***goth night***I just have to say that the ‘goth’ night was lacking in quality club music. The DJ claims to have tons of music but yet played 3 sisters of Mercy songs, 2 Christian death (one was followed by the Smiths… Who does that??!!) And 3 depeche mode songs in less than 2 hours. Now I must also mention the 3 second pause between every single song that leaves the people standing there looking confused and hopeful that something better would play next. Does the equipment he use lack a fade in and out button? I understand this is a once in a while type night therefore it can’t compare to other goth clubs within a 2 hour driving radius, but I heard better goth/industrial music on 80s night the previous week. For those who really truly love the music, there should be a wider variety of music in the DJs set. We like to go out and dance, not breathe in the fog and stare at the lights…***80s night***Music variety was all over the place. Pixies, The cure, wham, Whitney Huston, ah-ha, nitzer ebb, the Ramones… It got about every type of 80s except the hair bands. It gave people time to rest when the crappy 80s muzak came on (although you’d have to wait at least 5 songs to get back to the fun stuff) but the floor was pretty busy with people dancing. I would go back to this night but if I missed it, I wouldn’t be heartbroken. I guess through the years of going to clubs, I’ve gotten very spoiled and maybe in just to picky.

Politics Spirits & Games – Menu with Prices – 7426 S Staples St #215, Corpus Christi

The bartenders and staff are great but please DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE TOUCH TUNES MACHINE!!! Its a rip off! My husband and I put 10 dollars to hear some music. We were aware that a couple people had already went to the machine to add some of their own music. We waited about an hour and still hadn’t heard our music being played. I kept getting up to check to see if our music was next (you can see what next in the playlist up to 5 songs) and noticed that there were only 3 songs ahead of ours at this point. Great! I sat down and waited another 20 minutes…still nothing. I went back up to the machine and saw that our songs weren’t there anymore and that there were even more songs ahead of ours! The machine said these songs were added “by its mobile app”. It was 1am! and there weren’t that many people there! Seriously!!! Don’t waste your money! We left at 2am and never heard our songs that were requested at 11pm!

Lovell’s Guiding Light – Menu with Prices – 148-33 Hillside Avenue, Jamaica

Very convenient by the mta transportation; Subway: F- Train. Stuphin Blvd ,train station P.S. the crowd is very mature with students and grown adults , barely fights brake out at this night club . And the NYPD cars always up front at the night club to make sure everything is ok and the Bouncer at the front door is pretty friendly as well !!!!

Underground Niteclub – Menu with Prices – 274 Delaware Ave # 2, Buffalo

This place is awesome! The gay bartenders make great drinks that will sure to get you dancing by the middle of the night. I got a long island for about $8 but it was well worth it. It was a huge pint glass rather than the $8 small plastic cups in NYC. The card minimum is $10. So, drinks are relatively cheap and NOT watered down! =] woo hoo!! The bathrooms are separated between male & female but no one really cares to listen, I also see guys in the bathroom chatting it up or smoking in the girls bathroom. I think the 1st one is for guys and the 2nd room is for girls? Idn, I guess it might as well be unisex. I love going here for the “Radiation” parties which are goth & industrial themed nights. DJ ArcaTek plays goth, industrial, EBM, new wave, Harsh EBM, Indie Electro, and FuturePoP. I’ve never been here on a regular night so I can only assume there would be less straight people and maybe less gothy people on those nights. The gay guys are always eying my boyfriend so I have to keep watch on him. Also, another thing, for Radiation, there is NO COVER! =] Which is awesome cause in NYC goth parties can be anywhere from $8 – 15 plus coat check. Coat check here is FREE (inside the DJ booth there are hangers) which equals more $$ to spend on drinks!!! Dance floor is a little small but not many use it. Everyone is too busy getting drunk. There is also a pool table that is $1 to play. =] So if the night starts out kinda slow, you always could play a few games of pool while the alcohol seeps into your system. muhahahaha

Buddy’s Hideaway Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 9811 Jefferson Ave, Newport News

