VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER. Before I ordered the Kare kare, I asked how many ox tails was included the waiter, I think his name is Jay or jr. We’ll he told me that it came with 2 big ox tails and some tripes and beef briskets. He mentioned if I just want the ox tails instead of the other meats, it would be the same price of $24.00 for large. But when he was explaining it to me, that he’ll put more ox tails, he said it will be extra. So I think he wasn’t telling me the truth. So I ordered our food -crispy binagoongan , kare kare, pinakbet. And rice. When the food finally came, my wife and I were very very disappointed that kare kare didnt have the big ox tails. That he said it would. We didn’t want to complain right there, so I called and ask him why is there only 2 small ox tails. I asked him where is the big ox tails, he said he never said that and he said there’s 2 in pot. He had an attitude bcuz I questioned the food. He then said he will get more ox tails. When he came back he brought over 1 small ox tail in a very tiny, small pala yok. What a joke , I knew his was making fun of me bcuz I complained. He also was asking me if I was good when he brought the small ox tail. I didnt want to make a scene. We as paying customer either Filipino or other ethic background be treated with respect . I was respectful towards him . I paid my hard earned money to eat good Filipino yet I got very very bad customer service and the was not great at all. The reason we went to this location is bcuz the one in north hills was busy. I told my family and friends of my bad experience here. They just lost a good paying customer. This facility needs to learn people skills. I do not recommend this place even if they giving food for free. Oh almost forgot, I called the place to speak with the manager, Jay answered. I ask for manager he said no one available. I asked for managers name. He would not give name. He asked why I wanted to speak to manager I replied I wanted to complain about customer service. He again had an attitude on the phone. So I just hung up on him.. For Jay being in the customer’s eyes. By giving poor customer service gives us Filipinos a bad name.. I even left a 18% tip of bill $64.70. knowing if I didnt he would be talking bad about us shame on you Jay Treating customers poorly. Had to pick 1 star or I can’t post. Zero rating:(!!

El Paraiso Salvadoreno #2 – Menu with Prices – 974 Kendall Dr, San Bernardino

I just want to write a review regarding their customer service here, which is beyond horrible. The lady who works up at the front and takes the customer orders and claims to be the manager. I don’t understand how she is the manager due to her unprofessional attitude. I called to complain and she answered and she stated she was the manager and she didn’t take my complain seriously and was also rude to me. I simply wanted to complain about the service they provided my family with. I really don’t know how they can run a business being so rude and unprofessional. Time and time again, I give them the benefit of the doubt but enough is enough. I will no longer go back and support a business that treats their customers so rudely. I would urge customers not to come because they would be treated like they don’t matter and there are also other good food spots in the area. I’m not the first to complain nor the last but I simply write here on yelp so my voice could be heard. I don’t like to leave negative reviews but this was necessary. I hope they take the measures that are necessary to create a better atmosphere for their customers.

Valentino’s Take ‘n Bake Pizza – Menu with Prices – 4421 Hollister Ave, Santa Barbara

Very Poor!!! We have been a Customer for 20 plus years. Tonight it was the worst Customer Service that I have ever seen. Historically we have order the Chicken Cacciatore. It has always been excellent. Tonight, it was the worst….no cheese whatsoever. Quiet frankly it didn’t even look like a Pizza. Called in to complain and offered to take the cooked pizza back. The manager, Dylan, said the policy is only to give you cheese to re-cook your Pizza. We wanted a new pizza and they wouldn’t budge. When we called to complain, we were hung up on. After driving back to Valentinos and explaining to them how long a Customer we were and then “they had just lost us”…His reply to us “So Be It”!!! Can you believe that…In a World today where Customer Service means everything, this young kid doesn’t have a clue……walked out with a cup of cheese to reheat our Pizza!!!!! Really!!!!!

