Awesome little truck with some authentic breakfast tacos! Note, it’s CASH ONLY! They have the usual combination of egg breakfast tacos and salsa, and they taste great! The tortillas are nice and soft and seem to be homemade. The tacos are made to order, but they come out pretty quick. They also serve lunch tacos, but I haven’t personally tried them yet. It’s also in a lot that has a mechanic, so it’s convenient to grab some food if you’re waiting on some maintenance. Definitely recommend!

Taqueria La Comadre – Menu with Prices – 3080 S Jupiter Rd, Garland

I was in Garland for a meeting today and stopped to get gas. I walked in and saw that there is a taqueria here so decided that I should just grab a quick lunch before heading back to the office. Glad I did. I am a sucker for good tacos and I was not disappointed. Pastor is hands down my favorite and their pastor is on point. Also had the Barbacoa. I really liked it as well. Great flavor all around. I love finding places by pure accident. I don’t get over this way often but I promise that I will be stopping back by here whenever I do. They also serve breakfast so I might be inclined to schedule an early meeting over here so I can try the migas.

Los Chilangos Menu with Prices 14008 NE 8th St, Bellevue

Taqueria Los Chilangos is a solid food truck, serving Mexican favorites. Its truck is located at the Shell gas station at the intersection of 8th and 140th, where they’re open all day. I came here to grab some quick dinner for my boyfriend and me, as I was in the area for a meeting and spotted Taqueria Los Chilangos’ truck. I ordered five tacos, two with carnitas, two with al pastor and one with chupa cabras. For also checking in on Yelp I got free chips and salsa. On a Tuesday around 7pm, there were quite a few people waiting out in the cold for the goods. Of all the tacos, I actually thought the chupa cabras was the best. It’s not something I’d normally choose with street tacos, as it’s a combination of carne asada and chorizo, but I definitely recommend trying it. I’ve never seen this meat option at other taquerias, which is what intrigued me the most. I’m glad it ended up being a favorite. The al pastor tacos were also good, especially with the pineapple on top, which I think all al pastor tacos should have! But the carnitas, which is usually my go-to protein of choice with street tacos, was sadly, disappointing. Meat was very dry; therefore, it was bland. Stick with the chupa cabras and al pastor meats. In addition to tacos, the menu has a lot to offer, including breakfast served all day! (One of these days I’m gonna get a breakfast burrito.) They also have two different salsas that you can choose from, as well as various flavors of Jarritos. There isn’t seating outside of the truck – only a standing table, so not sure if when the weather fares better are when the seats bust out. At least you can park here and eat your grub in your car, which I noticed a few patrons doing. No shame.

Taqueria Guadalajara – Menu with Prices – 1810 Rayford Rd, Spring

I really enjoy stopping here for a quick lunch and going to the Infuzion Bubble Tea truck next door while my tacos are being made at Taqueria Guadalajara. I always get 3-4 chicken tacos on corn. They come with cilantro, onions and lime. Their sauces are too spicy for me so I just stick with the lime. They are simple and delicious and $2 each. I got breakfast tacos about a year a half ago and ordered sausage egg and cheese and it came with sliced weiners instead of sausage. I’m not sure if that’s how they normally do it, because I haven’t ordered them since. Regardless, their lunch tacos are yummy so stop by and get some.

El Cortijo Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 855 W Elizabeth St, Brownsville

I highly recommend this place if you are not in a hurry to wait for your food. I believe they only have one cook and one waitress. The place is small, so there is no need for more staff. However, since this place is ran by the owners, one is usually in the kitchen and the other one is waiting tables and working at the register. This place is worth visiting because their food is nowhere else to be found in town. This was the first place in Brownsville to introduce ‘Tacos al Vapor’ (steamed tacos? maybe it does not sound too appetizing but believe me, they are great!). They also offer other food choices such as chile relleno (too hot for me, but it’s good). This place also offers tacos for parties (Taquiza, or tacos in large quantities). I personally have ordered tacos for two of my family parties, and the owner even lends you the cooking pot so you can reheat the tacos if needed. Their prices are affordable and the service is great!

Walnut Bridge Market & Chattanooga Segway Tours – Menu with Prices – 204 Walnut St, Chattanooga

I’m absolutely in love with little convenient market. I’ve being stopping here since they have opened. It’s a wonderful place to run in and grab a water before or after you walk or run. There are a few snacks. It’s also an awesome place to just grab a beer and sit for a while ( people watch). I have also met and talked with some interesting passerby’s. You can rent a bike or take a Segway tour. The most important thing is the fun friendly staff there. I know most of them by name and vice versa. I would like to see just a little bit more food there…. maybe some fresh breakfast and lunch sandwiches. But… maybe in the future.

