? with me. It was just a â??perfect pick-me-up muffin. Space – They do have a good amount of tables and chairs, where you can hang out with your friends, working, studying or just people watching. All in all, it was an okay experience, coffee was refreshing not my favorite but the muffin was amazing. I recommend to give them a try, you will have your coffee fix and an Instagramâ?? post.

Windsor Deli Menu with Prices 7525 Tilghman St # 105, Allentown

We ended up stopping here on our road trip. My kids ran in to use the bathroom, and i got two soups (barley/chicken) which were horrible, on top of all this they seem racist. The girl at the counter was staring at my husband, not because she liked him but because of his skin color. Upon leaving we cleaned up after ourselves and some soup dripped on floor, the young girl ran to tell her “mama” the mop was needed as if it was a huge spill” the mother tells me before leaving “i cleaned up the soup that was spilled” ok? Gave her a dirty look and walked out with my family. She also blamed one of the kids for her bathroom light not turning on, i said “oh MY kids?” Definitely not a pleasant place to walk into
