I always like trying out new places. That day my friends and I chose to go to the Atmosphere. What I’ve experienced? there was ambiguous?. As for the interior?, it’s very basic, nothing special at all. When we came in, there were a lot of people and it was busy. Although I’m a pretty understanding? person, waiters were not really paying attention to us. Then a waitress finally came up to our table. I can’t tell that she was rude, she just didn’t care about us at all (we asked her to get us glasses for our drinks, then we waited for some time, she passed our table like 20 times but didn’t pay any attention at all, so we asked another waiter for glasses?). When we got our food, it looked delicious?. But when I started eating my fries, I found a fried chicken? feather! I was absolutely disgusted? and I showed it ?to a waiter. He replaced my fries but unfortunately,? I could not eat anymore. I don’t? think I would ever visit the Atmosphere again, customer service is questionable? and I don’t? even want to imagine what’s going on inside the kitchen if something like a chicken? feather can get into your meal.

First Watch – Durham – Menu with Prices – 5307 New Hope Commons Blvd Ext, Durham

Probably the rudest waiter i’ve ever had, middle-of-the-road food couldnt save the poor service. Decided to go somewhere new on saturday morning. Coming into the restaurant we were received with a mild greeting and seated. Our waiter arrived and asked what we’d like to drink. No welcome, no greeting, if there were specials we didnt hear about them, he did not even give his name. Because i dont have his name I can only say that he was working 7/6/19 at some point between 12 and 2 pm, was tall, overweight, slicked back short black curly hair, and he had a face like he didnt want to be there. he was waiting tables in the booth area near the windows away from the front door. We ordered our drinks, hot cocoa for them and I order sweet tea. He came back a few minutes later and wordlessly dropped them on the table, the water glasses were on the table, they remained unfilled. I was with my wife, mother-in-law and her aunt, english is not their first language and they are very picky eaters. They spent about 5 minutes reading the menu before he came by and asked what we were ordering.. I look over and my mother in law is literally in the process of squinting at the menu when he asks us this.. My wife is still reading a menu and her aunt still has one in her face as well.. no one had a menu on the table, no one was staring around idly, no one flagged him down, in no way shape or form was there a cue for him to ask us our order.. dude didnt even ask if we needed more time or had questions.. because theyre foreign theyre often uncomfortable ordering food, my wife hurries both of them through the menu while the waiter essentially stands there with an irritated demeanor and toe-taps. he takes the order and hes gone. I couldnt follow his interactions with the other tables but they didnt look like they were any better. what makes it worse is he didnt seem all that busy or rushed, while that doesnt excuse his behavior, it would have at least made it understandable. our drinks ran out and shortly after, our food arrived and it was pushed onto our table. if there was a utensil, cup, hand, cell phone, purse, whatever on the table, it was shoved out of the way by a plate.. at this point it was comical how much this dude did not give a damn. the plates were shoved onto the table and he was gone. The hot cocoa cups were empty, the water glasses still werent filled, and my tea was just ice. No drink refills, no mid-meal check up. He came by, asked if we would be splitting our check and that was the last of him. oh yeah, i forgot about the food.. Overall the food was “okay” but completely forgettable.. hell, ill only remember this place cause the waiter was a terrible host..

Loyal Hound – Menu with Prices – 730 St Michaels Dr, Santa Fe

This place used to be fantastic, and now is mediocre at best. Our waiter mentioned they recently got new owners, which likely explains this discrepancy. During our visit, the service was good, but our food was not. My wife ordered the chicken and waffles and the chicken was clearly undercooked. Our waiter assured us that it was cooked to temp and that the raw middle was, ?remaining coloration from the brine they use?. We are huge foodies and know the difference between poultry being brined or undercooked. It was obvious that the chicken was still raw in the center (based on appearance AND texture when she bit into the center ) . Hopefully she does not fall ill from this experience. Rather than making this right, our waiter basically disagreed with us (even though he never really looked at the chicken)! To be fair, a new piece of chicken was brought out, but by this point she was so disgusted she could not eat. Plus the rest of the plate was tainted by the raw chicken and this was not replaced, so it was truly just a piece of chicken. This was unacceptable and far below the standard we came to enjoy with the previous ownership. Would not recommend nor will we be coming back!!! Very disappointed with the experience.

