I had the best buying experience ever with Marvin. He took the time to open the store on a holiday so that I could look at the different Primo models and make sure I was getting the best grill for me. His knowledge is encyclopedic – he knows the best way to cook just about anything on the grill. He made sure that I had everything I needed to be successful with my new grill – I had to stop myself from buying more than I really needed as a beginner. He’s a heck of a nice guy to talk to as well, and I learned a lot in the 90 minutes I spent in the store.

Tacos El Primo Food Truck – Menu with Prices – 1116 Concord Rd, Knoxville

Tacos El Primo es delicioso y auténtico. As soon as I walked up the aroma and appearance reminded me of the street vendors in Mexico City. I ordered the burrito con pollo ($6.00). It was quickly served and was delicious and the serving size was more than generous. There were plenty of condiments to add to it. I arrived at about 11:30 am and the parking lot was already full of people eating on their tailgates and picnic tables in 45 degree weather. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Bonus…they have a 99/100 health rating too. Buen trabajo, Tacos El. I just introduced my family to Tacos El Primo, needless to say they are hooked. My daughter loved the Quesadilla con pollo and my wife couldn’t stop raving about the steak burrito .

JAMES PERSE – Menu with Prices – 17 Arlington St, Boston

I really like the clothes but had a very mixed experience with the sales staff. The first time I came to this store, the store manager was there and she was excellent. She was welcoming, helpful and not at all pushy. The second time I came to this store, the two sales women there were too busy talking to each other to even greet me, let alone ask if I needed help. I walked around the store while they completely ignored me. Even when I was right next to them, looking at clothes, they didn’t bother to acknowledge me. Needless to say, I left without buying anything this time around.

Palacsinta LLC Menu with Prices 1404 McLendon Ave NE, Atlanta

On our way back from our Florida road trip we wanted to stop by Palacsinta for a Hungarian treat. Since I am from Europe and have Hungarian roots this place and Maria were a special find. It was nice to be able to use my rusty Hungarian and have someone to talk to. Maria explained that over the months people have requested baked goods more so than crepes and her store has turned into a bakery instead. She still prepares crepes for private parties, however. She gave us some samples and the cheesecake was delicious! I was hoping for some savory/sweet crepes to fill us up though, so that was a little disappointing. It is interesting to note that she also mentioned that Hungarians do not tend to seek out her establishment, but that her clientele is mostly Americans and Europeans. We did end up buying one of the plum pastries and I had it for breakfast the next day. Yum! I do wish I lived closer to Atlanta to be able to stop by for a visit more often.

Primos grill – Menu with Prices – 435 W Hatch Rd, Modesto

Primos’s Grill is a newly opened Taco Truck.. at least in this location that i know of. They used to have a little stand by Ricky’s market on Olympia. Carne asada is his specialty. Tacos are good and I can personally vouch.. NO BGs (bubble guts) after you eat here. So when i’m working this way, i always swing by here. Order to serve time is reasonable about 5-8mins.. lady who takes the order is very nice and always gets your order right the first time. Thanks, Primo!

Dining In Inc – Menu with Prices – 1645 Raoul Wallenberg Blvd, Charleston

It is important to have kosher options whether you live in Charleston or are just visiting. Marcie works hard to provide great kosher food whether for a pop up cafe, hosting a party, or to make your holiday easier. Holiday menus come out before each holiday so that you can order all or even just part of your holiday meal. Holiday and challah orders must be in by Tuesdays at 5pm. Pick-up is on Thursdays from 1pm – 6pm & Friday from 8am – 4pm. Traditional Jewish food made locally. Visiting from out of town? Kosher meals can be delivered to your hotel. My favorite is the cinnamon challah special. Regular challah available weekly. Challah comes in small, large, or dinner rolls. Order ahead, or stop by and hope there is a challah left!

Dobo’s Deli The Massage Cafe – Menu with Prices – 19 S San Joaquin St, Stockton

I went in on my lunch break. It was hot as heck in there. There were like 5 people waiting for food. The cook (who was there by herself) doesn’t aknowledge me for 5 minutes, or the two ladies who come in after me, or the third lady after them. The other two ladies were waiting 5 minutes for the cook to even look up and figure out that the order that was sitting on the counter was thiers (a call in). She takes 5 minutes tocheck them out… After about 15-20 minutes of waiting and one other person (the third lady she didn’t aknowledge) walking out, I ask her if my food is ready, and she says she is starting mine next. I wasted 20 minutes of my lunch waiting for food that didn’t even get STARTED. Now I have to wait somewhere else and be late to work…or go hungry. It’s 12:30 in the afternoon. You have to be able to handle the lunch crowd. Im still hungry because I told her not even to bother with the grilled cheese sandwich I ordered. Should i really have to wait 20 minutes for a grilled cheese sandwich?

Little Dutch Garden Menu with Prices 1910 S Owyhee St, Boise

Words can’t describe how cool that place is but I will try. Drinks are affordable. Faces are friendly. The backyard (not sure what to call it) is like a playground for adults who drink and like to be social. Bring a steak to cook on the grill, yes, in the backyard, a steak, a grill!! One day I was offered some steak by a group of people that had just grilled. It was weird to be offered a slice of steak in the bar, I said yes of course. You can chill by the fire pit or throw horseshoes even when it is a cooler season. Went outside the other day (January) and the fire pit was roaring and the horseshoe pits were looking lonely. This is a stop if you like dive bars but definitely a stop if you llloooovvveeeee dive bars and they make you giddy.

