2:00 is not a good time to order anything, person behind the counter of planet smoothie and the person at auntie Anne’s were both too busy to recognize me and my wife. After about 5 minutes of waiting at the register I asked if i was able to order anything, auntie Anne’s lady ignored us and the woman at planet smoothie mumbled something inaudibly about a smoothie she was making. It shouldn’t be this hard to order a pretzel that’s already been cooked ð???

Auntie Anne’s – Menu with Prices – Macy’s Wing, 9677 Destiny USA Dr 2nd Flr, Syracuse

I usually enjoy going to Auntie Anne’s at multiple malls around my hometown. I’m a Buffalo boy, so I don’t usually find myself in the Syracuse area. This was my first time at this location. The first thing that I noticed in the famous “glass case” of foods was a jalapeno pretzel hot dog. I love their jalapeno pretzels. I love their pretzel dogs. But I’ve never seen a jalapeno pretzel dog sold at an Auntie Anne’s before! Mmm! It looked good! Unfortunately, I had just eaten a delicious smoothie from Cold Stone, and was too stuffed to eat the pretzel dog. Plus, I was on a budget. I didn’t want to spend $5 on one of the jalapeno pretzel dogs. Since I had never seen the item before at any Auntie Anne’s, I went up to the counter to have a quick, friendly discussion with a pretzel baker about the jalapeno pretzel dogs. I wanted to know if they were made all the time at this location, if they made them at any other Auntie Anne’s, etc. I went up to the counter, and an energetic, dancing-to-the-beat-of-the-music employee, named Matthew, met my eyes. I told him that the jalapeno pretzel dogs looked delicious, and that I had never seen them before at an Auntie Anne’s. Before I could say more, he quickly asked me, “Do you want one?” I told him that I didn’t think so, this time. I just went to Cold Stone next door for a smoothie and that I was full. I couldn’t eat any more. Matthew grabbed the food tweezers. He opened up the door to the glass case and reached for a jalapeno pretzel dog with his tweezers, with quick speed. Almost as if he was ignoring my reasoning for not wanting the dog. He asked me again, quickly, “Do you want it or not?” It was said in a tone where, if I had to pay for the item, then he would have been a rude mannered, snot nosed brat. However, up to that point, we had made pleasant conversation, and Matthew successfully convinced me that, maybe, he wanted to sneak a jalapeno pretzel dog to me for absolutely free, just because I was nice. Similar events have happened to me at other restaurants, and stores. You get more when you’re nice. Now, I dont usually EXPECT free food from any given restaurant, but I thought, wow! A free pretzel dog from Auntie Anne’s! What a deal! Even though I was stuffed full, I really wanted to taste that jalapeno pretzel dog. I said, “Yeah, sure!” He took the pretzel dog out of the glass case and put it in a bag for me. He brought the bagged pretzel dog over to the counter, and asked me, “Will that be all?” He started to type something on the computer. He wouldn’t. After that impolite, upselling attitude, he wouldn’t. I gave him a dirty look, and said, “Yep. That’s it.” He continued typing on the computer at a quick pace. Still jamming to the music. He might have been on drugs but I couldn’t tell. He brought up the full price of the pretzel dog on the computer. He told me, quickly, “$4.31.” That sneak! Trying to get me to spend money on the pretzel dog when he KNEW that he suckered me in to saying “yes”, hook, line, and sinker! I waved goodbye to him. I knew better than that. I told him as I walked away, “Worded impromperly. Tricky, tricky, guys!” I was infuriated. Never had I been treated that way at an Auntie Anne’s before. I will stick to the Auntie Anne’s locations that are closer to home in Buffalo. I am never going back to this one. The Cold Stone employees were much friendlier to deal with, didnt try to weasel me in to any purchases, gave out free ice cream samples to me when I requested them, and the drink that I purchased at Cold Stone was very tasty, even if you can’t compare pretzels to ice cream. Unbelievable.