Buffalo Wild Wings Menu with Prices 3316 Coffee Rd, Bakersfield

Went here for my sons birthday. Left not very happy and probably wont return. First they stuck us outside in a corner away from everyone else. Our server came to our table and got everyone at my table drink orders but mine. He ran off as I tried to get his attention. He returned 10 min later with our drinks and realized he forgot to ask me. (At this point not a big deal) I ordered a side salad expecting to come before my meal. We recieved our meals. I had to remind them about the fries my son ordered and my salad. The server brought the fries and salad 10 min later. The salad had the wrong dressing. I had to wait to see another employee 15min later to tell them about the dressing. The waiter apologized and said he would get me the right dressing. 20 min went by without seeing another employee. By this time I was finished with my meal except my salad. Finally the waiter comes and ask if everything was ok. I explained to him about the situation with the salad and told him that I would not be eating it and would not be paying for it. As for the other food. As everyone knows they are known for their wings. I dont know why, they were dry and over cooked. The carrots and celery looked as if they have been sitting out since Monday. The coleslaw had no flavor. Needless to say this is not a place I would recommend to anyone. Overpriced KFC wings. Good luck if you decide to take the chance. I hope your experience is better then mine.

The Seafood Pier – Menu with Prices – 9169 Kingston Pike, Knoxville

We only had the fried shrimp & fried oysters, so review is a little thin. Greeted & seated promptly. Our waiter was polite and friendly but – a little peeve of mine – he seated himself at the adjoining table while he took our order. And had to request more water, even though the glasses were clear and obvious we needed more. The fried offerings supposedly came with fries, but tonite slaw was also available; it was horseradish-y but fresh. The fried shrimp were good, not overcooked, and large quantity. The fried oysters were a disappointment …WAY too much breading and didn’t taste fresh – although the portion size was large. All the fried options were reasonably priced. The guys at another table were digging in to some of the boiled options and seemed to be enjoying themselves. For boiled food, the waiter brings out rubber gloves and the food is in big plastic bags to dump onto your paper-covered table. Prices were stiff but you’re given a small & large alternative of each. Might have to return to try the boiled…done with the fried, though.

URBAN, Restaurante – Menu with Prices – 18505 NW 75th Pl, Hialeah

So my review is a bit mixed, but ill keep it short. The place: A Wynwood in Miami lakes, modern, clean and cute. The food: When we speak of the food itself, just that, the food is great and worth going back for. HOWEVER: The service we received was terrible and the reason why we haven’t returned in the past 2 years, and probably never will. I would like to think the waiter was new, but based on how the night went, I can tell it was the waiter and the management. First we ordered beer, it was HOT, who serves/drinks HOT beer? Upon complaining, they said there was nothing they could do…. ok.. I guess? Then we ordered our food. I ordered a hamburger and my boyfriend said that he wanted a chicken sandwich, which the girl said “oh youd like XYZ sandwich then” and he agreed to her “chicken sandwich” suggestion. We wait for our food about 30-40mins, which is quite a while considering they were simple foods. My burger was great, I had a mushroom and cheese hamburger. This came with waffle fries which were surprisingly great (I dont like waffle fries) and it was all very good with me. My boyfriends “chicken sandwich” ended up being a FISH sandwich, which he cannot eat. We asked our waiter if we could please return it as we had not ordered this sandwich. Instead of comprehending and moving on, she decided to argue with us and tell us that we had given her the wrong name of the dish… like really? we told you the type of food and YOU suggested the name, yet its our fault? really? after arguing with us, she took it back and got his order (all with an attitude). I was almost done with my meal when he received his. AGAIN! she took his order wrong! AGAIN, we ask for it to be returned. This time we did not want to replace our order. Instead we asked to speak to the manager. After arguing with us AGAIN, she ran off to her manager. The manager comes back, and we expected some form of apology, not a free meal nor anything else, just an apology. NOPE, the manager was just as difficult to speak too and didnt take responsibility for the experience nor his employee. In the end, my boyfriend didnt get eat and we were charged for my food and the beers.

