First time visit at this cute store. Although there are only 2 aisles, this store is really well stocked. You can find several variety of breads and pastries. This is more of an outlet store as they sell bread that is 3-5 days from expiring. I will definitely be coming here to purchase a loaf of bread for $1.xx instead of $3.xx at the grocery store. Bread was very well kept and not crushed at all. Cashier was friendly and made conversation with us while we checked out.

Tri State Baking Co Menu with Prices 6800 S Washington St, Amarillo

Please do not buy this bread. Yes it is cheap, but for a reason. I picked this up at our local grocery store. We ate 1 loaf, no issues, bought another loaf and halfway through the loaf, we found a bug, inbedded in the bread. So gross, obviously they need to reevaluate their quality control, or lack thereof. Never buying this brand ever again, I’m glad none of my family got sick.

Bimbo Bakeries USA – Menu with Prices – 5050 E Evans Ave, Denver

I love these little bakery-adjacent outlet stores. This one will give you a free “loaf of bread” with your first purchase. You will also get a free “loaf of bread” with every $10 spent. In case you’re not getting enough free bread, you will also be given a punch card, which entitles you to TWO free loaves of bread after you spend $40 (“punches” are in 8 – $1, 10 – $2, and 4 – $3 increments so you’re basically guaranteed to get the full value of each purchase recorded on the card). “Loaf of bread” is anything off a rack by the door that, on my visit, had bread, buns (hamburger and hot dog), and english muffins. There’s a huge variety of products available. 3 for $5 Thomas bagels. $2 loaves of good, dense, whole grain & seed bread. $1.50 potato buns. Plus a huge variety of desserts and snack cakes and more breads and buns and flats and granolas and seeds… as well as some non-bakery items like jellies, drinks, takis, condiments, and jerky.

Flowers Baking Co – Menu with Prices – 6285 SW State Rd 200, Ocala

This store is ALWAYS clean, well stocked and staffed! Prices are excellent…beats paying over $3.00 for one loaf at the grocery! Dates on 99 cent bread are several days from expiration. They have a bargain table for short dated products at a discount too. I make the most of my 16 mile drive to shop here!

Main Street Market & Deli – Menu with Prices – 881 Main St, Riverside

I recently moved to the area and was super hungry so put in grocery market in my search engine. This place wasn’t too far from my home but unfortunately it is nor a market Nor deli. It is a liquor store that has a taqueria inside. Everything look dingy and dirty I did walk out with an ice cream bar and a bag of ice. I walked in expecting to purchase a few grocery items that I could perhaps cook for lunch or dinner. Super disappointed overall if you’re looking for a liquor store I don’t know if they sell alcohol but they do have a variety of sodas and candy and junk food as well as tobacco products. The cashier who am I assume is the owner of the store was very friendly and was surprise when he heard that they are advertised as a market and deli online. So basically if you need something quick and easy they will have it for you or if your hungry and want to try their tacos go for it. I was in the mood to cook my own food I didn’t want to purchase any…

Wegmans Bakery Menu with Prices 7936 Telegraph Rd, Alexandria

So I’m in my 30’s which means not only do I write reviews about grocery stores, but I actually update my reviews about grocery stores…because I just have SO MANY FEELINGS about going grocery shopping. When we last left off, I was 3 years younger and spawn-less so I was mostly impressed with Wegmans Wing Bar which was a life saver during those Super Bowl Sunday potlucks. Nowadays, I’m really impressed with how awesomely baby friendly the store is. As soon as you enter a hen pops out of a hen house over the bread aisle yelling “Cock-a-doodle-doo!” And if you are in the meat section, they have a giant train set that goes round and round and round. In fact whenever my daughter goes to any grocery store (not just Wegmans) she looks up and yells “Choo! Choo” and waits for the train to come around and is always sadly disappointed when it doesn’t show. They also have a little play area in the in-store cafe which is pretty cool too (albeit a little run down and dirty). The aisles are wide and their selection of produce and goodies is mind blowing. Every time I walk around the aisles, daughter in tow. I breathe a sigh of relief. I pretend the tropical fruit I’m putting in my cart is from a Hawaiian roadside stand and not just some giant chain store in the suburbs. It’s almost like a mini vacation! Their organic and natural food selection is wide and varied so I never have to make extra stops at special grocery stores which is what I usually have to do when I’m closer into the city. I’m absolutely addicted to their sourdough bread which doesn’t have any extra additives like most other brands. And I dare you to find me a better guacamole! Prices are comparable if you have a Wegmans card and don’t forget to buy their organic chocolate chip cookies in the bakery aisle before you leave. And I should probably end this review now before I’ve written a whole novel about a grocery store. See you in aisle six!

Franz Bakery Outlet – Menu with Prices – 10014 Pacific Ave S, Tacoma

Awesome place to get deeply discounted bread and baked items. When I stop by here I get THREE loaves of my favorite sourdough bread for $5. I pay $5 per ONE loaf at other stores. Aisles and bread racks are smartly located to get in and out real quick. The only downside to this store is the location. It’s in a very sketchy part of town off the avenue. Keep a close eye on your car while you are inside and be prepared to shew off vagrants and riff-raff hitting you up for spare change.

