I had the Empanadas (see pics) and they were tasty. The customer service put them over the top to the 5 star mark. The ladies who I interacted with were super nice. Since it was my first time they gave me a dessert empanada which was the first time I had one of those. They seemed like they were excited to make sure I enjoyed my meal and were thankful for my purchase. I really do wish more restaurants treated their customers like they did to me. The dipping sauces were tasty! I totally want to try one of their pizzas. I look forward to stopping in again. If you are in the area… or even if you are not, stop by T-Mama’s!

Cugino Forno Pizzeria Winston Salem – Menu with Prices – 486 Patterson Ave Suite 115, Winston-Salem

Perfetto! How do I love this pizzeria – let me count the ways! Just a short walk from my office so I decided it was going to be my lunch (walk to and from pizza cancels out carbs, right?) I didn’t know what to expect as I walked in. I was overwhelmed with smells and pizzas to choose from so I just took a moment. I went to my love, white pizza or the Bianca. No red sauce but garlic, mozzarella, basil and some serious love. I got to talk to the owner briefly and he was genuine and I could tell he cares about his product. After I ordered, I went and grabbed a seat and waited for my friend. After she got there I went to the spice bar and had to stop myself from getting containers of every thing to try on my pizza. I went with salt and a cup of marinara for dipping my crust. (If anyone can tell me what to use the vinegar and hot oil on, please let me know because I can’t stop thinking about it.) Anyways! My pizza was beyond what I imagined. I just fell in love. I took two slices home so my SO could experience this love as well. (As well as a cannoli, which is free when you check in on Yelp and purchase a pizza!) It was a good dinner night to say the least. I can’t wait to go back and try a different one or seven. Then start sampling all the gelatos.

Pizza Hut Express – Menu with Prices – 2056 Skibo Rd, Fayetteville

Usually every time I go to Target, I stop in at the Pizza Hut Express. I have never had a reason to complain. The pizza has always been excellent. Yesterday I was in Fayetteville and my daughter wanted to stop by Target to do some shopping and of course wanted pizza. We finished our shopping and decided to get the pizzas to go. I ordered three, two pepperoni and a cheese. When we got home and started eating the pizzas, we found that all three pizzas did not have pizza sauce on them. We tried to eat them anyway, but they just did not taste the same. We were very disappointed.

Cork & Pig Tavern – Menu with Prices – 5224 N O’Connor Blvd, Irving

I’ve been meaning to test out the Cork & Pig Tavern for some time now, and to be honest the main thing stopping me was the dubious parking in their vicinity. They do offer “free” valet, however I am not a fan of that concept. The building is extremely modern, and loaded with high windows, giving rather glorious views of The Towers at Williams Square. The tables, chairs, and other accessories are a bit aberrant, and the booths can be somewhat claustrophobic. A nearby couple even had to rearrange their booth to accommodate themselves. Service was prompt and friendly. Perhaps the best thing here is the happy hour. I inquired immediately if the happy hour pizzas were congruous to the menu priced ones, and the server informed me they were. We immediately ordered two (Pepperoni and the Pig) with the calamari appetizer. The appetizer was made in a somewhat inexpert manner, but wasn’t exactly second-class either. It came with two rather common dipping sauces as well. I will be trying something else on my next visit. The pizzas came out and they were exactly what I was craving. Crafted atop a nice hand tossed dough, they had a thin center crust with a soft pliable thicker outer ring. Much like the pizzas I make at home. They were topped nicely, and cooked as they should be. I enjoyed both varieties, with my only real compliant being that they bring out a faux Parmesan cheese shaker versus a sprinkling of bonafide Parmigiano-Reggiano. I did check the menu to see what the price difference was on happy hour versus normal price, and it’s pretty stark. About $16-$17 versus $9, so there is good reason to come here for happy hour in specific. I also had a rye old fashioned, which was prepared nicely and had a generous pour of whiskey. The beer selection was somewhat underpopulated, but they did have some reasonably priced Italian wines. Though there were some meretricious picks there also, like the “Mommy’s Time Out”. I suppose this a Pinot Grigio made just for mommy wine culture enthusiasts. I don’t like to be snobbish, but I prefer my Pinot Grigio to be named after the place it comes from more than anything else, or at least some sort of description of it’s dryness and palette.

