Here’s a review for this place that I have been going to for the past 5 years. First of all, I know you’re wondering why I have been to this place for the past 5 years and giving them a one star review, but let me tell you why. I have been going to this local restaurant for quite some time, the food was good, not absolutely amazing, but good. I would go to this place to satisfy my cravings for Vietnamese food. I would spend $30+ at this place and give a nice tip and bring my family here whenever we would eat out every now and then. It was not until recently where I noticed a lack of customer service and a certain situation where I would rather drive an extra 15 minutes than to eat at this certain place. I ordered food to-go to bring home to my mom who really wanted to eat Vietnamese food, so I drove here, ordered, paid, and waited for my food. I noticed a lack of change (just a couple of dollars not even double digits!). I never got a receipt, just the change in my pocket. I am not the type of person to try and complain about two or five dollars missing, it’s not worth it. However, this was not the case, it was my mom’s money and of course I needed to bring her back the exact change. I went up to the register and explained how I had a lack of change after paying for the food I ordered for to-go. The cashier then tells me that he does not believe me and assumes that I am lying and that I am trying to get a couple of free bucks out of him, REALLY? Never have I ever experienced such disrespect from a person. He kept saying that he did not believe me after I clearly showed him that I did not have the correct change and I was not trying to hide anything in my pockets. I did not even bring a bag inside. Unbelievable. I have been going here the past five years bi-weekly or at least once a month. I even went here on special occasions like anniversaries and celebrations. It only takes one disrespectful comment for me to no longer go here and recommend this place. And there was no apology at all for their mistake. So to everyone who took the time to read this review, do not go here; because I definitely will not. You have lost a loyal customer over a couple of bucks, and disrespectful comment. So I will take the $30+ and tip money that I usually spend at this place, elsewhere; to a place that deserves my time and money. I wish this business good-luck as well as the people who chose to eat here because they are going to need it.

Your Place Restaurant & Pub – Menu with Prices – 2270 Kohn Rd, Harrisburg

Anyone raving about the …boli has never had a REAL stromboli. What I was served was ham in an insane amount of cheese and a couple little balls of sausage (you know, the kind you get on frozen pizza). The menu says deli meats, plural, this is not what i got. There was nothing else, no peppers, onions, or any seasonings. The lady who waited on me was a doll, service was excellent, she apologized when i expressed my disappointment and the manager took it off my bill, which is NOT what i wanted, nor did I ask for that. My guess…they skimp on the ingredients and ride on their past reputation thinking that’s how you make money…WRONG! I told her my next business trip to Harrisburg I will bring her a REAL stromboli. Management, change your menu, or… if you advertise something DELIVER IT! Better yet, change your business philosophy. People will pay good money for QUALITY…not crap…and they will return and bring you MORE business. I know a lot of people successful in the food business and NONE of them deceive their customers or skimp on quality. Maybe you need a bar makeover!

Yoshinoya Madison – Menu with Prices – 3501 Madison St, Riverside

Tell me why the i gave the cashier $20.25 when my total was 18.17$ and as I handed her my money I said I have 25 cents change and she grabbed it and then said awkwardly with attitude “oh here it’s okay I’m giving you your change back because I already pushed that you gave me $20” and handed me back 1$ and a bunch of change. Like girl you could’ve just given me a dollar and 3 cents back.. and i looked at her like what? I work fast food but this ain’t it, she was getting stressed cause there was 3 people waiting in life behind me, but the way she was, was disrespectful as well with the way she did everything. Just handed me my receipt and that’s all. Food was ok.

Antonio’s Gourmet – Menu with Prices – 7319 Amboy Rd, Staten Island

i agree with the comment below! you wont know this place exists… until you know it exists! LOL so glad i found this hidden gem! working on this side of the island and not having a lot of options for lunch when we order out is pretty stressful and can i say BORING after ordering from the same place almost every day! a patient of ours told us about antonio’s and we ordered today and can i say it was AWESOME! we had a large order, but i will review my own personally… i ordered the napoli wrap and it was delicious.. everything was so fresh and such a good combination of prosciutto and eggplant with mozzarella and the balsamic glaze… YUM and super filling! everyone was pleased with their order ( everyone ordered some kind of wrap, sandwhich or salad) and we cant wait until we order from them again! one thing i was dissatisfied with( but will get over because of the freshness and quality of the food) was the young lady taking the order over the phone. my oh my what an attitude.. i wasn’t going to comment on this but i felt like i should have so maybe if an owner or boss views this comment they can have it corrected.. the snapping of the gum isn’t pleasant, and also be a little more kind to a person who is providing money to your employers establishment!

