Didn’t really try the fancy stuff but not sure if I should either. Went in to get a sausage-egg-and cheese on a roll, nothing special I know, and it costs $4.50 + tax, so $4.90 total…. Who the heck charges damn near $5 for a generic sausage egg and cheese??? It’s not like it was bigger or extra tasty. I’ve had better elsewhere for much cheaper. Usually no more than $3 or $3.50. What I got today was pretty rip off. Yeah I haven’t tried their other food yet but highly doubt that I would go back to try them. God knows how much they charge for the other stuff.

Elmo’s Pizza & Subs – Menu with Prices – 10040 Lima Rd, Fort Wayne

Good pizza, the thin Italian sausage pretty much taste like New York shop street vender pizza, but much cheaper! That good tomato sauce taste from Sicily. Cheese is nice oh yeah taste like real mozzarella cheese, hey get a clue? it must be real mozzarella! The Italian sausage is like tiny spicy meatballs that melt right in your mouth…Homemade tasting too! What a pizza, even if it’s from a gas station, your taste buds won’t know any difference Son! Cheap too, oh yeah good deals and specials on these Elmo meals n deals and Pizza too! PIZZA FTW! Love these Pizza’s real authentic too! and taste like it’s from New York City! Thin and cheaper! Do you and get you one Son! Good Pizza

Moe’s Broadway Bagel – Menu with Prices – 3267 28th St, Boulder

Spent $5 on salty water. Bought a medium iced Americano, asked for minimal water, and an extra shot. She put two shots (should be 4) into an overflowing cup of lukewarm water with two ice cubes. Had to pour out after trying. While I don’t mind their bagels, they charge an extra $1.50 for plain cream cheese per bagel. The cream cheese costs more than the bagel itself. So I bought half a dozen, then bought my own cheese at Safeway and saved enough for next months rent. They also charge $10 for a mediocre bagel breakfast sandwich. Not worth it. Buy the bagels made fresh at CU market’s, cheaper and comes with free cream cheese.

Toro Brazilian Steakhouse – Menu with Prices – 135 Church St, New Haven

Sadly not much has changed with the change in management. Prices are still too high (12.99 a lb for lunch) and too much fat on the meat that is inedible. Just paid 13+ change for my lunch and disappointed. The Greek salad has no flavor At all and the meat/chicken itself was luke warm and not very tasty. As you can see I cut a good portion of my garlic sirloin off because it was inedible grizzle. The vegetables were still very hard and the sauces I got weren’t good. The pork sausage was tasty though. There are so many types of these restaurants in CT and this one is always just so below the other ones. And they are much cheaper as well at 9.99 per lb! As someone doing Keto I was happy they reopened and was hoping it be an improvement from the previous ownership but it’s not. I won’t be going back.

La Paloma Taqueria – Menu with Prices – 14035 Coit Rd, Dallas

Iâ??ve tasted more authentic food elsewhere for a cheaper price. Also, the prices on the website need to be updated because when you actually go to pick up the order and pay the prices turn out to be different! Another very odd and ridiculous thing is that they charge for the to go containers. Who does that?? food was good, definitely not bad but like I said Iâ??ve tasted better authentic Mexican food elsewhere for a cheaper price!

Tu Ranchito – Menu with Prices – 3300 E 4th Ave, Hialeah

Pupusas! This little unassuming Salvadorian restaurant in Hialeah isn’t bad (except the almost non-existent parking in front). Me and the boyfriend went a week ago and tried their pupusas(kinda like an arepa but not sweet) with coleslaw and hot sauce, and it was pretty tasty. We also tried an elote, like a sweet corn tamale, which was pretty good.. I don’t know how much they cost but it was somewhere around $5-$6 for both. Not bad. Last night, we were back in Hialeah so we decided to try a full-out meal which was pretty good actually, but kinda pricey for Salvadorian (similar to Mexican) food. I got the Taquitos and boyfriend got churrasco steak (I posted pics). The steak was $11 but it’s $7 if you get it for during lunch. The taquitos were crispy with shredded meat.. but it came with coleslaw with parmesean cheese on top?! huh! yeah but pretty tasty anyways. The churrasco came with salad, beans and platanos…. steak was ok, but mmmmmmm those bananas were awesome. ? Overall the food tasted good and offered variety in a cuban area, but value wise I’d go for the Cuban food in the area, cheaper and better, come on its Hialeah.

