The Last Honest Pizza is here in Texas! We moved here from California about 5 years ago, and shortly after moving here, I sadly realized there was no Round Table. I’d visit Northern California a couple times a year and always stopped in, but I’ve been wishing one would open close by. It finally has. We visited, and the staff was amazing, so friendly. One of the co-owners came out to speak with us when hearing we were from California. The Pizza, wings, bread sticks are just as I remember. The toppings on my King Arthur were fresh, generous, and cooked to perfection. We ordered a Pepperoni, and a Hawaiian Pizza as well, all perfectly delicious. It’s so good to see RT here to know we can now have a great pizza whenever we want one! And by the way, for those who were wondering.. The Last Honest Pizza is called this because it’s made fresh. No frozen dough, or cheese. Everything is made fresh daily. Texas wouldn’t know this unless you grew up listening to their ads. So it will take a little longer to make than other pizzas around here. Every Pizza is made to order, FRESH! And it’s delicious! Try it out, and enjoy! I will back over and over again! Now, when will have coupons! I used to look for my coupon every month back home! Love it!

San Marino Pizza – Menu with Prices – 1465 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island

This is a new Pizza Spot that I spotted on Hylan Blvd. I stopped in to grab a menu and I was promptly greeted with a quick hello and a smile. Upon my ordering delivery, the following week, was delivered fresh, hot & quickly with a smile. Arriving before the 45 minutes I was quoted. We had the Puglia Pie which is a large pie with pepperoni, sausage and meatball. The large pie was extra large and cooked to perfection. The dough was not to thin and not to thick, just right. The sauce was smooth and silky, sweet and tangy. The pie was tasty and yummy. See pic of the pie. The toppings were generous and spread out evenly, topped to perfection. The rolls we ordered, Spinach & Philly cheese steak, were stuffed and rolled in a crispy medium thin tasty and toasty dough. Fresh spinach, and fresh cheese steak. Just delicious both of em. See pic. We tried the Grilled Chicken Ceasar wrap. Again generous portions and came with French Fries. The Chicken wrap was fresh and the chicken must be fire grilled with the grill taste you’d expect. Very tasty. Great new spot for your pizza nights. Give them a try your taste buds will thank you.

Velasko Pizzeria & Deli – Menu with Prices – 4800 McDonald Rd, Syracuse

You know that saying, you never get a second chance to make a first impression, well that is true of this pizza shop. We had 2 pizzas delivered and were very happy with the delivery guy. Unfortunately we can not say the same about the pizza. We had 2 different pizzas with different toppings and neither had any flavor. For a house full of people who like to eat and love their pizza, we struggled to get through the first piece. The sauce was bland as was the dough. I don’t know if the dough was old or cheap premade frozen dough but dough can make or break a pizza. With this pizza shop, it was a complete break. I didn’t bother trying the wings. The 1 piece of pizza I did manage to finish did not sit well in my stomach, leaving me with bad gas. We won’t be ordering from them again.

HAKUNA MATATA PIZZA CUBANA – Menu with Prices – 395 E 10th St, Hialeah

Let’s start by saying that this is Not a restaurant, but rather, a take out pizza place. If you wish to sit and eat there you better pray there is no one else there as the only sitting possibility is limited to 4, maybe 5. We ordered 3 personal pizzas of which they messed up on one of them and had to redo, which I don’t understand since we were the only customers there at the time. The pizzas barely, barely had any sauce, to the point that I can dare say it didn’t have any. Pizza 1~ cheese: well cooked. but this pizza was bread and cheese only, no sauce. My wife lifted the majority of the cheese looking for the sauce, the dough was dry light pink, but no sauce was present. Pizza 2~ ham & bacon: the dough was cooked, but the ham and bacon were halfway cooked. It was edible, but it definitely needed more oven time. Sauce was present, but very little in the center only. Pizza 3~ bacon & pineapple: first time, they got the order wrong; they made it with bacon only, no pineapple. The second time, they made it correctly, but it was waaayyy undercooked. The bacon was mostly raw. My wife was grossed out and did not even attempt to eat it! Mind you, this was her pizza. I was going to have them cook it more, but my wife stopped me as she was grossed out and was going to throw it away regardless. I dissected the pizza looking for sauce, found pinkish dough towards the center. We had 2 ice cream milkshakes, which were not bad. We will not be returning!

