Had lunch here for the first time. We had plans on going someplace else but saw the sign, so we thought we would go in and check it out. The girl at the register was super friendly, she waited on us and was very help. I ordered the tri tip sandwhich and my Husband got the pastrami. We ordered a potatoe salad to share. We were told they had a outside patio, small but cute. We sat out front it seemed a bit cooler. They have inside seating also. It was clean, and aside from the deli there is a nice meat counter to order from. They have several of wines and beers from the Solvang brewing company for sale. We really enjoyed our lunch and the meat on the tri tip was very lean which I loved. They have a few other sides that I plan on returning to try, but the potatoe salad was good. The only reason for the four starts and not the five was it was a bit confusing because the place is called Prime Time BBQ Meats, but on one side of the building it has a different name. That is not good, so I had looked up the wrong sign at first for times the place was open and closed. But I had the wrong sign. So they really need to correct that. But everything was tasty so check this place out.

Kirkendolls Eats&Treats – Menu with Prices – 280 E 70th St, Shreveport

Wow! We went to go to a place across the street that was closed and out of pure luck we stumbled upon this magical gem of BBQ. This is a family owned small dive that ended up being some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. I don’t even care for BBQ but when my wife and I left I didn’t leave with leftovers. And the price is amazing! 5 bucks for three chicken options that includes two sides a drink and a cookie. It’s better quality and more than what you could ever get fast food. I can’t believe how much each of us got for 5 bucks! I ordered the BBQ wings with dirty rice and potatoe salad and I would highly recommend both sides. My wife got the breast, which was HUGE!!!, along with potatoe salad and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was perfect. All in all this place is worth every penny spent and a hidden gem!

German Guys German Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 10438 Waterloo Rd, Stockton

My wife and I had lunch here on a Thursday, I mention this because they are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. As soon as we entered the door we were met by the waitress who graciously seated us and took our drink order. We would later find out that this young lady and her husband were the owners. There is a lunch menu and a dinner menu. There are additional items on the dinner menu. We both ordered the Pork Schnitzel. My sides were the potatoe salad and the noodle salad. My wife had read a comment from someone else about there being peas in the potatoe salad. I liked the peas. They added a sweetness that I enjoyed. The noodle salad included white chicken chunks which was a nice extra protein. My wife also had the potatoe salad which she enjoyed. Her second side was sauerkraut. I tried a bite of the sauerkraut and decided next time to have it as one of my sides. Let me say here that I was not exposed to German food growing up like my wife was. Throughout our lunch my wife was reminiscing about her mom’s German influenced meals. When our lovely waitress asked if we wanted mustard or ketchup with our meals my wife said yes to mustard, because that was how they ate Schnitzel as children. I really liked it with mustard too. We were too full to have desert but seeing Yelp pictures of the Apple Strudel makes me want to try it the next time we go back. As we were about to leave the husband/Chef came into the dining room and was speaking with another couple there. By the time we paid our bill, this young German couple had ingratiated themselves to us both. This is another family (mom and pop) business that is deserving of our (and your support) to succeed. I am looking forward to coming back and expanding my introduction and appreciation for German home style cooking.

Big Box Catering – Menu with Prices – 5014 Ross Ave, Dallas

The bbq sauce, both regular and spicy, are DELICIOUS. It’s really good! However, I don’t think I’d recommend. Read on… Sides: Mac and cheese, potato salad, corn bread, beans, and cole slaw. Go big or go home right? The potato salad was tasty but can’t say much about any of the other sides. Mac and cheese had the texture of thick, fake cheese, cole slaw was missing something, both were just EH. My boyfriend liked the corn bread though. Beans were ok as well. The sides were just… ok… and that’s the problem. As for the meat, ordered lean, sliced brisket and maybe that’s not a good idea bc obviously the fattier cut is always better, but it just wasn’t good. The sauce saved the meat to be honest. My boyfriend also got the sausage and when I asked if it was good he just responded with, it’s alright. It’s a shame bc the inside is pretty chill. They had football games on all the TVs inside. And there’s a drive-thru. It just didn’t WOW me like Texas BBQ should. I’ve had better, as some would say.

Delvin’s Restaurant & Catering, LLC Menu with Prices 1300 N Hughes St, Amarillo

Hearing raven reviews about this place I decided I would give it a try for myself. I ordered the Fried Catfish & Shrimp special with a loaded potatoes and a side of macaroni. My husband ordered a stuffed potatoe with sausage. When the food was brought all looked appetizing except 1 piece of fish, which looked like it had been a left over and lukewarm compared to the other piece which was crispy, hot, and fresh out the grease. The potatoes which I thought were twice baked had this out gu of the box flavor with 3 strings of cheese I know this because they were not completely melted. The macaroni was horrible it had a weird flavor that I can not put into words. My husband’s potatoe looked really good, but the potatoe at best was lukewarm because it wouldn’t even melt the butter nor the cheese. Not sure if the cooks were having a bad day or if we had leftovers from the lunch rush, either way the food was not worth the $26.00 I spent.