Rejhenesis CBD Menu with Prices 7470 District Blvd Unit E, Bakersfield

I was in Bakersfield, Ca a few weeks back and had heard about a new cbd store over on District St or Ave or whatever it is, so my wife, some friends and I went over to this place for the Grand opening, and we were all very impressed. The owner was totally professional, extremely knowledgeable about everything in the store. The staff was absolutely amazing, and the products were awesome. We were made to feel very welcomed, treated the way customers should be treated. I highly recommend this place if you are ever in the area. I will definitely go back! Thank you to the owner. Good luck.

AZ Food Crafters – Kitchen And Catering – Menu with Prices – 961 W Ray Rd #1, Chandler

I poked my dome in here before stopping by Tumi for lunch…..well let’s just say change of plans I decided to have lunch AND dessert here instead! The crustyliciousness and the quality ingredients in their quiches, desserts, hand pies, mini pies, side dishes…sweet or savory they know what they’re doing at AZFC! They feature different hand pies errry day. So many great choices so but I knew exactly what I was going to get……. Pecan Pie – my fave and not syrupy at all! Just the way I love it! If you like pecan pie, give this a try! I think you will really like it! Pork chile empanada – came with crema and salsa verde dipping sauce. It was kinda dry and needed the two dipping sauces. Creme brûlée – tough to screw this up! Really good. I’m ready to hunt them down next time I’m at a farmers market as well. You should too if you your pretty fly for a pie guy or come here as well. But hurry they close before 4pm!!! Sooo late night hand pies N/A sadly! 4 stars overall.

Dodici Pizza + Wine – Menu with Prices – 1200 E Adams St, Brownsville

An amazing place in downtown Brownsville. Fantastic food – their pizzas are traditional and are true Sicilian style. I can’t say enough about the food, people and atmosphere. I have so many positive things to say about this place it’s difficult to cram into a succinct review. Just trust me. This place isn’t just good compared to Valley restaurants – it’s comparable to food found anywhere in great restaurants in Texas. You will be treated well and enjoy your meal. Oh, and I’ve completely neglected their fantastic selection of wines that are reasonably priced and not so easy to find in South Texas. This place is making downtown Brownsville feel alive again – and I applaud the leadership and vision it took to get it rolling as well as the management and staff that will seemingly keep it rolling for many years. Enjoy!!!

The Pizza Press – Menu with Prices – 6079 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee

We stopped here during our vacation in Orlando, and it was a good decision. We weren’t sure what to expect walking into the Pizza Press, but we were quite surprised in what we found. If you’ve been to Blaze, then the concept is similar. Quick and fast personal pizza. They have quite a variety of signature pizzas, as well a build your own, with a pretty impressive list of ingredients to choose from. We ordered 2 of their signature pizzas, The Tribune and Chronicle. We did add a few things on both, and the service was happy to accommodate our requests. In fact, my wife took a while “building” her pizza, and there was nothing but smiles and laughing from the service team. Maybe it was because they weren’t too busy when we arrived, but it was nice to see. We got one of their specials, which was 2 pizzas and drinks. We got seated and waited for our pizzas. While we waited we noticed all the newspaper inspired items around the place, and realize that was the whole concept of the Pizza Press. Interesting. Our pizzas came and both were quite delicious. The sweet Italian sausage on the Tribune was a hit with me, while the all the veggies on the Chronicle were very good and tasty. We couldn’t finish either, with a few slices left, so we got a to-go box for them and took it back to our hotel (I did have some the next day). Overall, The Pizza Press offered a very tasty pizza and the service was great. If we vacation in Orlando (or down by Celebration, Fl), we will at least know of a pizza place we enjoyed.

Sett Recreation and Sett Pub – Menu with Prices – 1308 W Dayton St room 105, Madison

The Sett is not a five-star, super amazing dining experience, but it provides hot food, plenty of seating, and really nice student employees. The fries are so greasy, but they’re so good. Most of the food is fried, and now that I think about it, I’ve never seen anyone eating one of their 2 or 3 salad menu items offered. For “vegetarian options,” you’re definitely limited; it’s either a salad, fries and cheese curds, or a black bean burger that surely came frozen. I’m a huge fan of sauces, and not only that, I’m a huge fan of dipping my food IN those sauces. I avoid putting the said sauces on my veggie burger or whatever it is so that I can dip my food in the sauces. Anyways, the Sett has a “get-your-own sauces bar” with barbecue, ketchup, yellow mustard, honey mustard, and RANCH. Sometimes they run out of ranch because it’s delicious, but if you let them know they’ll replace it before you’re done eating your side of fries. The place can be really loud when they’re playing something on TV, a concert is going on, or it’s trivia night. The line can also be really long at popular times, but it moves fairly quickly. Come eat outside in the summertime and expect to feel: a little bloated and a lot of contentment.

