My Kaiser workplace was excited to have fresh sandwiches and salads from Peak Refreshments. About a month ago they pulled all the fresh food from the refrigerator and became a ?beverage only? kiosk. Our employees are extremely dissatisfied with this turn of events. Feels like we are being punished by Peak Refreshments for tiring of the SAME burritos week after week. Fact is, if they had rotated their fresh food items (as we were initially told they would) then more people would have purchased from them. The SAME foods were offered and business at the kiosk may have slowed but it never halted. Now there are only $3 cans of energy drinks and a few bags of snacks which do not take the place of a meal. Time for the kiosk to go!

Club Insiders (anti-café/co-work) – Menu with Prices – 2067 Crescent St #205, Montreal

The coffee shop has a nice vintage look! There is this clock table on the side near the private space that is a must see… You can even work on it! They offered unlimited snacks and drinks on your stay. There are vegan snacks and home made jams. Not much choices of hot drinks but their hot chocolate is to die for!! I go there once a week to attend a class until mid-May. The rate is affordable (5$/hour) and we can pay a fix price of 6.50+tx for our stay in the café and I did mention it is all you can eat and drinks, right? That rate is for the ones who take a class only. The usual rate is 12$+tx for student and 15$+tx for regular folks.

Angkor Asian Market – Menu with Prices – 4753 N Pershing Ave, Stockton

I was extremely happy to see and know there was a Cambodian grocery supermarket. I’m from Canada and this was no Cambodian store. There no Cambodian supermarkets where I lived. Extremely large, Specialty selections of Imported Cambodian grocery: products and foods selections. Top quality products. I’m very impressed with the imported top quality Cambodian foods and products. From imported fresh foods, Appetizers, snacks, to imported Cambodian Beauty, and household products too. There are also imported Specialty Japanese, Taiwan, and other part of Asia Ethnic Speciality Flavours too. I’m beyond impressed with the stores extremely large selections of Specialty Asian cans, spices, noodles, snacks, and other ethnic foods selections. This is a lot compared to bigger Supermarket Asian chains. I bought a few things. I left and love all my products and foods I bought. The snacks was delicious. The quality, taste and prices are inexpensive too. I had a really good experiences that I had to write a a Review. I will be coming here a lot. Other Benefits: -Free Parking -Accept Payments: Debit/Credit/Cash

Southern Fish Fry – Menu with Prices – 1117 Wealthy St SE, Grand Rapids

5 of us came into the restaurant thinking they closed at 10, they actually closed at 9. We didn’t know this until 4 of us had ordered food and had been waiting while he made it. He ran out of curly fries and honey mustard so he made the honey mustard on the spot by hand, gave our 5th person a free meal, offered to replace the curly fries with anything he’d like (including non side foods like more chicken), and refunded us $1.50. We apologized when we found out he stayed open to cook for us and he actually thanked us for bringing him a big sale and told us not to worry about anything. He also offered all 5 of us free drinks on our way out. The man who owns this place is an amazing cook, a very nice man, and deserves a ton more business! A local hero! Also their food is all gluten free which is a nice bonus for our friends with a gluten intolerance!

Terrene Hookah Menu with Prices 106 Vassar Dr SE #2823, Albuquerque

This is my 2nd time here. I love the ambience first off. Anyone that isn’t picky and likes good smoke would like it here. They have bottomless hookah for 10 bucks…can’t beat it! You can do add ons like add fruit, ice, or premium shisha for a small surcharge. It’s quiet and laid back. Most people are studying or on their laptops. It is close in proximity to UNM…probably where most of their business comes from. I recommend you drink before you get here. (if that’s your thing) They do not serve alcohol, but refreshments such as soda, red bull, water, gatorade, tea, frappuccinos, and monster energy drinks. They have packaged snacks, but I’m currently unaware of which kind. I came to smoke, now about the smoke. It is clean and smooth. The customer service is great, they always check on you to make sure you’re good. There’s also a restaurant next door that serves alcohol if ya need a drink. They’ll hold your hookah and spot for an hour if you leave. Really chill…economical hookah spot. Sorry for the fuzzy pic (ain’t nobody got time for that!)

