This Infinite Monkey Theorem, located within the Stanley Marketplace, is a bit different from the RiNo location, though the wine is the same (which is a VERY good thing). This location boasts a very quiet, relaxing environment to sip your wine of choice in. It is almost reminiscent of a library, lounge, or coffee shop. If you are wanting somewhere to bring your favorite novel and have a glass of my personal favorite, the sparkling white, this is the place. If you are looking for a place to sip rose while you loudly giggle and catch up with your girlfriends, this may not be for you. The RiNo location has always been one of my favorite places to go because it has always struck me as a beer brewery that served wine. To elaborate, my husband always loved going to breweries and their loud, fun atmosphere but it was difficult for me because I didn’t enjoy drinking beer. When we discovered the RiNo Infinite Monkey Theorem it was this revelation that we could combine the best of both worlds. This is not what the Stanley Marketplace’s atmosphere promotes, favoring a quiet, dark escape instead. It is good that the two locations are different because they are not that far apart from each other, and it’s important to offer variety. Just don’t go to this one expecting the experience you get at RiNo. That being said, for me personally the Stanley Marketplace Infinite Monkey Theorem is less my cup of tea…wine. Their prices are always a bit high ($7 a draft), but were easily justified by the super fun atmosphere and amazing flavors. While this version of IMT definitely offers the same, extremely delicious wine, the atmosphere is less appealing. Don’t get me wrong, I will ABSOLUTELY be back here, because I love their wine so much. It just might be a stop and grab one instead of a spend-a-whole-date-night here.

Denver Biscuit Company Menu with Prices 2501 Dallas St, Aurora

What can I say? I find it hard to NOT stop at a Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives featured location when traveling. I was able to get to this place and since I just saw the re-run a few weeks ago, it was fresh in my memory. This one is located within the Stanley Marketplace, which adds to the experience. I listed the review for the Stanley Marketplace in another review. This location is on the outer edges of the market so there is a small outdoor dining patio, which was full when I got there since the Colorado fall weather was really comfortable that day. The dining room at this location is not very big, but considering the building it’s in, I’m sure that has some reason as to the size of the place. I sat at the bar and was able to take my time looking over the menu. There was the biscuit sandwiches and biscuit plates to chose from. The waiter recommended two the most popular sandwiches was the Franklin or the Ellsworth. The waiter did tell me that the Franklin was a very filling lunch and the Ellsworth was a little lighter. Since I still had big day ahead and did not want to get weighed down from my lunch, I chose the Ellsworth with a side of homemade pickles. It came out pretty quick and the chicken patty was very crunchy on the outside and really tender and juicy on the inside. The biscuit was huge and flaky with a butter flavor. The mustard that was smeared on the chicken had some good kick to it and the entire sandwich was drizzled with local Colorado honey. Yum! Not sure when I will back in the area, but this place is definitely on my must visit list.

Pedaler Wine & Beer – Menu with Prices – 5910 Duraleigh Rd suite 141, Raleigh

I’m still trying to figure out the name of this place? The sign outside reads ‘Beer & Wine 101’, the door read ‘Pedaler Wine & Beer’ and then the page reads ‘Wine 101’…. I’m not sure if they can’t make their mind up or if they are rebranding hoping to revamp? The shop is in an older strip mall off from Glenwood Ave. Inside the area is split up into two areas. The front space that has some seating, the bar, and wine followed by a back room that had half empty shelving for beer. The space itself just was not inviting, we stopped to check it out as we do frequent beer/wine shops. Nothing about it created an atmosphere where I would want to stay and enjoy a drink. Its just very generic. I’m kinda wondering about the other reviews since we did not have the same experience that the other reviews explained…. which also leads me to wondering if they are rebranding and the place used to be just a store and now they are making it into a bar? They did have a nice variety of wines and they labeled the areas well, however, most of it was over the $20 per bottle price point. The beer in the back did not look like anything that I haven’t seen in Harris Teeter, my husband was expecting more on the lines of Pharmacy/House of Hops selection. I’ll check back with them in a few months, maybe the place will be more than a space in a strip mall then?

Spec’s Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods – Menu with Prices – 1434 S Valley Mills Dr, Waco

With the exception of Total Wine, Specs is my favorite store for liquor, beer and wine. Why? Because they never let me down. Always well staffed and no long waits. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I always spend too much because they are always well stocked. Although this is a small location, they have a quality selection of beer and I am very picky about my beer. I drive past Twin Liquor and all the mom n pop liquor spots in Waco to come here. Wish we had them in Ohio.