As far as bars go it’s a decent place. Their bar food is actually tasty and the price of beer won’t make you do calculations all night long. They have pool tables and an outside area where you can smoke. They also have a pool tournament every once in a while, if you’re the competitive type. I do have one gripe. Sometimes you’ll feel like the mood is wrong and you’ll realize it’s because no music is playing. It has one of those new juke boxes that you have to pay to get points to play a song. It’s pretty expensive to play certain songs. I see them around but normally if no one is paying to play music the bar has a playlist on repeat. Not Buddy’s. If no one pays, there is no music

Mr Luckys Billiards – Menu with Prices – 21020 Hawthorne Blvd, Torrance

Keep in mind ppl, I’m the average joe that wants to drink a beer and play a round of billiards. Add some tunes to it and it’s a good night. No drama intended or requested. Like most bars, they have a jukebox. “Amimusic” app one in particular. They offer 5 10 15 and 20 dollar credits. What they don’t tell you is that they will swindle you out of your money. Lee and justin(the bartender and worker) will tell you that they have no control over the jukebox when in fact they do. Bartender is bald with tats all over and worker has ear plugs n clean trimmed beard. While I was there, multiple customers complained of the same issue, (when are my “purchased” songs gonna play?) After paying 5 bucks and selecting 5 songs that never played, we asked the bartender if they’d ever play. We got the run around from the bartender that he has no control over the juke box(he showed me on his phone he has an account to ami music I can only assume paid for by the owner) but in fact he does. We say w/e and we continue the night. As some of you may know, the more credits you buy, you’re able to queue your song to the front of the line. That said, lee himself queued a song to the front proving he has control. My brother and I as well as the group next to us, purchased songs that never played. We were there close to 3 hours, till closing time. the other group same…their songs never played…no refund was offered or given… as soon as we left the place, 2am, after complaining of the issue, they altered the queue and played their music…pretty much saying F U to us and thx for your money. If you dont believe this review, download the ami music app the next time you go to this bar, and check the queue after you buy songs…the app is free and you dont need to submit any info, you’re able to select your location and check the queue… It’s pretty Fd up that your patrons are trying to have a fun night and you mess it up like this lee and justin. You’ve lost a potential regular client… Pretty much all they played was limp biscuit and other metal songs…

Whitney’s Magical Treats Menu with Prices 139 13776 N, US-183, Austin

We had custom cookies made for our son’s third birthday & they were perfect. Actually better than what we had hoped for! They were a big hit with our family & our guests. I just wish I would of ordered more! They tasted just as amazing as they looked. Communication with Whitney was also great. That made it even better. We will definitely be ordering more for other occasions. I’ve already told others about her & her amazing cookies. I highly recommend anyone to check out Whitney’s Magical Treats!

Pockets Pool & Pub – Menu with Prices – 1062 S Wilmot Rd, Tucson

Pockets has some great employees, good food, and quality pool tables, but something I’ve noticed really bothers me. They have juke box music, and quite often if a pleasant classic rock song comes on, the bartender will boot the song. If an obnoxious rap “song” comes on, then they’ll be happy with it. Their juke box is up to $1 per song on many songs. A minority of songs might be only 50 cents. Either way, if I’ve paid to hear a song, you don’t just knock it off on a whim. Completely ridiculous.

Hideout Pizzaria – Menu with Prices – 5620 Barrett Ln, Louisville

As soon as you step into Hideout Pizzaria, you recognize the vibe as if you’ve been there many times before. The staff treats everyone as if they’re all regulars and there’s plenty to do outside of eating. If you want to listen to live music, they’ve got it. In the mood for trivia? They’ve got that too. Want to shoot some pool, do some karaoke, watch a game with your friends? All there, and everyone is welcome. Hideout is a friendly restaurant to people of all walks of life.. . On top of an incredible atmosphere, the food is unbeatable, especially for the prices. A varied menu offering multiple options, but to ignore the item on the marquee would be cheating yourself. Hideout has incredible pizzas of all flavors and sizes. For someone like myself who fancies a pizza frequently, Hideout is an ideal spot as you can go on every night of the week for nearly a month and get something different. Their wings are worth noting too, as not only are they big enough to satisfy, but the sauces are up to par with anyone who’s a winghead like myself.. . Hideout is a perfect location for families, friends, clubs, parties, laughs, and to get a fill up. It’s just secluded enough that you don’t have to worry about a flood of people or a long wait for a table, but open to the world so you know you won’t be turned away. Hideout Pizzaria is exactly what a patron would hope for.