Eddy’s Nest Restaurant & Pizza – Menu with Prices – 735 12 Ave SW, Calgary

Great pizza! EXCEPTIONAL service. The bf and I ordered pizza from here last week. Got the ham and mushroom with fresh tomato. We ordered delivery. The pizza was quick and it was a really tasty. We don’t order pizza very often but both enjoyed it so much we will be ordering from here again soon. The day after we ordered we got a phone call from the owner calling to tell us that he had accidentally overcharged us a few dollars from the day before and he’d be crediting us. If he hadn’t called we’d never have noticed but he was just so honest! Now we love this place even more. Looking forward to their pizza on our next pizza night!

Thom’s Bread Bakery – Menu with Prices – 113 Butler Ave, Lancaster

Stopped in on a whim. The place was completely empty except the owners. We heard a lot about it so wanted to try a pizza. Menu listed margarita pizza so we ordered a small. The owner said they only have the dough for larges but we did not want a large. My thoughts, cut the dough in half and make two smalls. Well he ended up just doing the large anyway for the same price. Pizza was good. Very bread like instead of the traditional crust but the place is called Toms bread. Our margarita ended up just being plain cheese. I don’t think he actually knows that it’s supposed to be fresh mozzarella and basil. He had us all confused on the drinks as well since he was calling sparkling water, “gas water”. I don’t think he is from around here. Pizza was so so. Maybe is was because we were expecting one thing but got another

Pizza Pasta Pomodoro – Menu with Prices – 7975 N Cedar Ave Ste 105, Fresno

I really wanted to like this place. The owner is so nice and I am rooting for him. However, I have to be honest about the pizza. What makes great pizza is high quality cheese, fresh sauce, dough that has been long fermented and finally high heat to bake it. This place has a good gas oven, I was hopeful when I first saw that! However, as he made the pizza, I saw when he grabbed the cheese it came out of a bag. Ouch, pre-shredded cheese is not good Upon tasting the pizza, two things stood out. The cheese he used (fresh mozz, hard cheese and low moisture mozz) deliver an odd taste. It just didn’t work for me. I can’t pinpoint if it’s the aged cheese he’s putting on it or the preshredded mozzarella, bit it left a strong sour taste. Probably works great as a dipping cheese bit not for pizza. I had no chance to taste the sauce as the cheese was overpowering…in a bad way. Mind you, I just ordered a margherita pie so I expected a very typical option…Nothing fancy. The second thing noticed (other than that he shredded the fresh basil..why?) was that the crust had no flavor. It was very dense, I am guessing low hydration and probably just recently made. Certainly not the long, slow fermentation that good pizza deserves. After eating a few slices, I then noticed all of the oil left on the plate. It was swimming in oil. This was unsettling. Yes, the owner is from Italy. But he’s making a classically bad American pizza.

Papa Murphy’s Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza – Menu with Prices – 2920 N Power Rd Suite 103, Mesa

This is my new favorite pizza place. A pizza, made to order. You take it home and bake it. What’s so good about it it? It’s fresh, you get to choose what toppings go on it, what crust thickness and size. You can also decide whether or not to add cheese like I did, and if you do decide to skip the cheese like I did, you would replace it at home with fresh mozarella balls to make it more authentic! (Or to help somewhat with intolerance to yellow cheeses!) I ordered my veggie pizza and took it home. Baked it to perfection (by following the instructions they provide you with he pizza, along with a coupon for next time, yeah!) and had it for dinner with my husband. I used the fresh mozzarella which worked really well and was very delicious. The most convenient thing about this place is that the somewhat paper tray the pizza comes in can go into the oven! What! Who was the genius who thought of that?! I was worried the pizza won’t fit on my pizza stone at home but this solved the problem! It’s convenience at its best! The place is pretty popular. Within a minute of arriving at the store and just while parking and getting out of the car, 4 ppl were ahead of me! Wow! The family veggie pizza comes out to around $17. Not a bad deal for such a large delicious pizza! Definitely going back!

