Today my girlfriend, my infant son and I went for lunch at this location. As we had finished our few errands early, we arrived at approximately 11:30 in the morning. We were the only customers at the time. As she was treating me, my girlfriend ordered four shrimp rolls and a mango salad in addition to our two main dishes and drinks. These are items clearly labelled on the menu. The server checked their stock and informed us that they had no shrimp rolls pre-made. I told him that we had time and did not mind waiting for the staff to make them fresh. After informing the two of us that it would take approximately 20 minutes, the server went in the back (we assumed to make our shrimp rolls and mango salad). My girlfriend and I sat with our son and enjoyed our drinks. In the mean time several other customers came, ordered food, received their food and left. After waiting approximately twenty five minutes, both my girlfriend and I inquired as to when our food would be ready. The server, who had since returned from the back and was serving other customers, informed us that not only was our food not ready, he had yet to start making it! Infuriated my girlfriend demanded her money back for the food we had yet to receive and we left. I do not make a habit of making reviews but today I feel inclined to give this establishment the lowest rating possible. The experience left us both upset and unsatisfied. We will not be returning.

Rock n Roll Sushi Pensacola – Menu with Prices – 1531 E 9 Mile Rd A-6, Pensacola

If I could give this place zero stars I would . To start we waited 10 minutes at the door while the waitresses sat in the corner only to be told we could sit anywhere we want . When we sat down we waited about 10 minutes to take our drinks and put in our app. After 15 minutes we finally got our drinks and she took our order. At this time we have waited 30 minutes and our drinks were completely empty and she was still standing in a corner talking . at about 45 minutes waiting for our food she finally comes over and refills our drinks and gives us a coupon for 50% off our next purchase but it only had a $10 max limit . You can’t even get a roll for under that price . at that point we were really irritated . After waiting an HOUR she comes up to us and says hey this table just left and I thought y’all could eat on this while you wait . I thought it was a kind gesture but one of the rolls on the plate was one of the rolls my friend ordered but the waitress inferred us that we wouldn’t be charged for the free sushi she brought . after an hour and 15 minutes she finally brings our rolls and she brought me my two but my friend only one roll and she said I brought the one because you already had your other roll on the plate THE FREE FOOD SHE GAVE US THAT WE SHARED! So she didn’t get her other roll she was promised and paid $30 for terrible service and my rolls were barely kept together. I am a waitress and I always understand circumstances but this was unacceptable and we will not be back. Its sad because this use to be our place but y’all need better time management and better staff.

Little Purse – Menu with Prices – Newark International Airport St, Newark

I hate to do this but I feel the need to prevent others from having the same experience as me. This review is based on service and not the food. Simply because I never received my food. I placed a takeout order for dumplings and brussel sprouts and waited 15 minutes before saying something. I never want to rush the chefs or servers but my flight was about to start boarding. I asked the server with a man bun if they received my order, and he said yes he would start on it now. This is 15 min after I had placed my order and they didn’t start working on it yet. Mind you, the place just opened for lunch and it was NOT busy. Before I spoke up, I saw this server chatting with another server as if they had nothing to do. 10 more minutes go by, and they finally finished bagging a takeout order that I thought must be mine. He handed it to me but it was actually someone else’s order. Order mix-up. I waited 5 more minutes, to then realize my order STILL had not been bagged. Since I couldn’t miss my flight at this point, I told him to cancel my order and he said “ok” with no apology. There was NO sense of urgency, sympathy, or speed with this server, even though he had multiple takeout customers staring him down. My order was simple and required minimal time to prep – I saw the fried dumplings sitting there the whole time he was moving at snail speed. PLEASE – if you have an hour or more to spare and don’t mind waiting a long time for your food, then you do you. Takeout shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes to be ready. Especially at an airport.

