I had the most amazing experience at Table. The minute my mom and I walked in, we were treated like family. The owner/chef, Jen welcomed us with a huge warm smile and some of the most incredible food Iâ??ve ever eaten. For those unfamiliar with Table, it is family style. My mom and I entered not knowing anyone and left with all sorts of new friends and family members. The food that Jen prepared was obviously made with love. From the very first bite , to the last, everything was delicious. The Gnocchi was the best Iâ??ve ever had ( donâ??t tell my 100% Italian mother that I said that) The eggplant, The meatballs, absolutely everything I ate was like music in my mouth. Iâ??ve spent many nights eating in restaurants in Italy and the food at Table was so authentic.. it could have come straight from Tuscany. The atmosphere was so pleasant and inviting.. far friendlier than when I eat with my own family haha! For anyone looking for a truly extraordinarily meal mixed with an elegant and friendly atmosphere, then rush to Table( if you can get a seat)

Atmosphere Italian Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 935 N Beneva Rd, Sarasota

Food could have been better The atmosphere was quiet when I stopped in for lunch, I was their only customer for the first part of my lunch. It was also nice, the place had clean look, pictures on the wall, red and white checkered tablecloths, Italian music playing softly. This is the location previously occupied by Alma’s Kouzine, and with the same floorplan, it had a familiar feel. We got off to a friendly start and service was pretty good throughout my visit. I had checked out the menu posted in Yelp photos before I arrived and had decided on their Spaghetti and Meatballs. Table bread was provided, followed by a small lettuce and tomato salad. The salad was a nice surprise, it wasn’t mentioned on the menu. It glimmered with oil. When I visited Italy last fall no one ever offered dressing choices, so this seemed very normal for an Italian restaurant. Not sure on the timing, it may have taken a little while to get to the main course, but I had bread and then a salad, and was in no hurry. The food is important, and while the bread and salad were both ok, the spaghetti and meatballs was a bit of a disappointment. The noodles themselves were fine but the sauce was thin and watery. To me the meatballs weren’t very good, I had problems with both the taste and texture. Cheese was added before the dish was dropped off, no cheese on the table for me to improve it. I’m not saying what I ate was terrible, I ate it all and it was a generous amount of food. I just feel it could have been better. Atmosphere now serves breakfast. They open about 9am and offer several omelettes. I have no doubt I’d be writing a more positive review if I had eaten an omelette.

Frali Gourmet – Menu with Prices – 217 W Liberty St, Savannah

Wow! Seriously 5 stars all around, service food and price are on point here. This was probably one of my favorite lunches in forever, I felt like I was transported back to Italy. I came here with a girlfriend and our kiddos to try out lunch and left so impressed and off course wanting more even though I was stuffed. This is another family owned business and they really put their love in each customers dish. We started with the antipasto plate for two which came with prosciutto, Italian ham, a dried salami, 3 different cheeses, some pickled veggies and bread. This was a great starter, they also brought out some baguette with a toasted pepper sauce which was amazing. For lunch I ordered the build your own pasta with spinach and ricotta ravioli in a vodka sauce with a side of meatballs for my son and I to share. This was the highlight of my day, the meatballs were so moist and I’m typically not a meatball person, the ravioli tasted so fresh and once we finished I was so tempted to lick my plate clean the vodka sauce was out of this world. My friend ordered their Pappardelle alla Bolognese and that too was amazing. The food here taste so authentic and them making everything in house or imported from Italy really comes through with the meals. Our server who I also believe was the owner continuously checked on us to make sure everything was good. The only bummer was their gelato machine was down which was ok because they still had a pretty big dessert menu and we finished our meals with sorbet imported from Italy .

Sopra Antipasto and Wine bar – Menu with Prices – 4 S 28th St, Colorado Springs

Sopra was a hidden gem with minimal reviews and absolutely delicious authentic Italian options. They’re a tapas and wine type bar with a twist of Italy! We tried to eat everything on the menu but that is absolutely impossible. My favorites include the meatballs (so light and delicious), the bruschetta (we had both the margarita & the beef) both of which we absolutely delicious, topped full of toppings and perfectly crisp and cheesy. The pancetta & buratta cheese was soooo delicious. The table agreed that it topped everything! The lobster pasta was the least favorite of what we ordered, but it was still packed full of lobster and delicious. Just to show you how amazing everything was! The service was great! We went on a Tuesday night and the place had empty tables. I’m surprised this place isn’t packed every single night of the week! They have a private parking lot which is convenient and they’re in a nice little town section of Colorado Springs! When I come back to Colorado springs I hope this place is still popping!

