We have used Catering from the Heart on 2 separate events with real success at both events and now are regular customers. We operate a Home Care Agency and an Adult Daycare Center. The first time we used Ruby Lee’s was for our Home Care Agency. I was trying desperately to impress my referral sources as well as potential clients that could use my services. I wanted to provide dinner complete with salad, lasagna, garlic bread, dessert and drinks. It could not have been more perfect and reasonably priced! When we exited our program regarding speech therapy, there it was. A beautiful spread that was not only presented elegantly but that was truly delicious! Try her lasagna… it is to die for, layered with copious amounts of meat, spinach and cheese. Everyone asked for the caterer’s name and the evening was a real success! Next we had our Ruby Lee’s cater our Thanksgiving dinner at our Adult Daycare Center. This is an informal event with a lot of pot luck dishes and wonderful deserts. However, the real star was the turkey prepared by Catering From the Heart! Juicy, not too salty and soooo tender. And the best part is we did not have to spend hours in the kitchen getting it ready. Now we use Ruby Lee’s to cater our lunches at the Center. She is always fair and makes sure all of are veterans and other members are always satisfied and happy. I trust them so much that I autopay for her services monthly. So, whether you have an informal event or a formal event, Catering From the Heart can make it a real success! Hmm, I heard she also caters non events, when you’re just to tired to cook. I need to try that at home!

Country Catering & Special – Menu with Prices – 2361 Waterloo Rd, Stockton

With such great reviews and reasonable pricing on their food and services I was referred to country catering to cater my wedding. Due to my wedding being so far away we couldn’t use them! I must say even though country catering isn’t catering my wedding, Elizabeth has been so sweet and went above and beyond to help refer me to other caterers closer to my venue. I mean who does that!!??!! If I ever have an event closer to town I am using country catering. I highly recommend!!

Salt of the Earth Catering has done many events for me, most recently a graduation party for 75 guests. After the initial planning, I did not have to worry about the execution of the event for one moment, which is consistently been my experience when dealing with Danielle and Tomas. Everything from the set-up to clean-up was thoroughly taken care of. The event was held at a private home and of course, they used the kitchen to heat and finish the food, and left it just as they had found it, if not cleaner. The homeowner could not have been happier! The food was excellent, as it always is, and the service both friendly and thoughtful. The presentation of the food was creative and appetizing, perfect for an early summer dinner. Danielle guided us with our menu choices, which were perfect for the eclectic mix of guests-young, old, omnivores and vegans, AND kids! Everyone was happy and had a chance to taste all levels of cuisine. Many guests raved about the food and are planning on using Salt for their own future events. No one will work harder to make you happy-their combined experience dwarfs most other catering companies. There is nothing you can throw at them that they cannot handle-parties of 75, large organized events, intimate dinners, corporate events-they do it all with polish and professionalism. Fantastic Event Space, perfect for Charity/Fundraising Events. As professional Benefit Auctioneer I’ve been in many event venue spaces and the Jackson Center is first class. Ample Parking, Good layout, bathrooms, staging, everything. (The only suggestion I would have for future events is to make certain you have an AV tech on hand) Can’t wait to be part of more events at the Jackson Center

Rocky Mountain BBQ Catering Ltd. – Menu with Prices – 5303 68 Ave SE #321, Calgary

I recently hired Rocky Mountain BBQ for an outdoor catering event and I can’t say enough great things. Braden was professional and courteous making the best possible suggestions for my needs. The staff at the event were fantastic, personable and efficient. Above all the baked beans were INSANE and could be considered a food group on their own! THANK YOU Rocky Mountain catering for being affordable, accommodating and providing an amazing meal. I would absolutely work with this group for future events and would recommend them for any event as they provide a fusion of upscale dining mixed with backyard home cookn’. Absolutely perfect!

