Sri Windsor, you saucy little minx, you! I love you! When I moved to LA I did not have a car for the first four months I lived here and my stomach relied solely on places that deliver. My choices in Los Feliz/Atwater were pretty limited, not to mention insanely expensive, but I found my champion in Sri Windsor. The delivery is super quick and I never once had an issue with delayed service or my order being incorrect. The delivery driver was super friendly, as well. The food is amazing. The pineapple curry is my favorite and comes in mild, medium and hot. Beware – The hot will melt your mouth, throat and internal organs. I lather my food in Sriracha normally, so I am no wimp when it comes to heat. Their hot though, PHEW! Better be ready to call an AM-BA-LANCE! Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Their Thai tea is also amazing and is a dessert and a drink all rolled into one. The prices are super reasonable and they usually always have some sort of online coupon for something free or money off when you order online. Oh, that’s the other great thing! An authentic Thai restaurant with online ordering, it’s a God-send! My one and only complaint is that they are not open on weekends. There is nothing better than Thai food to nurse a wicked hangover and Sri Windsor is closed on my hangover re-cooperation days. SAD! It’s okay though, I still love you Sri Windsor.

Thai Lanna Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 2401 Bank St, Ottawa

We tried this place shortly after moving here when we were getting back into town late and too exhausted to cook. While it was good, we haven’t been back – though I wouldn’t say no if it was proposed. This is pretty good Thai food, but not as good as what we were used to back home in Windsor (which is blessed with a downtown spot called Basil Court that all Windsor expats worth their salt miss). The wait staff were very friendly but slow and the food (from what I can remember) was decent, but not enough that we’ve rushed back, since I can make as good or better Thai at home, especially with a T&T in the city for the right ingredients. The one thing that was memorable is a tasty fresh chili sauce that was available to kick up the spice in the dishes, which was disappointingly low. (For Thai? Seems odd.) If it was the only Thai place around we’d give it another try.

Mario’s Delivery – Menu with Prices – 607 Andrew Jackson Way NE, Huntsville

I couldnâ??t get the online ordering to work, however I called and a young man tried to help but said I couldnâ??t use the online coupon, but he made a wise decision and passed me to a young lady that took my order and the coupon. The Parmesan fried zucchini was AMAZING! Great portion size and flavor. I would have preferred my Black and Blue Sandwich to have been toasted, but thatâ??s just me. The fries had a good flavor. Awesome salad! The Strawberry Pretzel Dessert was small for the price and okay. Delivery was fast and a great delivery person! But I am definitely going to order again and try some other things!

zen’Za Pizzeria – Menu with Prices – 71 King St, London

We travelled to Niagara Falls for the day and on our way back home we passed through London and were looking for a place to eat that would please one son who’s a picky eater and a vegetarian International student from Spain. Well this place was a hit!!! Beyond any pizza we ever had and that includes all of Windsor. It was fresh and loaded with toppings. Everyone was so friendly and we felt like we were their guests over for dinner! Love the atmosphere as well! We will definitely be back because I am not sure if they are willing to deliver to Windsor!ð???

Disfruta ATX Menu with Prices 4709 Airport Blvd, Austin

They have the most authentic Micheladas in austin! They have different topping options available, like ceviche, or fruit, or aguachiles. Each drink is about 32 ounces of a tomato/ veggie base mixed with lots of lime and spices and topped with Mexican beer. It’s the perfect cure for a hangover, or super refreshing on a hot ass day, or a whole meal if you’re juicing. They also have tacos!! They’ll let you try their mix before you buy the drink. They’re amazing.

Shaba Thai Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 561 Portage Ave, Winnipeg

This is hands down our favorite Thai restaurant. We have traveled through Thailand and Shaba Thai is very authentic. (Just a note, one thing we would love to see on the menu is a very popular snack in Thailand – sweet sticky coconut rice with fresh mango… hint, hint ð???) We have several favorite dishes – red curry soup with chicken (which I could literally eat every day for the rest of my life), fried rice with pork, pad siew, pad Thai and more! We order take out regularly, at least once every week or two. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Staff is always friendly and try very hard to provide good service, which they do. Since theyâ??ve taken some holidays this winter Iâ??ve seriously been heartbroken! I can hardly wait till they are back and I can get my Shaba Thai fix!

