Rick’s is a dive bar template. One of the few places left in America where you can drink and smoke. The pizza is great and the sandwiches are divine all being served on a paper plate. friendly bartenders and a jukebox and two pool tables. they stay open late and open early. Grab a fish bowl of coors for 2.25 and a philly and chat the locals because everyone is friendly. watch whatever on the multiple tv’s (they will change the channels for you) Though extremely divey it’s still clean and hospitable. Never a dull moment and plenty of value. check it out. Tip good and be well

Wing & Fish Georgia – Menu with Prices – 690 Powder Springs St, Marietta

Affordable, delicious, and welcoming, Wing and Fish is one of my favorite places to eat. Their menu hosts a wide variety of selections, from American classics (wings, burgers, and Philly cheesesteaks) to eastern fusion dishes such as teriyaki chicken, yakisoba, and sesame chicken. Furthermore, the staff is extremely friendly, especially the Korean owners who can often be seen at the cash register. They’re extremely loyal to regulars, and remember the names of frequent customers. Their attitude is spectacular and I wish them success in their business ventures. Wing and fish boasts a peach lemonade that is out of this world and while I try to stay away from soda, this particular drink is one I can never resist! The serving sizes are generous to say the least, and they are very accommodating of requests for sauce adjustments. They have TVs visible from anywhere and if the restaurant is relatively empty, will take channel change requests. Usually, the channels are set to sports or sitcoms. In my opinion, wing and fish has very fair prices, especially considering the portion size and excellent service received. If near this area, definitely swing by!

Philly Style Steaks & Subs – Menu with Prices – 7450A Tidewater Dr, Norfolk

The best philly I’ve ever had! The atmosphere takes you back in time in a great way. The staff is extremely friendly and treats your order with TLC. Example: we ordered one philly to share and it was served sliced in half, each half wrapped separately, with a generous stack of napkins. Each bite was identical and loaded with made-to-order steak and grilled onions. I will definitely be back.

Sargent Taco Shop – Menu with Prices – 698 Sargent Ave, Winnipeg

Hidden gem, thanks to Yelp and some locals. Not located in downtown Winnipeg, but if you can make the trip it’s definitely worth it! It is literally a hidden gem because there is no proper sign outside the shop to identify itself, so definitely follow google maps. The moment you walk in, your senses start tingly because it all smells and looks good. The staff are very friendly and greet you with a smile! You see people come in and out of the shop so often. Many returning customers that make a quick stop for a bite before they go about the rest of their day, so you know it must be good if they always come back. The best part about this place is definitely the menu. You can get 3 Tacos for $7 or $8 (beef) and 6 churros for $6. You can eat it to go or in the little shop itself (I would recommend doing so if you have time because the moment you get your order you’re going to want to eat it right then and there). But of course they have complimentary sauces to add on to your tacos! Be sure to ask the staff which one is which, because they have some extremely hot sauces and they tell you what compliments which food item. I’d definitely come back because this makes for a cheap date, and some good old tacos!

Bishop’s Gate Tavern – Menu with Prices – 1503 State St, New Haven

Ok, have you checked out the BEST bar in town? Yes, this is the go to place for a night out with some friends, or just a cool sports bar to watch the game! They have a wide selection of drinks and will make just about anything! Porky and their staff are extremely nice. When you walk in, all the locals are there and it’s a really nice, cozy, environment. They have a really nice closed off area in the back where you can host private events! Just ask Porky for reservation details! Very soon, they will also be serving food so I can’t wait til then. There’s parking on the street and it’s so easy to find on the Main Street. Make sure to check this place out!

Pocketeer Billiards – Menu with Prices – 2444 Clinton St, Buffalo

I simply love this place. I started coming here before I was even old enough to drink. Back then, they only had pool tables and darts. Man, how times have changed…and for the better!!! Pocketeer now has a ton of pinball machines as well as a variety of arcade games. Not some old knock off arcade games. I’m talking new ones with popular themes such as The Walking Dead, Halo, Terminator, among others. They even have the classics like pong, but with a modern touch. They also have plenty of TV’s to watch the game on, with a lounge area to relax and watch. The service is always outstanding. The best part is that they are always open late. On this occasion , it was a Wednesday night and they were open until midnight…that’s awesome! Overall, I always look forward to date nights at Pocketeer Billiards. I would check out their Facebook page for info on leagues and such. It’s nice to see a local business grow over the years!

Elevated Sandwiches – Menu with Prices – 1612 N College Ave unit k, Fort Collins

Finally went here after putting it off and I have been missing out!! I got the Philly cheesesteak and it was the most flavorful and tender meat I’ve ever had on a Philly. It was very comparable to bulgogi. The bread is soft so you don’t rip your mouth open biting into it. Even half a sandwich was plenty of food. Also tried the cheese curds- the breading was delicious and the marinara to dip it was the perfect flavor addition (made me nostalgic for another marinara I had in a foreign land). The only thing that disappointed me was how small a portion we got. One unusually cool thing: they have Blue Sky in the soda fountain! I’ve never seen that anywhere else. Also go with your patience. The cooking and order taking are done by only a husband and wife team so if they’re busy it might take a bit to get your food. Can’t wait to go back and try more!!