Mac’s Bar-B-Q & Catering – Menu with Prices – 5412 Slide Rd #100, Lubbock

Let me first begin with the positive. The green chile mac n cheese is delicious. Green chile has become popular to add in to different foods and it doesn’t always work but this definitely does. The chopped brisket sandwich taste great as well…it is kind of fiery and I enjoyed it even without the bbq sauce. My husband enjoyed the breakfast burrito too. What can I say…the food is bomb and always fresh. Ive also tried the baked potatoe with brisket and the potatoe just melted in my mouth. Some bbq places you can tell when the meat has just been nooked by the microwave…not this place. Now for the disappointing part of this review…on 1 occassion I ordered a potato and they were out. But before knowing they no longer had any potatoes the guy charged my card. They said they refunded my account but I’m still waiting on my $8 credit. Then I took my mom because I had raved to her about the macncheese and when we got our order home they did not put the mac in our bag ugggggg so sad. But when i called they apologized and said we could pick some up along with dessert for the inconvenience. On a different occasion they forgot to put our banana pudding in the bag. My advice check and double check your order b4 leaving the drive thru window.

STONEFIRE Grill – Menu with Prices – 10680 Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga

Just left and the girls that helped me were incredibly rude. First I ordered a Caesar salad with my dinner order and they called to ask what type of protein I wanted. I didn’t order any protein on it but when I got there the girl that helped me said “ok so you didn’t indicate which protein you wanted on your salad because it says here on the receipt that you DID want extra meat on the salad so you wanted it. ” I don’t know why anyone would order a Caesar salad with “extra meat” but it said it on the receipt for some reason so I told her to put chicken on it. She responded “ok they’re going to make it right now.” Cool, whatever. The second girl brought the rest of my order up and said “oh they took the ticket attached so I can’t check it but it looks like we have…” then proceeds to look at the food in the bag and do her best guess as to what it “looks like.” Another associate comes by with the first girl and they review the receipt on the computer and come to find out that I didn’t order “extra meat” on my Caesar salad. The first girl then comes up and says “oh sorry I don’t know what happened that added the extra meat. ” so she gave me my order and before I walk away I ask for the receipt that was attached and the second girl goes “well they email you your receipt so you should have it.” The reason I asked is because nobody checked my order according to my receipt to make sure I got everything; I didn’t trust the second girl’s guessing game. I then replied “well I usually get it with my order” because I actually do and the second girl responds “well I don’t know why you would need it because they email it to you.” I told her “I wanted it to check my order since you didn’t and they usually do give it to me but whatever.” I don’t know what’s up with the attitude from the staff and the “extra meat” at this place but I really can’t stand poor customer service. Its not that hard to give someone a piece of paper that you’re likely not going to use. They’re usually pretty good at checking my order with the receipt but today they decided giving me attitude and guessing what I might’ve ordered would suffice.

Real Canadian Superstore – Menu with Prices – 825 Oxford St E, London

Extremely unhappy after recent experience when an item I was purchasing rang in at a different price than what the yellow sale label on the shelf indicated. I told the staff member at the self checkers, and to honour the scanning code of practice he said he would have to go check, which was fine with me as I knew with 100% certainty that the sticker for this item (exact product, container size) had a different price than what it rang in as, thatâ??s the whole reason I was getting the item, as it was marked on sale, I clearly checked before taking the item to purchase. He returned and informed me it wasnâ??t the price I said it was but he would honour the lower price. So I asked to show him where I got the item and the clearly labeled sale tags for this product. Low and behold, we go to the section and I see he has removed not only the sale tag that had been labeled on the shelf for this product, but also the tag of the other size container next to it, also a sale price. Literally just taken the price tags off the shelf of two products so now they had no prices labeled. Unbelievable. You think Iâ??m stupid? That I donâ??t know what you did? There were sale stickers on the items, thatâ??s why i picked them, donâ??t try to make me look like a fool by saying it wasnâ??t marked on sale and then removing the tags of every other product too to try to get away with lying. Absolutely despicable behaviour.

TUK TUK Burger – Menu with Prices – 101 SE 3rd Ave, Fort Lauderdale

I could not believe how amazing that curry taco was. Honestly, I wasn’t ready. I figured it would taste a certain way but the final product blew my mind. The taco shell wasn’t soft or crunchy, it almost resembled two thin layers of croissant but not to be confused with a crepe. The filling was hearty, juicy, perfectly seasoned and delicious on so many different levels. Every item looked interesting and although unconventional, it came together so perfectly that it will be hard to find a better food truck for a long time. I live about an hour away from this area but I definitely plan on returning to try the emerald burger. We ordered the parm fries and they were nice and crunchy while loaded with the perfect amount of seasonings and cheese. They float around the Ft. Lauderdale area and most of the time are either at Invasive Brewing or the church. This is by far the best food truck I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating from. Wish I would’ve grabbed the Thai beef jerky on my way out but now I have a reason to come back for more.

