I’ve been here four times and every time I come in never disappointed with the food. However this time the cashier working the front was a bit impatient. I wasn’t even done ordering and she cut me off to tell me the total. Once I finally finished ordering she went to grab my card when I was paying with cash….I’m sorry when do the cashiers start reaching over to grab your debt card when it’s still inside your phone wallet. That is why I only gave 4 stars; every-time I come a bring someone with me but this time the device was not as well as I would hope it to be. But to focus on the food, that was delicious just the right amount of spices and ingredients to the food. The chicken shawarma was delicious. My sister had the Chicken kabobs plate and she said it was good; I asked if it was dry she said no. It look juicy and the sauce they use I love. I won’t lie it’s a bit of a drive but the taste of the food is well worth it and they serve coke products (fountain) which is a huge plus. Total came out to $38 bucks not to bad for great food and good portions.

Shawarma Flavors – Menu with Prices – 755 Dundas St W, Mississauga

I’ve been to this fairly new shawarma place a few times in the past few months. I really wish this place was a lot closer to where I live as I would make weekly trips here or at least every other week! There are a lot of shawarma places out there for sure but this one has delicious eats for amazing prices! The current promo is $8 for 2 regular sized shawarmas (or falafel wraps) or you can get a generously stuffed shawarma plate for the same price. I usually get the chicken shawarma, falafel wrap or the mixed plate, which are all flavourfully stuffed with choice of protein, veggies, seasonings, rice, hot sauce and garlic sauce. I really hope they keep this deal for a long time as you get so much for what you pay for – such a steal! It takes some time for food to be made after ordering at the register but it’s worth the wait as the staff are nice and their food always tastes so fresh and looks carefully put together. Give this place a try!

Med Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 5870 E Broadway Blvd Space 548, Tucson

Wow! I tried Med Cuisine today for the first time. I had the Chicken Shawarma Pita Sandwich. It was one of my favorites ever. I have tried pretty much every Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurant in Tucson, and this is the first that left me wanting it again and again. Afterward, I thanked the owner who was working the kitchen and mentioned I wanted to try his falafel. He gave me a plate with a falafel ball to sample and it was also delicious, but that shawarma stole my heart so I ordered another one right after lunch to take home for dinner. My husband did the same, but got the beef / marinated top sirloin shawarma. This will be my go-to place for shawarma. I loved it. On a side note, my sandwich comes with a mayo sauce or garlic sauce, but I love tahini sauce, so they were accommodating and gave me that when I asked for it instead of the options that come with it.

Falafel Café Menu with Prices 401 19th St S #100, Birmingham

This is a fairly new place about a block from UAB, a great place to grab a quick lunch or some food to go on the way home. The atmosphere: Not a big place, but has a nice feel to it and is kept very clean. They have about 10 tables inside, and a service bar where you order. The food: I’ve been to many places similar to this in California, and it’s about time we get one in Birmingham. Everything we had here was absolutely delicious. We had the gyro sandwich (gyro + pita + bunch of toppings from the available list) and the chicken shawarma plate (rice + chicken shawarma + hummus with lemon sauce on top + lots of toppings). I most highly recommend the chicken shawarma, the meat was nice and tender and very flavorful. Out of the toppings list I highly recommend trying the chopped salad, Jerusalem salad, red cabbage salad, tahini sauce, pickles, shatta (hot sauce). Just to warn ya, the shatta hot sauce is pretty spicy, but if you enjoy spicy food it’s a great addition. The great thing about this place is you can try as many of the toppings as you want, all included in the price of the sandwich/plate. They additionally have a cooler full of drinks that you shouldn’t miss out on, I highly recommend trying the “Vimto” drink. Price: Very reasonable. For the gyro sandwich we paid $7.49 and for the chicken shawarma plate we paid $9.49. They have very generous portion sizes, and you definitely get your money’s worth. Even more so with the plate options. Service: The workers behind the food bar are very nice, and will take the time to walk you through menu options and give recommendations.

Gyros And Kabobs – Menu with Prices – 2020 S Parker Rd, Denver

My favorite place in the city! This place deserves more reviews and recognition for the fantastic food and staff. I love that this is a small and modest place, run by a friendly and kind family. My friend and I wanted to try this place after craving some Mediterranean food. We came on a Sunday morning and the place was half full. We ordered right away. What we got: – Chicken Shawarma Plate: Probably the best shawarma I’ve had! The chicken was decadent and the spices gave the chicken a slight lemony taste. It paired perfectly with the cooked turmeric rice. The plate also comes with green hot sauce, which was great and not too spicy. There was also a side of salad for a palate cleanser. If I lived in Denver, this would be a frequent stop for sure! – Baklava: perfect amount of sweetness and honey- a great dessert to end the meal. I absolutely love this place!