The Butcher Shop Beer Garden & Grill – Menu with Prices – 209 6th St, West Palm Beach

Great ambiance and courtyard. Full craft beer bar which is also nice. However, the service at this place was non existent. After 10 minutes our waitress came over to introduce herself, she then said that she would be back to take our drink order, 10 more minutes comes back and asked us if we wanted drinks? After approximately 10 more minutes we received our drinks, 2 out of the 4 were absolutely wrong (how can you not know the difference between a lager and an ipa?). She then made us wait another 5 minutes for the exchange. So, in 35 minutes (while waiting at the table) we only received our drinks. Once we finally ordered, our food came out and it was another disaster. Two of the steaks were so well done (when everyone at the table ordered rare). Imagine that. In addition, every drink including our waters was empty when the food came out. Now we had no drinks, 2 wrong plates, 2 cold dishes while we waited for them to re-do the other two steaks and the waitress never even apologized. I can only see this place being in business for a few more month before it?s gone. I am not sure if the owners are aware of what a debacle customers are experience, but I had to share my experience because they could and should be doing better. By far one of the worst reviews that I could ever imagine writing for what could easily have been a five star experience. Sad.

Monsoon Siam – Menu with Prices – 2045 Atwood Ave, Madison

I came here for dinner with a friend who recommended this restaurant. Service was prompt and our server Sam was so wonderful and accommodating. The tamarind peanut sauce that came with the fresh rolls was some of the best peanut sauce I’ve ever tasted. My friend ordered the papaya salad and when the wrong one was brought out by mistake, Sam was proactive and removed it from our bill without us saying a word. The papaya salad was fresh and incredibly spicy, just the way we like it! My friend and I both ordered Pad Thai, mine with chicken and hers with tofu. My friend is vegetarian and tasted a fish flavor in her dish so asked for another one made without fish sauce. The server and cook were so nice and rectified the issue right away. We ordered mango sticky rice as a dessert but they were out of mango, so we got jackfruit instead. So delicious and so addicting! I will definitely be going back and I will recommend this Thai restaurant to everyone!

7th + Grove – Menu with Prices – 1930 E 7th Ave, Tampa

My girlfriend and I were visiting Florida and wanted to try this place out. We absolutely lovedddddddd our experience here! By far one of our favorite places that we visited on our trip. The staff is full of life and does a great job of ensuring everyone feels welcomed and are enjoying their overall experience. I adore the personality in this place. It isn’t “cookie-cuter” and everyone who works there seems to truly enjoy coming to work and do what they do. The establishment is beautiful. The murals/paintings make a statement without clashing with the rest of the decor and the music keeps you moving and grooving while enjoying your food and/or drinks. The food was delicious. We had the collard cigarillos, buffalo shrimp, the grove salad and the shrimp and grits. First off, YUMMMMMMY! I loved the smoky flavor in the collards as well as the sauce on the side, the buffalo shrimp was breaded and seasoned just right, the grove salad made my soul happy and was perfectly dressed (not oversaturated) and the shrimp and grits had a great balance of flavors. I’m not even typically a grits fan, but I ate every single bite. Jackie was our server and was very attentive and friendly from start to finish. She had answers to any questions and made wonderful suggestions. Chef Rudy was very personable and had a calmness about him. You could tell that he really loves what he is doing and the concept they are bringing to life. He came by our table to see how things were, gave suggestions and gave us a tour of the place after our meal. Bevin (still such a cute name) was our bartender when we went to check out the other side with Chef and she was super sweet as well. Her drinks were well balanced and she just seems to be in her element. All in all, you are greatly missing out if you pass this place up. Thank you all for making our first experience so great. We will definitely be back when we visit FL again. Best of luck!

Nori & Wasabi – Menu with Prices – 3109 N Halsted St, Chicago

I don’t leave very many Yelp reviews…but this place is an absolute gem and I can’t help but keep recommending it to my friends! I found this place three weeks ago, and I’ve been back once every single week. They have exceptional service and excellent sushi. The owners are very considerate, constantly checking in to make sure everything is good at the beginning, middle, and end of your visits. The establishment is always kept very clean as well. The sushi is well portioned in fish-to-rice ratio and the fish is incredibly fresh. My girlfriend couldn’t help commenting on how good the salmon was, and she can be particular when it comes to how fish is prepared. The first time I went, another table mistakenly took one of my rolls as it was coming out and I was given their order by mistake; the owner graciously offered a replacement roll on the house. We got two combo sets which included salad, as well as three variations of rolls to try. The second time, I called to put in a takeout order, and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. It was ready when I went into the store about ten minutes later. This third time was also great. Some of the rolls to definitely get are the Martini, 911, Brownie (the crispy salmon skin and eel combo is killer), and Hamachi Scallion. 10/10 would recommend for great value and tasty sushi.

