If only Seattle could get one of these franchises! Sweet rolled taco was a gorgeous little spot, tucked away in a little mini plaza that didn’t look like much. Their staff was extremely fun and very knowledgeable. Found this location on a Yelp search, so thankful we did. We tried multiple things because we have never been somewhere like this. We loved that you could get your choice of waffle color, choose a custom flavor or a fun combo. They had unique names too like 24k, grahamys. We were super happy with everything and wish we would have found them sooner. It was a pleasant surprise and very aesthetic. Teal and purple taco- Monster’s Ink- oreo and chocolate chip icecream Rainbow taco- Rainbow Road- fruity pebble icecream with cotton candy whip cream and we also got a few milkshakes. Rainbow road shake, cookies and cream, and a taro shake.

cold stone creamery – Menu with Prices – 1877 E Williams Field Rd Suite 105, Gilbert

We rarely come out to get ice cream because I have kids that have but allergies. We sometimes go to Baskin Robbins and the owner never had a problem to make sure the ice cream is safe as it could be for the kids to eat it. To my surprise the girl at Cold Stone did give me a warning when I was making sure the ice cream was nut free. She went out of her way to mix the ice cream somewhere in the back to make it. I guess there was a misunderstanding and I thought she communicated to her partner that there was a nut allergy. He made a shake and handed it to my son and she made a shake as well. When she came from the back to give us the shake I said her partner already made my son one. It was evident that she was flustered and left us the second shake. I apologize for the miscommunication it is a little noisy with the freezers and radio and didnâ??t understand what was going on. What I would like you to know is that we rarely go out to get ice cream. We are not familiar with cold stone procedures or menus but I am still appreciative of your efforts to make sure my children were as safe as much as they could be. Iâ??m sorry if you might have to deal with rude people in the world but I say Thank you .

The Healthy Hub – Menu with Prices – 777 E Barstow Ave Ste A, Fresno

My sister and I went into The Healthy Hub this morning for the first time after we were leaving the gym. She had been referred by a coworker of hers to give it a try earlier that week. As soon as we entered the building the staff was friendly, upbeat, and extremely welcoming. The Hub has a modern aesthetic yet to my surprise it still had a comfortable and fun atmosphere. Now on an empty stomach I ordered a raspberry tea with cranberry aloe around 10:30am and didnâ??t feel hungry until 4pm later that day. My sister had the combo which consisted of a tea and shake. She text me about 20 minutes later and explained to me she had enough energy to run a few extra miles when she got home and credits the shake for that. As we left the staff welcomed us to return again and advised us that we could bring our own mug or mason jar if weâ??d like too. So thumbs up for their environmentally conscious approach. My next visit I will be dragging the Husband along to see what he thinks!

Taco Grill #2 – Menu with Prices – # D, 2590 Newport Blvd # D, Costa Mesa

I had such a great experience here! Came on a taco Tuesday around 8:15pm, and it wasn’t super crowded at all. I found seating easily in their small space. They offer 4 different tacos on Taco Tuesday for $1.50 – super worth. I got one of each. Unfortunately I can’t remember which ones they were but it’s listed on the front of their door. The tortilla is slightly bigger than your average taco, and each taco comes with two tortillas. The tacos are filled w more meat than usual I’d say. There’s a self serve station that has 3 different types of salsa. I would say each of them is around medium spice level, which I love! There’s also self serve cucumbers, chopped purple onion + jalapeño, pepper, and lemons. Four tacos made me way too full, I’d definitely stick to three next time considering how filling each one is. My favorite taco by far was their blackened fish taco which was flavorful and tender! Idk if to go orders receive this as well, but I got complimentary chips when I dined in. The staff was also super nice. Overall, not a life changing place, but super worth it for the price (I paid $6 + tax)! I’d definitely check it out!

Mr B’s Big Scoop – Menu with Prices – 8399 SW 80th St Suite 16, Ocala

My Parents live in OTOW so I’ve been here a handful of times when I come from NC to visit. It’s cheaper to buy grocery store ice cream for the price. In NC for less we have homemade icecream shops and you get huge portions, can’t say the same for this place. They never seem to have but the basic favors. I go in here because it makes my dad happy and if he’s happy I’m happy. But ripping off the seniors is not what makes me happy and not very nice to do! Hopefully Colon puts something else way better in place of this shop because I told my parents I would rather parch than go here lol.

