You cant be a small business in a small town and treat people with disrespect. I walk out of places like these and think “who is the hiring manager or owner? What is their game plan in all of this?” Walked in, was yelled to “be with you in a bit” from the back as a female poked her head from around a corner. Waited I’d say 6 solid minutes before a male came around the same corner and walked up to the cash register. Maybe the dirtiest kid I’ve seen in a long time at a food establishment. Others in my group asked some questions about the specific donuts to which this unshowered employee gave short very unenthused answers. BURDEN is the word I think of when I replay his answers in my head. As if we the customers are a burden to his life? his time? Like people mention in other reviews, the donuts are not very good. Plain and simple they seem older than a donut should be and for the price 100% not worth it. I get the whole idea of “gourmet donuts” but I believe that means putting in the time and effort to reach gourmet status. I wouldn’t go back simply based on the product itself. If that were the only issue I probably wouldn’t have written a review. The fact that this guy was so dirty and disgusting is why I’m writing. Going back to the fact that this is a small business, how did this slip by manager/owners? Are they the same? Is this an ok practice? It’s one thing to be a certain way that you are incapable of changing or are attempting to be better at. It’s another to simply not give a Sh*t. It was clear that he himself didn’t care about the health regulations, his cleanliness, or the customers that were “bothering” him. With a handful of employees I think its safe to say the owner doesn’t seem to care either. This review is not written out of anger or spite. It’s just a matter of fact. Obvious observation that I thought I would share with others. Feel free to go experience this place for yourself, but if you read the opinions of many other people, its probably best you skip this place and find one of the many others.

Cute little private business with an excellent product! Sorry to focus on only the negative here but I’ve been in the food industry for many years and helped open several business so this comes as constructive criticism for the owner. I know how difficult it can be for a small private owner because you want to stick to your guns but you need to LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS and make changes to your business appropriately… they pay your bills. Being prideful will only lose you money and put you out of business.. I’ve seen it before. My biggest and only complaint is about the flow of customers. When you walk in you are brought on a group tour to explain every donut (which while inefficient and time consuming is cute an adds to the small business feel). The problem is that the display case where they show you the donuts is also the counter for transactions so people are standing in the way of the donuts that the employee is trying to describe. The employees awkwardly try to work around and point out donuts that the poor customer trying to pay is standing in front of. It is super cringeworthy. After this I’m promptly helped. The employees were friendly and very nice! However once again people walked in. Maybe 10 people waiting to be helped. The lady (whom I believe to be the owner) brings the large group in front of the display case to tell them about all the wonderful homemade donuts. The problem is now I’m the one paying.. now I have 10 strangers staring at my ass while the owner is describing the big sprinkle donut I’m standing in front of, because she told me this is where I need to go to pay. Even the poor employees looked uncomfortable about the unorganized chaotic and inefficient system put in place. This would have easily been a 5 star visit because the donuts are AMAZING. It’s also a shame because it would be such an easy fix to put up a sign saying “line starts here!” And move the POS to the counter up front so everyone wasn’t in everyone else’s way. Two Boys Donuts Menu with Prices 6400 Holly Ave NE Suite H, Albuquerque

Whether the donuts are good or not, that is something that I will never know and now don’t even care to know. It seems you only care to serve people that can go in the mornings and those of us that work until the late afternoon do not matter at all. I need multiple hands to be able to count how many times I have gone by there in the afternoon after work only to find a SOLD OUT sign on the door and the place closed. If I recall, that was even the case on the day of your grand opening. The one time you were open when I was there a couple hours before close, there was just a few donuts to choose from. Lousy business etiquette!!! There is no donut shop or a bakery that closes early constantly because they run out. You have been open long enough to know what kind of supply you have and yet you continue to only make enough to get you through what appears to be the time you would rather work to until the time your hours indicate you actually close. Every donut places continues to make donuts and keep a supply so there are always donuts available. You have lost my business as well as friends and family and those that I work with before we have even had an opportunity to taste one. Closing early because you have sold out is acceptable once or even twice considering you are new but it seems to have become a regular several times a week pattern and that is not a good message to give to potential or even existing customers. People will eventually stop coming all together because they will just start thinking “why bother, they will probably just be sold out”. I will continue to get my donuts at Amy’s who ALWAYS have a supply of donuts and who ALWAYS have a supply for those of us that can only go after work.