Carlo’s Bake Shop – Menu with Prices – 1354 3rd Street Promenade, Santa Monica

I thought I’d surprise my family by bringing in some of these famous lobster tails. Frickin’ YouTube kept advertising his lobster tails and cannoli video. I watched both of them and having a sweet tooth, I thought to myself one day after work I’ll pop on by. I got there and immediately started searching for the cannoli and lobster tails. When I found them one of the staff members approached me. I asked him much we’re the lobster tail my appetite sank when I heard each tail is $5.95. I asked him about the cannoli again, they said $5.95. I thought to myself “Well I’m already here, might as well buy some.” I ordered 6 regular lobster tails and 2 Nutella tails and 1 cannolo. All this was over $50. Again walking out of the store I thought to myself “Well this is the ‘Cake Boss’ recipe so they have to be great!” Wrong! On my way back to the car I ate my cannolo. What can I say. It was a pretty average cannolo. Let’s start off with the shell. It was too thick, my teeth felt like they had to fight their way through it to even crack a piece. The shell isn’t the traditional one you’ll get in Sicily, I didn’t taste any Marsala wine in it and they’re supposed to be cooked in lard. The ricotta filling wasn’t anything special. It taste like just about any filling that you’ll run into. It was disappointing to not see other filling besides chocolate chips. No nuts or candied citrus ricotta mix. But they did have Nutella and pumpkin spice cannolis, advertising to the Basic Girls of Santa Monica with the latter. When I got home I surprised everyone with their tails. My brother and I finished our food first and we we eagerly awaiting to see all the hype behind these. But that’s the thing, these lobster tails are all hype and nothing more. The tail is light and airy, but I felt it was somewhat dry and stale. Now the cream, that was a disappointment! The cream had no body to it like the one shown on their YouTube video. It was runny and loose and it kept squirting out, essentially leaving to lick off the cream off your plate or fingers while you continued eating this hallowed dry and stale pastry. I really was expecting this cream filling to have some body but to me it seemed like a thicker version of creme anglaise. My final complaint is how small they are. Their YouTube video shows these very big tails, while they’re about 1/2 to 3/5 the size of my hand. Will I ever go back to a Carlo’s Bakery? No. Hell no. The prices a d quality do not warrant the money you shell out for mediocre pastry. Other bakeries do better than this and without the crazy prices. This place is just a way to sucker people in because they have a food network star’s name behind it. The fact that there is no check for quality control from a team member back east or Buddy himself, shows it’s all a ploy for money and that they don’t care that they’re giving customers the middle finger. Well this review is my middle finger to them.

Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers Airport/FGCU – Menu with Prices – 16410 Corporate Commerce Way, Fort Myers

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip. The first night I went downstairs to the restaurant and worked – for the record at most there were only 2-3 other tables filled and I ordered food/wine the entire time I was there. The 2nd night I went down to the restaurant. As I pulled out my laptop, I was told their boss – Jeff Broderick – did not allow laptops “because it was fish fry night and they wanted to get people in and out”. I was asked to leave. Same as the night before, I intended to drink and eat while working. At that point how do you turn down a paying customer? Irony: Manager Jeff Broderick was at the bar – working. Which I was told was not allowed and asked to leave. I left and came back downstairs at 7 PM or shortly after – there were 6 tables available and three seats at the bar. There was a large party of 6 that was there before I got there and stayed and an hour after I got there – I guess it was ok to stay if you didn’t have a laptop. When the fish fry/buffet ended, customers couldn’t get to the food for the employees. I counted 6 employees getting their free food in front of paying customers. The bartender had to answer his cell and disappear to eat his plate of food at one point. The bartender when asked by other male customers if he would stay open past closing said no. Then the male customers said, ” but money talks, right?” Of course he (the bartender) said, yes. Jeff Broderick should be far less worried about a paying customer who simply wanted to eat/drink while working – than his own actions and those of his staff.

Fresh Smoothies & Cafe – Menu with Prices – 2450 Creston Ave, The Bronx

I would like to think it was because I came in 15 min to closing but that shouldnt change the attitude that you have towards the customer. I walked in and the ladies were talking they looked at me and continued talking. Very disrespectful didnt get greeted or anything, so I said excuse me and asked for what I wanted. Then I told her ill buy an orange juice aswell only for the simple fact that I wanted to see the machine working she stated that the machine is off and the juice was premade that defeated the purpose of wanting the juice so I didnt get it, but They have a lil process that’s done to meet customers satisfaction they serve you an ounce or 2 of w.e. smoothie you ordered to taste for perfection incase you want to add anything or change anything but as I get my sample the lady started to pour it in the cup, didnt wait for my opinion. It wasnt as cold as I would have wanted it to be but didnt wanna start anything I just said it was fine. The one moping gets mad because my boots were dirty she told me to stand by the door and the other lady tells me to come over to the cashier to pay and the one mopping gets mad. I just think for a first time experience on a Friday night it should have been a little better.. I’ll come again another time maybe I’ll change my rating but as of now very disappointed