Bagel City ? South Menu with Prices 6006 SW 18th St, Boca Raton

It’s been years since I’ve been back (and if you read my previous review, then you’d understand why). But this review is about a comeback and redemption so I’m not going to dwell on the past and bash what is not the forefront of any issues anymore. It’s been 7 years since my last visit and immediately upon my return I was greeted by a couple faces that I recognized from back when I used to frequent this establishment. The dining area and the deli counter appeared to be very clean. The staff working the deli counter were typical of jewish delis… “YEAH YEAH, WHATCHA NEED?”… You’re not ready, no problem they’ll move onto someone else before you have a chance to take a breathe… I don’t mind this pushiness but I’d probably be happier to not feel rushed. I knew what I wanted so no problem… BUT when I took my order over to the cashier to pay I realized I forgot something; I didn’t bother but had I not been rushed I would’ve had time to get that missed item and I probably would’ve inquired about other items… just more money to spend but oh well Quality of the food, that was spot on…. bagels were perfect, our lox spread was excellent, the chopped liver and whitefish salads were excellent (not cheap but really well worth the cost spent; roughly 20 dollars for a pound of whitefish salad) Bottomline, this place has earned my business back.

Coach’s Corner – Menu with Prices – 2221 Transcontinental Dr, Metairie

While i never like leaving a negative review. This place absolutely deserves it. There is a total of 2 individuals in the entire city. I bring a group of 5 with one person being 18 and the rest of us being 24+. All with ids. The guy at the bar waits until after I order my drink having already checked our ids and then tells us because she is 18 ( having been quiet the entire time) we had to leave even though the place clearly states the minimum age is 18. The individual truely is was disrespectful and is more than clear that his reasoning is because he doesn’t want to work.

The Royal Crab Calabash Seafood Buffet – Menu with Prices – 610 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach

Let’s start with the price. I read that it was 19.99 per person if you didn’t have crab legs, well it’s the “in season” so that doesn’t apply. Roughly 30 a person for anyone over 12. 6-12 was 19.99, and there were 7 of us.. luckily I found a coupon in one of the books for 4 dollars off each adult. Next- the service. There were three people standing at the front when we went in, the host and two servers. One server looks at the other and says ” I’m not waiting on that party” okay- whatever. The lady that served us was training someone else.. but they were very kind and attentive. I’m sure our server was happy to have our tip. Finally- the food. NOT worth 30 dollars a person. I went specifically for the seafood– I mean, I’m at the beach, no better place for seafood right? Wrong! I understand seafood is naturally salty, but it seemed like they poured lots of salt on top of that. They advertise over 100 items.. not even close. I didn’t try the crab legs, although I should have for the price.. so I can’t comment on those. The cheaper price is initially what drove me here, but I will not be returning.

Midori Express – Menu with Prices – 2421 Randleman Rd, Greensboro

I was going to this place for years despite how cold and rude the lady at the register is I always order a lot of food basically I spend a lot of money at that place yesterday I ordered a lot of food but when I got home I didn’t see my chicken wings so I called back to let the guy know that they forgot my chicken wings I get up to the store and the guy starts showing me on camera that he gave me the chicken wings and starts questioning me as if I’m lying saying we got cameras and that months ago I try to short change them for three dollars now this guy doesn’t even work there on a daily basis so I tell him the lady took my money and never gave me back the change why lie about receiving change for a transition that isnt even breaking my pocket anyways I get into an argument with the guy and basically let him know that I’m retired military and everybody black isnt trying to steal this place is racist they have poor customer service I later found the chicken wings and bought them back to the store he packed everything in one small bag so it was an honest mistake but the entire time they felt that I was a dishonest customer from the start why tell me to come back up to your store to get the wings but try to accuse me my stealing when I come there so much the lady at the register practically knows what my order is black people dont give your money to these racist people.

Rise N Shine Donuts – Menu with Prices – 7803 University Ave, Lubbock

I’ve been bring my grand children here for several years. In the past they started serving eggs bacon biscuit and gravy. So I have order in the past over easy egg without the biscuits and gravy . And they weren’t the best over easy eggs but they were over easy. This morning I ordered over easy and one egg yellow was busted and not over easy both cooked on way to high heat to preserve the nutrients in the eggs. I sent them back. In a few the young woman who took my order came back with money in hand and told me the owner said they can’t cook eggs over easy that I could take what I was given or take my money back. Really !?! You’ve got to be kidding ! Should’ve went to the pancake house! Will not be back here if the grand kids want donuts Dunkin is right next door !

