Hoping to improve my recommendation soon! I’ve been a big fan of salad creations, but my last three experiences have been frustrating. First, my “spicy veggie” was so overloaded with “spice” that today I actually could not eat it. Second, my salad sat, waiting to be “chopped,” while the person took another person’s order and made their entire salad. She then returned to my salad, chopped it. Then chopped the next person’s salad. then covered my salad. Then covered the next person’s salad. I don’t see why there was ANY benefit to making me wait in order to alternate working on someone else’s salad. Third, it wasn’t really chopped – just kind of lightly mixed. Fourth, two people were working on other things, leaving just the one person to actually make a salad, while, 12 people gathered and stood in line and waited! Every now and then, things go awry, and I understand that. But the reason I’m posting is that this is the third time that I’ve had a frustrating experience here……I hope someone gets the message !

Loyal Q and Brew Menu with Prices 3655 Old Milton Pkwy, Alpharetta

I am posting this review in regards to what I received when I ordered from GrubHub today. Now I have eaten at LoyalQ AND I had just eaten lunch there less than a week before placing my GrubHub order – so I know what I SHOULD have received instead of what I actually DID receive. #1. It was clearly stated that I ordered the SuperFoods Bowl: SUPERFOODS BOWL ALL THE GOOD STUFF IN ONE BOWL! KALE AND SPINACH ARE MIXED WITH QUINOA, CHERRY TOMATOES, CHOPPED WALNUTS, FRESH BLUEBERRIES, DRIED CRANBERRIES, GARBANZO BEANS, SHREDDED CARROTS AND SLICED AVOCADOS. ALL TOSSED IN A MAPLE VINAIGRETTE. $12.95 #2. I did NOT receive the Superfoods Bowl. What I Actuall received was a poor rendition of the Q chopped salad that someone threw a few sprinkles of quinoa in: THE Q CHOPPED SALAD CHOPPED ROMAINE TOSSED WITH GRILLED CORN, GREEN ONION, BLACK BEANS, CHOPPED EGG, CHERRY TOMATOES & TOSSED IN CILANTRO-LIME DRESSING $9.95 Except I didn’t EVEN receive the chopped salad. It had no egg and no dressing. It wasn’t even a $9.95 salad. I paid $10 for a bowl of romaine with a few things thrown in. So basically I feel I was ripped off because there would be no accountability since it was a GrubHub order, so let’s see how much we can cheese out and hope the unsuspecting fool that placed the order doesn’t notice. Very disappointed and not sure I will patronize either LoyalQ or GrubHub again in light of the scam that seems to have happened here.

Reese’s Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 4519 Woodruff Rd #20, Columbus

The food at this “meat and three” is absolutely delicious. However, they have very few tables so people are left standing , holding their trays of food with no place to sit down. This was very frustrating. Some people come in and rush to an open table, leaving their phones, sweaters, keys etc to reserve their table. They then get in the line to place their order. People in the front of the line must stand and wait for an open table while those in back of line have “reserved” their table . Frustrating!!! I saw people come in, look around to see every table taken so they turned around and left. They probably will never return. The space Reese’s has rented is not big enough to comfortably accommodate their customers nor is it large enough to receive a good return on their investment. All of this is going to cause them to lose business. Just a very bad business decision to rent such a small space.

Firenze: Italian Street Food – Menu with Prices – 131 N Clinton St, Chicago

Firenze you have my heart!! One of our kind new vendors catered a variety of sandwiches along with an awesome salad for the office today. “THIS IS SOOO AMAZING” is what I kept thinking as I was eating my caprese sandwich. This is hands down better than any sandwich I have ever had!! SO fresh! The bread is super unique, crispy but still a soft bite – it won’t tear your mouth up like you might think when you look at it. I’m not a big sandwich person, but oh my goodness I am now!! This was an unforgettable meal which consisted of: their homemade bread, pesto, roasted eggplant (so good), mozzarella and tomato. The salad was great too: chopped up romaine with roasted veggies mixed in. There was a bowl of diced chicken that came with, along with fresh shaved parmesan and balsamic – they thought of everything. I don’t eat meat so I loved that the chicken was on the side. Dear Firenze – You’re really super special, I wish you much success and I’m so glad you exist!! Go get a sandwich y’all!!!!