Cha Baa Thai Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 1546 Queen St, Halifax

I’ve eaten red Thai chicken in every Thai restaurant in the city and this place had the worst. This is the worse Thai food I’ve ever tasted anywhere and I’ve even eaten it in small towns, with caucasian cooks. It was almost inedible. Too hot, unbalanced, too sour. Just weird tasting. Too much vinegar! It was a total mess. Even the rice was mushy and seemed like it had been cooked a few days ago. Their spring rolls were tough and flavorless. I really did not believe anyone could make Thai food taste so bad. Unfortunately, the food was actually better than the service! Warning: do not eat here! Terrible service. Dishonest, rude and unethical. Remarkably horrible experience. Given who works here, I would not trust this place for food safety either. I specifically called to see if there was a delivery charge since I was at a cafe right next to the restaurant. My place is just a few blocks away. Three times she said that there was no delivery charge. Instead of picking it up, I decided to walk home since delivery was free. Then it turns out the delivery fee is $6! When I realized how much more the cost was than what I ordered, based on what she originally quoted on the phone, I called. She denied saying there was no delivery charge after me, originally, asking 3 times! I asked if she was going to deduct the delivery fee this time. She said she “knew my address well” and, therefore, I should have known there was a fee. I had never ordered there before let alone for delivery. She lied again! Instead of making a customer happy and trying to develop a relationship, she actually canceled the order! Ya, she really did. Lol. And I was trying to be calm and polite on the phone. Why did she cancel the order? Because the delivery man had already picked it up and paid for it out of HIS pocket. It was a private delivery service. He was getting the $6 delivery fee. She didn’t care that he’d be out the money. Wow. Very poor integrity. Never again. There are far better Thai restaurants around with decent staff. She was very inflexible and rude. She even lied…twice! She did not care about her delivery service. She, essentially, set it up so the delivery person would be stuck with the food, after he paid for it, and without his delivery fee-payment. Yes, of course, I did pay the delivery guy. He didn’t do anything wrong. The woman on the phone is just about the bottom line and that does not sit well with me. She purposed lied THREE TIMES about not having a delivery fee, due to my close vicinity, so as to not dissuade my order. This is also misleading: if the delivery guy was getting paid $6 for delivery, and I didn’t know it was a private service, I would have added an additional 15% for the tip! Excuse the hyperbole, but do people have to re-mortgage their homes to have a little Thai food delivered these days? Truly outrageous. I paid a lot for, basically, dog food. Never again. Do not eat here. People like this should not be working in food services, and this restaurant does not deserve your money. Spend it elsewhere on good food.

Noodle Palace – South East Asian Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 1310 Petaluma Hill Rd, Santa Rosa

If I had written a review in 2011, (why didn’t I write a review in 2011?!) it would have been five stars: delicious food, reasonable prices, friendly staff. But now, in 2019 draw a big fat permanent sharpie line through “reasonable prices”. They charge extra for every single thing they can. I went here last month and when I asked to see a breakdown of how one order of pho, one order of spring rolls, a Thai Tea, and a banh mi totaled nearly $40, I saw this: -The prices on the menu aren’t current. Everything seems to be a dollar (or two!) more -Paying nearly $9 for spring rolls is a mistake I will not make again -Thai Tea is $4 if I recall correctly. Again, way too many dollars! -$.50 charge for dipping sauce. $.50 to $1.00 charge for each to-go container!! This is absurd and not posted anywhere on the menu or otherwise! -$3.00 charge to pay with a card. This used to be one of my very favorite restaurants that I would recommend to anyone and everyone. I no longer recommend this place to anyone unless I want them to feel tricked by the hidden fees. These people should start a credit card company.

