Sheraton Augusta Hotel My stay was awful. Checked in om Friday night around 10pm so we unpacked and relaxed. Saturday I get up early, eat breakfast down stairs and then went shopping. My kids were sleep at the hotel (resting before competition day) and they get woke up by room service who delivered breakfast to the wrong room. They called me and I immediately called to see why breakfast was delivered to my room. I was first told someone ordered the breakfast from my room. After having to explain it wasn’t my room it was discovered it was their error. That charge was NOT taken off immediately I realized at check out on Sunday. When I got back to the hotel my room key didn’t work so I had to get it reactivated. Got to the room and my kids said housekeeping has knocked twice waking them up asking if we were staying an extra night (despite the do not disturb sign on door and the fact I booked 2 nights). When I returned another maid knocks so I call the front desk to see what the issue was. I was informed that they were not sure why housekeeping keeps knocking but they shouldn’t be and it will be addressed. I leave to take my youngest daughter to competition ( she had to be there early) returned and my key doesn’t work again and China is in the shower. Leave for competition get down stairs and forget my shoes and when my daughter tries to get in the room, guess what? KEY DOESN’T WORK! We return from competition later that evening and now I’m pissed because the key doesn’t work again. That night (Saturday) the air was acting up, it was either too hot or too cold. Sunday morning I was able to sleep in and noticed all the sunlight coming in. I tried to adjust the curtain but notice something was wrong. Pulled the curtains back and the window frame appears to have a lot if water damage and the curtain was arranged to hide this. At check I asked to speak with a manager and the food and beverage manager was sent to assist me. For my horrible stay I was offered 1,000 points towards a membership at the time I wasn’t a part of. Due to the hotel not correcting their error on room service I had to wait about 45 minutes at check out waiting for them to try to correct it. As of this morning I haven’t heard anything from the hotel!! I call customer service and made a complaint on Sunday as well. Call customer service back last night and a the rep was nasty and hung up. I called back and was escalated to a manager who didn’t say a lot of nice things about the Sheraton Brand, however, apparently there is a new Marriott brand she as excited about the 1,000 points the food and beverage supervisor promised at the hotel has not posted either, had the young lady check. DO NOT STAY AT THIS SHERATON, looks nice on the outside but if the water damage was in my room and caused that much damage, Im positive there are alot of rooms and areas in the hotel that are not in good condition but hidden. There could be mold and all kinds of things. BEWARE!

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Rochester – Menu with Prices – 1111 Jefferson Rd, Rochester

I rarely leave a review and this is my first negative review. When I travel I only stay at Hilton and Marriott brands because I think theyâ??re most reliably of high quality. For that reason, my stay at the DoubleTree in Henrietta was extremely disappointing. Taken in isolation, each of things is probably not terrible. But as the list grew I knew something wasnâ??t right at this hotel. I would not stay here again. 1. I called a few hours before check-in to get my two rooms next to each other. I was put on hold for 10 min before just hanging up and doing it myself on the app. 2. When we arrived the revolving doors were broken. I didnâ??t think anything of this but in hindsight I think it was a sign of issues at this property. 3. There was an extra long check-in at 9pm, long line, one worker, two others just standing around watching. Took at least 15 minutes to get checked in. 4. Room had a broken/missing thermostat on the wall. The wiring was there and exposed but the thermostat was not. 5. The room service breakfast menu that you hang on the door was already used (i.e. written in by prior guests and not replaced). 6. The room had one partial roll of toilet paper. It took two calls by me and one hour to get one sent up. Was told the hotel was busy (Iâ??d call it improperly staffed) and then when they delivered the roll they said the hotel was out of toilet paper. Is that even possible? This is not a 10 room mom and pop. 7. The white comforter on the bed was significantly dirty in several spots. This is easily seen by housekeeping so they clearly just decide not to replace it. 8. One of the lights in bathroom was out. 9. Door to the room would stick and wouldnâ??t close unless you pulled it/pushed it. This is a large hotel. It appears nice in the lobby. The fitness room was nice. But it seems to need improved management and better housekeeping and maintenance. As I said. I wouldnâ??t go back and I wouldnâ??t recommend this place to anyone else. There are plenty of other options.