Italy Italy Ristorante – Menu with Prices – 1934 N Wickham Rd, Melbourne

Italy Italy stay away! stay away! Wow where to start, I’m a local resident of Melbourne and this was one restaurant that we had yet to try my daughter and I were going to the movie and wanted a bite to eat before so I googled and found Italy Italy , ok right down the street pretty good reviews let’s try it ….. bad idea don’t believe the good reviews there’s no way they’re real when we arrived there were maybe 5 or 6 tables seated it was just 5:15pm so not to busy we found a seat and waitress arrived she seemed out of place older lady not very professional we placed our order spaghetti with meatballs and chicken Alfredo, 45 minuets later we still had not been served the waitress kept making the excuse that they were sooo busy there were only 6 or 7 table seated I went to leave but was told that our food was ready and I could take it to go if I wanted, no, I said I don’t want it to go if it’s ready let’s get it on the table, Another 10 minuets went by here comes our food straight out of the microwave it’s literally steaming like molten lava after it cools down a bit we try to eat, The meatballs have no flavor at all the sauce tastes like ragu and the pasta had an off odd taste I couldn’t quite identify but it caused me to stop eating out of fear, My daughters Alfredo was extremely watery and had no flavor so we just asked for the check I just wanted to get out of there the waitress brought the check told me she was giving me half off because of my wait ,I told her it was the worst meal I have ever had she then chastised me “don’t say things like that in front of my customers” she took my card when she brought my slip to sign I saw that she had charged me the full price of the meal so I signed and went to leave , she caught us at the front door and said she would like to speak to me out side I said ok once outside she lit into me with a barrage of nastiness telling me how rude I was to say those things in front of her customers and I was not welcome there , ok no problem your food sucks I won’t be back believe me. Unbelievable I’ve never be accosted by waitstaff outside a restaurant I just kinda stood there dumbfounded anyway please stay away from this place believe the bad reviews they are true.

Roku bar + bites – Menu with Prices – 610 Somerset St W, Ottawa

TL;DR: great service, tasty food, cool atmosphere. My family was staying nearby so we decided to pop in for dinner. It was nicely decorated and set up but the music didn’t quite suit the place (pop music, like Ariana Grande. A little too clubby). There was only one other patron but we went on a Wednesday right when they open (6pm). They had a full bar and my sister ordered the ‘Diced Pineapples’ cocktail. Although quite interesting (included fresh basil) it wasn’t her favorite. We also ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio which was very nice. Our food took about 45 minutes to come out and it came out two dishes at a time every few minutes. We ordered the wings, Lao meatballs, gxstr (pronounced gangster) pork and big mak gyoza, chicken skewers, phuket fries, and a vegetarian ‘off the menu’ dish. Everything was absolutely delicious! We tried each other’s food and it was all very good. My only complaint was the wait time for food considering the restaurant was not crowded. My Canadian family said they would come back again!

The Oak House Durham – Menu with Prices – 126 W Main St, Durham

Such a rad spot on Main St! If I lived here I would be here all the time. It’s got all my favorite things: house-roasted coffee, local craft beers, wines from the best regions of California, Italy, Argentina and more, bar seating, strong wifi, outlets, and parking close by. The staff are so nice and knowledgeable on their products. I really have nothing bad to say about this place. My family and I came here to grab drinks and play some intense family card games. We grabbed the community table in the back, ordered our beverages and the staff brought over a couple jugs of complimentary water for us to share. The background music was at perfect level, the place was bumping but not too crowded for comfort, and all seemed to be really enjoying themselves. My family headed out and I stayed to work for a couple hours, which naturally meant finding the perfect beer to accompany me. The bartenders were hilarious informing me about their beers and giving me taste testers to make sure I found the perfect one. The Starpoint DIPA was amazing but the keg was tapped so I ended up going with a non-local sour. I also got a cold brew to-go for the next morning which was delicious, low in acidity and easy to sip on throughout the morning. Oak House is big on locally sourcing. If I understood correctly, their pastries are from the local bakery Whisk & Rye, the use a local creamery for their milks, and their teas are local. They have live music nights, run groups, tastings and board game nights. It’s a great spot to grab coffee and a pastry in the morning, and enjoy drinks with friends at night. I recommend for working, as well. Definitely check this place out, I know I’ll be back!

Tour of Italy – Menu with Prices – 3813 N Monroe St Suite 21, Tallahassee

Satisfy your craving for authentic Italian food and a family-friendly atmosphere at Tour of Italy! Tour of Italy is a family-owned, quaint local restaurant and a place where folks come together for good times and great food. They capture the essence and the ambiance of an evening sitting with a glass of wine and a fine meal on a piazza. Their commitment to homemade ingredients makes for the highest quality food, with all sauces, breads, pizza dough, bread, rolls, meatballs, and sausage made from scratch. As highlights of their menu, they use only the freshest eggplant for their signature eggplant parmesan and offer a meat lasagna special daily with their homemade garlic knots and glass of beer/wine. Our first time there, we attended a wine-tasting event that walked you through an array of delicious wines and finished with a taste of their regular menu. The Eggplant Florentine instantly won me over and it’s become my favorite dish there now. The weather turned out perfect on the last afternoon I was there and made for a lovely time sitting out on the patio. The Meatball Sliders were delicious, nestled in their signature garlic parmesan rolls and the Eggplant Caprese made for a light and fresh touch to the meal. We followed this up with their Eggplant Florentine and Piatto di Frutti di Mare, which acted as yin and yang with the heavy eggplant vegetarian dish stuffed with ricotta and spinach on one side vs. the lightly-sauced linguini pasta tossed with the flavors of the ocean with fresh shrimp, scallops and mussels on the other. We finished on a sweet note with an all-time favorite and quintessentially Italian dessert, Tiramisu! Overall, Tour of Italy is a wonderful example of a local, family-run business that puts their heart and soul into their dishes and I am excited to regularly be back!