Snap Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 1325 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia

I absolutely love Snap Kitchen. Purchased the ground bison from there(not sure exactly what the title was) the week before last for lunch and loved the size, taste, and ease of reheating. No doubt these meals are fairly expensive but if you are someone like me who is on the go all of the time and spends tons on fast food anyhow it’s not that bad. I’ve been trying to get back in shape for a while but being in a two person household it’s hard to cook a variety of healthy foods without throwing away leftover ingredients. After purchasing the lunch I went on the website and saw they were offering 40% off the first week of a meal plan. The meal plans are highly customizable whether it be the amount of days, what meals you want per day, etc. I went ahead and ordered the lunch and dinners for Monday-Friday. Every meal was delicious and some were downright phenomenal (naked beef, turkey chili). I could go on and on, but for someone who likes to be active, is always busy, wants to eat healthy but doesn’t necessarily want to cook, this place is a godsend. I was able to make my caloric goals every day last week while still eating a variety of delicious meals. Thank you Snap Kitchen!!!

Sprouts Farmers Market – Menu with Prices – 4873 Town Center Pkwy, Jacksonville

I was so excited to hear that we would be getting a Sprouts! Walking into the store was nothing short of impressive. The staff appears to be adequately trained, friendly and helpful. In the front of the store you will find many freshly prepared foods ready to go and a nice coffee bar as well as freshly baked goods. Nearly anything you want to try will be offered to you as a sample prior to purchasing from the fresh foods. They also have a very nice seafood selection which is something that the town center of Jacksonville desperately has needed. I was very impressed with the meat selection particularly the hormone and antibiotic free boneless skinless chicken breasts that I was able to purchase for only a $1.99 a pound! You simply cannot beat that. The produce section is what really blew me away because the organic options are endless and the prices are just right. I was very impressed with the quality and freshness of the fruits and veggies all around and the amount of staff circulating the area ensuring nothing but high quality produce. Today I purchased some organic leafy greens for salads, blueberries, tomatoes, broccoli, zucchini, brussel sprouts, jalepenos and some shiitake mushrooms. I also got a bag of the peanut butter granola which free samples were offered so I could try first. Although I didn’t purchase anything from their beer zectuon, the selection was quite impressive with many local craft beers already chilled and ready to go. Throughout the store you will find many gluten free options as well as keto, vegetarian and keto. were incredible as well as the healthy lower calorie options. If you’re a fan of pasta alternatives they offer all the great brands including lentil, black bean and chick pea varieties of pasta. I picked up a few packages of different ones to try as they had a nice sale going. I did not purchase anything from the vitamins or supplements today but the selection appeared vast. Freezer items looks great with tons of common healthy brands available for a reasonable price along with a variety of sales. I purchased a freshly prepared Turkey and kale meatloaf already sliced up and ready to go for a weeknight dinner. I already had to taste test it and it was delicious. I also purchased a thai chicken stir fry dish with all ingredients prepped for about $7 which will easily feed both myself and my husband. All you have to do is sautee the chicken and veggies and serve some rice on the side. They also have a great variety of cheeses, olives, pickles and freshly made sauces as well as salsas ready to go. For the amount of money I spent which was approximately $100, I had 3 fully stocked reusable bags full of food that will certainly last me through the week (all organic). It’s not even a question that I will be back here and since I live close to the town center. I likely will be coming on a weekly basis and avoiding other supermarkets as I am sick and tired of purchasing produce and meat that goes bad within a couple of days of purchasing at an astronomical price. I am hoping that the prices, friendly staff, fresh and healthy options continue to remain the same and if so I will continue to shop here for years to come.

The Club JAX – Menu with Prices – 2400 Yankee Clipper Dr Suite 301, Jacksonville

Four stars for convenience. I like that it’s easy to get to. I’ve been traveling a lot the past few months so I have been through here several times now. So here’s my overall opinion…. If you are a first flight in the morning traveler you SOL for anything to eat or drink before your flight. There is nothing open. Not even a drink machine (that I found). Since you can’t bring anything through security, it’s a little ridiculous. Same applies if you land late. I don’t find anyone to be very friendly in the morning. The TSA agents are borderline rude. I had a clear quart sized bag of granola bars, dry snack stuff (packaged all in original packages, no liquids) since I knew there was nothing open that early. To make it easy I put my snack bag in the bin, out of my carryon. Twice now I have had them scrutinize my snacks; “what is this? What is it for?”… “it’s a granola bar and it’s for a snack” They have also swabbed several packages. I’m not sure I really like the idea of them handling my snacks with gloves that have touched who knows how many peoples items. My baggage has always been fairly quick to come and in fact there have been several times the bags are already going around by the time I get to the carousel. As far as dropping off curbside you literally have to push the person out of the car, throw their bags on the sidewalk and speed away or you are getting yelled at to move. Don’t say goodbye, don’t hug, there is no time for that! (I wish I was joking).

