Visiting from out of state, and was looking for a place to have a nice glass of wine and I found this wonderful place. Walked into the restaurant and was immediately greeted by wonderful and welcoming staff. I sat outside and Erin my server came and greeted me with a warm smile. I ordered a Red Blend and she described the taste to a tee. I ordered their Antipasti plate and it did not disappoint. For dessert I ordered their Chocolate Soufflé and it was to die for. Even though they closed at 9:00, they welcomed late customers with a smile and never let them feel rushed. Overall, this will be my place to come to when visiting Bend. Fantastic Service, Food and Wine. Thank you Erin for making my first time at Portello an amazing one.

Local Waterin Hole – Menu with Prices – 5829 Guess Rd, Durham

Came late with some friends for the first time and you would have thought it was closed or in the wrong place. Not at all I was welcomed immediately to a bomb fire in the back! Then I realized that they were the same lovely ladies I had met at Pride the weekend before. Erin is awesome and so is her partner Selena. We quickly all became fast friends! Even talking about setting up a charity for my boss who is in the hospital right now! Love! I strongly suggest it. Awesome spot. No liquor, but wicked cheap beer.

Armada Wine & Beer Merchant – Menu with Prices – 1129A State St, Santa Barbara

Stumbled upon this wine bar on my bday looking for a drink and something small to eat before dinner. I was greeted by one of the owners w/ a warm smile that welcomed me and my husband to the bar and made us feel like old time friends. I had a great roseâ?? and my husband had a red. Their prices are extremely reasonable considering the Santa Barbara area. They definitely have a focus on 8-12$ wine by the glass w/ happy hour offering wine at 6.50 a glass! Itâ??s always nice to save some money on wine however these gals that own the place make you feel like a friend not just a customer. Itâ??s obvious they are loved by many. Most of the bar is surrounded by locals who patron them daily (I know this b/c Iâ??ve been here multiple times in two week #mudslide) Thatâ??s what makes it a very cool wine bar… kinda like cheers but most patrons younger than 50. If you are visiting SB this is a must stop for wine! Iâ??ll be back for sure! Thanks for the hospitality Jamie & Tucker you guys a awesome!

Erin Baker’s Wholesome Baked Goods Menu with Prices 427 Ohio St, Bellingham

I recently had a chance to visit Erin Baker’s retail shop on Ohio St. and I was SHOCKED I had never been here before! This place is simply adorable, decorated in a classic kitchen style with cabinets full of Erin Baker’s cookies, granola, and all sorts of yummy goodness. One of the coolest things about this place is they have Erin Baker’s granola in BULK! So if you just need a little bit (or a lot) you have options galore. They also sell specialty baking ingredients and the prices are really good. I walked out of here feeling like I’d been let in on a Bellingham secret! If you love Erin Baker’s products, or you’re a baker yourself, definitely check this place out.

Flavianoâ??s Mexican Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 114 N Elm St, Greensboro

Just a great place. My husband and I eat here 1-2 times a week and we love it! You are welcomed with a smile from Maria which will turn any bad day back right. She remembered my husband and I after one visit and calls me by name now. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and clean. I must say whatever station they have on has an great selection of songs that will please most who may be waiting or having their meal there. The food is cooked fresh and is delicious and filling. I must also mention that the food very reasonably priced. Our favorite is their Chimichanga that is drizzled with the most delicious queso dip with sides of beans, rice, salsa and chips and a drink. The waitress there (I will ask her name on my next visit) she is friendly and has a warm smile as well. The wait for your food is not long at all. They do have the option of calling ahead if you need to grab and go. I have not once been late from lunch when visiting here. I love that they have daily specials so best believe we are there on Thursdays for the Chimmie’s. Maria comes out takes up her customers trays and ask how the meal is and if she can help you with anything else. Great woman =). Shout out the chef you are awesome and know how burn in that kitchen. See you all soon!

El Viejito Mexican Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 4722 S Broadway, Wichita

Yes! Yes! Yes! I pulled this place up and saw that they had full five stars on Yelp, I see why! We came in late on a Friday and their Night Rush was over – not another table in sight! Usually I would expect mediocre service that is rushed in efforts for us to rush and get out of there, but I was surprised and greeted with quite the contrary. We were welcomed with bright warming smiles and an amazing greeting instantly making our long night worth it. Just judging by the chips and salsa I knew the food was going to be fire! We were given an original salsa and also a green creamy avocado salsa, both were meal worthy themselves. As for the meals, I ordered the cheese enchiladas with tomatillo sauce and my husband order cheese enchiladas with cheese sauce. They both came out exactly to order, everything was great! No rush, no wait, everything we needed for us to be on vacation looking for a restaurant open with a small toddler. Definitely will be coming back anytime I’m in Wichita!!!

Jimmy John’s – Menu with Prices – 720 S 3rd St, Minneapolis

Awesome staff! Freak fast service! A much needed addition to the downtown area, as they are the only store open until 11pm. This store is very new, but they all seem to have a great handle on how a JJ’s is supposed to run. I walked in at 11:03pm before my overnight shift hoping I could catch them before they closed. The manager welcomed me with a smile and informed me they always stay open 10 minutes past the closing time just in case someone is running a little late. How cool is that?! Definitely recommend this location!

