New aussie vibe in the city of Frisco with cute Koala logo to represent! My first experience was pretty awesome. Perfect for savory brunch and coffee fanatics! I usually try hot beverage for any new cafe that uses new roasts but the day was way too hot for me to do it. Food: 4.5/5 The potato gnocchi and special linguini me and my friends ordered were bomb! The side salad had sweet, tangy flavor which went with rest of food very well. Savory, natural, and perfect portion. Loved the presentation. beverage wise, Iced long black coffee was smooth/slightly sour which I prefer most of time. I also ordered savory muffin which I took it home. I got 2 salsa that i can pour or dip. It was way crumbling but I think I will like the best when i have poached egg over this muffin and pour the salsa on it! it will make my savory muffin experience top notch. Atmosphere: 5/5 Cute interior with white/wood/clear glasses. Gives a cozy, clean feel. Got a couple of group sittings and I have seen mothers with strollers. The layout doesn’t feel too clustered even though the area is relatively small to serve both coffee and food. Probably early morning will give a more cafe vibe than after 11am. It is pretty busy place to enjoy a cup of coffee or dessert alone after 11am Service: 4.5/5 Everybody was super nice, attentive, and courteous. You don’t just meet your waitress but you meet all the people who work there while you wait for food. I took one star off for service because me and my friend had to wait approx. 50 min to get food in front of us. The venue wasn’t full when we got there but it filled up pretty quickly. I do understand we came in busy time and we have flexibility in our job, but maybe for other people who have only an hour to have lunch would be in a rush. This place closes at 2pm so definitely come with some flexibility! I recommend this place to everybody!!! I will visit again for sure. Thank you mate!

Fairfax Bakery – Menu with Prices – 11211 Lee Hwy J, Fairfax

Out of the ashes of My Favorite Muffin comes a bakery serving muffins so fresh, so delicious, you will find it really hard to resist. Unfortunately, My Favorite Muffin is no more, as the previous owner sold the business to other people. As a result they are not part of the My Favorite Muffin corporation, but the muffins are still similar to what you would expect to see at a My Favorite Muffin cafe. The new cafe may not have the punch card this one had, but the service is better! I was greeted by a cute George Mason University student who could not have been more knowledgeable and helpful concerning what I wanted. Yes, I love muffins. I got a full box of nine to go, plus a banana. All the muffins look plump, fresh, and cooked to perfection. No attacking the previous ownership, but while I loved their muffins, once you ate the tops, the “stumps”, or the bottom portion of the muffin, was hit or miss when it came to how done it looked. I just ate two of them, their Oreo and Blueberry flavor. The Oreo is fantastic! Chunks of Oreo cookie in every bite. The Blueberry one was decent, but a bit too dense and rich in the fruit. Maybe this one is one to avoid next time. There is more to be tried, but I can tell they are going to be fun to eat over and over again. Hooray for good muffins! Out of the darkness and into the light.

L’Or en Grain – Boutique de Café – Menu with Prices – 751 Rue Rachel E, Montréal

Hands down probably the best coffee I’ve ever heard. A very cute independent coffee shop that has the best beans from South America and Canada and other places. They have a dedicated area for Canadian coffee and it’s labelled from which city it’s from. They have all kinds of tools, machines and coffee makers available at your disposal. I walked around to see what they were specific to. There’s beautiful posters and paintings decorated. Unfortunately they have 2 very very small tables in such a spacious cafe. You can sit on the high chairs at the register. However, it would be nice if they incorporated more sitting space available. The barista explained the different coffees available and why they are different. Upon his recommendation I ordered the chocolate pour-over. It was excellent! Very strong coffee, to the point I was up way past midnight! I added milk, no sugar and it was perfect. I tried my friends fruit coffee pour over and I didn’t like it, nor did they. I finished my fairly large mug, whereas they couldn’t. It was nice to watch the process of the coffee being made. Really enjoyed it. Again, not enough chairs to sit and enjoy the coffee which is primarily why it loses a star.

Fulton Street Coffee – Menu with Prices – 2015 Tuolumne St, Fresno

Just to put it simply, I drive 30+ minutes from Visalia to Fresno just for Fulton Street and drive straight back. They use V60’s for pour overs, being able to bring out more of the brightness in the coffee and their lattes don’t disappoint, their mochas are amazing and for those of you guys normally gravitating towards sweeter drinks I’d recommend having the cafe con leche. The cafe con leche is just like a regular latte but has a cinnamon infused simple syrup. Their espresso is delicious and have never had a shot not dialed in correctly from them. This wouldn’t be one of the best places to sit down and do homework, but it’s perfect to sit down and enjoy your cup of coffee with or without a friend. Their customer service is adequate, I have not had a bad experience nor a particularly out of this world experience with their customer service. They can take a little bit of a longer time to get your drink out, but just know the wait is well worth it!