Chipotle Mexican Grill – Menu with Prices – 39779 Lyndon B Johnson Fwy Ste 110, Dallas

I made an online order for delivery, 2 steak burritos and a chicken bowl and one of the burritos had no meat in it, I called the store to see what could be done about it and they said I would need to come in person to get it fixed and that’s the only thing they could do. I even spoke with the manager and no apology. The reason I did delivery was for the convenience and because I was unable to go get my order in person and now the only way for them to fix it is for me to go out of my way and come in. How does this make sense? Pay delivery plus use my gas and time to go back so that they can give me what I paid for. Ridiculous

Papa Pizza Pie – Menu with Prices – 1105 S Euclid St #H, Fullerton

We don’t order pizza a lot, but we order several times a year for the past two years (only online) and our pizza has always been on time or early and still ready to eat, and tastes really great! It’s not loaded with a ton of oils from the cheese or meats on top. We love that you can make the pizza any way you want. It’s such a plus! Type of sauce, cheese, etc. It’s wonderful. Also, if you want to tip in cash, have it ready for your delivery person because they left so fast (probably to get his deliveries out on time) we didn’t give them the tip we had. Thank you! (Lastly, the price is very reasonable. I had a 2-topping medium pizza for $12.11 + $2.99 delivery fee. That’s a great price to choose my own toppings and delivery to downtown Anaheim. For those who feel like it’s cheaper to get a gigantic pizza from Costco for $9.95. You’re absolutely right. It’s cheaper, it’s larger, it’s supreme with everything. I don’t want a cheese, pepperoni or supreme. I want my own creation and Papa Pie is a local business owner. Of course it’s more expensive. Try owning your own restaurant. Costco closes at 6pm and doesn’t deliver. But Papa’s delivered my made to order pizza at 8:30pm. My husband and I believe in local businesses in our community. We’ll get Costco pizza another day.)

Hector’s Pizza & More – Menu with Prices – 12835 SW 42nd St, Miami

What’s the best thing for a hangover they said? PIZZA. Well not really… (oatmeal, bananas, honey are best and GATORADE!!) Anyways, so pizza, I always try to slide thru on a whim and try new places in the area. So my girl who is in hangover mode at home, says she wants pizza. I do my usual, Yelp for the nearest pizza spot and this place comes up with 3 reviews FRESH and no pic of store front (which I provided first for you guys), unless I didn’t then whatever. So I check out a few pics, looks good, I go on Grubhub, order and I get there at the appropriate pick up time and my food wasn’t made. Now I didn’t get upset because the lady who was helping me was super nice and apologized for my food not being made. Asked if I could wait 15 for the food, said I didn’t mind. While I was waiting she gave me a cup of water, and actually a small dessert on the house for their mistake. Alas, food was done, we said our goodbyes and off I go back home with pizza to the gf. My gf, the pizza connoisseur, tries and actually likes it. I eat my wings and they’re pretty good. Maybe the pizza could be a bit more crispy, it would’ve been on point. Definitely try it if you haven’t yet, doesn’t hurt to have another pizza spot in check just in case Papa Johns, Domimos, or Pizza Hut won’t hit the spot.

Around the World Cafe – Menu with Prices – 5110 Park Rd 1-K, Charlotte

We stopped by this little shop for some boba tea and was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of both the teas and ice creams. We ordered 2 Thai Milk Teas with Boba, Strawberry Milk with Boba, Milk Tea with Boba, and Hazel Nana ice cream. The Thai Milk Tea was super refreshing and the Strawberry Milk reminded me is my new favorite drink! I wish they served something similar at boba chains that are closer to me since this cafe is more local and probably isn’t a chain. The Milk Tea was also very delicious. The Hazel Nana ice cream was spectacular!! It was the best ice cream I’ve had in a while and it’s been a few days and I’m still thinking about it. It’s the best banana hazelnut flavored ice cream I’ve had in a while. Our server was also super nice and friendly while explaining menu items. The only minor complaint I have is that some of the drink menu items don’t have prices on them but their menu is written with chalk so I’m sure they could easily add the prices. Most drinks are between $3-$5 depending on the size and the drink (the pricing is similar to Starbucks). If I’m ever in the area I’m definitely stopping by again!