Aburi Sushi & Ramen – Menu with Prices – 735 E Green St, Pasadena

Now I can finally write a review for this place after coming here three times. I had both good AND bad experience so let me just start out by saying your experience may depend on the day of your visit. My very first time at Aburi was with my best friend. She and I had a great dinner doing AYCE even though no server has informed us about how only 5 orders will be served first or whatever they call this policy. Second time, I went with my Mom. Since I have gone to other Aburi location in Long Beach and also here with my bestie, I thought I knew what was going on. My server named ‘Lily’ was very unprofessional. After filling out my order sheet, I handed to her and she told me about the 5 orders thing and not knowing what it was, I told her last time I was here I wasnt told that but its fine, it is what it is. Then she tried to argue with me in a very annoying tone so I was like whatever. Then she goes off telling me that NONE of the COLLARS are available (Salmon & Yellowtail). So I said its fine. It was just her attitude, tone of her voice and behavior that made me so irritated. She didnt look serious and looked very nonchalant. Before getting my orders, another server comes and explains to me about Lily’s actions and re-explained to me about the 5 order policy and so I clearly told her I wasnt too fond of way she delivered the message; unprofessional. Later, I got some of my orders then I see both Salmon and Yellowtail collars coming my way. I told the new server that ‘Lily’ told me you guys dont have any collars available and now I see both on my table. She said ‘she meant to say we have limited supply’ Um, excuse me? I know how to write and speak English. She CLEARLY told me she did NOT have it. She didnt mention anything about limited supply or whatever though I was aware because it says it on the order sheet. I was just so sick of everything from then on. So my second experience was crappy as ever so I decided to come again with my Boyfriend to finalize my thoughts before giving them a review. My third time was again so-so. My server was just fine. But it was the FOOD that was below par. My Boyfriend and I ordered 2 orders of sashimi (Salmon and Seared Tuna) and did not receive it after we received all of our orders for the first round. We also did not get any collars. I asked the server to check and a bit later, one of the collars came as salmon collar was not available. Our 2 sashimi came out with the Yellowtail Sashimi added during second round and so ALL of our sashimi came out at the same time. I belive it was Yellowtail Sashimi. Boyfriend took a piece to eat and later I looked at the plate to grab, I SEE A HAIR. A SHORT CURLY HAIR (please see attached picture with this review). I was disgusted. With the disappointing experience I had before, everything was unpleasant and started double checking all the foods left on the table for any hair or things that SHOULDNT be there. I called the server to let him know. He literally said, ‘oh sh!t’ and asked if I wanted a new one. My Boyfriend wanted it so I said yes. Other than that, no apology of any kind was made to my table. Again, this is very unprofessional. I dont want to stereotype but almost ALL asian owned businesses lack sooooooo much professionalism handling situations like this. Gross. I didnt want free food. All I wanted was an apology or a ‘statement’ from the manager but absolutely nothing! So that sums up all my dining experiences (3) here at Aburi. Extremely disappointed in lacking professionalism displayed by servers or even the management. Food hygiene is definitely a BIG issue. No parking available as street parking (1 hr) is the only option I believe. I was hoping to enjoy here at Aburi but since the first visit, it has been DOWNHILL. Such a disappointment. Done.