Maduro Cigar & Bar – Menu with Prices – 7386 S Tamiami Trail, Sarasota

My husband and I just moved to the area and tried the location on University. We have not tried the one in Sarasota by the water. This review is only for the University location.Wow do they need a change!! The location is great with plenty of parking, easy to get to but itâ??s just a really sad place. We were excited to find a bar that served beer and wine and great cigars . We have been to some amazing cigar bars but this is not one unfortunately. The place is too bright. There is no atmosphere at all. There are some chairs and bar stools but the bartender should have stayed home in bed because his sneezing and snorting was such a turn off and we now just hope we hope we donâ??t catch whatever he had. Someone needs to take this over and turn this into a fun, casual, inviting place to relax with a nice cigar, a cold beer or a good glass of wine please! There is so much potential for this to be a cool place for cigar lovers

tM breads and pastries – Menu with Prices – 335 Baronne St, New Orleans

I had the great joy of going to TM yesterday after fantasizing all week about the almond monkey bread. Lucky enough for me, it was before the opening events for the Herbalife convention at the dome which made for a perfect people-watching parade opportunity. The space is nice and clean on the inside with a small-ish bakery window that leaves nothing to the imagination. Everything is laid out so you can pick your pastry after seeing it from nearly every angle. You can literally see every layer of lamination in their strudels and croissants from the window. I stopped short walking down the aisle because I knew before getting there that I only had eyes for the monkey bread. A hand and cheese croissant, monkey bread, latte, and cappucino later (~$20), we were sitting outside at a bistro table watching this strange crowd walk by. The almond monkey bread is everything I dreamt it would be. Yes, you can pull it apart. Yes, it has streusel AND marzipan topping. And yes, of course, it was sooooo moist and fluffy in the middle. Pop that thing in the microwave for 7 seconds and it would’ve been perfect. I knocked off a star because of the price and because of the coffee. $20 for two drinks and two pastries is pretty steep, but I think that’s the downtown tax. The coffee was okay, but I was expecting foamed milk with some latte art and even though our meal was to stay, the coffee came in to go cups which is a little wasteful. I’ll be back to try some other selections for sure.

Misaki Sushi Menu with Prices 2501 Dallas St, Aurora

I dream of Misaki sushi because it truly meets a diner’s demands for high-quality sushi, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Nestled in the Stanley Marketplace, they have a variety of seating which includes tables or at the sushi bar. I highly recommend seating at the sushi bar, so you can talk to the chefs and see how your food is being made. I won’t specifically point out which sushi to get because you can’t go wrong with ANY of them. There are several appetizers that I want to highlight. I love karaage and have had exceptional ones from NYC. The ones served at Misaki can be compared to the ones I’ve had in NYC. The surprise appetizer was their black-cod miso yaki. The cod had been steamed in a miso sauce and it simply melted in my mouth. I didn’t have a single dish I didn’t like. When compared to a well-established and loved sushi place in Denver, I believe Misaki outranks them simply because of the value to quality of the dishes and service I got. Ever since I went, I have convinced any of my friends who want to get sushi to go there!

De Frantic Monkey Café Bar – Menu with Prices – 799 College St #101, Toronto

I was thirsty after having lunch so decided to explore the area a bit and look for a place that had smoothies. I went on Yelp and I saw that De Frantic Monkey bar was highly rated even though it had 6 reviews. I walked in and was greeted by a very nice lady (I later find out that she is the owner) and asked me if I was looking for the drink menu. I originally wanted a fruity smoothie, but I saw the Golden Monkey Chai and the Indian Chai and being the Chai lover I am, I opted for that instead. I didn’t know what the difference was between the two so I asked the lady and she told me one was just normal black tea chai and the Golden Monkey was Chai Latte with Turmeric. I went with the Golden Monkey Chai as that sounded more interesting and it was a great choice! It was sweetened just the right amount and you could taste all the spices. I wished it was even spicier but will definitely go back for this again!