Blues City Deli – Menu with Prices – 2438 McNair Ave, St. Louis

Sweet Baby Jesus thank you for creating the man and his talents to create sandwiches in such a manner! Yes this place has five stars for a reason. I will more than likely repeat what has already been said with so many positive reviews but I’m totally fine with being the 146,236,587 reviewer. “Picture this….Sicily 1932” (totally quoting the Golden Girls and have the year wrong but who cares the sandwich is what is important). Out of town for work…checked Yelp as I always do for awesome feedback and BAM…..a five star deli with literally thousands of reviews . Do you see the size of my sandwich? Yeah and it was only $7.00! I ate the whole thing. I couldn’t control myself! I had the spicy beef and cheddar. They make their roast beef in house as well as their special sauce. I am pretty sure there is a fairy in the back sprinkling unicorn dust on every single item back there. The bread was soft and pillowy. The sandwich was warm, beefy and cheesy. The ambience is really cool. They play blues music with all kind of art on the walls dedicated to that era. The staff dresses the part as well. I am thinking I could move to the Midwest just for deli purposes alone. I look at sandwiches differently after this trip. I return home to Atlanta tomorrow and I highly doubt I will choose a sandwich place for lunch/dinner any time soon. I will without a doubt be highly disappointed as nothing compares to the sandwiches here.

Jennyâ??s Jamaican Food – Menu with Prices – 7337 SE Foster Rd, Portland

Fresh and authentic and affordable Jamaican food. The menu is simple is straight forward. Iâ??ve tried most dishes, and all are very tasty. Also, great prices! (This cart does not charge for the â??cultural exchangeâ?? via the experience eating at the cart.) I would highly recommend! Located 74th and foster , with other seemingly great spots also! The Only con I can think of, is the lack of tasty beverages like teas, lunches, juices etc Also, check hours before going. Other than that, Cheers to some tasty affordable Jamaican food pdx!

Jersey Brothers Pizza & Pasta – Menu with Prices – 8744 E State Rd 70, Bradenton

I ordered two pizzas last night the special ,One Cheese only , one with sausage ,Which we love sausage and got mushrooms and onions I asked for a little extra sausage which I got , it was extremely crumbly little bitty tiny pieces and it was the weirdest tasting sausage ever !! I like chunks of sausage on my pizza , Because I’m from Chicago , I like the flat big square pieces also , Which a lot of jersey Restaurants do , I’m married to a man from Jersey also an Executive Chef for years But he never complains he knows how it is sometimes being on the other end but he also knows great food !! he introduced me to all kinds of jersey pizza but this freaking sausage tasted weird and after taste , Maybe it was time to start fresh get a better line of sausage ? Pizza Hut sausage is better than this Seriously I Musta got bad sausage or you need to change it , We were brand new customers and very excited .. Then very disappointed , I told the girl on the phone too it was our first time ordering , A guy, maybe a Jersey brother ??? his back was to us , never said welcome or Hello !!! Girl at the register just did her job checked us out! My restaurant I’d be all over customer service!! I haven’t tried anything else but definitely don’t want the pizza! Never put a bad review on Yelp!!