Wow Shawarma – Menu with Prices – 434 Clarence St, London

Wow… well maybe just call it Middle of the Road Shawarma. I can’t knock the staff they were super friendly and though I was kinda dazed and confused they smiled the whole way through which made me smile too. My problem is that I’ve heard all these great things about it and simply did not live up to it for me. I got the Chicken Shawarma combo and gave my money and waited only to be asked again by the person cooking what I ordered. They didn’t seem to communicate back and forth which was fine, as I was able to convey what I’d ordered but did put me off a little. I like that they let you pick what you want on it instead of assuming. I went for hummus, garlic sauce, tomato, onion, lettuce and tahini. I was expecting a flavour bomb but all I got was a bit of a dry fizz. The chicken had parts that were so dried out I had to spit them out and the hummus, garlic sauce and tahini had next to no flavour at all. The saving grace was the seasoned fries which were delicious, albeit a bit soggy by the time I got home but that’s on me. I wouldn’t rule out trying it again… but I hope next time I get the WOW part of the Shawarma instead.

Sam?s Southern Eatery – Menu with Prices – 1631 N Glenstone Ave, Springfield

Where do I begin, when we entered the restaurant, a gentleman was ordering. The man at the register was very impatient and rude. The man, who was ordering, wasn’t making it clear enough as to what he wanted. He became flustered over the total of his order, but paid anyway. He stood behind us and kept speaking about the total. The “manager” asked us what we wanted. We began to place our order and instead of focusing on us, the “manager” started arguing with the other gentleman again. When my sister asked if her credit card had already been charged, because we were going to leave, finally the “manager” said it had gone through. Fine, when our food finally arrived, it was not what we had ordered and there were two extra items on the tray. We ate it anyway because we were hungry and my nieces baby needed to eat. When we got up to leave, the “manager” came up to my sister and apologized and told her he had a very stressful job. Fine, maybe he doesn’t need to be in the position he is in. Before we could get out the door, he came over again and told her if she had canceled her order, his boss would have fired him. I think his boss needs to give him some lessons on handling this type of situation without making others so uncomfortable that they’re willing to walk out. This whole altercation was so loud, everyone in there had a front row seat. All they needed was popcorn and soda!

Pita Street – Menu with Prices – 11400 Fourth St #104, Rancho Cucamonga

Wow! Our entire food tasted amazing. Paneer kabob plate: THE BEST. It was everyone’s favorite. I would totally recommend this for anyone who is vegetarian. The paneer was not oily or greasy, it was cooked perfectly. Falafel plate: One of the best falafel I’ve had. It was crunchy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. They fried it perfectly. Very flavorful. Chicken shawarma plate: Tender and juicy. Lots of flavor. The chicken was cooked crispy but was still juicy and tender. Loved this! Chicken kabob plate: Yum!! Huge pieces of flavorful chicken. The portion is great and very filling. The basmati rice that came with all the plates WAS THE BEST. The rice had so much flavor and was melting in our mouths. We all agreed the rice in the meal was a huge bonus. The hummus in the plates was smooth, creamy, and did not taste bitter or overwhelming. I Best for last: The PITA BREAD!! I have had so many different places and the pita bread here was the softest and most fresh tasting. It tasted buttery and melts in your mouth. Garlic sauce: smooth and perfectly flavored. Buttery and great to dip meat in. Customer service from the older man was inviting and I truly appreciated his hospitality. Was impressed with the food! Would recommend this plate 10/10.

Me’Mo’s Middle Eastern Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 2221 McHenry Ave, Modesto

Me’Mo’s truly leaves a lasting impression with a variety of tasty middle eastern dishes. Their cuisine is brought to life using a pleasant array of spices and herbs that compliment their traditional middle eastern options, such as dolma, chicken shawarma, and more! I have frequented this restaurant for many years with my family. We thoroughly appreciate the casual yet inviting environment. The owner, whose name I cannot remember, is always so welcoming and eager to make recommendations and suggestions to those who might not be familiar with this type of cuisine. I sense that the family who owns and operates this restaurant is both sincere and passionate about their cooking, and it manifests with every bite! Personal favorite- Chicken shawarma wrap with EXTRA garlic sauce.

Falafel Time – Menu with Prices – 6475 W Charleston Blvd #110, Las Vegas

Falafel Time is the newest food counter to set up shop inside the CSN food court. Menu has falafel and beef shawarma, available in wraps or plates, with a selection of sides. Tight menu means good execution of everything! Came in for a falafel plate, staff were great about accommodating a couple of adjustments. Falafel was hot and fresh, soft inside and crispy outside- one of the better versions in town. Pita seemed store bought but was amply portioned. I also enjoyed the hummus and house-pickled veggies. $11 vegetarian plate filled me up for lunch with leftover pita to spare. Would love to see menu add chicken shawarma, but if that’s not an option at least offering feta, olives, and that green spicy sauce as add-ons would be awesome.

