My mom & dad both moved to an apartment home at MonteVista last May. What I love about MonteVista are how the residents and the staff were friendlier than I ever imagined – they both feel at home now. There is so much going on with bridge for mom, the entertainers that come, and don’t forget happy hour. Thanksgiving and the other special event dinners are beyond what you can ever get anywhere else. And the holiday decorating is Macy’s plus! There are just so many caring staff all around mom & dad – Valerie is amazing and the wait staff totally know the residents. We found an excellent home health provider that works so well with the community. Mom benefits from the in-house therapy, and Norma totally knows how to get mom participating. What a great solution for a fun home. This was all totally needed. Thanks MonteVista!

No words Can describe how grateful we are to this place. My wife and I are thankful to the entire staff and how they helped us through the journey of trying to save our pup. Unfortunately we had to put him down but Throughout the process 14th Street Animal Hospital was the best place we could have visited. I felt at home and with a understanding caring staff by my side my entire experience was priceless. After visiting several places I am glad we found them. They were honest and fair with pricing when it came to the issues we faced. I fully recommend them, their staff is amazing. They are a passionate crew who will go above and beyond to make you feel at home. They are also sweet and caring to all animals. Glad bless places like this.

Oshtemo Pharmacy and Cafe – Menu with Prices – 635 N 9th St e, Kalamazoo

There is no better pharmacy in the western hemisphere or Kalamazoo! Thank Goodness, no more: “We’re out of stock we’ll have it in about a week.” At Oshtemo Pharmacy, at worst you’ll come back the next morning, but that’s rare. Dr. Phi is not only a caring, highly knowledgeable Pharmacist, but his shop makes you feel like your back in the 60’s where everyone knows your name (just like “Cheers”), he processes then quickly (no more: it’ll be an hour like all chain pharmacies), he’s pleasant, explains anything that needs clarification or if you have questions, his staff is equally professional and courteous. He’s not afraid to contact the provider or insurance company and carefully while filling, examines medications for contraindications and more than once, asked me to contact my physician to measure something after being prescribed a particular med, he’s very safe. On the other side of the shop (just like old Apothecaries) is a small Vietnamese delicatessan – enjoy! If you want a kind, professional, personal and quality oriented pharmacy provider, who knows you by name, explains in detail any issues and is quick and efficient, look no further than Phi (Fee) Nguyen (newyan) at Oshtemo Pharmacy, they even deliver!

Santa Fe Community College – Menu with Prices – 6401 Richards Ave, Santa Fe

Despite what some may say, the Santa Fe Community College is an excellent school. Especially for those of us who can not afford and expensive University.The staff and facilities are awesome and there are many degree options for you to pick from. There are also many extra circular classes that seem like a lot of fun! Sure it’s not perfect but no one should expect it to be as they are just a small college. I can say from my own personal experience that I enjoy coming to school here. Everyone is really friendly and most of the teachers are helpful and caring towards their students.

This is a wonderful community with an outstanding board . We are pet lovers here and are allowed to walk our dogs on any of the sidewalks and as long as you follow the pet etiquette rule # 1 , pick up # 2 everyone’s happy. We do not have a dog park. There is a grass area where people bring their dogs and sit and visit. There are multiple dog parks in the Mesa/Gilbert area, however. This is an H.O.A community with rules and regs that work to keep our area as beautiful as it is. You are correct about the speeding – our new community mgr. and the board are working on a solution to that problem. As for buying somewhere else, there are other gated 45-55+ neighborhoods that would gladly take your $600 – $800. a month lot rent.

Amazing facility, incredible staff, out of this world programming! A true Health wellness and fitness club. They have everything you need from Youth Sports training to weight loss recovery and nutrition. This is the community you want to belong to fun energetic, motivated inspiring people living their happiest and healthiest life and having a fun time doing it.

The Market at 25th – Menu with Prices – 1330 N 25th St, Richmond

OK. I’m amending this review because I clearly went on a bad day. The first day to be exact…when few businesses, if any, are completely ready to go. The parking lot was a nightmare at first, but today, even during rush hour, it’s much, much easier to get into. It’s not a well-designed parking lot to be sure, but that should not deter you at all from coming to this store. The staff is friendly and eager to help. Smiles are everywhere and that says something very positive about this store. Prices are far better than many local outlets like Kroger or even Food Lion. And an excellent variety to choose from. Yes, they even had corn starch this time! Admittedly I was unimpressed at first, but given the size, cleanliness and service of the store, this is now EXACTLY what the residents of Church Hill have been waiting for. No need to go to Farm Fresh, people. I’m glad I came back and I will return often. By the way, the phone works…!

Broken Robot Coffee – Menu with Prices – 2860 SE Gladstone St #102, Portland

This place is so cute! Small space, but actually has decent amount of seating. Fast internet. It’s really chill inside. I had a super yummy spicy chai, and the owner said her brother created the recipe and I believe said the recipe includes things like fresh ginger juice. She made me a totally bomb bagel sandwich…egg, cheese, tomato, and avocado on an everything bagel (which I think was from Spielman, as an east coaster, I have feelings about bagels, and this was a good one). The best part is that I am sitting here and the owner seems to personally know everyone who comes in. She is super friendly and caring towards customers and apologized to me for having to wait for my bagel sandwich when I didn’t even notice the wait. EXCELLENT customer service! In a town full of snooty baristas who don’t give a shit, take your tip money here instead. ?

Las Veguitas Restaurant Menu with Prices 6333 S Kings Hwy, Alexandria

A friend recommended coming here, and what a great recommendation! Don’t be discouraged by the somewhat “iffy” area. You may see a homeless person outside but do go in and dine here! In fact, my friend does the health inspections here, and she says this establishment passes with flying colors all the time! Very clean place! The staff spoke very little English but are totally gracious and accommodating. They brought us the Botana Las Veguitas which is a basically a sampler platter, and everything was delicious! The fried chicken, the steak, the yucca – all perfect. The tacos de Asada and the pupusas were excellent. All very flavorful without being too salty. I will be returning again with a big group of friends!!!

Ward’s Seafood Market & Take-Out – Menu with Prices – 1001 Belleair Rd, Clearwater

Been going here forever. BY FAR the best fishmonger in Tampa Bay. They always have local line caught whole fish at reasonable prices. The staff here is friendly, fast and knowledgeable, and they have a ton of people working at any given time so you never have to wait long. I contact them via text weekly for live crawfish availability and the response is always prompt. Have recommended this to hundreds of tourists, local and seasonal residents and have never heard anything less than stellar about Wardâ??s in 20 years. This is how to run a locally owned business. Now if we only had Jimâ??s Meat Market open back up weâ??d have our prized butcher back, but Wards is and always will be a local treasure. They also support local fishermen. This is a business that cares about supporting the local community and providing a superior quality product at a fair price on a consistent basis.

St. Matthew’s House Boutique Thrift Store – Menu with Prices – 2601 Airport-Pulling Rd, Naples

Beautiful, clean and all kinds of items to fill a home! I think it is very expensive so even though I don’t purchase anything ~it’s a fun time lð???king. Clothing, jewelry and shoes are fab. Every once in a while I find something reasonably priced. I understand they have overhead and expense for all they do in community and housing homeless and giving 2nd chances, addiction rehab, feeding the needy, heathcare, etc but they receive so much in donations…it would be nice if people living in this area could afford the incredible things donated. If you are trying to decorate a rental home this is the place for you! They do a fabulous job setting up the furniture from couch, tables, lamps down to nic nacs~so you have a good idea of what works for you! But you need to have a big budget. Always staffed with happy volunteers and nice staff.