Newport News Marriott at City Center – Menu with Prices – 740 Town Center Dr, Newport News

The hotel itself wasn’t bad. We had a group of 4 staying one night stay. When we got to the hotel we were early for check in but the lady called housekeeping and informed us it would only be about 10-15 minutes. We waited for over an hour before I went back up to the desk and asked another man if our room was ready. He told us there was still no room available and made no effort to check with housekeeping until I asked if he could. Of course there was a room ready by this time. While checking us in they told us the total which I informed them was not the amount we were told on the phone or in the email confirmation. They proceeded to tell me it was an incident fee. I DO understand these fees but I DO NOT understand why I wasn’t informed when I asked more than once what the total was and if that was EVERYTHING included. The only explanation they had was they didn’t have to give out that information or price unless you asked specifically, which I told them I did. I know that I called and got the rate first, I then called back to book the room and asked the total amount for the stay again and explained we were splitting the cost so we needed to make sure of the total, and I also checked and verified with the confirmation email. Some people may not worry about things like this but I feel that it should be addressed especially if guest has asked for the total amount and already explained their situation.

Hyatt Place Roanoke Airport/Valley View Mall – Menu with Prices – 5040 Valley View Blvd NW N, Roanoke

I do my best not to complain about much. Just go with the flow. Last night hit the limit for me. I got off work and went to the hotel. I was checked into room 409. As I was getting ready for bed I saw something on the bed I was thinking about getting into. I looked closely and it was a bed bug. I called the front desk to inform them I refused to stay in the hotel. Only because this isn’t the first time I had a problem there. The shower curtains has mold on them and the towels are dirty. Back to the matter at hand. I got downstairs to the desk. The woman name is Sharon, I believe. I showed her the video of the bug running across the bed. She says o I’m sorry I can put you in another room. I said thank you, I don’t feel comfortable staying here tonight. I asked if it was possible for me to be taken back to the train. She said she was unable to because her coworker wasn’t there. I asked about a cab and she said o yea there’s a cab. I never got the number to call. I sat in the corner and called my job, explained everything to them then called my manager. Their manager came and asked if I wanted to stay at a hotel across the way. I said no thank you. She offered a cab. I asked if there was a way someone from the hotel would be able to take me. She told me the other woman (Miki) had gone home. It wasn’t true she had just checked me in. Then she says o she’s still here she must be going home soon. I’ll have a cab called for you. I said thank you and left it alone. Half an hour went by and Miki was still there. I went to ask Sharon instead of me waiting until 12:45 am and my report time for work is at 4:45am can one of them please take me to the train. She says we don’t want to take you to the train that’s why we’re not taking you. That’s why you’re waiting for a cab. We don’t feel like taking you and we told the manager that. I said o…o really. I sat back down and waited. Next thing I know they’re mad because they think I call the job. Which I didn’t see a need to do. Sharon told Miki the cab was there and it was clear I was not wanted there at all. I let Sharon know I didn’t call anyone asking to call the hotel on my be half.

Sheraton Phoenix Airport Hotel Tempe – Menu with Prices – 1600 S 52nd St, Tempe

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days on business, and while the ladies at the front desk were very friendly, the front office manager Sergio was horrific. Waking up my last day I discovered a dead cockroach and dried, old food right up against the curtains. I was horrified and went to the front desk and spoke with Sergio the front office manager about my experience. I highlighted the fact housekeeping had “cleaned” my room no less than 3 times and still had missed a dead cockroach and old food, and requested a 10% discount for my stay due to the uncleanliness of my room. Not only did he NEVER apologized but instead told me “If I felt comfortable staying in a dirty room why was I complaining now” and implied that I had planted the cockroach in my own room. I was horrified by his unprofessionalism, sarcastic tone and downright rudeness, especially coming from a manager and in front of his staff. When I asked him if the correct course of action was to write reviews and post the pictures due to his lack of working with me, his response was “yeah you should do that.” It doesn’t cost anything to say “I’m sorry,” yet Sergio instead chose to be caustic, unprofessional and downright rude instead, and this coming from a MANAGER. If this is the type of manager that Sheraton/Marriott is promoting, I should rethink staying with them every again and encourage everyone as well. I will definitely be submitting a request to my company’s booking department to never stay at a Marriott again. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable, I’ll be reporting this hotel to the Phoenix health department as well. STAY FAR AWAY.