Hy-Vee Bakery – Menu with Prices – 405 E Nifong Blvd, Columbia

I love Hy-Vee. I love it so much, I’ll go in a blizzard, or during a storm, or in the wee hours in the morning, or whenever I need something. I LOVE wandering through the aisles. I can get lost in the different products, and the general feel of the place. When I’m bummed, I go take a stroll through Hy-Vee, and I feel better immediately. The employees are incredibly friendly, and I’ve found myself in conversation with them more often than not. They know everything about the store, and have made some really great recommendations. They always have some sort of sale going on, which is helpful, and I love that they put up tags on their prices to show you exactly how much it’s on sale for–and they have a health scale they put up too, to show you which foods are good (and not) for you. The Chinese food is to die for. Healthier than a lot of other options, and they almost always have a sale. Our family ‘usual’ is the sesame chicken and the beef and broccoli, but it’s nice to branch out now and then. There have been times that I’ve gone in just for a few egg rolls for lunch (with the sweet and sour sauce). The sushi is great too. They have an awesome organic/gluten-free section too, which is much appreciated. It’s huge, and it’s really well organized. The one time I had an issue with some produce, I brought it back in, and they immediately exchanged it for something better. I appreciated how fast they resolved my problem, and it has never happened again. I’ve been shopping here three years, and it’s the only time I’ve ever had a problem. I’m nearly done at Mizzou, and I’m crushed to realize that wherever I’ll end up, there will be no Hy-Vee. What will I do!? No Chinese! No clean, bright grocery store! No very friendly, helpful employees!

Stroehman Thrift Store – Menu with Prices – 5970 Derry St, Harrisburg

I like the good prices on things like bread, cereal, English muffins, crackers, and on and on. Many times the bread products will have the same sell-by date as the day you are there. Others, like cereal, have earlier dates but if sealed, the are fine and cost half or less than half the price at grocery stores. They don’t have every product every time, but since they do not change the lay-out or crowd the aisles with displays, you always know where to look. Sometimes there are check-out lines, but things move faster because the cashier is no-nonsense and there is a bagger. Besides, you get to meet all kinds of people while waiting in line!

Sara Lee Outlet – Menu with Prices – 3232 Chelton Cir, Colorado Springs

I love this place !! Great deals and way way cheaper than a grocery store. Now they have an app sara lee . If u download the app u get a free loaf ! they get returns their drivers dont sell on their routes so, everyday they get different items! You do get a free item when u reach whatever the number is for the week on their whiteboard. She said anywhere between 8-12 bucks. Alot of variety there, they have jellys, chips, organic bread alot of neat items I’ve never tried before. Overall I had a great experience and will go back . Very nice girl who said hi upon entering and made sure i had a reward card and knew of the app and that i could get a free bread item for downloading it. Definitely worth the stop by. But as long as ur ok with close to date bread lol …

Sprouts Farmers Market – Menu with Prices – 1771 E Capitol Expy, San Jose

I’m late to the opening- however my hopes were far from let down when I entered Sprouts! First of all when I entered, the entire store felt very warm and inviting- due to its open displays of fresh produce and various other goods (sweets, breads etc.) The lack of high shelves in the middle of the store made the area feel much less crowded, which I would consider a huge plus since it made my trip far more comfortable. As for finding the groceries I needed, that went by much smoother than I expected! As previously mentioned, Sprouts’ products are openly displayed, making them easy to grab and move onto the next item on a grocery list. The aisles themselves were surprisingly pleasant- every item in a specific category was grouped with other items in that same category, eliminating the need to go on a wild goose chase for what you need! My favorite part about sprouts would be the “scoop your own snacks” area of the store! I really appreciate how they’ve implemented a system where you can pick and choose what snack foods you want and how much of it you want as opposed to pre-packaged containers (which they also have too if you don’t mind bulk!) From feel to product, Sprouts is DEFINITELY a store I will be returning to! (Side note: The cashier that I checked out with was very sweet and seemed to really enjoy her job!)

bakery outlet – Menu with Prices – 4751 N Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs

Bread prices at the grocery store seem to only go up, and it’s not like there’s been a lot of innovation in bread since the infamous slicing machine came out. If you’re like me and want to play less for a loaf of bread than the cost of a tank of gas, the outlet stores are the place to go. You’ll almost always find sandwich bread for $1 or just a little more for the freshest loaves. Huge loaves of fresh Russian Rye and Sourdough are also available, bagels and muffins, plus cookies and other sweets, soup/gravy mixes and jams. With the outlet card and the new app, there’s a lot of opportunity to stock up on breads at an affordable price.

Entenmann’s Oroweat Foods Company – Menu with Prices – 3393 Silverton Rd NE, Salem

Such a cool bread and snack store. Lots of affordable baked goods and they have a rewards program as well. They have an app they told us to download and then we got $2 off our purchase + we got a free baked item off a shelf for purchasing more than x-amount of dollars. That was real cool. Now what to do with all this bread? Freezing it for later use. We will definitely be back, because the bread is what you get at the grocery store but dollars cheaper. I really like the fact they have Everything bagels and bagel thins. My faves.