The Slyder House – Menu with Prices – 4000 San Fernando Rd, Glendale

Now I know why this place is ALWAYS EMPTY every time I drive by it. My family & I have been there a couple times and the food was okay. Today I took my 8 year old son to eat there, we asked for the restroom code to use it before they order their usual order. The cashier said in a very aggressive tone that only paying customers can use the restroom and had my debit card in my hand ready to buy food after my son used the restroom. The customer service was HORRIBLE!! As always, the place was completely EMPTY and the cashier’s name is Natalie, she was incredibly RUDE and she called her manager named Robert who was even more RUDE. With the horrible treatment that I and my poor hungry son received, we definitely did not purchase any food and left and promised to never come back and the manager replied with many rude sarcastic things. I only wished I could have recorded the whole ordeal as this was truly a DISAPPOINTING experience. Shame on the employees and the supposed “manager” who were completely UNPROFESSIONAL, they should be fired from their job and maybe then they will have customers. PLEASE READ all the BAD REVIEWS as they are true!!! I hope that with my honest review and sharing my experience it will save someone from having a bad experience like ours. I hope the OWNER reads my review and takes it into consideration.

Jimmy’s Egg Menu with Prices 2225 Georgia St S, Amarillo

We stopped in Jimmy’s Egg In Amarillo Texas about 10 o’clock on Friday, September 13, 2019. We were seated in Thomas’ area. It was so cold we asked for the air to be turned up because it was extremely uncomfortable . Thomas immediately responded he was not cold. We noticed several tables around us indicating they were cold also. When Thomas came back to the table we asked if he had spoken with the manager about how cold it was. He hesitated and then said no. We knew because we watched when he left our table and he did not attempt to speak to any other staff. His next comment was that he was not going to address the temperature because he didn’t want his Waite staff hot while they were working. He could see how upset he made me with that comment. I asked specifically if he was concerned with the customer comfort in this restaurant. He responses that he was not going to do anything about the air. I then asked for my check and he could cancel our two breakfast orders. He said no charge for the Coffee but I insisted on paying for any food or beverage I consumed. We then left and went across the street to Denny’s and had a much more pleasant experience. In addition I have the loyalty card Thomas had already redeemed a coupon I had for a free short stack of pancakes which of course is now wasted. In addition my breakfast guest is on crutches do to a injury so it is extremely difficult and painful for her to move around any more then necessary. I am disappointed in the poor service that I received at this location today. I was told more then once there was not a manager available. If the business model for Jimmy’s Egg is to have no decision maker available during business hours this should change immediately. The manager at this location is John Casasanta and the restaurant phone number is 806 418-6752. Hopefully you can reach manager when he decides to come to work. If you want to be disrespected and receive poor customer service go see Thomas at Jimmy’s Egg in Amarillo Texas.

Las Islas Marias – Menu with Prices – 2150 N Amidon Ave, Wichita

I loved this place. The food is great but the management does not know how to run a business. We had some issues with our order and tried to resolve them with the waiter. The manager refused to do anything to help. We ended up paying for 2 expensive entres we didn’t mean to order (which is fine it was our mistake) and then also paid full price for the dish we actually wanted even after the waiter suggested we may be able to get a discount. After this the manager also tagged on 18% gratuity for a table of 4 even though their policy states automatic gratuity for party’s of 10 or more. I think it was just a manager who doesn’t know how to treat customers making sure he collected our tip. We never got mad or complained but we were treated like we were some sort of nuisance by the manager. This happened the evening of 04/20/19. If it was just one bad manager I may give it another try some time.

Jamaican Vibez – Menu with Prices – 195 Starpoint Dr, Fayetteville

A friend of mind invited me to lunch after going back and forth and knowing where to have lunch. I highly recommended jamaican vibez!!!! What a disappointment. I was telling my friend how good the food was. I ordered the buffet and was not pleased I got my curry chicken or should I say curry bones, stewed chicken tasted funny and the mac n cheese was undercooked. My friend ordered the ox tails. She got her plate and we were trying to find the ox tails 3 extremely small bones no meat . My friend got upset and requested a refund. The guy that took her order apologize and ask for her plate he took it to the back and said “I got you” He brought it back out handed it to her she looks at it . Wow all he did was added a extra small ox tail bone so done with them. Welp by this time we’re just over it as we were about to leave I spotted the owner. my friend spoke with him we were explaining everything about our food. He the owner was telling us how ox tails were expensive ummmm like we don’t know!!!!! Well if you’re gonna be stingy don’t sell them. My friend felt as much as she paid for them she should have gotten mored than 4 small bones should have taken a pic!!!!!!! Oh and as we were walking out a young lady said I wish the old owners come back didn’t even know. You don’t have to worry about me coming back use to be my spot.

