Can we talk about how this place actually remembers your orders?! I love how sweet the owner is and how he actually takes the time to remember your crazy orders for future visits. Even better when this place is near home and work. This is my go to place for coffee and redbull Italian soda. After coming here a few times asking for huckleberry flavoring–he suggest getting that flavor for me. Also the cheese bagel is soooo good and even better when warmed up of course. Not to mention, I’m a sucker for banana bread..and would always get one each time I come here. Can we talk about how amazing the coffee beans are? It’s freshly made each day and you could even buy them in bags!!! It’s great as gifts for any occasions. Who doesn’t love some good coffee beans?

Sunset BigFoot Java Menu with Prices 1100 E Sunset Dr, Bellingham

YES. I was traveling through and got to my hotel around 9pm and all I wanted was a warm drink and pastry. PERFECT. I used uber eats and ordered a Large Hot Chocolate (IT’S Large no joke) and Banana Bread. By the time I got my order there was a fantastic note on it. So simple yet so kind thanking me for ordering. The banana bread was still moist and warmed in its pastry bag, and the hot coco was absolutely perfect temperature. I know your thinking it’s just banana bread and hot coco, well it was way better. Try it, trust me you won’t regret it at all. Went back by the next morning and got the banana bread and the Mythical Mocha! It was way better than any Frappuccino from a Starbucks. As an out of towner thank you for your kind service and amazing drinks and food! Definitely will be back!

Coffee del Rey – Menu with Prices – 1915 Central Expy #340, Plano

Wow! I lived around here for years and didn’t know there could be good places like these hidden in that corner until after I moved. It seems to be classified under hippie talk to want freshly roasted coffee but i’d argue it’s not even coffee if it’s past 2-3 weeks of roast date. Everything that’s good about coffee is gone after that time so the bags of coffee you buy at supermarkets are past the best before date. Not even organic stores sell fresh coffee. Now to this roastery. This place is awesome. The price of coffee is amazing value. The bags are black and have vents for proper storage and zip locks for convenience. The coffee tastes amazing and it’s perfectly roasted. I went on Saturday and there wasn’t much foot traffic which kinda worried me cause this place is a gem. People love to mention starbucks but wow they don’t even come close. Not even some of the better cafes in Dallas do. It’s conveniently by the highway, ample parking space, perfect outside seating due to less foot traffic and amazing coffee!

Quick Time Espresso – Menu with Prices – 1515 112th St SE, Everett

I love that their coffee doesnt taste burnt like other places. Plus when they make my white chocolate americano, they completely stir everything. I notice a lot of coffee shops just throw the stuff in there and make u mix it. It doesnt matter who is working; the coffee is always consistently the same and made correct. Its just a bonus they are all kind and efficient!

Hill Street Donut House – Menu with Prices – 1926 S Coast Hwy, Oceanside

While I have genuine nostalgia 4 anything that still has the hill street name in it. I did not have a fantastic experience at the donut shop. I stopped to get a quick bagel and coffee before an appointment, they did not have much of a selection on breakfast sandwiches Etc and when I ordered a bagel the gentleman offered me plain or everything. Those are your choices. After a bit of time the coffee and the bagel came out and I went to my car to snack on the way to my appointment and much to my shock there were no condiments for the bagel in the bag. No cream cheese no butter no Jam nothing! I mean what the heck who just needs a plain bagel with nothing! The coffee also was not strong and delicious as I always anticipate coffee to be and the visit left me feeling very unsatisfied. I doubt I will be back anytime soon

On Your Mark Cafe – Menu with Prices – 639 Forest Ave, Staten Island

I ate in here for breakfast with the guy I am currently dating. I have had food from this place before, but never ate-in until yesterday. Like Heather (my sister-in-law) said, it is funded by “On Your Mark.” Your order is taken by and served by the consumers (People who utilize the services of OYM. I had pancakes with bacon. Matt had eggs with hash-browns, bacon and a bagel. We also had 2 bottles of water. Our breakfast bill came to $6.25. Our conversation during the meal: FYI Matt and I are both Jewish. Matt: This a really good bagel. I think it’s the best I ever had. Me: Now is it a good bagel that tastes like regular bread,? or a good bagel as in a JEWISH bagel? Matt: Jewish bagel, wanna try a piece? Me: (Makes “this is the best i’ve ever had face”) Matt: You don’t like it? Me: NOOO I love it! This IS a Jewish bagel.

DeWitt Bagel Company – Menu with Prices – 4320 E Genesee St, Syracuse

This is a bagelry that is an expansion of the Caz Bagel Co. They purchase half made bagels from a baker in the Bronx which means they are real bagels. The shop does not possess the same aroma as a true bagel shop, but the end result is the best bagel around our area with Bruegers a close second. Any other bagel is fake which includes Wegman’s and Panera. The shop is immaculately clean and the service is excellent although a bit slow. The bottom line is the bagel. If the bagel is good, that is all that matters, and the Caz/DeWitt Bagel Co meets the goal of producing an excellent product. Read my review of the Caz Bagel Co for more info. The only drawback is the recess Coffee they serve; not a fan although many folks like Recess Coffee, I don’t. It’s too Starbucks. Please buy a bagel or a dozen to take home every week. This bagelry deserves our support.

