My husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary with a party since we didn’t have a wedding reception. Nothing fancy just some friends and family at our church. We also never had a wedding cake so a friend and my Mom offered to get us one. I ordered the carrot cake with cream cheese because it’s my husband’s favorite. I showed a pic of one I liked and she far surpassed my expectations. First off the cake was the best ever! So delicious. Second it was beautiful. She specifically made me sugar tiger lillies for on top & butterflies. It was so beautiful and meant so much that she listened to my “theme” I wasn’t even asking for anything like that just a cake. She did it so it would be special. I saved those sugar sculptures and put them in a Tupperware dish. You have a loyal customer.

Wonder Cake Creations – Menu with Prices – 1464 Boulevard of the Arts, Sarasota

Wonder Cake Creations was one of my favorite wedding vendors. Cake has always been one of my favorite party essential! The cake must be beautiful and taste beautiful. In Sarasota, that’s hard to find! After trying to contact an bakery in LWR and having them lose my appointment I found Wonder Cake Creations and contacted them right away! David was able to get me in the same day for a consultation and then we scheduled a tasting. I fell in love with our wedding cake and the compliments have been so nice! Th cake was delicious and all around beautiful. We chose lemon raspberry and coconut pineapple! David and Rocio were such a pleasure to work with and their new location at the Rosemary District is amazing!

El Mega Sol Menu with Prices 400 Valley Ave, Birmingham

I booked this venue for my wedding in October of 2017. All my expectations were met and were even surpassed. Lorena was amazing in making sure we had everything we needed for our big day. She even went as far as assisting the day of the wedding with operations. The booking price was reasonable and much lower than other venues. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue and would definitely consider this locations again for any future events.

Sugar Sugar Cake Studio Inc – Menu with Prices – 387 N 2nd Ave, Phoenix

So very creative with their displays and absolutely wonderful sweet treats! Sugar Sugar provided the icing-on-the-cake (pun intended) for our day-after wedding party of 70 people at our home. The theme we asked them to create for us centered around a Western theme – something we thought the Canadian family members of the Bride would find novel, and very Arizona. And — did they ever deliver! They filled a very large table with every iconic symbol of the West: Wagon wheel, western horse saddle, cowboy boots, lanterns, steel washtub and horseshoe-framed picture frames used to label the offerings. Our directions to Ted (owner) were minimal. Ted exceeded our wildest expectations! This beautiful display was surrounded by scores of truffle-sized Chocolate, Vanilla, Red Velvet and Pistachio cake-pops. Small tubs of velvety smooth Chocolate Mousse S’mores strategically placed throughout. White Chocolate cactus shaped Suckers, Brownie Bites, Chocolate Dipped Oreo Cookies and Sheriff’s Star Sugar Cookies in western themed wicker trays/platters. Wow! We had a three-day wedding celebration. Sugar Sugar helped us get through it with style, flare and great Customer Service. Ted and his staff delivered everything and set up the entire display hours before our house party began! Thank you Ted! A full 5-star vote for delicious deserts, choc-full of style and creativity. A full 5 stars for fair pricing, planning, customer service and punctuality.

Moon Maiden?s Delights – Menu with Prices – 112 W Main St suite 12, Charlottesville

My husband and I needed a vegan wedding cake for our wedding in May 2019, and we approached Sidney, having had her yummy vegan treats both at the Charlottesville farmer’s market and at her bakery. (As of May 2019, she was also the only baker in the Charlottesville area who could do a vegan wedding cake, at least according to my research — go Sidney!) We had a three tier cake with lemon poppyseed cake and lemon icing for the outer two tiers and almond cake and maple pecan icing for the middle tier. Those flavor combinations might sound a little weird, but they were incredible! Apart from the flavors, I absolutely loved the fresh flowers from a local florist adorning the cake. But what I appreciated most about my wedding cake was that I could fully enjoy it without feeling heavy after eating it, because it was actually healthy! I am sensitive to sugar, and I can crash pretty quickly after bakery treats, especially ones with icing. I didn’t want that to happen at my wedding. I also didn’t want icing, in particular, made of vegan butter, which is just a bunch of oil and shortening. Sidney’s cake was delicious and indulgent and beautiful, but healthy and uplifting at the same time! I didn’t have to compromise.