International Dance Club Inc – Menu with Prices – 2422 Busch Ave, Colorado Springs

Great variety of dance music ! Great dance floor! Big place, friendly people. If you like to “couples” dance, or just to enjoy good live music and dance a few line dances, this is the place for you. The music is everything from Country and Western, Polka, Swing, ballroom and latin. People of all ages come and even bring their kids sometimes! You don’t have to be a great dancer, because there are dancers of all levels, from “never-ever” to accomplished ball room dancers. You don’t have to dress up, although extremely casual attire is not allowed. Many ladies look forward for the chance to dress up for their “date-night:” with their hubby, but there are those who just go for comfort with slacks and nice tops. There is a dance almost every Saturday night from 7-10pm, except for holidays. The theme and band can vary. There are free dance lessons too-check their website. The price is inexpensive-$10 for non-members. It is a non-profit, so this is the best deal in town!

Lillian’s Music Store – Menu with Prices – 112 SE 1st St, Gainesville

Lillian’s Music Store is a smoky bar with a neighborhood feeling and decently priced drinks. It has a very hipster anything goes kind of feeling to it and draws such a variety of a crowd. Lots and lots of drink options for everyone and while the pours can be inconsistent, most of the drinks I tried were fairly strong. One thing I did like about this place is that there is a music playlist thing they have where you can queue songs and control what plays next through either an app or website. It is kind of a one drink stop place to visit when bar hopping around town. If you are not a smoker and especially smoker of cigars since there was a whole collection of them, then this is not the place for you. I could only withstand the smoke for about one or two drinks then needed to step out for fresh air. It has its unique charm I must say.

Young St Karaoke Lounge – Menu with Prices – 1177 Central Pkwy W #63, Mississauga

This Karaoke place is just as good as it gets, extreme value and good times! On NYE, they invited everyone out to the lounge area for the countdown and literally made it rain with dolla dolla bills and shots on the house. Yes you read correctly, they were shooting out authentic USD $1 bills like it was confetti and one counter full of free shots (check my vid under photos of this listing). All the fobby Asians didn’t take advantage of this so there were a ton of leftover alcohol. I was soOOo smart and dismissed it as fake money and was snapchatting away instead of picking up those authentic bills #priorities. By the time I realized, I missed out and watched some who swept away with a bunch of $$$, okay maybe only $20. We booked the room from 9pm-3am for free with a minimum $150 purchase in food and drinks. The room can fit 8 comfortably and can hold probably up to 10. As for song selection, they didn’t have a thorough list of English songs but you can expect top40s and popular ones from the past think BSB, Nsync, Britney, TLC etc. I was disappointed they didn’t have many Disney songs except Frozen. Decent and enough to entertain for the whole time. I appreciate the use of music videos instead of a generic backdrop that has nothing to do with the song. Although we didn’t select Asian songs, it seemed like there was a lot more selection, especially Chinese songs.

Monsoon VIP Las Vegas – Menu with Prices – 4625 Wynn Rd, Las Vegas

Brian at Monsoon VIP is highly recommended. I suggested some friends to go through him in regards to the night life and they were extremely happy. They liked all the options that were given to them as well as the professionalism at how he handled everything. I’ve gone through other promoters and promotion groups and I always get late responses or get told I’m getting a deal but I’m not. Some clubs will give me the same if not better deals. With Brian I didn’t have that problem, he was more than willing to accept a competitors quote and try if not beat it. good times in Vegas and more to come with the help of Brian and Monsoon VIP! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. if your new to Vegas Brian has suggestions for everything from food to shopping to best bars and clubs for what your favorite genre is.