Gardner Pie Co Menu with Prices 191 Logan Pkwy, Akron

What are Americans’ favorite pies? Apple takes, ah, the cake I believe, beyond that all pies are created equal unless it’s a chocolate pie because that’s my favorite late night pie hmmm that’s unless it’s a holiday then it could be pumpkin in the No. 2 spot, while cherry places third, unless my mom brought over a pecan pie of course. One of the most common questions asked after opening the refrigerator is “What kind of person eats the last piece of pie” – well I have to admit I am that kind of person and I’ve never had any regret or remorse, but I do counter that with what kind of person would leave the last piece of pie – in my opinion a single slice of pie should never be saved for later. Well if you live anywhere in the vicinity of a “pie factory” those are issues that you should never have to deal with. Ok first of all I don’t know anyone who has ever told me “I grew up next door to a pie factory” that would just seem too unbelievable, after coming here now I know for a fact there are people who live next door to a pie factory and who are within walking distance to fresh pies 24/7, now wait a minute I understand the public can’t access pies here around the clock but certainly if I lived next door I would know someone who works here and hopefully they could hook me up after hours if I had a pie emergency. Any description one conjures up here doesn’t do this place justice, when I walked in the door I saw fresh baked pies everywhere and if it wasn’t a pie it was something that has something to do with pies. The two young ladies working the retail store in front of this production facility must have been hand picked out of scores of applications because the customer service here is amazing, although I’d rather be shoveling pies in the back than dealing with the lines of people upfront especially when the last of their favorite pie is sold out just before they make it to the counter to place their order. I am sure it’s possible for this place to run out of some types of pies but it’s highly unlikely with that being said that the person would walk out without a different kind because everyone has a second favorite pie and probably a third and fourth favorite as well. I will tell you there is a lot of pressure to make a decision when it’s your turn, so read the menu board ahead of time and be prepared. I started with an apple then added two strawberry / rhubarb and decided to get a cherry and since it is only a few miles from the office I figured I could come back if necessary. They also have creme pies, frozen pies, and even savory pies I’m sure they have something you will like as well, they may even have Boston Creme Pie although that’s really cake isn’t it….

ACE ATLANTA Menu with Prices 4300 Buford Hwy NE Suite 218, Atlanta

I purchased a section and prior to the club becoming over 50% full everything was fine. I was told twice that I would have to share my section. The first guys that they were trying to put in my section didn’t have the money to pay for their bottles. Shortly after I was Told I would Either have to leave my section and go to a high top table or share my section with a party of 7. I had No choice but to share my section. To my surprise it ended up being a party of 17 trying to fit in my section. I went To the bathroom and when I got Back they drank my bottle. They never purchased any bottles either. I complained and complained and nobody did anything. Once the club was over I wasnt Leaving until someone gave me an explanation. Come to find out I wasnt The only person that had this issue. The security became very rude and started pushing us out the door. An altercation ended up happening when they put a woman in a choke hold to carry her out. That’s absolutely unacceptable. Once outside the So called owner began speaking with me but my friend came up to me with someone else that claimed to be the owner on the phone. I will NEVER support this place again and I defintely Don’t recommend anyone else going there.

Hank’s Smoked Briskets – Menu with Prices – 3736 N Doctor M.L.K. Jr St, Indianapolis

Not worth the wait! Arrived at 4:20pm in a Friday and didn’t get our food to take home until around 5:30pm. There were 3 orders in front of us and a steady flow after us. Two people working, Hank and a lady. After they gave the customers waiting their orders they then took ours and the couple behind us. While waiting and watching it seems they take 2-3 orders at a time and after filling those they take more orders. However, they don’t explain this or greet those waiting to place an order. After picking up your order you pay. Definitely not the friendliest either. They expect you to know your order when at the window. I was surprised that they actually seemed perturbed with our larger order. You would think a large order with sides, desserts and several pounds of meat would be appreciated. Interior is small waiting area with about 5-6 chairs to sit while waiting on your order. There’s a TV with the menu scrolling and that’s about it. Do have to say the aroma of the BBQ was wonderful while waiting! Brisket & ribs, cole slaw and baked beans were alright. We like our ribs to fall off the bone and these weren’t as tender as we usually like. Brisket was very fatty and needed a little more seasoning. Side of potato salad was probably the worst we’ve had in a long time. Potato salad was almost a greenish yellow color and had a curry or funny spice taste to it. People only tried a bite and tossed the rest. Baked beans were tasty especially if put some chopped brisket mixed in them. Caramel apple and peach cobblers were okay. Being raised in Texas and growing up with BBQ, our group was disappointed especially after such a long wait! Looks like we will be looking for another BBQ joint here in Indy.

Hazel Dell Skippers – Menu with Prices – 8715, 6304 NE Hwy 99, Vancouver

***** Service, freakin’ awesome, five stars. What a hard working team! And on a hot day in a hot kitchen! And they communicated so well with each other, like a well run line. Someone shouted out kind of frantic sounding “We need more *something*, asap” and another staff replies back with “It’s already started, don’t worry I got you” And first guy sounds relieved and says “oh man, thank you”. The manager(?) was checking on each staff team: “you okay? Need anything?” And with customers. The line of customers never stopped, and this crew was out checking on them at tables and during ordering, asking: do you need anything? There was a large demographic of older people, and persons on the crew would call out as they were leaving “Have a good evening ladies and sir, thanks for coming in!” *** Food. Three stars, which is fine, three stars just means average. I bought a Groupon, & didn’t realize til I got there: this is the fast food all-fried Skipper’s of my youth in California. All the Skipper’s in my city closed down around 1999. So as I ate, I was remembering & the food was the same: great coleslaw, tasty hush puppies, the chicken was good, large portions. Fried everything, but good enough, I’d eat there again if I was in the mood for it. Perfect iced tea.