Señor Tequila’s – Menu with Prices – 9959 Main St, Fairfax

I came here with my boyfriend and his sister. They absolutely loved their meals. He ordered a fajita burrito and she ordered the Cabo salad. The chicken was cooked perfectly and had great taste. I had the “create your own” and just don’t waste your time on it. Seems like they take the crappy already made ones for other orders and stick it on the plate. Beans are good though. The reason for the two stars: We had a coupon for a free appetizer. Told the sever BEFORE we ordered we had it and she said that’s fine and give it to her when we ask for the check. We went to pay and the sever said that she didn’t know how to process it so the manager got involved. The manger said that the coupon was already used and that we couldn’t apply it to our check. Mind you it was an $8 bowl of guacamole, which is normal price for fairfax. After my boyfriend explained we’ve never been here before and also the only reason we decided to try the restaurant was because we had the coupon and it would’ve been a great opportunity to try a new place in town. He (manager) with an obnoxious tone told him (my boyfriend) was wrong that he cannot use the coupon because it’s been used and they will not take it off the check. So again, my boyfriend said that it was the first time it was being used that the coupon states “click on the coupon to use and present to server.” So the manger realized that… after 2 minutes of back and fourth the manager had the audacity to say “that was for US to click not you, I’ll go take it off the check.” For a $60 meal for three plates, you’d think they’d be nicer to get tipped well… right? Customer is not “always right” however as someone who has worked in the restaurant/customer service industry you should never give a customer attitude. Won’t be back, Chewys is worth the extra 10 minute drive.

Tiger Bakery & Deli – Menu with Prices – 4215 Monroe St, Toledo

The name belies what lies inside. You enter from the rear, and inside, you’ll find a deli-style potpourri of amazing food that is to die for. Everything is on display in cases, and you pick and choose your food. The Fatayer pies are awesome – especially the meat pies. The spanakopita is perfection. You absolutely can’t go wrong with the gyro or the kafta. The lamb and chicken shawarma are on skewers and a bargain. There are all kinds of wonderful salads and dips. The original hommus is smooth and tasty. He salads are sold by the pound, and the fatoosh, feta pasta, and olive pasta are all worth a try. You can’t pass up the grape leaves – both veggie or meat. For lunch there are two specials: one sandwich and two sides or any four sides for $7.95. What a deal. And of course, there is homemade baklava for the finishing touch. Check this place out. It’s a little hard to find, but oh so worth it.

Gen Korean BBQ House – Menu with Prices – 11837 Foothill Blvd a, Rancho Cucamonga

I’m not sure what happened to this place but when it first opened up, everything was amazing. Now, not so great. I use to always recommend this place but the past two times that we’ve gone, we’ve been extremely disappointed. It could have been that it’s just the morning team (we usually go at night) that isn’t attentive. When we got there, we waited about 5-10mins for the hostess to even come to the counter and then she told us it would take another 5mins to be seated. After being seated, we had to request for the sides and salad (is this a new thing? They don’t just put them out anymore?). The waiter came and took our order. We only received probably 2 of the 5 things we ordered and waited a very long time before he came back and asked if we would like to order more. Mind you he only had two tables to serve. I asked him where the rest of the meat we ordered was and he just said “oh they didn’t bring it to you?” “No” “oh” – Thank you for no solution. The food quality here has gone down a lot. I remember when they first opened, everything tasted very well and now even down to the salad isn’t so great. We put in another order and this time around, not only did he forget some of the orders again, he also brought us the wrong meat. By now I was pretty upset, we sat there looking at each-other 90% of the time because there was no one to check on us and no meat to cook. I noticed he wasn’t writing any of our orders down and he seemed really distracted while taking our orders. What happened to the iPads they use to take orders on? That might have helped him. Ridiculous. Thank you to Anthony for the worst service I’ve ever experienced. We will not be coming back anytime soon.

Sparrow Meat Market Menu with Prices 407 N 5th Ave, Ann Arbor

I’ve always loved sparrow for high quality meat despite slightly higher prices, but they just recently they did me wrong. I’ve bought skin on pork belly for a long time from Sparrow, i believe it usually arrives on Monday and they sell it for 1.99 a pound. I showed up today to get some and it was 3.99. After asking a worker why they marked it up he told me it was always that price… which I know isn’t true. However, I care more about quality than price (why I’m shopping at sparrow in the first place) so i went on to buy my skin on pork belly as I planned. When I got home, I found out the butcher had just cut off the very top lean layer of the belly with the skin, and left the rest of it to be sold as pork belly w/o skin. Let me rephrase that, my pork belly I purchased had no fat, none, it looked like a tenderloin. I am confused what I should do with this very lean belly. This is not the way that sparrow used to serve their skin on pork belly. I bought a two pound section 10 days ago and it was a nice fatty pork belly with the skin on; it was also $2 a pound, but that’s not the point. Long story short I am very disappointed in the product I purchased from Sparrow today.