Orlando Meats – Menu with Prices – 728 Virginia Dr, Orlando

I’m going to be blasphemous and say that I didn’t love this place. If you want to buy meats and related items, you are much better off to go to the Local Butcher & Market in Winter Park. Their section is MUCH bigger and in many cases, a little less spendy (not to mention their absolutely top notch customer service.) Of course, you cannot sit down and get a meal there like you can at Orlando Meats. However, don’t expect to be able to alter your selection. The medium rare burger is just that, and if you remember that 600 people became gravely ill from under cooked meat at Jack in the Box you know that ground meat should be cooked to an internal temperature of 150 degrees ( according to UF Inst. of Food & Ag Sciences). While I would expect Orlando Meats to take great care in not exposing customers to e coli, being locally sourced and whatnot, even the remotest risk of dying whilst painting the walls brown is simply not worth it for a burger in my opinion. And if you have a compromised immune system (i.e. going through chemo treatment) such a burger is generally verboten. ) Could one get the Basico and ask for different cheese? Apparently not since the menu states in capital letters “SUBSTITUTIONS POLITELY DECLINED” I had a tasty waffle with fermented banana syrup topped with toffee crumbles and cubed, fried chicken sausage. I didn’t realize the sausage would be on the spicy side. My husband, who is not a wimp like I am, tried it and agreed it was hot not to mention heavy on the sage. Still, I paid $12 for the dish so I powered through. The heartburn kicked in quickly and the indigestion lasted for hours. I loved the waffle but the chicken sausage, not so much. I would definitely go back again for this and ask for eggs in lieu of sausage but the rules say I can’t. Poop. The husband had the Poultrygeist and was concerned about the pickled radish. He had tried it once years ago and found it horrible but said the radish on the sandwich was quite good. He enjoyed it but also suffered the consequences for hours afterward. I’ll spare you the details. This place has great decor and you can pick up some eggs, meats, broths and the link while you are there. The staff are all friendly and the service was efficient. And I regret not trying a donut because they looked delicious. I find their militant anti substitution policy off putting, especially given the prices they charge, so I doubt I will ever be back. Meh.

New York Bagel & Deli – Menu with Prices – 3720 W Lake Rd, Erie

I cannot rate this place highly enough. The customer service was fantastic and our breakfast sandwiches were so delicious. My boyfriend and I both had an egg, cheese, and sausage veggie bagel. After we checked out, we saw the immense selection of homemade cream cheese and decided to order another plain bagel to try the cream cheese. She gave us extra bagels. We joked with them that we would drive the whole way to Erie (from Altoona, PA) just for a bagel but we think now after trying the cream cheese we really would, haha! What better way to word this review than to say, “Would Drive 4 hours for these bagels.” 10/10

Munchies Pizza – Menu with Prices – 695 W Virginia St, Tallahassee

We went to Munchies Pizza last night and were not disappointed. The owner was there making the pizzas and he was beyond friendly and accommodating. He custom made a pizza for us that wasnâ??t even on the menu based off of our preferences. We got a white pizza (the base was garlic butter and Parmesan) with spinach, mushrooms and sausage. He even put less sausage on one half of the pizza knowing that one of us was more of a fan of sausage than another. The pizza was delicious. Perfectly cooked bottom with a crispy crust. Definitely did not skimp on toppings or cheese. They have only been open for 2 weeks and I will definitely be back. The owner said he really wanted to get the doors open and get people starting to try their food, but will be making tweaks over time and is even working on a vegan menu. He gave us a 50% off coupon for next time we come, and even gave us an order of their cinnabites to take home on the house. Highly recommended!

Can Can Wonderland – Menu with Prices – 755 Prior Ave N #004, St Paul

Visited Can Can Wonderland on evening of September 14th 2019. 1) Checked on website and noted a $5.00 cover charge Friday / Saturday nights after 8:30 p.m. So I made sure we got there before 8:30 p.m. to avoid the cover charge as we were just there for the arcade games and not live music. Instead we were charged $2.00 (each) entrance fee even though there is no mention of THIS fee on the website. 2) We were encouraged to buy a 60 minute card for $18.00 which means you have to play 36 games in 60 minutes. Many of the games were out of order or had not been turned on when we were there. (Noticed that a whole room of pinballs were not working because someone hadn’t turned on the power). It would have been cheaper to pay per machine. 3} The place was hotter than hell and humid with no apparent air movement. Facilities were poorly maintained (stairwell rails hadn’t been maintained in years) signage was negligible, and the place has zero sound dampening. 4) Arcade machine maintenance was non existent with many machines out of order and the machines that were suppose to work had broken flippers, broken card swipes, etc. As an arcade, their competitors are much better and cheaper. I used no other parts of the venue so I won’t comment on anything else.