Costa Hollywood Beach Resort – Menu with Prices – 777 N Ocean Dr, Hollywood

We booked the room for three persons with A VIEW. When we are checking in we are told it’s a partial view. Bad way to start off the visit. When you advertise view, people expect a view – instead we got a view of a apartment building and had to step out on the VERY DIRTY patio to see the water. At 10 pm when we went to use the sofa bed, it was not made, there was plastic on the mattress and nothing to make the bed. No towels either. When we called down to get them sent up, the gentleman brought the pillow holding onto it in his mouth. Also, no one offered to make the bed for us either. $460 and I made my own bed. The ac vent in the room was not working at all, so we had to leave the door open to the rest of the suite and turn the ac down cold to cool the room. Then when it got cold and we turned it off the heater kicked in. We were there for one night so had no interest in calling to move rooms at 3am, which would have been an hours process…but when I complained to the gentleman at the front desk his general attitude was one of “oh well – should have called”. Very dismissive and very rude. So no preparation for the third person who paid for the room and no appology when we complained. Also, you have plates, cups and cutlery, but no soap to wash them with? What’s the point? In regards to the bar and breakfast – our dinner was wrong and the waiter said and I quote “I don’t get paid enough to remember stuff like chicken vs salmon” – granted he was laughing but at 9pm, having told us we have 5mins to put in our order that was extreamly frustrating to get the wrong food 30 minutes later. In the breakfast line, a young lady came to take our tickets and I asked her what their sign “eggs and cheese” was and her response was even better “I only collect tickets, if you want to know something ask her (pointed to the girl at the register) as she seems to think she is in charge.” Shocking. Having paid $460 including tax for one night I really expected a lot more.

Hot Box Cookies – Menu with Prices – 1013 E Broadway, Columbia

The cookies are pretty good. The service is very slow as there is always ONE person trying to do three jobs. The poor young lady working every time I go into the store is taking orders from a line of customers, then has to pack the order, answer the phone and tell the person on the phone that the manager is not available and that she canâ??t answer that question. We waited for ten minutes to have our order taken and another ten minutes just to get our cookies. What? The cookies are ready in the oven! Oh, not only do we wait for 20 minutes, we are notified that the cookies we want are sold out and we have to make another choice as the young lady canâ??t bake the cookies because she has to take orders, pack and answer the phone! This is seriously bad service and working a staff member in an unsafe environment. Leaving a teen alone in a store is very unsafe. Where is the manager? Is there a manager? No delivery drivers on site? The establishment was dirty as well, front and back because why…. there is only ONE person working!!

The Oaks Kitchen and Bar – Menu with Prices – 2100 Cane Island Pkwy Suite B, Katy

We finally made it over to the Elks today for their brunch. Very very disappointing. Out of five orders only one was correct and it came out 15 minutes before the others. Then two more orders came, waited five minutes the fourth order came in finally a couple more minutes later the fifth order came. They made three corrections on the meals and the fourth person just shrugged her shoulders and just said sheâ??d eat it even though it wasnâ??t totally what she ordered. Had to request several times for refills on coffee. They did not serve hot tea on the brunch menu. The waiter although nice seemed very confused and inexperienced when we had so many issues with our meal. We asked for the manager twice and except for adjusting and re-ordering the incorrect orders he just walked off after that. Hope they get their act together as itâ??s close to home and we would like to try it again. The reviews for lunch and dinner seems to be more favorable so maybe brunch is just not their thing.

La ESQUINA DEL TACO – Menu with Prices – 2214 Austin Ave, McAllen

I’m giving it a one-star because the service that we got from the person who took our order and the person who gave us our order were the worst people ever! The food is great, tacos are good but let me tell you. The person that took our order was in a rush as we had several orders and every time we would finish with one he would kind of walk away and we’re like hold on we’re not done so when we kept on going for the next order he would leave again and we had to tell him to

Maria’s Sweet Deli – Menu with Prices – 149 South St A, Newark

Horrible experience!! I called to make a couple of orders for my coworkers to be delivered and the person taking the orders didnt understand the order. The 1st order was an omelet with onions, peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and cheese. The second order was grits with cheese and 3rd order of cheese grits with scramble egg and cheese and turkey bacon as a platter. I asked for prices and they were charging me 6.00 for a veggie omelet by its self (which i didnt order) and the omelet with the ingredients that I mentioned before. I started to explain to the person on the other and of the phone that it wasnt correct and it seemed they slammed the phone on their counter and was yelling at a different person and told them to get on the phone to take the order right so im getting upset because this is happening and 30 minutes already passed and they had to take my order again but the coworkers were upset that these people were being unprofessional and started to cancel their orders. They need better