Sunnyside Cup – Menu with Prices – 3008 Broad St, Chattanooga

Oh I’ve wanted to drive thru Sunnyside Cup forever! Being that I get to work at 5a typically, I haven’t been able to get there. Well this morning I had to go to one of my offsite locations and was able to get over there. So cute! It’s a tiny little trailer just over the bridge just in to St Elmo. The fact that there were 3 people in that tiny trailer was astonishing. Didn’t look like anyone moved from their assigned station. LOL. I ordered a mocha coffee and a banana nut muffin. The coffee was yummy and chocolatey and hot. Very smooth. Just what I needed for the hour drive to my destination. The muffin seemed fresh baked and and some good depth to it. I would have liked it a bit more dense and a little more nutty, but it was still good and helped coat the tummy. I hope I can get by there again, and you should too!

Methodical Coffee – Menu with Prices – 101 N Main St, Greenville

It is a honest struggle not to let personal anticipation skew an experience. I have been following Methodical Coffee for at least three years now. I see the pictures of lattes, pastries, beautiful Autumn mornings in the city. So when the opportunity to visit in person came about, I fought to not get giddy with excitement. But I still did. That can be dangerous, as one who loves coffee much as parent their newborn child. When I ordered pour over coffee and a rose petal, olive oil, and almond muffin I expected perfection. And perfection is exactly what came out on the Blue Willow China. As I sat there, watching individuals walk by and feeling the flirting of a cool breeze upon my face, I found myself breathing more slowly. I wanted every drop of coffee to touch my tongue, every petal atop the muffin to reach my taste buds. I desired for time to pause so I could make note of the artistic aroma, presentation, and flavors in front of me. But alias, it did not. I left there longer for a soon return.

Bitty & Beau’s Coffee – Menu with Prices – 4949 New Centre Dr, Wilmington

This is the cutest local chain coffee shop there ever was! I am in love with a good coffee, but a good coffee with a mission behind it? Sign. Me. Up. Not only is the vibe exactly what I want in a coffee shop, it’s got good coffee. Bonus! This one is a little hard to find because you look like you’re going to go and buy a Cadillac at first then you realize the coffee shop is next door. Once you figure out you don’t need to purchase a car you can breathe easy and get your heart pumping on caffeine. This space is so clean, bright, and white. I want to sit on my computer and work all day in there. The employees are the nicest and so upbeat. I ordered a chocolate muffin and a brown sugar cinnamon iced latte with almond milk (no soy). The coffee was good – too sweet for my taste but the name sounds sweet so I get what I asked for. I am interested in buying some coffee beans once I’m ready for more and can’t wait to brew it in the pour over!

French Truck Coffee – Menu with Prices – 650 Poydras St Suite 102, New Orleans

I am not a â??coffee aficionado or expert, I just know what I want and what I love. Anyway, before we start walking around the beautiful Garden District, we stopped by at this coffee shop. We ordered Iced Mocha Latte, Oji drip Iced Coffee, â??and a â??muffin. Iced Mocha – This is my usual order in any new coffee shop that I visit, it becomes my baseline. For this particular location, their Mocha Latte is different from other Mocha Latte that I have tried. The combination of mocha and espresso give this sour taste, I think the roast of the bean is light to medium with fruity undertone which I don’t mind but not my favorite. They also put a lot of ice, but I think you can just ask them for less ice. Oji Drip Iced Coffee – The process of making this coffee is a separate attraction which you can see over the counter. The coffee itself tastesâ?? like a combination of some kind â??of tea and fruit flavor, truly not in my alley but it was a â??refreshing taste for the summer heat. Muffin – I totally forgot the name, but the softness and deliciousness of it stayâ?? with me. It was just a â??perfect pick-me-up muffin. Space – They do have a good amount of tables and chairs, where you can hang out with your friends, working, studying or just people watching. All in all, it was an okay experience, coffee was refreshing not my favorite but the muffin was amazing. I recommend to give them a try, you will have your coffee fix and an Instagramâ?? post.

Lineage Coffee Roasting – Menu with Prices – 3201 Corrine Dr, Orlando

Lineage is a staple at East End Market. For me it’s the best coffee in town. The first pour-over coffee I ever had was at Lineage and I don’t think I ever really knew that coffee could be better than what I had grown accustomed to until I had a pour-over here. It’s not close to me whatsoever but I will drive 20 min out of my way on occasion just to get coffee here. As far as quality, I’ve never been disappointed. The people that work here are always on point and friendly and I can honestly say that I’ve never been disappointed. Now, the line can get long and some cups can take longer than others especially the pour-over but consequently, the quality is never in question nor is the effort to provide a qaulity cup of coffee. I highly recommend Lineage to any coffee connoisseurs, you won’t be disappointed.