Pollard’s Chicken at Battlefield Blvd. – Menu with Prices – 717 S Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake

This is the 4th time I’ve been here in the past couple months or so and every time gets worse. The customer service and lack of respect from the cashiers is unacceptable from a Pollard’s. Last time I ordered the daily lunch special around 2 and it took 45 minutes to get me a chicken sandwich and fries. I didn’t complain but just setting the stage on this review. Another point of reference, my mother in law got raw chicken and the managers response was “they’re just kids” as to why it was undercooked. We ordered a family meal of tenders with a rotisserie chicken mashed potatoes and one baked potato. The tenders were extremely dry and extremely greasy, mashed potatoes had plastic in it and were chunky, baked potato was- I’m not sure, still trying to understand what I’m looking at, and the rotisserie chicken was burnt. I should’ve looked at the food before I left. It was a waste of a trip and money as to most of the food was not eatable. This is the last time I’m ordering from the Battlefield store and will go to the one at Kempsville/Centerville. **If the owner would like to make some restitution concerning this matter I would be happy to have a conversation and update the review.**

Undertow Beach Bar – Menu with Prices – 3850 Gulf Blvd, St. Petersburg

This used to be a chill laid back place, one of my favorites in all of Florida. I was a regular, took my family there dozens of times over the years. The last time we went, management was incredibly rude. I was at the bar with my dad and uncle. My family was on the beach. One of my little cousins (about 8), came in from the beach side wanting a cup of water, I DID NOT bring her to the bar. The bartender said, “she’s not going to stay here right?” I said, if course not. She just wants water, there’s literally no other place in this establishment to get a cup of water. So if you could please just give me a cup of water, she’ll head back to the beach”. She gave me the cup, but the manager also came over and started unnecessarily being a dickhead. He said “you need to get her out of here NOW, loudly.” He was very close to her, and talking loudly – she was scared. I felt like he was literally about to physically touch her and force her out of the bar – which would have certainly landed me in jail and landed him in the hospital if not the morgue. I understand there are rules, but there is also a certain level of respect you should treat your customers with – not to mention a child regardless of the circumstances. I haven’t been back and certainly won’t ever be taking anyone there or recommending it to my friends. It’s a shame really, they can enforce the rules without being disrespectful assholes. Judging by the other reviews, customer service has clearly dropped substantially over the last couple years. Apparently someone who complimented this review can’t read – like I said previously, I DID NOT bring a child to a bar, she came in from the beach side looking for a cup of water. I would never just bring a child to sit at a bar. Ultimately my main complaint is that the situation could have been handled a lot more respectfully, without being so aggressive towards a child. I don’t care what the situation is, that is totally unacceptable.

Mariscos Sinaloa Style – Menu with Prices – 2250 S Euclid Ave E, Ontario

Came here with a friend a couple days ago. It’s right next to a food 4 less off the 60 freeway. This girl sat us down. The inside is to dark id say. Also they are doing work Inside I’m assuming cause there is a big piece of wood blocking half of the inside. I got the happy hour menu Beer was really cold but only had 2 to pick from. The food prices are pretty good on the happy hour menu. They don’t give chips unless you ask for it. Our waitress that was cool left and some guy took over My bill was 16 and I gave 20$ and he didn’t bring my change. I always tip if service is good but don’t ever take someone’s money with out them saying keeep the change. Very rude. I don’t know if I’ll be coming back. If I do I’ll make sure to get my change this time. Food was okay. The Shrimps on the tostadas are half raw. Be carful

Chinese Gourmet – Menu with Prices – 1809 Cedar Ave, The Bronx

When I do not feel like cooking or I don’t have anything in the fridge I buy my meals from here. These people are not rude nor they are disrespectful. Very nice employees and business owners. Why no one but me ever gave a review over the years since they have been here I have no idea. You guys know why. I wish Chinese Gourmet well. They are not your typical average Bronx business. What does that mean? Chinese Gourmet appreciates your business the other businesses do not. So give this place your business and boycott the others. Thank you. 3/14/18 A couple of days ago I ordered their vegetable soup with some skepticism & doubts of the possible good taste. Wow! The soup was amazing and tasty! I was surprised. I think I’m going to order most of their soups for now on. Especially when I get colds. I’ll make sure I order the chicken soup.