River Park Shopping Center – Menu with Prices – 71 E Via la Plata, Fresno

Food was good, although the service was horrible. Walked in at 8:50 PM August 31 2019 order number 34 and was greeted by 3 girls with a look of disgust and inconvenience. (Find another job if working Saturday nights is so painful.) I placed my order to dine in and sat down. As I sat and waited I could see the only priority for those 3 was to close up and leave. I watched them give the same look at 3 other customers. Flipped the sign closed at 858 and laughed after they told the last customer they were closed. At 910 my food was rushed to me in a to go bag. When I told her I ordered for her she sighed like it was such a big deal. I then said it’s fine I’ll eat in the to go containers. After opening the container I was missing sauces and 2 pieces of chicken. Each time they made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed. Finally I ask for a manner and a young man comes out. I asked who the GM is and he told me Damien. If so I look forward to talking to you Damien.

Cellar + Plate a communal wine house – Menu with Prices – 2916 S Lone Pine Ave, Springfield

Traditional tapas bars keep late hours. But this is the northern foothills of the Ozarks. Springfield, MO. Not traditional. There are 15 customers and the bar is mostly full. These are good signs! One hour until closing. Saturday night. Should still be in the AOK Zone, no? Sadly, no. Barkeep welcomes us, hands us menus (first mistake.) Peruse wine list…check!  Place wine order…check! Scrutinize tapas menu…check! Barkeep returns saying “Sorry, but we’re out of that wine.” The wine list is short, so fall back to alternate selection…check. Barkeep notices us discussing tapas options…”Oh, the kitchen is closed.” Second mistake. I should’ve faked being hit by the pitch and taken a walk, but the coach already had her wine. The base coach’s signal to the next batter is: “Take the walk back to your car.” Why hand customers menus if you know your kitchen is closed? The answer is: never. Kitchen closure requires 1) menus be put away and 2) customers be immediately informed prior to placing any order. But, on Saturday night? A full hour before closing? Really? Would’ve liked to try the food. Cheese was at the bar, so a small order was possible. The wine list was small, so you hope they’ve narrowed selection to some interesting, if not fun, choices. It’s another pitch low and outside. Our pours weren’t bad, but neither my glass nor my date’s flight was worth the effort of staying. Your mileage will likely vary depending upon how much go juice the staff choose to put into their tanks. For my visit, they were few in number and apparently running on empty. Been there, but you make sales by stepping up. And with a closed kitchen, well…there was no plate to step up to (it was somewhere in the cellar.)

South Philly Cheesesteaks – Menu with Prices – 5942 34th St W #115, Bradenton

What a great experience! We ordered lunch for about 20 people at my employer about 10:30am. Erin took the order and we picked it up right at noon. The order was 100% correct with everyone’s names on their sandwiches for ease of distribution. The whole team at South Philly pulled it out for a last minute somewhat difficult large order. Thank you to Erin and the crew for providing Sunset Cadillac Collision Center with a great experience to set the weekend off right! My crew thanks you all….will return again!

Espresso Road – Menu with Prices – 3912 Commercial St SE, Salem

I have been to this place many times, every time I visit I receive 5 star treatment! I love their Americano with a little heavy cream and sugar free coconut…sooo good and minimal carbs haha. I I went there recently and was craving their breakfast sandwich but I missed the cut off time by 8 min, I said no prob I’ll just order the drink. Erin who was the girl helping me said she would make me one anyway, she went above and beyond with her customer service and made my morning. The alternative was a sandwich from Starbucks next door which aren’t nearly as good. Who ever does the hiring at this place knows what they are doing. The staff is Amazing, along with the drinks/food and service! Thanks again Erin for making this chunky boy in the black jeeps morning! This place is an easy 5 stars!

Meat Masters, Inc. – Menu with Prices – 2020 S Fry Rd g, Katy

I have been here several times and enjoy their meat. The last time I went and will go again, was today. I walked in and they were having a very friendly conversation with a couple of regulars which is fine. I was greeted with a not so warm what can I get you. Another regular walked in and everyone in the back greeted them like family. It seems I was rushed out of the door, I had handed the butcher some frozen sausage to be included in my order which I never received. I felt like I was rushed out of the door. It felt like I was putting them out. I won’t do that to them again. Problem solved. No steak for you!!!

The Triple Knock – Menu with Prices – 2713 6th Ave, Tacoma

One star might suffice since it was fun playing pinball and the selection was okay but the service by Erin was absolutely terrible. After my SECOND beer of the night, my friends and I were denied service across the street with almost no intoxication and it was due to her call to them. At the time of service, Erin mixed the name “Daron/Darren” up and didn’t ask the last name on the tab therefor charging us for the wrong tab (The correct Daron paid after we received our drink.) We wanted to fix the situation and compensate the correct tab but she refunded the first and accused us of stealing as we walked out after being asked to leave. She then called the other bars in the area and accused us of being too drunk for service. Again, we had only one beer prior and were fully cognizant of the situation at hand. Erin’s poor service and handling of the situation will prevent us from coming back to this bar or recommending it to other friends and family. We understand having to be firm with drunk idiots that cause problems in the bar but to accuse us of various acts as well as call other bars to refuse us service after we called her out on HER mistake is absolutely ridiculous. If you do go to this bar, check to see if the “manager” Erin is working before you order your drinks. You would be better off going to Crown Bar next door or even Half Pint, even though we were denied service, if you want to play pinball.