Taqueria Tex-Taco – Menu with Prices – 2864 Katy Hockley Cut Off Rd, Katy

Top of the morning my fellow Yelpers. So my wife and I decided this morning that we were in the mood for breakfast tacos. Yeah, we could have made our own but neither of us wanted to do it so we decided to head out for breakfast. We jumped on Yelp as usual and to our surprise, the Katy area has an array of breakfast taco’s spots. After looking at a few places, we decided on Taqueria Tex-Taco. We have driven past there 100 to times as the road that they sit off of is the road we take to get to I- 10. So let’s get to the food, I got a Randy Taco, Breakfast Burrito and a Jimmy Taco, wife had 3 Randy Taco’s…….folks the flavors are out of bounds! The moment that the flavor hits your pallet, boom goes the dynamite. We have had some pretty darn good breakfast taco’s and made some darn good ones but these right here are the truth and will blow your mind folks. I had the pleasure of being in the US Navy and was a West Coast Sailor who spent many weekends in Tijuana and these took me back to one of my favorite spots to get breakfast taco’s in northern Mexico. As for the decor, well it is basic but as I always say, “are you there to eat or are you there to live”! The staff are extremely friendly and somehow, they knew we were first timers. The tomatillo sauce that was recommended was outstanding. My only critique would be the red sauce. I tried it and it was okay, not bad but not great. Other than that the whole experience was pretty good. So if you are out and about in Katy looking for some authentic Tex-Mex for breakfast, stop by this place folks. You will be happy that you did. There are only 2 places that I will go to for breakfast taco’s in Houston, and now I can say, there are 3 places now! As always, thanks for reading, my fellow Yelpers.

The Great Gadsby Bakery – Menu with Prices – 1030 S Gilbert Town Square Ave, Gilbert

If you haven’t been to this place you are definitely missing out. You gotta go like “NOW” This place has been on my bookmark forever. Finally made my time to visit this great bakery. I say great because it’s one of the best around in the valley. It is conveniently located on the corner of the Gilbert town square. It was Friday and the day of cake shakes. As I entered the store it was so packed there was no seating and had to wait in line to order. That being said it was very well organized. The people were super friendly and lovely service. We were given a number and when called upon we could order our cake shake. It was the last cake shake of the season and it had to be Pumpkin. The shake came along with a pumpkin chocolate chip cookie icecream sandwich, a mini scone with maple glaze and a mini pumpkin cheese cupcake. This was so huge that it took two people to finish it. Totally delicious the flavor was just right and the pumpkin was not over powering at all. I wish this cake shake continued round the year. I also went with their vanilla eclair and it was creamy, fruity and tasty. They have macaroons, cupcakes, tarts, pies, you name a dessert and they have it. This place takes you to Britain and back. The price is definitely on higher side and expensive considering the market around but it’s one of a kind. This place is a must visit if you haven’t and I highly recommend it.

Emack & Bolio’s Menu with Prices 366 Delaware Ave, Albany

Oh, E+B. That was soooo good. Can I have another?? Woman wanted Ice Cream on a Saturday after a run. Always game for a cool treat after the torture of a 5k. So I did my usual. Put “Ice cream” into a yelp search, and up pops Emack and Bolio. I was like… who? Did some reading, looked at pictures, and decided this was where we were going. I do like some soft serve and froyo, especially if there’s alot of flavor selection, but I always look for a good hand packed regular ice cream also, and tend to err in that direction. In we walk. Smells like an ice cream shop. They have a chocolates case. Being on somewhat of a diet, I avoided it. I will partake one day, just not today. Nice selection of all different flavors too. It all sounded and looked very good. The selection of ice cream flavors was what you would expect. The old standbys and a mix of unique also. “Deep purple cow” and “Chunk ‘O Funk” for examples. She chose the vanilla bean speck with chocolate and peanut butter toppings. I went with cake batter with rainbow sprinkles. (Of course). Anybody who has read my reviews knows how I feel about rainbow sprinkles. I also went with a waffle cone bowl. With chocolate coating. And rainbow sprinkles. (See above). Not a fan of the cone so much. I always feel rushed to pound down the cone before it melts and ends up all over my hand and shirt. I would much rather get a bowl and take my time. Savor it at my own pace. She raved about her selection, and I am here to expound on mine. The cake batter ice cream was spectacular. Cake batter base with chunks of yellow and chocolate cake mixed in. So darn good, I am already thinking about going back again. Not overly sweet either. Very well done. And although I’m not a fan of waffle cone either, it was also spectacular. The whole combination just worked very very well. I’ll be back for more for sure. I gave you five stars because you deserve five stars. I was going to subtract one for the cost, but after some thought, I am willing to pay the extra to get a product that rings all the bells. And that’s exactly what this did. No conversation, just the two of us going “Mmmmm” and “Oh my”. For cost perspective: One single scoop coated waffle bowl with two toppings, and one double scoop coated waffle bowl with rainbow sprinkles ? It came to just over $13.00. That could be a bit much for some. As I said, I have no problem with it when the product matches the price.

