This place is awesome. It sits in the campus area of Univ. of Evansville. The prices are incredibly fair. Cash or check only, but there is an ATM.You can get traditional pizza toppings, but I love the speciality slices. I’ve had the Greek gyro slice, potato/cheese slice topped with Greek sauce, the loaded, and the ham sandwich slice. It’s worth the time to find this small place. It’s a gem.

Yannis Gyros – Menu with Prices – 1814 Adlai Stevenson Dr, Springfield

This is a review for the gyro shoe, which for an outsider is a fascinating piece of Springfield culture. For those new in town: a “horseshoe” is an open-faced sandwich that traditionally consists of a slice of bread, a hamburger patty, and cheese sauce topped with fries, credited with being invented in Springfield in 1928. The gyro shoe served here is a fusion take on that: and consists of a pita, veggies, gyro meat, cheese, and fries topped with tzatziki cause. For gyro (and horseshoe) purists, it’s practically sacrilege. But for those willing to overlook tradition, these elements come together in a surprisingly tasty concoction. My only issue was that the cheese sauce added way too much salt to an already salty dish, and could’ve been “interpreted” as the tzatziki (which, in contrast, added a nice acidity to the dish without oversalting it). The serving size is large, and there are enough fries on it that it doesn’t warrant a separate order of them. I did want to try the Greek fries so I ended up adding it on. They were really well-seasoned and delicious but definitely did not complement the shoe dish well and would be better served accompanying the regular gyros.

The Simple Greek – Menu with Prices – 100 N Florida St Suite F-2, Mobile

I had the pleasure of visiting the Simple Greek for the first time with a group of Yelpers, and I can assure you, it is well worth the trip! Angela, the owner, and her mom Diane, will make you feel right at home. The staff is smiling and friendly, as well as knowledgeable about their cuisine. Try the Greek fries, which come topped with melted feta (even if you don’t like feta cheese, this is delicious!) Also, try the Avgolemono soup, which is a delicious blend of chicken, rice and lemon. (Hint- if you get sick and your friends ask if they can bring you anything, request this soup!) The Spanakopita is a savory delight of spinach and feta baked into a light and flaky crust. The Simple Greek is kind of cafeteria style, where you approach the counter, request your desired base (pita or bowl), request your protein (traditional gyro, chicken gyro, grilled steak or grilled chicken), choose your toppings (they all look fresh and delicious so you can’t go wrong), choose your sauce, then top with Greek finishes. I enjoyed the pita topped with grilled chicken, creamy garlic sauce, and the village salad, along with other fresh toppings. Be sure to finish your meal with the baklava, or the cheesecake baklava. Either way, you can’t go wrong.

Tony Boloney’s Jersey City – Menu with Prices – 363 Grove St, Jersey City

So tony boloney is definitely a foodie approved spot to go to! I’ve been to every location and they never disappoint, they have endless possibilities and their infamous taco pizza is to die for. It has been the best thing I’ve tried there and I wish they sold just tacos by itself because they were SO GOOD. Cons; The one thing I wouldn’t ever go back and order are the specialty fries, it becomes too much and I wasn’t a fan of the sauce I had fries with Bolognese sauce one time from there and it was bland to me. Pros: the locations they are in for the most part there’s parking and they aren’t always super packed when I have went. The staff is always friendly and there’s always a variety of slice out on display to choose from. My friends love the shit faced slice, I’ve tried several of them and they’re all pretty good. The taco slice deserves a whole review on its own but I would just need you guys to try it to know. It sounds weird but it’s three tacos on one slice with guac right under them and then a whole plain slice right under that, it’s filling and really good so it’s worth every dollar which is at a whopping $12 dollar a slice but break it down and think about it. Speciality slices vary from 3-4 dollars which is average. It’s a great place, lots of options, lots of flavors and good locations!