Saltgrass Steak House – Menu with Prices – 3320 Central Expy, Plano

My wife and I decided to try the new place. I remember the building used to be a Joes Crab Shack. We went in and the decor inside was awesome. Needless to say, that was the only good thing there. Once we sat down, our server came up to us and ask for our drink order and ask if we wanted any appetizers. We just sat only a minute and didn’t get to lunch on all over the menu. She brought our drinks and we decided to order an appetizer and our entrees. Our appetizer came out and ate some and we were waiting for our entrees which was 2 hamburgers. We waited waited waited and after 40 minutes we finally got to talk with our server and she said ” oh, you didn’t get your food” we said does it look like it on the table. The restaurant was not even busy at that time as only 6 tables were used. We then told her we want to cancel our order and to talk with the manager. With all this happening, the server was never engaging with us to keep us informed of our order or failed to look at us. When manager came over, we told him what had happened and wanted the cancel our order. He said our order was coming up but after waiting forty minutes, we told him we didn’t want it. He went to take it off the bill but no apology for the issue. Bad customer service. He acted like it was our fault. We ended up doing Dairy Queen which for a fast food restaurant, where much more nicer. Needless to say, We won’t be coming back to this location. informed

Maison Saint-Paul – Menu with Prices – 343 St Paul St E, Montreal

Terrible…. My expectations were so high when I walked in. Restaurant looks amazing but thatâ??s about it. Arrived at 9pm and took one whole hour to get the food menu. They offer for you to saber your champagne bottle but the waiter placed it upside down in the ice bucket before hand, making us lose about 100$ worth of the champagne when it popped open. We got served with the first course of our meal approximately 2 and a half hours after our arrival and after all the groups and other people who arrived after us. 2 and a half hours to prepare oysters, burrata and salads!!! The oysters had absolutely no water in them making me question their freshness. Shrimps in the shrimp rolls were raw. Scallops had sand in them. In the end….for the fortune we paid…donâ??t bother. On the other hand, if you just want to go for drinks, it seems to be a decent place.

The Crab Station – Deep Ellum – Menu with Prices – 2813 Commerce St, Dallas

I saw this place was new on Yelp, and thought I’d give it a try. They have only been open a few weeks. My girlfriend saw gumbo on the menu, and she was sold! When we got there she ordered the gumbo, and we were told their gumbo station wasn’t working. Strike one! They were also out of crab cakes, which she also wanted. Strike two! So basically everything my girlfriend wanted wasn’t available. The Calamari is good, it’s not in the typical circular cut, which I think is nice. Pieces are asymmetrical and varying in size, which makes each piece a little different texture. A bit too much breading for me, and one piece in particular was so large it made for awkward sharing. The hush puppies were not very good. Very bland, basically jiffy corn meal condensed into balls. My girlfriend and I each took one bite. The Saints Salad is okay. The only dressing they had available was ranch. It’s a plain old salad, the chicken is good, they forgot to bring this dish out with the other dishes, and forgot to put cheese on it when it did arrive after asking. Seafood Sack #1 was not good. The crawfish shells were so hard, it was nearly impossible to peel them. The shrimp were over cooked and fell apart. The sausage was ok. I would have ordered the T.K.O. spice, but they wanted to charge an extra dollar for that, and I didn’t like the idea of being nickeled and dimed, so I ordered the flame thrower spice. It wasn’t spicy at all, and had a very heavy garlic flavor. If you’re expecting typical Cajun flavoring, it’s not that at all. The waiter asked if I wanted the heads on the shrimp, or not. I’m indifferent to this but told him no heads, at which he informed me that would be an extra dollar. More nickel and diming… I got them with the heads on. Strike three! I complained to the staff about my boiled seafood sack, and they handled it very well. The manager comped the item, and was apologetic. The server was attentive, and overall the service has earned this place a third star.