Planet Smoothie – Menu with Prices – 2270 Town Center Ave, Melbourne

I recently went to Planet Smoothie for a smoothie. Let me preface this review by saying that I am a smoothie aficionado. My primary breakfast every morning is a smoothie & customize my smoothies daily using a different variety of fruit along w/ additions such as turmeric, ginger root, etc. First & foremost the service at Planet Smoothie was solid. I opted for the Acai Original made w/ açaí, apple, strawberries, & bananas. I got the small 22 ounce size. I got the following add-ins for smoothie: Whole Grain Oats, Peanut Butter, & Leafy Greens I felt the add-ins would give the smoothie more sustenance along w/ some nutrients from the greens. The smoothie was A-OK yet three stars are given instead of four for several reasons. I felt the smoothie was costly for what you get. The add-ins were $1 each & the quantity of the add-ins isn’t even that great. Oats are one of the most affordable foods on the market & a small scoop of oats shouldn’t cost $1. I felt .50 cents per add-in would be more reasonable. The biggest annoyance of my smoothie was they are made w/ ice. I requested no ice & the person making my smoothie said that wasn’t possible. She made it w/ less ice even so felt the ice added a lot of filler. For the cost of the smoothie which was in fact costly felt they should be more substantial using more fruit, less ice, & less costly add-ins. If these improvements were made can see bumping my review up to four stars yet not sure if these suggestions would be implemented. On a plus side appreciate being able to customize your smoothie & it is helpful to list the calories for the smoothies along w/ the calories for each additional potential add-in for which there is a lot. Smoothies are in fact a great way to eat more fruit & can be healthy. I think Planet Smoothie would still be a better option than say Cold Stone Creamery next door. Eat more fruit!

Auntie Anne’s Pretzels – Menu with Prices – 2448 Chesapeake Square Ring Rd, Chesapeake

Stopped by because Iâ??m pregnant and been craving auntie Anneâ??s for two weeks but donâ??t have one by my house. Got an awesome deal on my favorite garlic pretzel! The pretzels were fresh and amazing! The staff is excellent! Very clean establishment. Been very emotional due to the pregnancy and the kind gentlemen who I believe owns the establishment was nothing shy of perfect. Sometimes kind words go a very long way. Thank you so much! Best auntie Anneâ??s experience! I will make sure to come to this one from now on!

Planet Smoothie – Menu with Prices – 1414 Jenkins Rd, Chattanooga

Colorful, clean and cool! Planet Smoothie’s only location in all of the great state of Tennessee packs quite a punch! There are over two dozen kinds of smoothies to choose from in addition to “add-ons” and energy bars. The array of ingredients range from fun to fuel and all are fresh and energizing. This is a great space with tables for two or four with enough room for those who need to stretch out with a laptop and textbooks. The wifi is so fast and reliable I am using it right now to tap out this quick recommendation. Tennessee’s only Planet Smoothie is located on the intersection of Jenkins Road East Brainerd in Chattanooga near Jack Benson Park. You will find it in the strip mall between Mojo Burrito and Brewster’s Ice Cream. Stop in and smoothie up!

Auntie Anne’s – Menu with Prices – 14523 Carowinds Blvd, Charlotte

I Love Auntie Anne’s- but not this one! We tried to order the pretzel dogs, but we’re told they didn’t have any, so we ordered 3 regular pretzels. Had to send them back for salt (that’s a first) and after taking one bite could NOT believe this hard & chewy piece of bread that had been microwaved several times cost me $6. Went back & asked for a fresh one and was told it would take 20 minutes. As I’m discussing this, one of the other workers opens the oven and lo and behold- pretzel dogs! However we were told they would not be ready for a half an hour. I bake ALL the time. They needed 10 minutes tops. I had to sk for my receipt the first time and it’s a good thing, because without it I would have not been able to get my money back. Don’t waste your money here until these women get it together.

Auntie Anneâ??s – Menu with Prices – 2000 E Rio Salado Pkwy, Tempe

Review at Tempe Marketplace Auntie Anne’s: My mini pretzel hotdogs were good but the customer service was bad and the guy working there really didn’t act like he was enjoying his job of serving me today. When I asked him “If we could take the receipt” he kind of gave me a weird look like “yeah, whatever, go ahead and take it if you need it”. He did not act happy to be there.

Smoothie King – Menu with Prices – 2860 E Harmony Rd Suite 120, Fort Collins

I would really like to like Smoothie King more. My first experience with them went . . . smoothly. In and out within 10 minutes, and they were decent smoothies. However, when I was there on 12/16, I ordered 2 smoothies, and sat down to wait. After waiting 15 minutes and my order wasn’t even STARTED, I went next door and got my burger order in. After waiting 15 minutes more, I went and picked up my burgers, put them in the truck and went back to waiting. Back to Smoothie King. After a total of 39 minutes, I received the first of my 2 smoothies, and after another 5 or so I got the second. An apology was given, but there was no explanation for the excessive wait, nor any effort to comp or half off next time. It’s convenient to my house, but at this point I’d rather drive an extra 5 minutes and be assured of getting the smoothie and getting started on it. Good luck Smoothie King – hope you get your act together.