Hotel Preston – Menu with Prices – 733 Briley Pkwy, Nashville

This is a so-so hotel. The service was inconsistent – some of it good and some less so. The check-in was fast and friendly. When I arrived in my room, I discovered that the TV wasnâ??t working properly. I called the front desk and they sent someone with a few minutes. He was courteous and seemed genuinely interested in fixing the issue, which he did promptly. This was the best experience of my stay. . . The next morning, housekeeping knocked on my door at 8:00 to service my room. I wasnâ??t ready for the room to be serviced and asked her to come back. Some returned about 3:30 and cleaned the room. I had used the condiment packs from the coffee supplies and the housekeeper was about to leave the room without refilling them. I had to point that out to her. . . I attended a function at the hotel on Saturday night at which there was an open bar. The bar tender was lovely but clearly inexperienced. I asked for a margarita and she had to reference how to make it on her phone. (This is a simple statement of fact, and not a complaint. I appreciate that she looked it up.) . . This same person was in the function space earlier helping to set it up for the eveningâ??s festivities. The hotel was short-staffed with three events going on that night and they didnâ??t manage it well. That being said, the bartender worked hard and was extraordinarily pleasant and polite. She deserves a lot of credit for holding her own. . . On Sunday, I returned to the hotel after being out all morning. A housekeeper was mopping an elevator floor and even though she saw that I was waiting in the elevator, she didnâ??t stop mopping to allow me to board the elevator and go to my room. She didnâ??t acknowledge me at all. When she was finished, she allowed the doors to close and pressing the call button didnâ??t result in the doors opening back up immediately. . . There are two elevators, but because one elevator was already on the lobby level, I was unable to call the other. Another couple arrived a minute later and we eventually waited five minutes for an elevator to arrive. . . I was taking a shower on Sunday morning and at one point the water shut off. Not to a trickle, but all the way off. It stayed off for about 30 seconds and then slowly came back on. . . If youâ??re looking for a no-frills hotel close to the airport, the Hotel Preston is fine. You wonâ??t have great service but as long as youâ??re not expecting it, I suppose thatâ??s OK.

Margaritaville Resort Orlando – Menu with Prices – 8000 Fins Up Cir, Kissimmee

Updated review. This place is waaaaaay out of touch with what luxury service is. I gave them ample time to follow up and rectify the situation but it is abundantly clear that this hotel could give a rip about the people that stay there in less you were staying in very large groups were in the most expensive room in the hotel. Long story short they allowed me to book a room through Booking.com. But when I got there it was not available so when I got up to my room after I dragged everything up there I found out that they had booked me a room that was not what I had paid for. It took several tries to get them to give me a room, it was until I called Booking.com and they used their leverage to get me a small discount and allowed me to check out a day early. Heads up Customer Service called me the manager called me and everybody wanted to explain to me what a great deal it is to get $200 off total off of a $450 a night room that wasn’t what I paid for. More offensively the first offer was comedy club tickets, which they offer complementary. I would never stay here again because you never know if they’ve made the mistake of over booking the hotel and you won’t get a room or not get the room that you paid for or who knows what? In my last conversation with one of the management they bold face told me that they couldn’t guarantee that that would not happen again. So why would I ever stay there. If they are that disorganized to not know who is booked rooms. They shouldn’t be charging that type of price. Also just a heads up about this hotel if you are not staying in one of the most expensive rooms you are a football field away from the front desk and parking. When I was there there was only one bar open, no outdoor bars, it was very difficult to get a drink.

