Awesome donuts. Sounds like they had a bad employee based on some past reviews. We were treated good, staff was very patient and polite while we picked out our donuts. They have my favorite, blueberry!

S & S Donut & Bake Shop & Deli – Menu with Prices – 19425 Soledad Canyon Rd # A, Canyon Country

This place is my go to place whenever I am in the area! These donuts are delicious and I can’t stop stuffing my face with them. (So much better than Dunkin donuts and Krispy Kreme)The scones- OH THE SCONES! They are TO DIE FOR. They are just too delicious!! The blueberry is my absolute favorite flavor, and the cranberry and chocolate chip is great as well! The customer service- feels like I am just at home. The people here are sweet and patient. I feel great supporting a MA and PA shop. There is a huge selection of baked goodies and donuts I take forever to decide, so I have to thank them on their part for their patience!

New Star Donuts – Menu with Prices – 3110 W Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport

Today we had Donuts with Dad at SPLC and donuts were provided by the BEST DONUT SHOP IN SHREVEPORT on Bert Kouns Industrial loop (ALL STAR DONUTS). They were fresh and delicious. I ordered 32dz. Donut Holes and 32dz. Variety Donuts, I picked up my order at 7:30am that morning and my order was hot and ready for me when I got there. The staff is always nice and friendly. Just wanted to extent a big Thank You to All Star Donuts for making our Donuts with Dad a success. AWESOME BUSINESS!!!! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

Duck Donuts – Menu with Prices – 233 Laskin Rd, Virginia Beach

Duck donuts will continue to be a great place to go BUT tonight I was very disappointed in the slow service of one employee and the sanitary practices used by another employee. I will say the donuts were quite good as always. First of all one employee was making our donuts and took a very long time while stopping often to talk (with another employee) about how “sick” a Netflix series he is into. He could easily had cut the service time in half or more had he focused on his job. It literally took ten minutes for us to get our 1/2 dozen donuts. THERE WAS NO LINE AND NO ONE IN FRONT OF US. The other employee that was cleaning up took his rag and wiped down a trash can and the proceeded to wipe down the food area (where the donuts are dipped and drizzled) with the same rag. He made sure he wiped down everything really well with the already disgusting rag. ? The employees were very young and sadly they probably don’t realize how their conversation slowed things and how their cleaning practices are quite unsanitary.

Western Donuts – Menu with Prices – 3349 Western Center Blvd # 105, Fort Worth

The donuts are great here and service is too. They have a good selection from cake donuts to kolaches to muffins to danishes, all at a very good price too. Their blueberry donuts and apple fritters are my personal favorite. The lady at the front is one of the friendliest business owners I have ever met. Things like this are what keeps me coming back for more.

Donut Haven Menu with Prices 295 Rucker Rd #170, Alpharetta

Donut Haven has got it going onnn. They know donuts! We went on a Saturday morning and we knew it had to be good bc the line was all the way at the door! They have tons of different donuts to choose from and waiting in line built up so much anticipation. It was hard to choose which ones because they all looked so good! I locked in my choice after drooling all over the counter and chose the blueberry donut (blueberry is my all time fav anything so of course I’m a little biased) and I got some sausage rolls. The sausage rolls were awesome! The breading around them wasn’t overdone or too dense, just a nice fluffy bread padding around a delicious piece of sausage! Now the blueberry…. this blueberry was on FIRE. I almost turned around and ordered 3 more they were so good. The donut it self had an amazing texture, from the softness of it to the perfect moistness of the glaze on top. 10/10 recommend! Make sure you stop by this place on your way to work or pick up a dozen for the family! Whatever you’re doing you have to stop and check out this place!!