Railroad Stop Deli – Menu with Prices – 1210 26th St, Oakland

Stopped here on a Monday morning to grab my husband some breakfast and this place was the perfect start to my week. Not only, is the food delicious with vegetarian options, the guy working the counter is always super nice. I got the grit special with a veggie patty and hubby got a breakfast burrito with turkey sausage. If you don’t know anything about trying to find a quick non pork breakfast spot then let me tell you the struggle is REAL! Well look no further, if you have a second and it’s not out the way then I suggest you stop by and grab a bite. Plenty of turkey options and they make delicious grits. Haven’t stopped by for lunch yet but I’m sure they probably wouldn’t disappoint!!

Mony’s Mexican Food – Menu with Prices – 217 Anacapa St, Santa Barbara

I absolutely love Mony’s! Food wise it’s 5 stars, the only reason why I gave 4 stars is because there’s always a ton of people here and not a lot of seating so most of the time people just stand and eat. As soon as you see a free table you have to grab it fast. If you come during lunch rush, the line will be out the door and you will be waiting a long time for your food. Besides that, this is the only place I’ll go for my shrimp tacos, I absolutely love it, and there’s also a big variety of delicious salsas. Avocado salsa is the most popular. My boyfriend is not a fan and thinks there’s better tacos around, I 100% disagree. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Toasted Flats – Menu with Prices – 53 Chelsea St, Boston

In the past two years that I’ve been living in Eastie, I’ve been looking for a neighborhood cafe to visit where I could grab coffee and a quick bite to eat. Now I’m kicking myself for not visiting this place sooner! My husband and I walked over on a weekend afternoon to grab lunch and we were greeted by such friendly faces and great food. We had the BBQ chicken flat and the tuna melt flat, but I’d love to come back to try their smoothies and breakfast sandwiches. It’s a small shop with only 3 bar seats so I’d probably recommend taking out. It was fairly busy when we walked in around noon, but service was fast and the food came out quickly. Will definitely be a regular of toasted flats from here on out!

Four Lakes Cafe – Menu with Prices – 600 Highland Ave, Madison

I actually quite like this place! In all my years here I have heard that there is a cafe at the hospital but had never actually made my way over. Since my bf started working nearby, I found myself joining him on several occasions for meals. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. I wish they open a little later for dinner. In theory they close around 7 pm, but if you go after 6 pm the selections dropped widely. And ~5:30 pm seems kind of early for dinner. In terms of food options they do have about 7 or so stalls and a full salad bar. There is also a wide range of coffee and even soft serve ice-cream. There is a ‘daily lunch special’ being offered, and one of the most popular dishes I’ve seen is their make-your-own tacos. As the name implies you get to create your tacos in whatever ways you like, and they charge by the weight. That is one of my favs, but the line for that does get long during regular lunch hours. Breakfast wise you get bakery items, omelet (optional side of meat), oatmeal and the usual milk, coffee etc. Not bad at all for a hospital cafe. That said, if you are the occasional diner like me, you will find this place enjoyable. I especially like the weekly fish at the asian food store. They serve that every Thursday. For those who work here and come here daily or frequent enough for your meals, I can see why people get tired of the options eventually. If you work/visit the hospital, or take classes there, stop by and give it a try. It’s hard to find something similar that is priced so competitively.

Coco’s Taco Bar – Menu with Prices – 1121 Business Loop 70 E, Columbia

Cocoâ??s tacos are the best! I ordered a disassembled taco kit straight to my door, had amazing tacos for dinner last night and had leftovers to make a breakfast burrito this morning! I would highly recommend cocos tacos!

Cruisin Coffee Bakerview Menu with Prices 2429 E Bakerview Rd, Bellingham

This location is right by my work which is perfect for when I forget my breakfast or lunch. I normally only get a bagel and cream cheese, breakfast sandwich or the soup and salad combo. The sandwiches are always great! The bagels they put way too much cream cheese on for my taste. I usually just scrap off a good about at work. The soup is hit or miss. Some of the soups are bland and taste like they have been sitting awhile. Others have more flavor and are fairly good. The gals there are quick and very nice! I Over all this is a nice place to grab a quick bite to eat if you are in a hurry. The staff is great and the food is good. ?

Hutton Marketplace – Menu with Prices – 2 Hutton Centre Dr #101, Santa Ana

Convenience market with deli kitchen in the back~ They are the newest addition at the Hutton plaza circle and I welcome this new addition. From simple everyday convenience items to alcoholic beverages, they have wide selection of choices. You need to know convenient store pricing is little higher than at your mega name super stores. Given that, they’re pretty reasonable with the prices. We had dropped in couple of times for beers before. Never thought about trying out their food but one morning, decided to order breakfast. Do not expect some gourmet meal! This is a quick and easy meal~ They are very generous with the portion. Hubs ordered the burrito and I had the breakfast bowl (both all meat). Also added cheesy tater tot fries to share (this is huuuuuge). The salt level is high (of course with all the processed meats in the food) but prepared hot and fresh off the griddle! It was filling and convenient! There are tables places outside so you can sit outside and enjoy your meal. People who work there are very nice and friendly. If you work or live near by the store, definitely a convenient location to drop by for all your little quick needs for stuff you forgot to get at big markets! Parking is sorta limited and hard to find at their busy hours.