Tree Story Bakery & Cafe – Menu with Prices – 2550 Pleasant Hill Rd #415, Duluth

Overall…a pleasant place to get some work done or meet up with friends! I first came to this cafe years ago. I vaguely remember anything about it then, but I’m glad I decided to stop in after almost a decade. We needed a place to study and get some stuff done so we decided to give this place a shot. A cute establishment with plenty of seats and cute baked goods I’m definitely looking forward to planning meet ups with friends here! Service: the cashiers can speak both Korean and English. So no worries feeling intimidated by a language barrier with these lovely ladies. The bakery portion of the store is a “serve yourself” style as it is with any other Korean bakery. Most of their baked goods are prepackaged, so you can just grab whichever ones you want and load them up on the basket they have up at the front for you. Only other baked goods you might need assistance with is probably the cakes and such, since they are kept behind the glass cases to keep cool. Food/Drinks: I haven’t tried everything at this bakery, but from the few stuff picked up I was impressed with how fresh and moist the baked goods are. The drinks are pretty good and the coffee seems popular as almost all the patrons had ordered coffee for themselves. The prices tend to run a little higher, but this is only because the baked goods are made in house. Since I wasn’t feeling coffee I ordered a Iced Honey Plum tea, usually made hot, I personally just prefer it cold. It was served to me with light ice, which I didn’t even have to ask for. The drink was actual too sweet so I think they put too much of the tea syrup into the drink. I had to wait for the ice to melt down so it would water down the drink a bit. We also ordered the Black Milk tea, where apparently it can be ordered thicker like a smoothie or served with ice. We decided to just do the ice and it was pretty okay. 4/5- because it’s a decent spot to meet up with friends or study. There are limited outlets, so I would recommend maybe bringing an extension cord. This place is always filled with patrons stopping in for a quick pick me up and meeting up with friends. But for the most part, everyone is in and out so if you’re just willing to wait a few minutes a table should open up. A cute addition they have is that they have a small bookcase up at the front to allow patrons to read. There seems to be a good mix of books in Korean and English so it’s definitely a unique feature.

Jubilee Roasting Co. Menu with Prices 1452 Kenton St, Aurora

My boyfriend and I were recently in Aurora for the first time and wanted coffee/tea, so we ended up at Jubilee. The inside is super cute and was very busy; they also have outside seating. Between the two of us we ordered the ham&cheese croissant, cinnamon bun muffin, chai tea latte, coffee, and a specialty drink (I can’t remember the name). Food: The croissant and muffin were good – good sizes and tasty. Definitely get them both heated, although if you are sitting outside on an October morning they will get cold quickly. Drinks: I am not a coffee drinker, but my boyfriend said that this is probably the best coffee he’s ever had… and he drinks a lot of coffee! They have an option to do a bottomless mug if you plan to stay there, which is definitely the route to go. He did not do that and regretted it shortly after, so he ended up going back in to get the bottomless. I got the chai latte w/oat milk. Their chai is on the milkier side rather than spicy, but it is still delicious! The specialty drink I got was called the Camp Dance or something like that – a mix of chai and apple cider and spices steamed together. It is SO good and the perfect fall drink!! We love Jubilee so much we wanted to go back, but it is closed on Sundays.

The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. Menu with Prices 22191 Powerline Rd, Boca Raton

Unbelievable how quickly Brooklyn Water Bagel stores have gone downhill. The increased level of incompetence with the staff and lack of cleanliness is mind-blowing. This morning, I asked for one kind of muffin and a coffee. The coffee station had spilled coffee all over the counter and along the floor in front of the containers. Two of the coffee containers were empty. Then going over to get cream and sugar, there is sugar all over the counter as well as more spilled cream and something else on the floor as well. Last portion of the rant, I get to my office with my brown bag that’s holding my muffin. I open the bag to enjoy my muffin at my desk and it’s a completely different muffin than what I asked for! Are you kidding? If the muffin weren’t incredibly dry and tasteless, I might not be as upset, but this thing was horrible. Thanks, BWB….you just lost another local customer.

Legends Coffee and Cafe – Menu with Prices – 25707 Westheimer Pkwy, Katy

Such a cool environment! This is Katy’s hottest new cafe. You have to check it out for yourself! They sell coffee, cafe food, pastries & even ice cream. Then they also have live music on certain days. They also have a super nice patio with the big swing chairs. I ordered a Caesar salad and man it was so good and tasted fresh! They also have the keto bulletproof coffee if you’re into that! You have to come and try out this place. Oh and for all the families out there they have a super awesome kid section for them to sit play and read in. Oh and a changing table! They do kid book readings on Thursday’s at 11am. Overall awesome place, great service. 10/10 recommend