Valentine Coffee Co. – Menu with Prices – 5918 W Vliet St, Milwaukee

Update on 6/11/19 & 6/12/19: returned and tried their seasonal Lavender Latte (hot) and vanilla bean latte (hot). The lavender latte was very flora and calming and the lavender taste stayed in my mouth for a long time. The coffee itself tasted not very strong. So that is something perfect for when you feel you want not just caffeine but a bit more fun/flavor. The vanilla bean latte was very smooth, rich and sweet. But the level of sweetness was just right – I mean you would definitely say it is a sweet drink but it doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable. Previous review: I have bought bags of coffee beans from them, and they are all in season, fresh and great beans (I judged beans by their colors, smells, shapes, and the feelings when I hold them in hand). However, for some reason I never sat down and tried their latte or mocha which are recommended by many people until recently. Sooo, I went on a weekday morning to grab a large sea salt mocha (all sizes include 2 shots as standard) and a power scone. First of all, temperature of the drink was right, which was very important for an espresso drink to me. Second, the milk foam was light yet dense. Well done! Third, the drink was no over sweet but smooth and rich. In addition, the power scone which is not sweet yet dense and nutty went very well with the drink. So together, they really warmed and energized me up! Atmosphere was great. Staff were roasting or making coffee, some customers were reading, others like me were grabbing coffee for work.

Seeds Coffee Co. – Homewood Menu with Prices 174 Oxmoor Rd, Birmingham

Most of the reviews here are about the place and the coffee served. I don’t see any information about the beans they sell, so here goes. I moved to Birmingham a little over a year ago and began a search for FRESH beans. Go ahead. I dare you. Find fresh beans in Birmingham. Turns out, Seeds is the place. I buy all my beans there and can count on finding fresh ones, which is very important to me. I buy two bags at a time so it lasts a while. My tip for the day: If you grind your beans after about 7 days and freeze the ground coffee in an air tight bag, the coffee retains its fresh flavor. Do not freeze whole beans. And the AeroPress (found on Amazon) beats any other brewing method IMHO. Back to Seeds, I drive about 15 miles to get there, and it’s worth the trip. The baristas are knowledgeable and helpful.

Cafe Cabinet – Menu with Prices – 250 W Ocean Blvd B2, Long Beach

There are a lot of cool coffee shops and great coffee around in Long Beach. However, I see why this place is very special and deserves the 5-stars that it has up-kept. Located between Ocean Boulevard and Magnolia Avenue, is this hidden gem. The owner is very attentive and is very knowledgeable in coffee/beans – so you can ask for recommendations! Also this place is super dog-friendly. I see many dogs coming in and getting treats! I absolutely love the cold brew here! Also, if you ask–the owner can make the cold brew less strong for you, as I am more susceptible to caffeine than others. The cold brew has consistently been the Ethiopia cold brew, which I love best! They now serve scrumptious muffins! Last time I went, they were serving banana muffins, pumpkin muffins, and coffee muffins. I got to try the banana muffin which was was very filling and delicious! They also have cool artwork in the back of the shop and inside the restroom!

Brandywine Coffee Roasters – Menu with Prices – 1400 N Dupont St, Wilmington

Do you want to purchase high quality, delicious and fun coffee from an amazing small company? Then you need to order from Brandywine Coffee Roasters! Just before Thanksgiving I ordered 3 – 12oz bags of beans. When the coffee arrived the day after Thanksgiving, I received a 12 oz bag of Cosmic Turkey and a 6oz bag of the Ethiopia Delecho – so I sent an email explaining that I was missing some beans. Being a holiday weekend, I expected that I wouldn’t hear anything until some time mid-week, but on Sunday Josh emailed me with an apology and a promise to send out the missing coffee on Monday morning. Monday rolls around, and I get an email that the coffee has shipped! All I was expecting was a 6oz and a 12 oz Ethiopia Delecho to account for the missing coffee – but you know what Josh did? He sent me 2 – 12 oz bags of the Ethiopia AND a 12oz bag of Panama Elida Estate. Now that’s what I call customer service! https://www.brandywinecoffeeroasters.com/ #brandywinecoffeeroasters #bestcoffeeever #nowthatscustomerservice #brandywinecoffeeroasterscustomerforlife

Brady’s Specialty Coffee – Menu with Prices – 309 W Rusk St, Tyler

We LOVE coming here! The family that runs this place is always so friendly and fun to talk to. We love getting their muffins – raspberry and lemon one is particularly tasty – and they give you an option to have it warmed with butter on top ? The drink names are fun and the actual coffee is delicious! It’s also a great place to study and get some work done. They have a policy about taking calls outside and keeping the noise to a minimum. The atmosphere is really relaxing and it’s fun looking at all of the local art that’s displayed around the shop. You can also buy coffee from around the world, displayed in giant jars towards the back of the room, and get it ground up to take home ? We definitely recommend this place!

Graffeo Coffee Roasting Co. – Menu with Prices – 735 Columbus Ave, San Francisco

I first had their coffee decades ago at the Twenty-Nine Palms Inn…and became a fan. Since then, we’ve mourned the closing of the Bev Hills location and just pick up beans when we go to the Bay Area – although our kids now send us gifts. Not always the cheeriest of folks…but they really know their stuff. Yes, just beans – grind your own if possible. We started with a 60/40 dark/light mix and now have shifted towards the darkside. Will be trying the decaf soon. On another note – works great if you accidentally leave the bag in your car overnight – lovely aroma.