Ball Donuts Menu with Prices 2121 E Ball Rd, Anaheim

You know when you are hooked on these new creative donuts and you just happen to find a name you thought was one of those hip locations, but when you pay a visit, its NOT. Yup, they got me. With only 20 Reviews, my suspicions were correct. It was just a local donut shop that is on Ball Road. If you just want a good cheap donut, come by Ball Donuts in Anaheim. Honestly, I know I would be pushing it to go to a specialty donut place during my lunch break. So, I saw the name on Yelp and said, “Let’s Go!” Located on the north side of Ball Road behind the car wash in a small shopping strip, you will find, Ball Donuts. Parking is tight when you have so many cars parking in angles and delivery trucks blocking the path. Ball Donuts opens everyday at 4am. Whoa…I wonder who is awake at 4am. It would make sense at 5am, At 4 am, that where they serve their best and HOTTEST donuts. Unfortunately for me, I came in at noon and they didn’t have much of a selection left. And they close at 8pm? Not much left for choices by the end of the day. I was greeted by an elderly Asian lady. Apparently, other Yelpers have met her too. She was very warm in her welcome. She automatically wanted me to try the Blueberry Donut. Blueberry Donut?! I’ve never heard of that before. I saw it, but it was hard to tell it was a Blueberry Donut. So, I got a Blueberry, a glazed, and a lemon-filled sugar donut ($2.95). I don’t have a price on a dozen donuts, but she quoted me for three dozen donuts for $8.50. Not bad for those large workplaces who devour their donuts. When I brought to my donuts back, I had to dissect it. The first one on my list is the lemon-filled powdered donut. Before I even tried to open, it looks like Ball Donuts slices their donuts versus injecting the donuts. I wasn’t sure if its classified as a donut or a sandwich. Yeah, it may have been made out of cake batter, but it was cut like a sandwich… A lot of the filling was on one side of the donut. It wasn’t really spread out evenly. I didn’t feel heavy eating it and that was a DONUT! However, I did fall asleep for a bit. Must be the side effects of a delicious donut. The highlight of the visit wasn’t the lemon-filled powdered donut. It was the Blueberry Donut. OK, it wasn’t decorated any special, but it was made out of BLUEBERRY! You’ve tried a Red Velvet Donut! Then try a Blueberry Donut. Its fruity and with the light glaze, I still didn’t feel guilty for having it. Overall, Ball Donuts is a family shop. Its a small family donut shop. I love how I was greeted, love the price, and the donuts were just as good without the fancy donut names. I am all for small business and if you want to feed the morning crowd at work and donuts is the only thing you are after, come to Ball Donuts. They’ll be ready for you and your large orders. Still trying to not laugh when I hear the name, Ball Donuts. Yelp…My passion is not to write my reviews, but to share my experiences with you. Take that journey and share your story.

Augusta Street Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 52A Valley St, Providence

This review is based on my visit in February for the #BestDonutsRI competition.     This shop is a gluten free establishment. They specialize in using healthy ingredients and whole foods.   We arrived around 8:30am on a Saturday (they open at 8am). The shop is small with a counter for two people. The shop is meant for a buy and go service.  When we entered, we saw the owners and staff were quickly prepping. After they greeted us, the owner told us they were preparing for a Chocolate Festival in Fall River that day. They were still able to help and answer all questions we had.    They offer two cake donuts on the regular menu: the Organic Blueberry Cake Donut and Chocolate Birthday Cake donut. They have Banana Bread Donuts, but they are preorder only. We chose one of each of the regular donuts.   The Organic Blueberry was AMAZING! The donut was soft with the right amount of sweetness. Real blueberries are throughout the donut, the flavor is on point delicious! I didn’t try the Chocolate Birthday Donut, but the boyfriend said he enjoyed it!   I can’t wait to come back and try more!

Donut Delight – Menu with Prices – 225 E Amherst Dr, Tyler

I was craving some donuts here in Tyler, and this spot had the best reviews on yelp. My consensus? Friendly service, good variety of donuts, but on the sweeter/oily side on the donut spectrum. There’s a good amount of parking, especially when you go early in the day. They share parking in a plaza with a bunch of other shops/stores, so don’t worry about getting a spot here…even during peak times. Donut Delight is a tiny shop that seems to have a lot of local support. They sell donuts as well as breakfast tacos (which all have meat), kolaches and beverages. I enjoyed the donut holes, but they were on the soft side and left that oily aftertaste. I think I’ve been spoiled by Round Rock Donuts and my favorite donut shop in Austin. BUT their blueberry and old-fashioned donuts are pretty good. They bag all your donuts up for you, and service is with a sweet smile. Support your local businesses! It seems like Donut Palace is the chain to go to here in Tyler, but I’m all for supporting the stand-alones.