Di Pasquale’s Marketplace Menu with Prices 3700 Gough St, Baltimore

A Baltimore treasure! This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Baltimore. It’s a no-frills, marketplace that has a deli counter to purchase imported meats and cheese, mini wine corner, fresh vegetables, frozen foods, and a small seating area. FOOD: The menu is loaded with traditional Italian options, including pasta, sandwiches, pizza, soups, and salads. There is also a nice selection of refreshments, from their house Sangria to imported Italian beer. I got the Real Italian Sandwich, which was topped with olive oil & vinegar, a special blend of grated cheeses and spices, and red onions. The sweetness of the red onions, the acidity of the vinegar, and the richness of the meats brought the sandwich together. The bread was also freshly made and had a good crunch. Perfection. For dessert, I tried their almond and pignoli cookies, and they were divine. My meal was also balanced nicely with their house wine. I certainly savored and enjoyed every scrumptious bite! SERVICE: The staff is outstanding. I had a great conversation with the owners, and they are lovely. Strongly encourage you to meet them. All in all, if you want to pull off an authentic trip to Italy without leaving Baltimore, come to this marketplace. I can’t wait to try all their items, and I’m just at the beginning of my love affair with Di Pasquale’s. Looking forward to my return visit.

Colorado Sake Co. – Menu with Prices – 3559 Larimer St, Denver

What a hidden gem! This place is tucked away on the farther, “less visited” side of RiNo. It totally deserves more love because the people are nice here. There’s plenty of room to sit and grab a drink. They have a small selection of food. They have board games. They even have paper and instructions for you to try your hand at origami. Best of all it’s a unique concept. Instead of flights of beer you get a flight of sake. It’s not a traditional Japanese sake, so don’t go in expecting that, but it is good and original. Their menu seems to change a lot but here were a few we had: Blueberry Hibiscus – light and refreshing Jalapeno Margarita – perfectly spicy if you’re into that Lychee Nigori – delicious, light and great lychee flavors I don’t see it on the current menu, but the mango and cucumber were also good. if you get the green monster then beware. It’s good, but a little spicy.

Falls Village Wine & Beer – Menu with Prices – 6675 Falls of Neuse Rd #131, Raleigh

When I’m in north Raleigh, I always make sure to stop by Falls Village Wine & Beer for a quick beer or three… or a glass of wine on tap. It’s tucked away behind TJMax & HomeGoods off Falls of Neuse, but don’t let the hidden location deter you – it’s a hidden gem! There’s tons of parking out front, and the inside space is so open & airy. Love the gender neutral bathrooms too, so efficient. OH, and omg I love the wood bartop & glasses they use – you can tell the owner, Jim, put a ton of heart & soul into this place ? the customer service is top notch! You can also bring your own food in or get it delivered, and I think they have food trucks on weekends too. They’ve always got 12-16 rotating craft beer taps, many of them local but others from across the country – and some rare beers too! They’ve got a great selection of beer to go also… and some great bombers for bottle shares. Their wine program is awesome! They’ve got 6-8 wines on tap & the selection is always great! I love their wine tastings too. They always have SUCH a great wine selection – some very affordable, while others are great aged selections I don’t often find in the triangle. I like the way it’s laid out & easy to find everything. All in all, Falls Village Wine & Beer should be at the top of your North Raleigh drinking spots… whether for a work event, solo for a drink with a fun bartender, or takeout wine or beer – FVWB has all you need!

Infinite Soups – Menu with Prices – 445 Tacoma Ave S, Tacoma

This place is fantastic. It’s a humble little space carved out from the side of a dive bar / pool hall. The sidewalk is sketchy. There is no seating, and the lobby is tiny and Spartan. Also, it’s a cash only business. But the soups. My god. The soups are the stuff of legend. I have out of town friends for whom Infinite Soups is the first place they want to go when they get into town. They have soups for everyone. They have creamy soups. They have stews. They have vegan versions of the same, and the menu changes daily. But be warned. They don’t have soup for jerks. This place is a karmic mirror. So if you go there and you get mad at how you didn’t get served, or you got served poorly, that says more about you than it does Infinite Soups.

Local Brew & Belle Vie Menu with Prices 21 Furnace St, Akron

Local Brew is great. It’s in a wonderful location with tons of seating and rotating local beer selections on tap. They also had a nice wine list if beer isn’t really your thing. I was looking at their two pumpkin beers on tap and the bartender was kind enough to give me a sample of both. I fell in love with the Imperial Pumpkin from Thirsty Dog. It’s aged in bourbon barrels and you can tell- the bourbon flavor is strong and delicious. I really appreciated the atmosphere/vibe in this place and would love to go back to watch a football game with a couple of friends and some great beer!