GameTime Fort Myers – Menu with Prices – 10037 Gulf Center Dr, Fort Myers

2 stars/5 and here’s why… the games? 5/5, something for all ages and worth the price – especially if you pay attention to deals. WiFi? 1/5, they have it but it barely works and they make you sign and check into Facebook which is 1. A inconvenience for the people without Facebook and 2. They just want people to know you’re here. Food and service? 1/5 – every single time I decide to eat at GameTime so I can do the $16.99 dine and play deal, I almost instantly regret it. The service is terrible. Everything is EXTREMELY slow. Come greet us? Nope. They’d rather sit at the bar and chat with coworkers. Refills? Forget it. Just order two to begin with. And the food… if I’m waiting 20-30 minutes for food… I’d hope that it’d actually be worth my money but it never is. The only thing good on the menu is the curly fries. I’ve tried multiple meals, has multiple servers and it really doesn’t change. I live about 5 minutes away so when I get sick of the sun I like to come here. I do think it’s funny that I’ve seen what I believe to be the manager a couple times but I’ve never seen him interact with a customer. I only come back for the games and it’s sad. Because with GameTime’s prime location and games for all ages, they have the opportunity to make a lot of money probably and be potentially really busy. But like I said. The service and food sucks so I don’t really recommend coming here unless you’re really only there for the games. So 2/5 stars for the games and ease of location alone. The rest? Forget it. So today during our visit… I got a pizza. Double pepperoni and onion. My pizza looks more like a cheese and onion pizza. My sister got the Cobb salad and simply asked for no bleu cheese and it came out with it on it. When we told the server she simply stared at us and asked if we wanted a new one and my sister said yes please she didn’t even take the old one. It’s been 15 minutes, we’re still waiting on a replacement salad. Drinks are empty and the only thing that came out right was my boyfriends pizza.

Amigos Restaurant and Pizza – Menu with Prices – 1135 E Erie Ave, Philadelphia

To say i love cheesesteaks is an understatement! I will gladly and easily travel for one especially one in the philly area! Yesterday the guys and i travelled to philly and i was able to bite into one of the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had! Def a top 3! Sometimes i prefer the simple fried onions, wiz and steak and hits. But yesterday i decided to overload it! Amazing idea! If you get a chance check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!

Jerry’s Lounge – Menu with Prices – 1209 E Montgomery Cross Rd, Savannah

Feels like home when you’re here! It’s definitely a locals spot but also a place where everyone is welcome (except weirdo creeps, which I thankfully have never experienced here). The bartenders are awesome and will usually know your name and drink order not long after your first visit. There’s no kitchen but they often have events where food is provided. They keep cards and some games at the bar and have plenty of tv’s for any game on. Great place to go meet the locals, sing a song, or just grab a beer!

DC Philly CO – Menu with Prices – 5001 E Berry St, Fort Worth

This place is a hidden gem! The food is filled with flavor and always served fresh. We ordered the classic philly combo which came with fries and a canned coke and another classic philly combo with bacon added. By far this is one of the best philly places I’ve tried. The meat to cheese ratio was spot on and it was seasoned perfectly. Don’t be intimidated by the area, the staff is very welcoming and friendly. They have a seating area for eating inside and slot machines to play while you wait. I recommend ordering a slice of cake with your food or ordering one to go. The red velvet cake slice we tried was moist with a decadent cream cheese frosting. I will definitely return to this location and would 100% recommend it to anyone in the mood for a classic philly!

P T’s Olde Fashioned Grille – Menu with Prices – 8116 Market St, Wilmington

The following statement is not given, nor should it be taken, lightly: PT’s is an ILM Institution & Standard! Multiple locations and multiple years serving Locals and Gappers alike, PT’s is an ILM/WB staple! Unlike many places, they carved through the “Three-Year Curse” and remained true to their original purpose and goals: Great food, incredible locations, awesome interior designs, great & cycling on-Tap Selections all offered by a great Staff and Owners whom care about their Customers, as much as they do about the area!

Laundry on the Fax Menu with Prices 10941 E Colfax Ave, Aurora

Excellent. The main portion of the building is self-serve but the staff is super friendly & helpful if needed. Express service is available but I don’t know the price. Coin change machine and ATM available on site. Change machine takes bills $1-$20. There is also a slot vending machine for soap & dryer sheets on site. Limited parking behind the building, but plenty of street curbside parking if you don’t mind a short walk. Lots of basket carts & machines. I went on a Tuesday & it wasn’t very busy. The man told me they’re going to open a pizza shop next door. Will definitely come back.