Rob’s Wicked Chicken & Wedges – Menu with Prices – 466 Horton St E, London

Had to charge my car and found this place by accident. What an amazing discovery. As you may have read in some of my previous reviews, I have a soft spot for family run businesses and this is no exception. Rob and his wife and son were all so accommodating and kind. You can fee the love in their food. This used to be a Mary Browns but have left the chain to go off in their own to perfect fried chicken. And perfect they did. Had the Big Wicked sandwich. And wow is it ever wickedly awesome. The fries were amazing. Hand chopped and fried. So so fresh. Had the Macaroni salad too. Wow. You can taste the freshness. Sat there feeling so content and the owner was sitting with his family at the next table eating the same chicken. I was so impressed that their own family (including the mother in law) all sat there eating the same food we were eating. We started chatting in friendly talk and told him how much we loved the food. You can tell Rob takes great pride in his product so he got up and said “wait here a few minutes”. He comes back with some fresh fried chicken hand battered for us on the spot. Oh my gosh was it so good. The middle of the breast was moist and flavourful. Bathed in his signature “wicked sauce” that was literally “finger licking great!” He is such a nice man and a warm family. I noticed he greeted everyone personally and thanked them for coming. Customer service: 5/5 Experience: 5/5 Quality: 5:5 Will I repeat? Absolutely Do I recommend: Absolutely If you are ever in the London area stop here to try their fried chicken. Was the best fried chicken I have ever eaten in my life. No joke.

Rheas Hot Links – Menu with Prices – 201-229 South Oakland Avenue, 204 S Fannin Ave, Tyler

Well today, I went to hot link place for my husband to take to his job. Normally the ladies are great always. But, we have noticed the last 3 visits havnt been that plesant from just (1) employee. But, we will still speak but her attitude us nonchalant. Anyway, today she came to window, didnt speak, and I ordered. Then came back gave me price and I gave her my card. Told her the chip doesn’t work as I handed to her. She looked at me, and still took it. About 5mins later, she comes back and says, my card dont work. Well, 1st of all, it works fine but the reason I told her in advance is for her to do it as credit or without chip usage. Anyway, i told her, I will give her cash. She handed her hand out for my cash, but still had my debit card. I told her to give my card 1st, then I gave her a $50 bill. She took a min and came back with $26 change. I looked at her funny and asked where my receipt she said since I didnt pay with card, I cant get a receipt. I asked how much was it again, she looked at me with a attitude and said, its right. $13 from $50 is $26 and I told her its incorrect and then she shut window on me and started talking to other worker. I bought 14 links, which she gave him the smallest links in there and a strawberry fanta, no ice. Maybe she gaving a bad day. But, lately she has acted this way. Idk way, i haven’t done anything to her and idk her either well. I drove around to front door, went in with food and money. Told the smaller dark lady, who is always sweet and she asked what i bought, told her and still that lady tried to say, 50-13=26, and thats what i gave you. Well, im not dumb, but I know how to count. So instead of arguing, i pulled out my phn to calculator, then she hurried up and said, or yea..I owe you $10. Laid it on counter and walked away. I told my hubby when i took him the food and he tut old me to report it. He said, he was proud of me, cause normally i goes off about my money. But, I have grown alot and tries to be better. She still had a attutude, vut you tried to CHEAT ME, but mad at me. I dont get that. How many people does, she do like this daily that she THINKS, DONT COUNT THEIR MONEY. My husband is bad about not counting his, but I DONT PLAY LIKE THAT. He eats at Rheas at least weekly, and before he had his seizures last yr. He ate 3 times a week faithfully on lunch break of after work. Smh at her.

Grover’s Fingers & Wings – Menu with Prices – 9418 N Davis Hwy, Pensacola

So we just came to Grovers for lunch. We have always enjoyed the food until today. While eating a chicken finger I found a long black hair in my food. .which is now in my mouth! I took it up to the counter on my plate and was offered another plate! Nothing else was done. When I asked to speak to the manager, a man told me he wasnt really the manager but what could he do to help. I explained the situation and he said he was sorry but didnt his wife ask if she could cook me something else. No she did not but sorry if I dont feel like eating anything else now, as I am sick to my stomach from having someone elses hair in my mouth! He said well you seem hostile and I said yes because I paid $30 for food I couldn’t eat. He said I don’t know what to do, this has only happened like 2 times before. I told him a partial refund or a voucher for future use. He said I would love to buy you dinner but I don’r have any cards or anything to give you. So basically I have to take his word that IF I go back I MIGHT get my dinner replaced. (He could’ve written it on a freaking napkin!) I wish I had paid with my credit card because I would’ve disputed the charge! I even said you can look at the camera and see me pull it out of mouth and he said they don’t really work! Good thing there are plenty of other places to eat. They are good but if this is how they deal with sanitary issues…nope I would rather not take the chance!