Load a Spud Potato Bar – Menu with Prices – 1721 Madison Ave SE, Grand Rapids

This is a true gem amongst the Grand Rapids takeout cast. Who doesn’t love a fully loaded potato?!?! The menu is crafted with classic dishes a la baked potato. Think Mexican, Chicken and Shrimp Alfredo’s, BBQ, Gyro, Broccoli and Cheese… easily a dozen suggestions for a phenomenal, filling meal! Honestly my husband and I struggled to finish off 1 (very loadedð???) potato. And easy on the pockets too. Don’t sleep on their loaded cookies either! The owners are polite, down, to earth, and absolutely committed to serving you a great experience. Parking is curbside but certainly not metered. And they also deliver on GrubHub ð???

Papa Gyros Menu with Prices 6409, 1 N Hawkins Ave, Akron

Got a takeout order last night, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. The side of Greek roasted potatoes, which came with 4 large wedge pieces, kind of reminded me of a jo-jo but wasn’t fried. It had good flavor. I wouldn’t necessarily need to get them again but it was a good side. The side of rice was really tasty. My wife really enjoyed it. The hummus was good, and the pitas that came with it were warm fluffy slices of heaven. So tasty. The Cajun gyro was insane. Absolutely loaded to the brim with meat. And that Cajun gyro meat had a really good kick to it. I felt it in my lips when I was done, but nothing over the top. I’d get this gyro every time I ever came back here. My wife got the Philly and loved it. I don’t think it stacked up to the Cajun, but it was darned good.

Greek Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 11811 College Blvd, Overland Park

I was disappointed in my whole restaurant experience. Bummer too, been looking for a good, mouthwatering just thinking about it, Greek foodie for my go to. I ordered the Gyro sandwich lunch special…gyro, fries and drink. The price was reasonable, but not compared to the quality, and quantity of the food received, it wasn’t worth it. The pita was cold, and hard in places (not fresh). It was wrapped, not folded over, too. It consisted of the meat, sliced onions, and few pieces sliced tomatoes. They gave you the sauce on the side. The flavor was bland, …I thought to myself, I could have made this at home, using store bought greek packaged food. The food came out to you hot. The place was small, and tables were kinda too close together. Not much on the Greek style within. It was clean. The womens restroom was clean, too. The service was good, and friendly enough. Sorry to say, I will pass next time. Happy eating!

Souvlaki Boys – Menu with Prices – 1 W James St, Lancaster

We ordered take out from here during our visit to Amish country!! I read the reviews on trip advisor prior to ordering & went with the Greek salad (added gyro meat to it & veggies). The salad was delicious!!! The rest of my family each had a platter (namely: gyro, chicken souvlaki & pork souvlaki): gyro was the winner and everyone raved about the side Greek salad!! My 3 year old loved the grilled cheese pita, it was not too salty and a good combo with the pita & melted cheese! The food was ready on time (within 25 min from ordering online) and my significant other claimed this was some of the best Greek food sheâ??s ever had!! We would likely be regular customers if we lived in the area, but meanwhile will make sure to stop by each time we visit!

Verrazzanos New York Pizza – Menu with Prices – 1801 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater

Tried this place for the 1st time and I was kinda worried it was noon time and there was nobody inside eating on a sunday ? But I just open my business near by and was looking for place to try . I walk in and there’s no menu on walls few tables and a counter to order from . I was Handed a paper menu looked it over and ordered a sausage Parm sandwich . I ask if they sold pizza slices ? She said yes so I tried a slice and a soda . I notice there special 2 cheese slices and a soda $4.99 . Thinking to my self this pizza can’t be to good . Lady behind counter brought my my 1 slice hot cheese it was huge and I ask her you get this huge slices of pizza on the special 2 slices and soda $4.99 she said yes .So I took bite of the slice and I couldn’t believe how good it was !!! And then the sausage parm Sandwhich was brought to me and this thing looked unbelievable hot melting mozzarella cheese sauce and stuffed and I mean stuffed with Italian sausages it tasted so good and I’m going back and forth bite of pizza and a bite of the sandwich I was in heaven. Since moving to Saint Petersburg coming from Boston 4 yrs Ago food quality hasn’t been easy to find . But this place is great and I mean great !!!! And prices are very good and the portions well (forget about it ) you won’t be sorry or leave hungry. I see they specialize in a HUGE 24″ inch pizza . This place gets all the stars 5 and more this will be my new lunch spot in Clearwater thanks for the great food you served me and you’ll see you again and again .