Martine’s Pastries – Menu with Prices – 400 E Third St, Lexington

So, I am writing this review as I am conflicted about an issue about their offerings at Martine’s. As people who notice my reviews, I only do donut based reviews on Yelp and I read that this place had donuts, so, of course, I checked it out and they did! Oddly enough, they didn’t have a label listing them as donuts, but they did for everything else. Naturally, I bought both a regular glazed and a chocolate glazed. One thing I noted when I looked at the regular glazed and took a bite of it, I thought, ‘Huh, this tastes like a discounted Spaldings Bakery donut.’ It had the unique hand rolled shape and it had the flavor. When I took a bite of the chocolate glazed, it confirmed suspicions that these were in fact Spaldings. The odd thing, is that I didn’t see anywhere in Martine’s where they listed this as a Spalding’s bakery donut. I know it sounds weird, but I don’t know why this is on their menu when I could have just as easily gone to Spaldings for their own donuts. I just know that having an item that isn’t representative of their stuff or a sign listing them as Spadlings just felt off to me, but I wanted to let people know about my experience.

Doughboys Donut – Menu with Prices – 3330 11th St, Rockford

I have known this way here for ages and finally one day decided to stop. I am so glad I did. The donuts are phenomenal. I love to try local donut places when I travel and have had many donuts both locally and world wide. I was always comparing them to my favorite bakery that closed down many years ago and was most often disappointed. This place has filled that void for me. Other than the donuts I ate at bread ahead in London, these are the best donuts I have had in a long time. I tried a few different types (glazed, blueberry, old fashioned cake with sprinkles, etc) and they were all very delicious and have great consistency. If you are looking for a great donut I can not recommend this place highly enough.

Hole In One Donuts – Menu with Prices – 2076 E Edgewood Dr, Lakeland

We got four donuts: 1. Blueberry filled — tasted like a blueberry pie 2. French crueler — amazing; fell apart in my hands 3. Apple fritter — also amazing; albeit a little hard 4. Eclair with crime — this was OK compared to the rest Quality was great but really just a glorified Dunkin. Nothing elaborate or special about this place and the staff was rude. The donuts were NOT labeled well or intuitively for a new customer and the team behind the counter were annoyed at our questions, making snide comments to one another and overall not friendly. Heard great things about this place but likely won’t be back — we’ll save our donut cravings for someplace else.

K & M Donuts – Menu with Prices – 5036 Edinger Ave #1436, Huntington Beach

I was in the area looking for a donut shop. Based on the reviews of K&M donuts, I decided to stop in and buy something. Unfortunately, my doughnut was not fresh at all. In fact it tasted like it had been sitting in that donut case for a couple days. I got a maple glazed buttermilk donut. I’ve been buying the same donut for many years. This is the single worst donut I have ever had. Now I could see if this donut had been sitting in the bag or in the box for 2 to 3 days I’d imagine this is how the donut tastes. But for a freshly bought donut just before 12 noon, something is definitely wrong here. I should’ve known when I saw the donut case was not very full and there wasn’t a lot of selection. I think the owner is selling his older donuts at full price and not telling the customers. In all fairness, the person who helped me behind the counter was very polite and friendly. So for that reason I’m giving this donut shop two stars instead of the one star. Honestly the donut it’s self should not even be sold. It was in edible I ended up throwing it away. Too bad I didn’t give it a try in the parking lot before I drove off otherwise I would’ve asked for my money back. The fact at this donut shop has such good reviews makes me wonder… Are all of these good reviews fake?