JERUSALEM Shawarma And Grill – Menu with Prices – 802 Exeter Rd, London

I felt compelled to submit a complaint about unsafe food handling at Jerusalem Shawarma after my disgusting experience. We ordered two shawarma sandwiches, one was a combo that came with fries and a drink, as well as hummus dip, all for takeout. We had already driven off then realized they had forgotten our hummus dip so we turned back. After having waited so long for our food, we were annoyed that we had to turn back around. Because the kids were hungry, I wanted to give them fries in the meantime. I opened the container and immediately saw a used bandaid inside. I was absolutely disgusted!! We went back and I told them they had forgotten our hummus but more importantly showed them the used bandaid inside the container of fries. They apologized; their excuse was that the other cook was new, but I no longer wanted anything to do with them. I left the food on the counter, asked for my money back and left. Upset that we had to go back because of the forgotten hummus, but absolutely DISGUSTED, REVOLTED and PISSED about that used bandaid inside the fries!! What a waste of time, such a terrible experience. I submitted a formal complaint to the health unit, because this is unacceptable, unsafe food practice.

Old Gilman Grill – Menu with Prices – 216 W 8th St, Chattanooga

This was our first to Gilman and we loved it! The sidewalk seating for an early dinner was perfect. It was a great place to watch people go by. The restaurant has a nice open and upscale atmosphere. We ordered a few drinks to get started and then followed with food. The drinks were high quality and made with care. Very refreshing… For entrees my wife ordered a salad with salmon on top and I had the grilled ribeye with shallot demiglaze, and French fries. As an early Father’s Day treat, we sipped on drinks and watched people go by. Our food arrived shortly there after. As a surprise courtesy, the waiter asked me to check my steak after he brought it out. It was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious! Tender and juicy, I enjoyed my Father’s Day meal. The waiter had to leave early and handed us off to another waiter. What was polite was that he took the time to let us know and also introduced the next guy. Outstanding for today’s millennial world. Kudos to Gilman for customer service. Overall, we had a great experience at Gilman and will certainly be back. Love the location in front of the Chattanooga Westin. Keep up the good work!

Noble Smoke – Menu with Prices – 2216 Freedom Dr, Charlotte

So my husband’s boss took us to Noble ‘s smoke for a work dinner. I had gone online and looked up the menu prior to and was really excited about all the side items that they had. I love some veggies, so I was all about that! Upon arriving we were fascinated at the size of the restaurant with all the smokers that you could see it in the back of the building. By the way, at the end of our meal we got to take a small tour. I don’t know if they do that for whom ever wants to tour but definitely ask if you’re interested it’s kind of cool. Our server (Felix) was absolutely one of the best servers I’ve ever had! He was prompt and courteous with a smile on his face! He actually looked like he wanted to be there! We started off with the chicken wings which were absolutely hands-down the best smoked chicken wings that I’ve ever eaten. You did not need anything else with them. My husband and I both got the quarter pound brisket. when it came to the table we thought it was kind of a chintzy cut. However, it was plenty really. I had the stewed squash which was delicious and my husband had the mac & cheese. We got to try the pork as the couple across from us gave us each a bite and it was good as well. Some of the guys got fried oysters and they said they were absolutely awesome. My husband and I each had cocktails and they were served in a nice size glass and they were delicious. They have a whole sheet of craft beers you can choose from and I believe they’re building a brewery In there as well. Everyone we came in contact with was super nice ultra informative and once again looked like they were happy to be there and happy that you were there. In this day and time I think that’s a plus!!!!! OH YEAH….. they have banana pudding and fried pies I had the apple fried pie, it was a nice treat for the end of the evening. I can’t say anything about the banana pudding as I don’t eat banana pudding. Overall I would say GO! The ambience is cool the food is awesome the people are awesome the whole experience was just awesome! Well done Nobles Smoke!