Mamma Lucia – Menu with Prices – 9650 Main St, Fairfax

Atmospherically, it’s just a walk-up counter with plenty of adjacent seating. Nothing fancy – certainly not if you’re searching for a nice sit down meal – but convenient if you’re leaving the movies or if you just want a quick bite. I’ve eaten here three times, and each time my experience was more or less the same. The pizza is NY style ($2.80 / slice) in the sense that it’s super thin, but that’s about it. A good slice should have a little bit of flop, but remain firm enough that you don’t need two hands to eat it. You shouldn’t have to hold the slice high above your mouth and attack it like a retarded pizza shark, but alas, at Mamma Lucia’s you will. The sauce is incredibly bland, and the cheese is far from the higher-quality mozzarella’s you might find elsewhere. There’s no major flaws with this pizza, but it’s probably a little less than an average slice on its best day. (Note – if you opt for slices, stick to cheese! Requests for pepperoni or other toppings will just result in the employees throwing a few pieces on top of an already made cheese slice and then warming it up in the oven. Gross). I’ve been told that their sandwiches are pretty good, but I’ve never tried them. In short, this is not a destination eatery. But if you’re in the area and craving a slice this place will suffice.

Jessy’s Pizza – Menu with Prices – 30 Farnham Gate Rd, Halifax

I don’t often go to pizza places as (like the last reviewer) I have zero self control, so when I do, I go for the single slice. Also, When I get pizza I expect it to be excellent because it is my cheat meal! I’ve learned that, at this location the best time to get a slice is between 2:00pm-3:30pm. During this time, you are getting the freshest slices just after the lunch rush. If you go then, the slices are awesome, cheesey, the sauce tastes like pizza sauce not too sweet, not too spicy and good amount of toppings. Following this time, however, I find the slices aren’t as great, maybe rushed for the supper hour? just aren’t as well put together. and late night…. stay away! It’s the left overs! If you are looking for a fresh slice.. They are Great! I rated it 4 because if you go at the right time it’s awesome! totally worth the calories. But they would have gotten a 5 if they were more consistant!

Crust Pizza Co – Menu with Prices – 8714 Spring Cypress Rd Ste 100A, Spring

This place has good pizza and the wine by the glass and bottle are extremely reasonable. A glass averages around $4 and a bottle around $12-16 not bad!!! We ordered garlic knots, Greek salad, and goat cheese for appetizer and it was all delicious. The mr. Potato head pizza is my favorite and it’s definitely something different and unique. It’s got Alfredo sauce potato slices with rosemary and herbs covered in cheddar cheeses bacon and chives. It’s like eating a baked potato. Of course their classic pepperoni is good as well. They use the smaller pepperonis that crisp up really nice in the oven. I would recommend this place for sure!

The Original Geno’s – Menu with Prices – 2211 W Camelback Rd #178, Phoenix

I am a huge fan of their pizza slices. For about 2:50 or 3:50 if you decide to add about to toppings. These are some of the best footlong spices that event in Phoenix and I’m a big fan of Corlanos on the opposite side of Camelback in the streets but I have to give it to Genos aZ for winning the pizza game. The thing I think I like the most about this place is that the kind of take a slice with sauce on it but then they freshly prepare the cheese and toppings all there so instead of heating up a frozen or a pre-made pizza you know kind of like how they have the class cases it’s already a piece of the cut a slice out they just heat it up they put the toppings and stuff on top of it and then you get your slice which is always the best way to do it in my head and they do that for cheese slices to so you’re not going to get a cheese slice just automatically heated up and then you got to go in the oven but rather they put the cheese on it fresh and go from there which I kind of think really asked the quality of the pizza. Now this is called Geo’s so cheesesteaks I will say the cheesesteaks aren’t exactly on point. Better than Subway hundred percent as a few places in Phoenix that I would say it is better than I’m like best of Philly but there’s three places off the top of the head I won’t mention that do better cheesesteaks in this place. But their hoagies are pretty good there other sandwiches are pretty good but if you’re going there for a cheesesteak might not be the place I will add they do sell alcohol that TVs and once again the pizza slices are on point like I’ve gone back just for the slices so I recommend it