Curbside Casseroles – Menu with Prices – 5130 Wheelis Dr, Memphis

YES YES YES!!!! Curb Side, you are my new best friend. So last night I had a gentlemen friend stop by for dinner, and since I don’t cook, I was in quite the bind. I am one of those people that can mess up boiling water…Seriously. Unless there are explicit instructions, chances are I am going to mess it up somehow…heck, even if there ARE detailed instructions. And I wasn’t going to order a pizza. That just wasn’t even an option (even though it is what I would normally do). Well, if you are a girl like me, have no fear. They tell you EXACTLY what to do, honey. Even I was impressed with how easy it was. So what all did I get? Shrimp and grits, spinach madeliene, garlic bread, salad, and one seriously incredible strawberry cake. And all I had to do was pop some of it in the oven. And all of that for just under $60. If you were at a restaurant you would have spent WAY over that and it tasted better than any restaurant probably would. So long story short, Curb Side will be seeing a lot of me. I love that it is fresh and easy peasy. Totally swooning here…over the dinner they made me and the guy.

Taqueria el primo Menu with Prices 615 S Euclid St, Anaheim

When I saw that Taqueria El Primo was opening up, my only complaint was that it took so long. It’s hard waiting for a new taco place to open! I have this theory on picking out Mexican food. I waited for the sign, then one day it arrived! The White trucks! If I see lots of white work trucks at a place to eat, you know it’s a good place to eat; so take a chance. I love potato & chorizo w/cheese burritos. LOVE THEM. I drive in front of Taqueria El Primo every morning. I look right. I see the open sign. I drive by. Then one day, I stopped. My car made me stop. I used the drive-through. The man at the window was so very nice and cheerful at 7:30 in the morning! He repeated my “no egg” comment and asked me to drive up. I get to the window and there were this nice, cheery man and a bouquet of flowers on the counter. It was a beautiful morning and the prospect of eating a Potato and Chorizo burrito was making me happy!. It was all I could do to not rip into that mini-bomb-shaped, foil-wrapped packet of food. It held so much promise. I got to work, make my coffee pod and settled in for a promising breakfast. TAQUERIA EL PRIMO did not disappoint. I wanted to tell everyone that they should go there. I would have held a sign and waved it for him. The chorizo was so good, the gooey cheese and the seasoned potatoes (NOT hash-browns, No, NO, NO) were perfect. I have been back for this delicacy once again. It is all I can do to not drive there every day. The price of the burrito was so fair. It was so very good. I want this place to make it, so please go buy your favorite food there. I understand they have Menudo on the weekend if that’s your thing. #GoodFood #GoodPrice #Burritos #Menudo #Delicioso

P K Deli & Market – Menu with Prices – 716 E 64th St, Tacoma

I want to tell the whole world, DO NOT EVER GO & SUPPORT THIS STORE! My boys and their friend experienced racism in this establishment. They went there to buy candy and the owner told them that they needed to hurry and get out. He said he can’t stand young “black people” at his store. The boys ended up still buying something from his store when they left to prove they had money. I went there to confront him and he said by “experience” he had to protect his store. I asked if he ever saw these boys take anything in the past and he admitted No, but their kind has. I refuse to give any business to them. He was yelling in my face and had his hands up and said the boys were lieing, but he caught himself saying the same things the boys admitted. No one should ever be treated this way. IF YOU BELIEVE THAT THERE IS STILL RACISM AROUND, DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!

Mandarin Express – Menu with Prices – 140 University Town Center Dr, Sarasota

This mall is an amazing mall. It’s bright and sunny, as is Florida so it is certainly appealing. There is no food good but there are some economical places to grab a meal, such as sushi on a conveyor belt or a pizza custom made just for you. There’s a Starbucks and some finer dining such as Seasons 52 and Capital Grill. The shopping is mid-to-high end so affordable stops and spots for a splurge. I got my favorite Michael Kors purse here (orange!) and cheap great 3-wick candles from Bath & Body Works. There’s certainly a lot of shops so you can spend your day at the UTC Mall – especially if you pack in a visit to the Genius Bar at the big Apple Store in the almost center. There’s a sitting area around the Starbucks in the middle of you need to rest, or drop off the guy you have in tow who didn’t want to come to the mall in the first place (once he’s done with the Apple Store of course). Certainly and as with most malls there’s more womens shops then mens, but there’s as Art of Shaving and a Microsoft store. The later where you can check out the newest Xbox. The on drawback is what I call the beggars. The kiosks in the hall are mostly side shops of use lien Zagg where you can get a screen cover for your new iPad; however there are also the hair and skin kiosks that want to offer to sample or talk to your for a minute. Not a fan of that whole scenario. Best part of the mall is the valet parking. Certainly comes in handy on a rainy day or holiday season.

Fine Wine & Good Spirits Premium Collection – Menu with Prices – 558 Centerville Rd Ste D, Lancaster

A great selection of staple and seasonal drinks, balanced by friendly and helpful staff. Just tonight I visited our local FW&GS (what we used to call the State Store in days past) trying to find a good red wine for my wife. I’m a whiskey and bourbon drinker who couldn’t tell you the first thing about wine other than what I read online. One of the staff, reading the obviously perplexed look on my face as I scanned wine sites on my phone, asked if I needed help. Like a patient sage, he spent 15 good minutes walking me through the various wines… regions, varieties, and what to expect with each from first sip to final notes. If you need a go-to spirit or that libation for a special occasion (to enjoy responsibly, of course ð???) feel free to stop in. Whether you know what you need or whether what you need is wisdom imparted, the folks at FW&GS have you covered.