Renaissance Boca Raton Hotel Menu with Prices 2000 NW 19th St, Boca Raton

Stayed here recently while attending a wedding at The Addison. I called a week in advance and spoke with an attendant stressing that I needed an early check in. They were able to get me a room at 2 pm when their check in time is usually 4 pm which was great however the attendant told us only queens were available. When we got to the room assigned, the door was propped open and wasn’t ready from the last visit. We were then given a new room with a king that all of a sudden became available which ended up working out great for us. Day 2 after being gone all day, I came back to our room around 3:30pm which had not yet been made up by housekeeping. I quickly called down to the front desk and they sent up someone to address this. As a Marriott Rewards member I was shocked about both of these experiences, I’m assuming it was just a busy sold out weekend. The property is in a great location, close to shopping, a Starbucks in walking distance, and a short drive to Mizner Park area. The lobby offered complimentary coffee every morning and the lobby was nicely decorated. You can pre- order breakfast to be delivered to your room in the morning. My boyfriend and I do this at every hotel we stay at. At the Renaissance, our breakfast arrived right on time as we selected on our order card and came hot. Nothing beats breakfast in bed! Rooms were spacious and the pillows were super comfortable. Safe and refrigerator located in each room which was great. Overall a good night sleep, friendly staff and service as Marriott hotels consistently provide.

Holiday Inn Ontario Airport – Menu with Prices – 2155 E Convention Center Way, Ontario

I booked a room months in advance through the hotel and was told the total was about $600 WITHOUT the military discount however my card would be charged a less amount WITH the discount. Checking in for my reservation, I wanted to double check the amount I was charged for and sure enough I was told $600. I explained to Teddy (I think that’s his name? the Asian man with arm tattoos) the situation that I should be charged less with the discount and not the full $600. He mentioned something about booking the room package which included breakfast. I don’t know why he kept bringing breakfast up, which wasn’t the problem because that was exactly what I purchased. However, he wasn’t understanding the problem which was why I was being charged so much when the military discount was supposed to be applied. I ended up paying for the room knowing that all other hotels were fully booked due to the concert in town. Teddy did not make me feel welcomed to the hotel, did not remind me of the amenities offered, did not inform me of breakfast details. The next morning, I went down for breakfast and I saw people holding a ticket. Assuming I needed the ticket, I went to double check at the front desk and sure enough Teddy didn’t give these to me when checking in. After my stay, I contacted Holiday Inn’s customer support and explained the billing situation. They looked up the reservation details and said that a military rate was noted but never applied. Then I was told they would contact the hotel manager and I still have not gotten a call back. I would have given 2 starts because the encounter with Teddy was incredibly irritating and put me in a salty mood the rest of my stay. Other than this situation, I gave 3 stars because the room was as expected, housekeeping was friendly, and the two ladies (one wearing glasses with short, red, curly hair (I think) and the other with long black hair and braces) were sweet and helpful. Taking this as a lesson to confirm billing details and to avoid the same problem, I will no longer book my stays at this hotel.

Hilton Garden Inn Albany Airport Menu with Prices 800 Albany Shaker Rd, Albany

Lets start with our 2 phone calls to a very rude desk clerk named Teresa, we called once and told 20 min then called after 25 min and she told us he would be there, so I asked when and she stated “fine I will try and get hold of him” then she came back and said 5 min more. When we got to the hotel a 5 min drive we question her about it and she loudly stated that we are an on call service and don’t just service the airport. I said okay may I have the managers name, she then said ” it’s on the sign over there if you want it.” She was dismissive and rude. Then I get my key to room 410 and may I add that floor smelled so bad of pot it was unreal, but of course the key does not work. I return down stairs inform her the key does not work she takes my key never says a word to me after another 5 min hands me a key and says that is your room. No apology for the mix up nothing, then I get to my room 504 and the stink and stench is horrible. Thank god I have air freshener because I would not want to deal with that rude front desk person again. Oh and may I add the ice machine on the 5th floor does not work. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere but here! And of course this is all started at 1020 at night and did not get to a room I could get into 1110. Very poor!!!