Jerusalem Shawarma – Country Hills – Menu with Prices – 30 Country Hills Landing NW #204, Calgary

I’m visiting Calgary for the weekend and I found this place on my way from the airport. I was looking for a quick-service restaurant that served good quality food, and this hit the mark. I ordered the Mixed Shawarma which I really enjoyed. The star of my meal was the garlic sauce. It added such a rich flavor to the food. My only complaint was that the beef that came with the Mixed Shawarma was a bit dry. I did also sample some of the ground beef they serve on the Donair and it was juicy and flavorful. I’d definitely come back to have it again. The service was excellent. The young ladies who served me were pleasant and friendly, and greeted everyone who walked in so warmly.

Worthy Brewing Company Menu with Prices 495 NE Bellevue Dr, Bend

Went into worthy for the first time and we got seat fairly quickly outside. It took a few minutes for the waitress to come by which is fine but when she did she asked if we knew what we wanted and when we said no not yet she gave us kind of an attitude and then she asked if we wanted anything to drink and we said water was fine for now and she very snottily said the water was over there (point at the water jugs sitting on the table out of our sight), then took her quite awhile to come back and take our order. Once we got our food a different waitress brought it to us and I asked for a thing of ranch and she looked at me like I had just insulted her or it was a giant burden.. So we go to eat our food and my girlfriend got the chicken wings, they where flat terrible legit almost not edible (mind you Iâ??m a fat kid Iâ??ll damn near eat anything you put in front me and these were even tough for me to eat) my girlfriend couldnâ??t even eat them she ate the carrots that came with them instead, the chicken itself had a very weird tough consistency and the â??bbqâ? sauce was like someone dumped a bunch of brown sugar in a bucket of stomach acid…. Now onto my food.. I got the chicken sandwich the â??spicyâ? one, the bun was soggy, the chicken had a very similar consistency as the wings, there was about a quarter size drop of sauce in the bun and the lettuce was wilted and gross… About the only part of the food that was almost half way decent was the fry’s if they werenâ??t over cooked I could see them being good. So I think the waitress came back and saw us once shortly after we got our food and asked how everything was (was before we had actually tasted anything) then we didnâ??t see her again until long after we had â??finishedâ? eating. She came by and grabbed my plate (again fat kid Iâ??ll eat damn near anything when Iâ??m hungry) and asked if we wanted anything else and we said no and asked for the check and a box… She brings the check but no box… we ask â??hey can we get that boxâ? she said â??oh yeah sorry Iâ??ll grab thatâ? never saw it… she walks by a few minutes later headed inside we ask again she says â??yeah Iâ??ll get itâ?….. comes back outside past us with no box… so then a few more minutes go by and nothing so we see her walk by again like sheâ??s going inside (at this point itâ??s been about 20 minutes since we asked for a box the first time) we said â??hey about that boxâ? she didnâ??t respond… few minutes later walks out the door and past us and comes back with a box… (meanwhile our card has been waiting for her to grab to ring up our check the entire time) so we throw the chicken wings (that my dog probably wonâ??t even eat) in the box and finally get tired of waiting for her to take the check so i pulled our card out and threw cash in there and we left… Left the wings on the table decided they were gonna end up the trash anyway so might as well let them throw them away… Iâ??m usually a very generous person when it comes to tipping waiting staff…. if they deserve it….. She got no tip… she didnâ??t deserve it in the slightest… we got treated like we were extremely unwelcome the entire time we were there, except when we walked through the door the hostess was very nice.. Mind you they werenâ??t very busy so itâ??s not like they had that excuse.. I hope this isnâ??t the experience that they show to everyone else.. Iâ??ve been to a lot of restaurants in a lot of different places and states and the service and food we got here was at the top of the list of the worst Iâ??ve experienced.

Lazeez Shawarma – Menu with Prices – 6085 Creditview Rd #2B, Mississauga

Came here for some last minute take out dinner. Located in a plaza that’s easy to find but a little bit quiet and dinghy. I usually go to the Eglinton/Mavis location and almost didn’t even notice this Lazeez when leaving the Nofrills in the same plaza. I bought the Lazeez on the rocks ($12-ish), no spice, extra sauce (extra $0.50). The portion size was average or a tiny bit above average compared to the other location, but since shawarma is a heavy meal, this one portion was enough for my mom and me. There was a decent amount of chicken and rice. Everything was seasoned really well and the sauce was great. All of it was solid but it didn’t knock my socks off and wasn’t that different from Osmow’s or other shawarma places. The place was pretty full for a weekday night but they made the shawarma really quickly. This location doesn’t feel as modern and bright as the Eglinton/Mavis one I’m usually at since the decor is newer there, but the shawarma here is always solid, always the same every time I go. Pricing wise, it’s about the same as other places.