Frank Jr’s Barbeque – Menu with Prices – 3012 Covert Ave F, Evansville

Frank Jrâ??s BBQ and Catering Service is top-notch. He recently catered one of my events and it was very evident as to why his BBQ is in high demand! The food was great but working with Frank was even better. He met our needs in a timely manner and my event was able to run smoothly. Heâ??s the type of business leader that many establishments should model themselves after. I would recommend visiting Frank Jrâ??s BBQ if you havenâ??t. If you canâ??t visit, I would definitely recommend utilizing his catering for your next event!

Berg Catering – Menu with Prices – 855 Elm Ave, Long Beach

Berg Catering is excellent at what they do and how they do it. Their results speak to that excellence. The selection of foods, floral arrangements, table set-ups, dinnerware and contributions to the ambience of the event are what place them head-and-shoulders above the rest. Their prices are reasonable and actually quite good considering the top-notch quality of the food and of their service. I had a day-long open house and party for about 45 family members. Casual but elegant, serving both brunch and then later, dinner. Appetizers and drinks all day, cocktails starting in the afternoon. Incredible. Everything handled well. Their experience was evident. The open house and two meal service was well-staffed at all times. Big things, little touches were well done. My guests requests and needs were taken care of and even at times, anticipated and fulfilled before the guest even had a chance to ask. Two hours of prep time before the start of the open house at noon and an hour of clean up after the end of the party at 10:00 that evening. A long day by anyone’s standard and they were easily up to the task, unfaltering in their dedication and service as well as kind and gracious from beginning to end. . Phone and in-person meetings with April in preparation for the event were simple and straight-forward. When I knew what I wanted, she gladly and without hesitation accommodated my requests and when I was uncertain about a choice, she gently guided and made suggestions outlining various outcomes should I decide one way or another. I couldn’t have asked for more. I’ve hosted more than my share of catered events for family and friends through the years. We’ve lived in a variety of places and so have had a chance to experience an equally large variety of caterers. I would place Berg as our top choice. I’d also note that when we have our next event at our desert home, I’ll try my best to coerce April and her crew to travel the 200 mile round trip from Long Beach to Rancho Mirage to cater that future event – even with the additional expense of travel and lodging. Yes, they’re worth it. And yes, they are that good. Thank you again, April and staff. Your hard work, diligence, ease, experience and pleasantness of you and your staff was so very much appreciated. Their service and food is always spot on! We had an event this evening and once again, they really did an excellent job! We REALLY appreciate the crew and management! ð?? ð??

Tableside Gourmet – Menu with Prices – 1634, 7725 E Sheridan St, Scottsdale

We hired Kevin to cater a company dinner at my boss’ home, where we had some out of town associates and executives attending. As you can imagine, that presented some challenges but Kevin was responsive and flexible with our many changes, even up to 2 days before our event! His menu was so difficult to choose from because of all the amazing dishes. The night of the event, Kevin arrived on time with an assistant, which we were not expecting, but who was absolutely wonderful! Kevin and Amanda helped serve drinks all night; from Amanda behind the bar pouring wine to helping fill water and tea glasses during dinner (which was outside on the patio) and even serving coffee afterward to those sitting outside around the fire. The food was outstanding, as Kevin will tell you himself! ? And they made my job easier when I found Amanda washing all the dishes and cleaning the kitchen. I will love her for life! Bottom line, the food was phenomenal, the (unexpected) service Amanda provided was exceptional, both Kevin and Amanda were so personable and easy-going….and we could not have been more pleased with the evening. I hired a different personal chef for the following evening for another dinner party at this same home, but with a different group of associates, so I have something to compare Tableside Gourmet to and I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt, we will always choose Kevin for future events!