Richmond Hotel and Tavern – Menu with Prices – 172 King St, London

I WARN YOU DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! At some point me and a friend needed a hotel to stay at so we decided to stay at the tavern. I wasnt sure who to talk to for a room so i asked the gentleman down stairs. He took our money for one weeks stay and gave each of us a room key. During the night i had to go to the washroom. It was small, dark a dismall, to my horror when looking into the waste basket nearest the toilet … USED SYRINGES IN PLAIN SIGHT! I ran from there to my room again… the nights sleep was ok aside from the music pounding my body… The next morning we woke up to some old man creep pounding at our door. Turns out this was the REAL hotel manager. He basically told us to get our shit and get out. We quickly gathered together our things but not before we went downstairs to confront the original man who turned out to be the bartender. He refused to give me back any of the money claiming that i was being stupid. We ran up to our now unlocked hotel room. My friend couldnt find her cell phone. I told her to look under the pillows and sure enough there it was. She knew she left it on the desk and i saw it there too. Once we retrieved the phone and hotel management caught eye of this he started getting more verbally violent. Shooing us out with swear words calling us name’s as we packed in a hurry When we finally escaped the establishment we ran and couldnt have run fast enough!!! I warn you! Dont drink here. Dont stay here and dont support this place The one night i tried was like a scene out of some horror movie!!keep safe!!!

Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country – Menu with Prices – 170 Railroad St, Santa Rosa

Most inconvenient hotel I have ever stayed at! Stayed here twice in one month and problems both times….never again. Here’s what we had to deal with: We knew that they were new to the “DayUse” only app program but we were so excited they had joined because we wanted to get away for the day, shop and eat in that area and then relax by the pool, etc. Easier said than done here. The first time we were only in our room for about 20 minutes when someone with a key kept trying to open our door. They gave our exact room to another guest right after they gave it to us. We chose the DayUse time option of 12:00pm-7:00pm and around 1:30 pm housekeeping then tried to get in with their key. Said we should be checked out by now .. uh, no, go check with the front desk, we have until 7 pm. On our second DayUse only stay, we arrived back to our room around 4 pm from the hotel pool only to find out our keys had already been de-activated. So a wet and cold trip to the front desk for a new key wasn’t appreciated. We then later discovered our credit card was charged for a room service “breakfast” of $65 …. a meal we DID NOT have… wasn’t even there for breakfast, left at 7 pm. I guess they charged us for the next guests in that rooms breakfast. The second star is only because the pool is nice and no one messed anything up there. It’s just too hard to relax and enjoy ourselves with all this nonsense being bestowed upon us. Talk about not feeling welcome. Bye bye!

Sheraton Ann Arbor Hotel Menu with Prices 3200 Boardwalk Dr, Ann Arbor

My first business trip to Ann Arbor. I chose the Sheraton as it is part of my company’s preferred hotel program and also because it is now part of the Marriott family. I had a wonderful 4 night stay here. The front desk team is super friendly and greeted me each day coming and going. My room was huge – king size bed, lots of room to walk around, good size bathroom, plus it had a refrigerator and microwave. When I checked in, the front desk noticed where my room was and with hesitation moved me to another room further from the elevator on the 4th floor. The club room for Marriott members is nice. I did eat breakfast there but just cold cereal and I had one evening meal, which was the vegetable lasagna. It was very good. They don’t have a bar in the club room, but the hostess was happy to go into the lounge and get my drink for me. Their lounger area is also very nice. The bartender was fun to talk to. I did order their French Onion Soup and it was delicious. The hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool, restaurant, gym, and lots of meeting space. While I was there, it was packed with athletic teams in town. But I never heard a peep at night so either the rooms are really soundproof or the kids went to bed very early. The parking lot is huge. I was lucky enough to snag a good parking spot each evening near the front entrance. I also noticed a Hertz Rental Car desk at the hotel. I will definitely stay here again the next time I come to Ann Arbor. It’s conveniently located, on-site restaurant (nice for us that work late), and super friendly staff are what’s important to me.