Salu Salo Filipino Cuisine Menu with Prices 7401 Matlock Rd Suite 113, Arlington

If you want filipino food like how yo Very filipino grandma makes it, go to Salu-salo!! The prices were very affordable and cheap unlike other filipino restaurants.I heard that the business owner is kapampangan. People from pampangga are known to be the best cooks in the philippines. Trying this restaurant for the first time just proved that kapampangans never disappoints when it comes to food. It was very filipino authentic and its the perfect comfort food. I came in here with a family of 4 and we ordered almost everything in the displays. If you come in here and dont know what to get, get whatever because i dont think you can go wrong with anything you order. Everything was absolutely delicious and authentic. The service was very fast and the staff was very friendly and attentive. One of the staff, i believe his name was wally went out of his way to grab my family some drinks and ask us how our food is, despite the restaurant being self service. This restaurant made me feel like home, and it gives off â??dampaâ? vibes like the fresh seafood â??palutoâ? restaurants in the philippines because of the live karaoke music thats very pleasing to listen to while enjoying the meal, and the banana leaves that they use for the plating. I barely knew anybody in the restaurant yet they made me feel like home. My family and i will be coming back again to this filipino restaurant, and i will be telling more of my friends about this. Thank you salu salo, for the very satisfying food, service, and filipino home atmosphere!!

Forty & Eight Office – Menu with Prices – 3113 S 70th St, Omaha

This is some of the best spaghetti in Omaha. They have spaghetti every Monday night and burgers and other specialties on Thursday nights, as well as some other items on special nights. The people here are SO NICE and everything is made from scratch. You can tell the sauce cooks all day and it is chock full of meatballs and sausage slices. It comes with a salad, green beans and homemade creamed corn (that is awesome by the way). You can eat there (it is unlimited) or get it to go. The to go orders are 7.00!! One of the best deals in town. I promise you will have enough for at least two meals.

Blue Tavern – Menu with Prices – 1206 N Monroe St, Tallahassee

Lots has changed in the year and a half since this cozy hole in the wall bar opened. There’s hot food every night, ranging from Cuban sandwiches (excellent) to jambalaya (straight out of New Orleans). Four beers on tap feature three locals and an easy drinker and change with the seasons. There are craft local beers available in cans, wine, and champagne. The real gem is the music selection. Blues on Monday nights is consistently wonderful. People come for the music, so the crowd is relaxed and quiet. Other weekday nights are a regular rotation of jazz, blues, choro, open mics, and storytelling. Weekends range from the lively old time sound of the Flathead Stringband (dancing!) to the kickass sound of Ben Prestige’s one-man blue’s band. Regulars welcome newcomers with open arms, everyone happy to share a musical community. Hands down my favorite place for a weeknight chill spot.

Enoteca Umberto – Menu with Prices – 256 Atwells Ave, Providence

I’ll try. I’ll try to write a review that is worthy of this establishment, but I’m pretty sure I’m going to fail. This was not just a meal, it was an experience, an adventure, and a family reunion as you’re transported to Southern Italy. Umberto is your host, your travel guide, your sommelier, your narrator, and your brother. I wish I could describe each dish in detail as Umberto did, as he’s crossing back and forth from Italian to English, telling you each ingredient, and its history, but alas I cannot. I can tell you each dish was unique and delicious, every ingredient fresh. The presentation, the orchestration, and the attention to every detail taken care of. You don’t have to do the wine pairing, but I recommend it. You can choose not to drink wine. You can also buy a bottle or bottles, or let Umberto take care of it, bringing you a glass with each course that he has carefully selected. I’m not even much of a wine drinker, but I was absolutely in love with every glass, and it was paired perfectly with every dish. Even though there is no menu, and they have pre-selected the five courses for that evening, they are very accommodating if you have food allergies, are a vegan, or in the case of my eight year old daughter, just won’t eat something. Umberto had a special dish brought out just for her. There is only seating for 18 people, and his wife and children are in the kitchen cooking right in front of you. Intimate is an understatement. You will make friends with the table sitting next to you, because over the course of the two to three hours you’re there, you become family with everyone. The location of the restroom dictates that you have to cross through the kitchen where the family is cooking, which was somehow oddly satisfying, and made the experience even more endearing. A couple firsts for me as well. I actually regret taking photos while I was here. The photos can’t in any way do the dishes justice, I mean, the ingredients are flown in straight from Italy, and you can’t tell that by my photos. It also took away from the entire experience I was having. When you come here, I would recommend not making the same mistake as I did, and either leave your phone in the car or shut it off. Also, I’ve never told anyone that it was an honor to dine in their establishment, but that it precisely what I told Umberto, it truly was. If there was a way to give more than five stars, I would. If you’re planning on being in the area, even six months in the future, make reservations now. This place is booked out far in advance, and for good reason. You do not want to miss out on this meal, this experience, this adventure, and family reunion.