Connie 1 Reviews Even though Goegleins did a great job in catering my grand daughters wedding reception, they ‘cancelled’ that all out by sending me a substantial bill after I had paid for the catering services in full several weeks before the wedding reception. The accomplishment of having the whole wedding paid for was quite rewarding until I received another bill a week after the wedding reception. When I contacted Goegleins Catering about the situation, Greg Goeglein stated that they ‘forgot’ to add a charge and that it was ‘human error’. He was very rude, arrorgant and very condenscending with his ‘so called’ apology. Of course I paid the bill which by the way was MORE than a couple hundred dollars. Julia-n-LeChef Catering and Event Services – Menu with Prices – 426 1st Ave NW, Cedar Rapids

We just had our Valentine’s Gala at the National Czech & Slovak Museum a week ago, and hired Julia-n-LeChef for the first time to cater for us. I was very impressed with the way how the owner handled all my questions and help me with the menu. The food were delicious and everyone that attended our event were very happy with the food. Brandy was very professional and very easy to work with. The Price is very good for the food they serve. I am recommending this company to hire them for any events. Thank you again so much for your help! Will hire them again in my future events.

Lancaster Pie King LLC – Menu with Prices – 347 N Plum St, Lancaster

After considering several options, we selected Scarlet Runner to cater my daughter’s wedding reception (150 guests). Two major factors were the quality of the short rib dish, and Hilary. We definitely made the right choice! I’m sure it takes tremendous skill to serve a delicious dinner to 150 people, and the Scarlet Runner staff performed superbly. My dinner of sweet potato soup and short ribs was at a level I would expect of a top-ranked restaurant, and this was at a catered event. Very impressive. In the days following the wedding we’ve had numerous guests offer unsolicited praise for their dinner, questions about who did the catering, etc. I’m just delighted with the performance and results of the the SR staff, they really delivered.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Ontario Airport – Menu with Prices – 222 N Vineyard Ave, Ontario

As part of our high school reunion committee, we had booked the Doubletree Hotel/Conference center for our event six months in advance. With that reservation came a block of 10 rooms for guests and for the 4 committee members. We request to have the committee members’ rooms on one floor, next to each other. All committee members booked their rooms in advance. The day of the event, we checked in at the registration desk at 1pm (our official check in time was 2:30pm). At that time we were told that the rooms weren’t ready yet and that we needed to come back, but we again stressed that we get rooms together and that they were in the same building as the venue room. We had lunch in the bar and came back at 2:30pm. At this time, we were told by the manager at the registration as well as another employee that the rooms would cost another $25 to be in the building with the venue. We were never told this. They also upgraded our committee lead without her knowledge so her room had been upgraded for free. We said we would pay the additional $25 to be put in rooms beside her and then they told us that all of those rooms had been taken by those who registered early. We tried to get ahold of the event manager (who wasn’t even there to oversee the event that day – she took the day off!) and asked the manager to call her and he said he couldn’t reach her. We were put in the back building, on the 3rd floor which was about 6-7 minutes from the event room. As part of the committee, we did the set up and now we would have to travel to the back building for all of the decorations, etc. After we checked in, I had asked for a bell cart so that we could have our luggage taken to the room. The staff person went and got one, rolled it over and then left. I had to push it with all of our luggage to the back building, to the 3rd floor and to our room was, which was the 2nd to the last room at the end of the long hallway to the back of the building. As far as the event room, it was supposed to be ready to set up at 4pm for our event at 6:30pm. At 4pm, they didn’t have the dance floor put down, they hadn’t vacuumed, the tables were dusty, and we were missing two additional tables. We argued with the event manager who kept saying that they were all set up and would take care of those things, then showed me the contract and said, “your event is at 6:30, we will have it set up way before then”. This hotel has no organization and certainly does not have a good event staff or front desk registration staff. They don’t care, they don’t go out of the way for a customer,even those who bring a lot of money to their establishment through over 40 room bookings, catering and event booking. Absolutely unacceptable! The only reason I am giving 1 star is because of the food, catering and housecleaning staff. The food was perfect, hot and delicious. The servers were attentive, the bartender was great. My final note to anyone is, if you are looking for respectful, thoughtful accommodations for events and/or room reservations, pass this place up! and by the way, anyone can park in the lot without anyone checking if they are even hotel guests, leaving the parking extremely difficult for those staying at the hotel or attending a venue there.