Homemade 48 Flavors Ice Cream – Menu with Prices – 352 26th Ave N, St. Petersburg

Delicious sorbets and almond milk ice-creams (vegan friendly)! So happy to see a place that caters for everyone, including having a stevia sweetened chocolate sorbet which is hands down the best and richest chocolate icecream I have ever had. The peach sorbet even has actual peach in it and was a delight. The almond milk maple walnut icecream was delicious and I think non vegans wouldn’t even be able to tell the difference. Can’t wait to try any new vegan flavours that pop up

Nutrition 360 – Menu with Prices – 1705 Standiford Ave, Modesto

Came here bc I wasn’t really hungry during lunch, also feeling a little bloated so I didn’t want to eat just to eat! Thought a meal replacement shake would do the job! Came in and was greeted by Lili who helped me choose a shake I might like. She was super informative and helpful! I didn’t buy the aloe or tea, but she did give me a sample of the tea which I did not care for. The shake did its job but I wasn’t like “OMG, this stuff’s amazingly delicious”. It’s a meal replacement shake so I guess maybe it’s not supposed to be that tasty? I did like it, but not the $6 price! I wouldn’t mind paying $4, maybe even $5! I might be back though!

La Michoacána Delicias – Menu with Prices – 700 N Riverside Dr Suite B, Clarksville

Two questions after visiting this place: 1). Why didn’t I come here sooner? and 2). Why aren’t more people in here on a hot Saturday afternoon? but seriously, I LOVE Mexican snacks, paletas, aguas frescas and ice cream. I never would have thought I could find a taste of home here in good ole Clarksville… but La Michoacana delivered on quality, cost and vibe. I ate my mangonada and tostitos locos (with hot Cheetohs instead) while listening to Selena, next to bright purple and pink walls. I’m sad to be leaving the area soon, but I’m going to make it a point to stop here at least once more to try the elote, horchata and tres leches. Whether you’re from Texas, California, Mexico, or anywhere else – you’ll find something you’ve been craving from home here! Even if you aren’t familiar with Mexican snacks, go try their freshly churned ice cream or paletas “popsicles.” You can visually see the ice cream flavors and ask for samples, just like any other ice cream spot.

Monnette’s Market – Menu with Prices – 5717 Secor Rd, Toledo

On a hunt for purple sweet potatoes, I am lead to Monnette’s Market. My daughter wanted to make a purple sweet potato pie so we had to get purple sweet potatoes. I call around and we were excited to find out that Monnette’s did indeed carry them. We get in the car and head to our destination. As we walked through the door I instantly knew I would be back. I just love farmers market and this one was quite nice. Not only did they have a nice produce department, they also had a very nice selection of craft beer and wine. Nice! We did find our purple potatoes, however when we got home and really looked at them they were not purple sweet potatoes, but just purple potatoes. That was my fault. It was an exhausting day and I just grabbed a purple potato. â? BTW The purple potatoes made a delicious Sweet Purple Potato Pie! We will still return to get the right potatoes next time. Monnette’s also has a deli, bulk items, and a large selection of specialty foods.

Zero Degrees – Menu with Prices – 1777 Coburg Rd, Eugene

Update: I went back and this time, got the ube milkshake and elotes with cajun fries. The ube shake was great & creamy, but the lighting in the store doesn’t quite do it justice, washing out the purple. What’s the point of that?!? I came for the pics, so does that mean I have to bring my own lighting?? Smh. I might have to bring a whole setup next time I go. On top of that, ube isn’t ube unless it looks so purple that if you don’t know any better, it might seem poisonous. Jokes aside, I love ube, and would probably think about getting it again once I try other flavors and split cups. I think the shake actually was super purple, but we went after sundown so it looked a bit less so. My friend got a strawberry peach and it was pretty dang red and pretty dang good too. Refreshing af. Continued the theme of flavors I don’t usually like (peach) and making them into a drink I like! Somehow zero degrees is magical like that. We also forgot to ask for boba because we’re illiterate science and social science grads and can’t read menus unless they’re only pictures. Elotes were pretty good, I like the taste, but some people said they use canned corn to make it. Tbh it’s not a huge deal for me. It was good anyway, but a tiny bit watery. Nbd though. the cajun fries tho…THE CAJUN FRIES THO. ABSOLUTELY pretty good. I liked em, they paired well with the elotes. Very nice. Still 3 stars because we illiterates need more pics on the menu, especially ones that tell us to specifically order boba. We also need a special corner where the lighting is perfect to take pics of the drinks. Maybe a drink photo booth? Things are also slightly pricey, but you can’t blame a ~trendy~ place for it. Besides the Cajun fries, the rest of the food was OK, but nothing I’d go out of my way to get again. Maybe as I try more things, that’ll change. So far, the popcorn chicken is on top. Lastly, we decided that if the Cajun seasoning were on the popcorn chicken. It’d be the bomb dot com. They might already do that, but as we established, neither of us is capable of reading a menu.