Can’t believe I haven’t written a review for this place! For as many times as we have taken a coffee (and Kolaches, and bacon egg and cheese croissants, and cake donuts, and cinnamon twists, and Bavarian filled donuts) break here… it deserves a review. I give it 4 stars because I have had a couple of kolaches that were a little off-tasting. No one else has ever had this happen to them so it may just be me. But, I just can’t give it the 5 stars because of that …and the reason that they are almost always out of my favorites by 10:30. If yelp would let me I would insert a Sad-faced emoji right here… Other than that…I’m a huge fan and come here weekly

Bagel Factory 2 – Menu with Prices – 2112 Oakheart Rd, Myrtle Beach

Worst experience in a decade for me at any eatery I’ve frequented. Read my other reviews and you’ll see I always give an honest opinion. My folks are retired and live in Carolina Forest. They had a coupon at this establishment for a BOGO free breakfast. I go in one morning in May (the place is dead–a tell tale sign indeed), tell the woman at the counter I have a coupon, she mumbles something under her breath, I tell her I want a bagel sandwich and the free one to be the exact same; with MAJOR NASTY NYC attitude and accent, she tells me to read the sign taped onto the front of the counter. I read it and it says that in order to use the coupon, I have to buy 2 regular priced drinks!!!! I tell her that it doesn’t say that in the coupon (the coupon simply says you buy one breakfast, you get one free—nothing at all about buying 2 drinks anywhere in the coupon) and that I expect them to simply honor what the coupon says. She rudely says no and that if I want to use the coupon, I have to buy the 2 drinks. I say no—we just keep going back and forth—I tell her that it’s false advertising, she says she doesn’t care, that if I want to use the coupon, I have to buy the 2 drinks. I say, if you aren’t going to honor the coupon as it’s written, I’ll just leave and I won’t buy anything (the few people in the joint hear every word of all this)…she says fine. I tell her I won’t be back either and she says she doesn’t care! Unreal experience. I’ve used coupons my whole life and I’ve never, ever, had a business try to add in additional purchases in order to honor a coupon. It’s like going to the Home Depot to use a coupon that says if you buy a charcoal grill you get a bag of charcoal free…you go in and buy the grill and the cashier says, oh, if you want the free bag of charcoal, you also have to buy a 50 dollar grill cover. Wth? Who would be dumb enough to do that? Seriously? No question the lady working the counter is a moron; probably doesn’t care that I’m even on Yelp reporting this. Whatever, I’ll never be back, nor will my folks and my mother said she’ll tell everyone she knows (and she knows a ton of people) to steer clear of the place. I’m from the South originally and have always loved Southern hospitality; this establishment employs rude and obnoxious people that deserve to go out of business, not to mention completely dishonest. If you read other reviews of this craphole, you’ll see that they’ve treated other customers exactly the same. No problem; no shortage of bagel joints with transplanted New Yorkers/New Jerseyites that know how to make a good bagel. In fact, there’s a competitor just up the road on Postal Way called Jersey Bagels right there in Carolina Forest. I’ll gladly give them my money as they are honest and have manners. This joint here, Bagel Factory II can stick it!!!

Dk’s Donuts – Menu with Prices – 2610 W Edinger Ave, Santa Ana

-10 We go at random times and noticed that they touch money dont wash hands to touch food…for example I went today at 3am and there wad a guy cleaning and the chinese baker/owner was baking donuts then touched money then went straight to touching the donuts…we all saw him through the window ewww!! When I wanted to buy a drink I said politely…you should wash your hands before you touch food…he said I have a towel in the back for that…then I said no you dont we all saw you…then he got mad and said no I have a towel for that and walked away yelling that they are just donuts!! Wtf??? I guess he dosent care for customers health… For all I know we are eating donuts touched with prostitute money!!!!

Ann’s Donuts – Menu with Prices – 4021 N Marks Ave, Fresno

We have been visiting in Fresno for 4 days and we’re lucky enough to find Ann’s Donuts. The owner and his wife are hard working people with warm, welcoming personalities. The donuts they make, every morning at 3:00am are the freshest and most delicious we’ve ever had and we know our donuts…lol Once you taste their donuts you’ll keep going back for more!!

Wassi’s Meat Market – Menu with Prices – 830 N Wickham Rd #10, Melbourne

I have been doing business with Wassi’s Meat Market for 4 years. There is another well known meat market in town and I used them for a year until I stumbled upon Wassi’s. Wassi’s simply has higher quality meat than other markets Let me ask you, the reader of this review something. Do you like top quality meat that is some of the best you can buy at a great price? Of course you do! But do you prefer to do business with people that will become just another vendor you do business with or do you, like myself prefer to do business with nice people, people that genuinely like you, care that you are happy with your purchase and always have a smile on their face? Wassi’s is family owned and they are truly some of the nicest people you will ever meet. You can also buy a Big Green Egg from them and they throw in a good deal of meat when you buy one so you are already saving money! This is a AAA+ business in Melbourne and one you can build a long and happy relationship with like hundreds of families in Melbourne and the surrounding area have. But best yet is not being their customer but their friend.