Subway Restaurants – Menu with Prices – Miracle Mile Shops, 3663 S Las Vegas Blvd Suite #420, Las Vegas

This is one is located in the Miracle Mile mall that is connected to Planet Hollywood and Elara resort. I love Chipotle but what’s unfortunate for this location is the workers. I guess the saying is true, it’s hard to find good workers. First off there was only one person in the front. I thought poor thing, she had to do it all by herself and then another worker came from the back to help her. But that was short lived as when she was asking what I would want I told her my order which consisted of three chicken bowls and when it ended was when I asked for grilled vegetables and unfortunately for me they only had enough for one which the guy behind me got. I asked how long it would take to which she turned around and glared at me and said 5 minutes. When I said that I would wait she turned around and went to the back again where she came from without saying one word to me or to the girl that was there. A cashier finally appeared which took the guys order that was behind me and the original girl just looked at my three bowls just sitting there, looked at me and I said that I was waiting for the grilled veggies and then without saying a word to me she mumbled something under her breath and went to help the next customer. WTH?!?!? I think either companies need to have better training to train their employees or people in general need to step up their game as it isn’t acceptable and is a bad reflection of a company. No one wants to pay for bad service as it’s one reason we eat out. Hopefully these workers will get the training they desperately need.

Walmart Bakery – Menu with Prices – 2200 Sparkman Dr NW, Huntsville

On Sunday August 25th at approximately noon. While waiting for someone to serve me in the automotive dept. two men passed by me and never looked at me or acknowledged me. I was patiently waiting for a young lady to serve another woman who was complaining of her service this day. She was polite but had a valid complaint. The woman talking to the customer was a manager and was being very nice while helping her take care of her needs. I am a white female who was standing at the

Taqueria Mexico – Menu with Prices – 13229 Harbor Blvd, Garden Grove

I am solely basing this review on the individual who we encountered this evening who made our order incorrectly and refused to remake the order even after we told her we were allergic to beans. I had my daughter order 3 tacos and 3 burritos. Usually, the individual who is making our order will ask what we want on the item they are making at that very moment. As the woman was making the tacos, she asked my daughter if she wanted “everything” on the tacos to which my daughter said yes to. She makes the tacos but then proceeded to make the burritos with beans and hot salsa, which we did not want for all 3 burritos. When my daughter tells her that we didn’t want neither beans or hot salsa and that she didn’t even ask what we wanted them on the burritos, she argues and tells my daughter “sorry, you were standing right there for all this time and didn’t say anything and I can’t remake them”. UNBELIEVABLE. My daughter argues that she said yes to everything as she was making the tacos and didn’t ask before she made the burritos, which is typical practice at every single Mexican eatery and usually, the person making your order double-checks what you want item-by-item. The woman continued to flat-out refuse to redo our order (I’m sure it would come out of her paycheck if she had to) because I don’t see a reason other than that why she wouldn’t remake them, especially when we had $23 worth of wasted food that we had to toss in the trash because of food allergies and because this woman was absolutely rude and dismissive. I called this place to express our dissatisfaction to this woman that we encountered and she was not happy. I knew I wasn’t going to get anywhere with her so I asked to speak to the manager/owner and she starts raising her voice and yells repeatedly, “SORRY, LADY, SORRY, NO, NO, NO!”. She continues to say random things in Spanish because she’s upset and of course, because she knows I can’t understand her and so I tell her I don’t understand what she’s saying, so she proceeds to yell even louder and then hangs up on me. I tried to call back and it goes to voicemail and I leave a message that will surely be erased and/or not returned but that speaks volumes about the business if that’s the case. That woman does not need to be working in customer service. People are not easy to deal with and I understand that but refusing to redo our order when we are allergic to the ingredients that we didn’t ask for and not have any consideration for our time and money is upsetting. The unfortunate thing is, this has been our main go-to Mexican food joint for the past year since we moved to this city and every time we have picked up food from here, everyone is pleasant and we’ve had a positive experience each time until now. Lady, get a new job but maybe this is what your limited to and that’s why you’re such a miserable person. Maybe stick to something easier for you, like at a ticket counter or something where you don’t have to interact much with humans and you can be as robotic as you like, but I’m sure you would agree that up too somehow. You make this place look TERRIBLE. Such a shame.

Berk & Chesters – Menu with Prices – 5800 Fleur Dr, Des Moines

Airport food. Need I say much more? One person tending bar AND waiting on customers. Took a while to get our order in, as he was way overworked! Iced tea tasted like double strength powdered Lipton instant, not brewed. Yuck. Then when the order finally came, it was awful. Tenderloin was unevenly cooked and had big chunks of fat. Hamburger was over cooked, even to someone who likes them well-done. The two orders that requested cottage cheese were given Cole slaw, fries were over cooked, and the person requesting chicken was given a burger. That order had to be sent back, and the third person ate cottage cheese (switched with the coke slaw they didn’t request) while waiting for the chicken to be cooked. High prices for less than mediocre food, drink and service. The waiter was very apologetic, but that does not make up for the food quality and slow service, or the high prices.