Batter’s Up Custom Cake Artistry – Menu with Prices – 3433 Risner St, El Paso

Batter up Custom Cakes is absolutely amazing, not only do their cakes taste absolutely wonderful but she is extremely talented!! Everyone raved about our wedding cake (three-tiered wedding cake with sunflowers) groom’s cake ( tree trunk cake with aox) at our wedding they thought it was so beautiful and unique and they loved the flavors of our wedding cake we picked lemon, carrot cake with pecans and butter pecan!! It was absolutely perfect!! Amy went above and beyond to help us after our wedding got postponed due to Hurricane Harvey! she extremely hard to help us find a new date! Very thankful for everything she did it was an amazing experience working with her!!!

Cakin’ it Up Menu with Prices 452 Dix Creek One Rd, Leicester

Sabrina did an AMAZING job on my wedding cake this last weekend. I got a three tier cake with 2 dozen cupcakes. The cupcakes were almond flavored and the cake was split up into 3 different flavors: carrot on top; chocolate in middle; champagne on bottom; and all with a raspberry filling and swiss meringue buttercream for icing… IT WAS PHENOMENAL! Everyone loved the flavors. A favorite seemed to be the champagne (don’t know how to explain the flavor, you just gotta try it). I also had her do buttercream flowers that cascaded down the cake onto the cupcakes. It was soooo sooo beautiful. I couldn’t stop looking at it. She truly outdid herself and beyond exceeded my expectations. She was easy to communicate with, very dependable and I didn’t have to worry about a thing on my wedding day. I loved working with her and I honestly miss that cake! I will make sure to upload a picture when I get one. Thank you Sabrina for making my wedding day all the more magical.

Tocotoco Boba Tea – Menu with Prices – 3801 W President George Bush Hwy #116, Plano

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was fairly busy but not too crowded. It was cozy and cute inside but didn’t feel like all the decorations really went together but that’s ok. Before ordering, I perused the menu and yelp to see what would be a good choice. Luckily the menu has recommended options so I went ahead and got the mango green tea. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any lychee jelly so that was sad. My fiancé got the macchiato tiger sugar drink. The recommended/normal sugar level is 50% here. I’ve learned my lesson before and many times people recommend going with a lower sugar level, but I trusted my gut and went for 100% sweet ? I have a sweet tooth.. with that being said, it was not overly sweet at all. In fact, it definitely tasted a little less sweet than other mango green teas I’ve had before (specifically sweet hut) at normal sugar level. I didn’t like the mango bits in there. It wasn’t good mango. It was like the hard parts of a mango were cut up and put into the drink. I was trying my hardest to avoid the hard mangos. The macchiato tiger sugar drink was fairly sweet but tasted oh so delicious. It was like drinking pancakes and syrup. I know that sounds kind of gross and overly sweet but it was good if you’re into pancakes and syrup. I will definitely return in the future and will probably go for the macchiato tiger sugar drink! I would only get the mango green tea again if they took out the mango bits!

Babushka Bakery – Menu with Prices – 4724 W Armitage Ave, Chicago

I can’t tell you how easy working with Claudia at Babushka Bakery was for our July 2016 wedding. The wedding process is very time consuming between maintaining a job and attending all of the other wedding appointments that follow. Claudia understands and appreciates that time is precious during this time and does a lot of her communication back and forth through email. Her process is one that worked very well for my husband and I, as meeting in person was pretty difficult at times. Claudia was very responsive via email throughout our whole wedding process. We shared ideas of cakes we liked and went back and forth in formulating the design that met our expectations. Claudia was very helpful with recommendations and suggestions for flavors and style. If I haven’t sold you already, you will die when you do a tasting. Her work is outstanding and beyond beautiful. Most people think ehh its wedding cake no one really cares about it. NOT. SO. We had countless people comment on how delicious our red velvet wedding cake was. (Claudia also made a University of Michigan grooms cake which was a hit as well as recreated my parents wedding cake which was also very special and delicious. All received great reviews!) We saved the top tier of our cake to try on our one-year anniversary and I can tell you it’s been torture knowing it’s there and that I can’t eat it. I can remember countless occasions during the wedding process when I received an email from Claudia and it just felt like a breath of fresh air. She knows what she is doing. She is affordable. She is so so talented and very calming in nature. I would strongly encourage you contact her even if you are remotely interested. Trust me, she will alleviate a lot of wedding stress and her cakes are a guaranteed crowd pleaser. Check out her work on Facebook and Instagram as well, you’ll be glad you did! Now I am just waiting for my next opportunity to order a cake from her ?