I will change this review once I get some answers. Me and a some friends (10 people) Were about to Scrimage here for a test out but when we rolled in today at 10/08/18 The place was closed. We thought it was because it was columbus day so just to make sure we called the Owner. Instead of the Owner some other guy picked up and told me I got the wrong number. There needs to be a phone number outside your door or atleast a piece of paper stating you are there or not. I came in 2 weeks ago and again it was also close. PLEASE RESPOND ASAP I am Planning a LAN party and I can not do it if you’re not open 24/7 as you have promised thanks

El Paraiso Salvadoreno #2 – Menu with Prices – 974 Kendall Dr, San Bernardino

I just want to write a review regarding their customer service here, which is beyond horrible. The lady who works up at the front and takes the customer orders and claims to be the manager. I don’t understand how she is the manager due to her unprofessional attitude. I called to complain and she answered and she stated she was the manager and she didn’t take my complain seriously and was also rude to me. I simply wanted to complain about the service they provided my family with. I really don’t know how they can run a business being so rude and unprofessional. Time and time again, I give them the benefit of the doubt but enough is enough. I will no longer go back and support a business that treats their customers so rudely. I would urge customers not to come because they would be treated like they don’t matter and there are also other good food spots in the area. I’m not the first to complain nor the last but I simply write here on yelp so my voice could be heard. I don’t like to leave negative reviews but this was necessary. I hope they take the measures that are necessary to create a better atmosphere for their customers.

It’s that time of year again! Chanukah! And we love going to royal donuts for the freshest and best donuts! For Chanuka they set up a corner in their factory for retail sales of all sorts of different donuts and fillings, they even have a chocolate fountain with toppings that you can dip/decorate your own donut and you get to it eat!

Poki Run Fremont – Menu with Prices – 2670 Mowry Ave, Fremont

Tried this out for the first time, and I would never come back again. A woman by the name of Sunny helped me at the register and was extremely rude. She visibly appeared upset with me as she shook her head and scoffed because I was indecisive about my order. I tried to explain to her where I was coming from, as I am on a new diet in which I am still processing what I can and cannot eat, and she ignored me. I then asked for her name, and she didn’t respond to me. I asked for her name again, still no response. For the third time, I asked her for her name, and she finally responded, in the the rudest way possible. Unfortunately this woman not only lacks customer service, but she also lacks compassion. A trait that I believe is extremely important when running a business. It would be difficult to purchase from and support a local business that allows a woman to be rude to its customers? She is also hostile and creates tension . Before this happened, she outwardly scolded her co-worker for not charging a woman $1.50 for the fine egg (that price isn’t noted ANYWHERE in the store, btw). It was a bit awkward to watch. This happened on July 19 around noon. I am writing this review because people do not deserve to be treated in this way. I saw how she treated her workers and it was quite upsetting. If you want to have a horrible customer service experience, come to Poki Run. You will definitely receive just that from Sunny. In regards to the other workers who helped me (younger girl and boy), thank you for being kind and patient with me. Considering how pricey this place is combined with its lack of customer service, I would try to avoid this place as much as possible until they actively do something to improve their customer service. *UPDATE* earlier I asked her if she was the owner of the store, in which she replied to me no and that she wasn’t. I called the store later in the day, and I was told that she IS in fact the owner. Someone needs to put this lady out of business already

Aviva by Kameel Menu with Prices 225 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta

Ordered: falafel platter with 3 sides ($11) Ambience: inside the Peachtree center. very busy lunch place Review: a little pricey but good quality food. I must have written a review on this spot in the past. So Aviva is a family run business. Kameel is the original chef and you’ll see him walking around attending to customers. His customer service and unique business style really put this spot on the map of ATL. He remembers his customers name, brings out samples for folks to try. Everyday the line wraps around the shop during lunch hours. Its fresh and flavorful food. Falafel are deeply fried but you don’t feel the excess oil. It reheats well the elme the day which tells you it’s fresh. The falafel sizes are decent. Lentil soup – there are many variations of it depending on the day. I am a huge fan of lentil. Now if you’ve never had lentil soup before, you gotta try it at Aviva (and Sababa at Dunwoody). It’s got right amount of spices infused in the soup and it’s not spicy. Cream and spinach is actually very creamy. Has a good salt balance and it tastes smooth. As samples we got his blueberry muffins (delicious) and fresh watermelon. That took care of desert. Make a trip to Aviva. It’s worth it!