Ristorante Giuseppe – Menu with Prices – 13610 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale

Wanted to eat here and stopped by to say hello to check out this restaurant for dinner after lunch rush. The reviews have been great and made a special stop to see Giuseppe’s. I assume owner (believe the owner) was either annoyed, just short and somewhat rude to us and outright not very warm to new customers. Not very inviting to want to go there. We were Not out of line in any way. We just wanted to see the menu and said we’d be back for dinner. It was obvious he had no interest in making us feel welcome. Apparently he’s busy enough and doesn’t need any new customers. I understand restaurants totally. My family’s business in Fla. was restaurants. Successful because we served good food and service but always welcomed guests and made them feel special. Most Italians myself included are warm and inviting Thanks for letting me share. Very disheartening

topp?t Handcrafted Pizzas + Chopped Salads – Menu with Prices – 323 W Cardinal Blvd, Louisville

I know this location is still fairly new, but their customer service is crap. I had lunch with a friend here and we ordered two pizzas(keep in mind these pizzas are small personal pizzas) and a s’more. We had been seated for almost 20 minutes before they brought the pizzas out and when they did, we reminded the woman that we ordered s’mores and she said they would be out soon. We didn’t realize til the end of our 35 minute lunch that we never got the s’mores, so we had to leave the table to ask about them and they didn’t come out for another 15 minutes. They never gave any sort of apologies. On another account, my girlfriend went there yesterday 15 minutes before they closed(enough time to heat up a tiny pizza) and all the workers were very rude to her, as if she had showed up with 1 minute to spare. It was not okay, and I have worked in several customer service jobs and food service jobs so I understand working in customer service and having customers show up close to your closing time sucks, but when you still have 15 minutes to service a simple to-go order, you have no reason to make indirect comments about what time it is and glare at the customer, ESPECIALLY when the customer is nothing but nice to you. Otherwise, the food is good and I love the selection and the prices are off the chain, but if you want to be treated like shit by employees who obviously don’t like their own jobs and don’t know how to treat a fresh face with respect just because they’re having a bad day, go ahead on down to this Topp’t!!!

Blaze Pizza – Menu with Prices – 2348 Citadel Way #101, Melbourne

Blaze Pizza is much like the Chipotle of Pizza. Here you can customize your pizza to your liking. Kudos for having an option for vegans as they offer both vegan cheese & vegan chorizo. There are several signature pizzas w/ popular favorites along w/ calories listed. Probably the most popular choice here is the customizable Build Your Own Pizza. Choose your crust from original, thick crust, or cauliflower crust for gluten-free folks. Several sauces to choose from such as classic red sauce or spicy red sauce. Cheeses including vegan cheese options. etc. I opted for customizable Build Your Own Pizza w/ original crust, spicy red sauce, vegan cheese, vegan chorizo, & unlimited veggies. The toppings here hit the spot as lots of selections for those plant strong folks as the veggie toppings were plentiful, tasty, & nourishing. The pizzas are fast fired in 180 seconds in the oven. Fast, friendly service, & affordable. Found this to be one of the best vegan pizzas I’ve had in a long time for the fresh veggie toppings alone. Felt the crust could have been a bit firmer. The atmosphere pretty similar to dining at a Chipotle yet the vegan pizza hit the spot. I was able to finish the whole pie as was satisfying w/ just the right amount of food. Look forward to subsequent visits here.

Chef Lee & Pickle Barrel Deli Menu with Prices 1565 Bragaw St #103, Anchorage

With two chinese restaurants being in such close proximity you would think one of them would have given up the location and moved elsewhere but when you try this sit down restaurant the experience is far different from that of Pink Peppers. For one I actual got a metal fork (PP only has plastic utensils) and actual dipping pans for the sweet and sour sauce whereas PP just places a plastic dipping cup on the plate as well as a glass with ice. Yeah yeah this may just be table presentation but this goes to show that Chef Lees actual invests more into giving their customers a more at home dining experience.