Lic’s Deli & Ice Cream – Menu with Prices – 11 NW 5th St #1601, Evansville

Very slow. If you order soup and get toast, you are required to pay for a package of two saltine crackers. Seems sort of a stretch to me given I have paid for the soup and waited almost 20 minutes for it. The staff that informed me I needed to pay for the crackers was also pretty rude about it and acted like I should just know that. I did not realize it was common practice to charge for saltines. The toast that came with my sandwich was burned and hard as a rock. And my soup was entirely too hot. On a separate note, the drink nozzle fell off into a customer’s glass while they were filling it and they did not pour the drink out and start over. I found that a lit unsanitary. Edit- tried again on 10/24/2017 through drive through. Cashier was rude. I waited approximately twenty minutes in the drive through. “with chips” meant I got approximately ten chips. My order was also wrong. I ordered a spicy ranch beef quesadilla and received some kind of chicken quesadilla. It’s my fault for trying again after the last visit was so bad. I enjoy other locations. This one is just bad. I’m done with this location. Rude staff and incorrect orders cannot be overlooked repeatedly.

Chipotle Mexican Grill – Menu with Prices – 4116 Portsmouth Blvd, Chesapeake

I am writing today about the location in Chesapeake Square in Chesapeake, VA. I just got some food from there 5 minutes ago, but to be honest, it is probably the last time I will ever go there. First, the staff there is never very friendly, but today was an extreme. It was approximately 2:15pm so they were not busy. I walked in and one person was cleaning the floors and another was prepping food. As soon as me and another customer got there, the guy prepping food peeked his head in the back and asked for people to come to the line. He had to do this twice because no one came out the first time and there were now 5 customers in line waiting to be helped. When 4 people finally came out of the back, they were just chatting with each other and also rolling their eyes/making ugly faces at the guy who was calling for help. We finally start to get help, but no one was nice or even half paying attention to what we were asking for because they had to ask multiple times each. Once I got to the end of the line, prior to paying, they finally told me and the rest of the guests that there was no guacamole, no queso, no fajita veggies, and no chips. (I never would have ordered food in the first place had I known that because I wanted guacamole and queso, but most of all, I wanted a big bag of chips because to me, they are the best part!) After being extremely disappointed but alreadybhaving ordered my food, I tried to pay. The girl from the register had disappeared in the back and there were 3 of us waiting to pay when she finally came back out (on her phone too). Overall, I’m extremely upset at my entire visit today, to the point that I probably won’t go back to that location ever again (even though it’s 1mile from my house) but I will also reconsider going to any chipotle again (even though I’ve been a devout chipotle customer for 10+years) and unfortunately, I’m probably going to start looking into QDoba and the other options near me.

Jon Lillies STEAKHOUSE – Menu with Prices – 5102 N 19th St, Waco

Visited on Saturday for a family dinner. Had to wait around 30 min for a table upon arrival after we had called ahead and told it would be about 20 minutes, which is the amount of time that it took to drive to the establishment. The table they attempted to seat us at had not been bussed and we had to wait while they did that. We were told that they were out of Ribeyes while we we looking at the menus. Menu prices are quite high compared to other steakhouses in the area and if you want a dinner salad with your meal, that is an upcharge, as they consider it a premium side. After ordering our food, we asked if we could have some rolls brought to the table. One server said she would be right back with some. After about 20 minutes our server finally stopped back by the table to check on us. We asked her about the rolls, and she said they don’t serve rolls. What kind of steakhouse does not serve rolls? Our food finally arrived about 30 minutes after we ordered it. The food was OK at best and the sides(I ordered green beans and Mac & Cheese) are from a can, and are definitely not fresh or homemade. The grilled chicken breast I ordered was bland with no seasonings and was dry and overcooked. The baked potato was cold and would not melt the butter. The other people in our party had similar complaints about their food and everyone had ordered something different. They had our waitress trying to service too many tables and she just could not take care of everyone being spread so thin and she was unable to keep our drinks filled and there were long stretches of time between visits to our table. It was our one and only visit. We won’t be going back.