Seasoning 63 – Menu with Prices – 2513 Old 63 S #103, Columbia

Good food. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE customer service. Delivery sucks and their manager is a jerk. Called to complain after order was an hour late (an hour AFTER the initial time promised it would be here, Which was 1.5 hours after placing the order). Called the restaurant 3 times to get help on where the order was…â?he went wrong way.â? â??He is on the wayâ? etc etc etc every excuse in the book. Driver finally called â??Hi. Come out to get your food.â? Other than that being rude for having food delivered, he wasnâ??t even by our apartment. Still had to wait. Asked for a discount and he said he didnâ??t know if they did that. Told us to sign receipt but both said customer copy and had no signature line. I called the restaurant again to ask for a discount for being an hour late and the lady handed the phone to the manager. He kept giving excuses and saying we must have ordered from door dash, which we didnâ??t. We ordered directly from the restaurant. Then I asked for the owners name so I could talk to someone above him. He asked what discount I wanted and kept laughing at me. I pointed out how incredibly rude it was to laugh at an angry customer and he laughed again. Then when I asked for owners name and when he would be in, the manager â??gene?â? Said he didnâ??t know when Loo was going to be there. I asked for the lady that I first spoke to and he said he didnâ??t know her name (yet heâ??s the manager?). He finally told me he would refund me half of the order price and I said ok, but when I told him I was angry that he was laughing and didnâ??t handle the situation well, he said he canâ??t talk to me anymore and handed me back to the lady. She said she would refund full price and they hung up. What a trip with these people. Good food, but man, thereâ??s good food with good service at tons of other places. Go to other places.

Crafty Bastards Restaurant & Craft Beer Bottle Shoppe – Menu with Prices – 4860 NW 39th Ave A, Gainesville

Came here with our granddaughter on a Saturday night. All of 4 customers in total in the whole place. We ordered from the kids menu first. Since we wanted both the Chicken and Mac n Cheese we asked if we could order a side order of the mac n cheese. The waiter said he needed mgmt approval for this but came back and said he could do it for cost of $4. Keep in mind mac n cheese is a main dish on the menu for adults and children… When the food came I was shocked by what was brought to us bcuz it was literally cheap boxed mac n cheese from the grocery store in a very small container. Not what they actually serve the customers on the menu. When I questioned why we didn’t get what was on the menu they said bcuz the good mac n cheese is premade with the chicken. Really. They charge $4 for a small portion of something that is cheap and didn’t even taste good??? No flavor at all. We could have stayed home for this. Instead what we got was over cooked chicken plain box M&C with a fruit cup for the baby. When I say fruit cup I thought it was going to be fresh fruit bowl/ cup but even that was literally a fruit cup that you get at the grocery store in a plastic cup (the kind that’s sold 6 in a pack)with the plastic seal over it. Wow really! Unreal!!!! The food that the adults ordered was sad as well. The fries were so greasy to even touch let alone eat and the fish tasted at if it had been cooked in three day old grease! I was so upset by the whole baby’s meal and fish and fries situation that I sent my food back untouched. But of course I was charged for that too. I don’t care about the money. Given the crowd that WASN’T there they need it more than I do. $53 FOR A MEAL THAT WAS BY FAR THE CHEAPEST I’VE HAD IN MANY YEARS. I’M REFERRING TO THE QUALITY NOT THE COST. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WON’T BE BACK.

Double Dutch Bronx – Menu with Prices – 2430 3rd Ave, The Bronx

I would give a 2 star solely based on the quality of the items, however, the customer experience is so poor that it overrides any of the positives about this place. A few months ago, I went in to do some work because the WiFi was being fixed at our apartment. Double Dutch online said open til 6pm. Around 4pm, a young lady said that they were closed and we needed to leave. I was totally fine with the information being incorrect online, and just brought it to her attention and suggested she tell the manager. Her response was, “I don’t know about that, I just know I’m done at 4.” Absolutely no empathy at all. Then this weekend, my boyfriend and I decided to come for an afternoon pick me up. The cafe was packed! People chatting over coffee and snacks, having laughs… it’s such a great little spot in the Bronx…but no employee at the counter. So we waited. And waited. And waited. Over five minutes went by, we tried knocking on the bathroom door… saying hello to the back… and no one came. Other customers looked confused and we all knew it was poor customer service. So we left with out anything. Not only is this just a horrible reflection on this business, but It’s also probably not very safe for the business or it’s customers. After that, we’ve just decided not to support such a poorly run business. The coffee is great, but $6 for a 12 oz. drink is easily ruined by the experience altogether. I am only willing to spend the price when their is quality all around, and this one is just poor.