Rioja! A Wine Bar – Menu with Prices – 1603 Battleground Ave, Greensboro

This is a small place which offers a nice variety of liquid refreshments and a number of small plate food choices – Cheese & Charcuterie, Salads, Bruschetta, Gourmet Panini Sandwiches, and Snacks (Bread,Nuts, Olives, Hummus, Dip, Salsa, Crudite, Dates, and more). I put together an order of Creamy Brie ( with Granny Smith, Multigrain Crackers, and Jam for $7), Italian Meatballs (with mozzarella, tomato, pecorino, and focaccia for $8), Dip Sampler (Hummus, Spinach, & Salsa with Tortilla Chips for $12), Smoked Salmon (with dill creme & capers for $7), and an Italian Meat & Cheese Plate (with fresh bread and olives for $14). I probably would not reorder the Italian Meatballs ( a spice or something in them I didn’t care for), but the other items were quite nice, especially the Italian Meat & Cheese and the Creamy Brie with an amazing fresh jam. The Smoked Salmon was also excellent. Based on portion size, the items are a bit pricey, but all the quality and freshness was there.

Western Dragon Teas – Menu with Prices – 300 Blake St, Raleigh

I’ve been buying these incredible teas since they began sharing their fabulous offerings with the world. Wow! This is some incredible stuff. When I was a kid my father used to always say, “Don’t stay in cheap hotels, always eat good food, and always invest in quality shoes.” Well, I’d like to add to that. “Always drink the best teas!” You want great teas! You deserve great teas! You want scrumptious teas! You want high quality teas. You want delicious teas. And that’s exactly what they offer here. And the price is perfect! I went to the Morgan Street Food Hall last week and stocked up right there at their beautiful kiosk! Anthony was there to great me and to explain the various health benefits of the teas. It means so much to be able to buy any product right from the person who creates it! Anthony is tearrific! So go down there and check the place out, and be sure to stock up for yourself, and buy a bunch of bags for your friends and family. Teas make fantastic gifts! And their really wicked cool names add to the appeal. I am looking forward to it getting cold outside so I can go down to the Food Hall with a book and a mug and order a bunch of different individual bags, and enjoy hot teas while the snowflakes softly drip down from the wintry skies.

Cotton Eyed Joe – Menu with Prices – 11220 Outlet Dr, Knoxville

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE… I have been a long time customer of 22 years and will never return after last nights experience. At closing time, last call for drinks was made, I purchased 3 drinks for a couple of friends to have before we left. Immediately after the purchase I placed them on the table to drink after I returned from the restroom. On my way to the restroom a bouncer told me I had to leave because the bar just closed which they did just announce on the speakers after he stopped me. I told him last call was made 3 minutes ago and I had purchased the drinks that it wasn’t fair and just wanted to use the restroom before I leave. At this time there was still a hundred people or more still there. He then grabbed me and spun me around and shoved me in the back. I put my hands in the air and walked towards the door as he continued to push me 3 more times in the back as I was walking. The bouncer didn’t know I have a hernia I am having surgery on in 3 weeks but he could have injured me more by being recklessly over aggressive shoving me for no reason. After I exited the building I requested the owner Chuck to repay me for the drinks I purchased. He did meet me at the front door and pay me back for the lost drinks. I told him thanks for the money but the real reason I wanted to see him was to tell him that his bouncer had no right to assault me for no reason, that I simply was walking to the restroom. I said Chuck your bouncers can’t pick on the customers because it is bad business. Chuck then turned around and started screaming at me and tried to run at me, then his own bouncer grabbed Chuck and took him inside. I am convinced that if the bouncer did not grab the owner Chuck he would have pushed me or hit me because of the anger he was displaying. Because of the owner Chuck’s attitude and reckless behavior towards me and the bouncers behavior I will never go there again. Chuck you are very unprofessional as well as your Roadhouse wanna be bouncer. Chuck your bouncer could injure a customer with a medical condition very easily or any normal person. This is why I don’t feel safe in your business for myself or others that’s why I wrote this review. I’m in fear that your bouncer that will push the wrong person some day and you might end up in a lawsuit because you were to arrogant to listen to a concerned customer like myself.

Beach City Provisions – Menu with Prices – 17851 Pacific Coast Hwy, Huntington Beach

This place is cool. Their regular hours on a Saturday is 10am, but they also have a sign that says if their door is open, then they’re open. So it was before 10 and their door was open so I walked in. I purchased some snacks and a beer. They have a rule that any alcohol purchased must be consumed on the patio area. So instead of buying 2 beers I bought 1, lol. They also offer you free pretzels if you purchase any alcoholic beverages. Outside it looks like they sell other hot food and cinnamon rolls. The people here are really nice and it’s a chill spot to hangout at.