Sabatinos Pizza Deli & Grocery – Menu with Prices – 1000 S Geddes St, Syracuse

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE: I ordered a pizza through door dash in my order details I specified half Hawaiian half cheese and it arrived in a timely manner but these people at the pizza shop put ham on one half of the pizza and pineapple on the other side. Like can you not read do you not have common sense. We immediately called the restaurant and three hours later nothing! I’m pissed. Wish I could give it negative stars. Awful.

Emilia’s Pizzeria Menu with Prices 2995 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley

4.5 stars. Not the most legendary, but for East Coast style pie, it lives up. If you’re an East Coaster, and when I say East Coaster, I really mean northeasterner, the pizza scene out here is eh to fine. Yeah, you have the likes of Cheeseboard, but we don’t consider that pizza, more like a flatbread. Yeah, you have delicious neopolitan pies like Lucia’s, but again, sometimes you just want a regular pie. Nick’s has been our go-to, with their California twist, and we still got love for it, but Emilia’s hits it home. Emilia’s has been on my radar since moving to Berkeley a few years ago. Mystery calls and wait-times, weird hours, these legendary Yelp reviews… We finally got our sh*t together, and called at 4pm. We had to call a few times to get through and the earliest pick up was 6pm. It’s one dude. He picks up the phone, he makes the pizza, he takes your money. He’s listening to the Yankee’s, he’s not trying to get to know you, but he’s making some good NY style ‘za. For the most part, Emilia’s lives up to the hype and wins the best traditional style pie I’ve had while living it up in Cali. We went with the regular and the Gina Calabrese and it was so delicious. Nice crust, although a little chewy at the end, great toppings – not overloaded with cheese or sauce, letting that salty sopressata really shine thru. $20 for a regular pie and $26 for the meat. They really only do a few different toppings, so if you’re looking for a Hawaiian, or goat cheese and corn, this isn’t the spot for you.

Top It Off Pizza – Menu with Prices – 1700 TX-323 Loop Suite 108, Tyler

Went in to grab a pizza at lunch time a few weeks back. Both ladies there were extremely nice to start off with. Now I am from NY and was in NYC in April. So I already am picky. I have tried all the NY places in town and they lack one thing in their dough. I know pizza well and won’t mention what was missing but this place had their dough right. Crust was crispy and airy on the outside. Good sauce and cheese. If I had to be super picky a little odd taste on part of the crust and I feel maybe some run off from other pizza or garlic knots cooked in the same oven. Maybe just brush the oven off more. Very good stuff.

Nino’s Food Distribution Menu with Prices 1710 N Ellwood Ave #1521, Baltimore

If you have had pizza or subs in and around the city chances are the dough or rolls came from here. They do have a cash and carry and they take CCs. We just bought a sheet of 9 oz pizza dough balls for five bucks! Awesome. They do have cheese, sauce, etc. Check it out.

Collective Kitchen & Bar Menu with Prices 2132 Center St, Berkeley

A friend and I visited early evening on a Tuesday (maybe 5:30pm?). We had originally planned to go to Saturn but found it was closed when we arrived. We decided to stop at nearby Cinnaholic for a treat for later and asked for a Vegan friendly option for dinner that might be close. The ladies suggested a new place around the corner called Collective and recommended the pizza. The restaurant was easy to locate and had a simple menu of vegan comfort food options. The person at the register greeted us promptly and suggested menu items. We each ordered a slice of pizza and a bowl of the Mac n cheese to share. Our food came out quickly and WOW! I have to say IMO it was the best vegan pizza I have ever had at a restaurant! The crust was more like a Focaccia bread which was perfect, because it needed the structure to hold ALL THE VEGETABLES! I’m usually not a fan of a lot of vegan cheese on my pizza but this had the perfect ratio and no vegetable was over cooked. The crust also had a nice flavor! The Mac was also very delicious and was a very generous portion! I lived for that pizza though! Our server was also very nice and told me they were a relatively new restaurant. I really hope this place does well! They offered delicious food and great service. I will be back soon!