Shamane’s Bake Shoppe – Menu with Prices – 2825 Wilderness Pl #800, Boulder

We hand-selected Shamane’s Bake Shoppe from an entire list of bakeries to create our dream wedding cake for our Winter Wonderland Wedding in January. We had previously tasted a wedding cake Shamane had made for my brother’s wedding several years prior, and we remembered how delicious it was. We had a wonderful cake-tasting meeting with Shamane at her bakery in Boulder, sampling six different flavors of cake (all were delicious, moist, rich, and very edible). We chose our top three flavors (Almond Raspberry, Gingerbread Caramel, Lemon Ricotta) and couldn’t have been happier with how grand the flavoring turned out to be. We told Shamane exactly what we wanted for the design of the cake – Three Tier, White Buttercream Icing and Fondant Icing with Draping. We also asked for Sugared “Frosted” Berries to accent. Shamane is truly a wonderful person. She is sweet, thoughtful, welcoming and an absolute pleasure to work with. She is also an extraordinary pastry chef. She was a great asset to our wedding team. Our wedding day took place during a beautiful January snow storm (perfect for our theme) and Shamane made quite the exciting, snowy drive from Boulder to Littleton to deliver our cake. She was perfectly timed, and the moment we saw the cake, we were blown away. It was more magnificent, elegant and beautiful than we were expecting, and we already knew it was going to be gorgeous ? We received so many compliments from our guests, saying it was the most beautiful wedding cake they have ever seen and how delicious it was. It definitely was the most beautiful, unique wedding cake we’ve ever seen, and it truly was our dream cake in reality. The design was definitely “us” and what exactly we wanted. The taste was impeccable and the best flavor/texture we’ve ever had. We are beyond pleased with Shamane and the beautiful Winter Wonderland Fairytale Wedding Cake she created for us. Shamane sent a very nice card after our wedding and is making us a fresh cake tier in our favorite flavor for our First Anniversary. She knows how to make her clients feel special. We highly recommend Shamane and Shamane’s Bake Shoppe for any wedding, birthday, or other celebration you are planning!

Most amazing and wonderful wedding cake, EVER!! Great communication, creative, punctual, and attentive. Amy transformed a vision I had into a reality, and not to mention, everyone who attended our reception said our wedding cake was “delicious”. If you want the best cake for your event, check out Specialty Cakes! They offer so much more than just cake but for our wedding we were looking specifically for cake. Cake tasting is probably the most exciting and anticipated event during the planning process! Specialty Cakes delivered with excellent flavor, presentation, easy process, and wonderful workers! Even though we all wanted to go taste more cake, we knew in the first few bites that we were sold. Who says a wedding cake has to be a boring white and chocolate cake? This place offers so many great options. My husband and I couldnâ??t make up our minds, so our wedding cake included 4 different flavors, White, Lemon, Strawberry, and Banana! They also made us an amazing Rumchata adult sheet cake and a Spice/Red Velvet sheet cake for all of us to enjoy! Our guests were incredibly happy with all of the options and raved about the flavor and design of our cake. We could not be happier with our decision on working with Specialty Cakes, they were tremendous with our whole wedding!

She made my wedding cake last year and it was amazing. We didn’t exactly know what we wated and she helped us design a beautiful cake. I loved it so much. It was so beautiful and tasted great. I would go back to her again for another big event. Her house was very beautiful and smelt amazing. All you could smell was the cakes and that defidently made me happy that we chose her to make the cake. She was very clean and very professional. Thank you so much for such a beautiful cake.
