This review is based on delivery from this Panera location. And not all the issues are theirs, some of them are Panera-land issues. I order from this location for office delivery often. And every time (not an exaggeration) there is something wrong with my order. The thing about delivery is that it needs to be right every time – or at least most of the time, not never of the time. Because I am not sitting in the restaurant where I am able to come up to the counter and tell you that you forgot my baguette, or my butter, or my cookies, or you got me the wrong drink, etc. You aren’t going to bring them back to my office, and I am not going to leave my office to go get them (especially when I paid $3 delivery fee + tip). So, I am just out of luck. I have however reached out to Panera customer service when issues arise, and they always take care of it – a free dessert, or some credit on my account. Which is appreciated, yes, but it would be so much better if my order was just correct when it was delivered to me in the first place. (I try not to reach out every time because I don’t want it to seem like I want something for free. I really just want my order to be correct.) The food is almost always delicious though. A little pricey, but it’s good. However. The Cocoa & Creme Cookie (https://www.panerabread.com/en-us/menu-categories/pastries-and-sweets.html#cocoa-creme-cookie) is literally the size of an Oreo – for $1.99. It’s not anything special, and it’s certainly not worth $1.99. And the Cherry Cheese Brittany (https://www.panerabread.com/en-us/menu-categories/pastries-and-sweets.html#cherry-cheese-brittany) – there is no cheese in this. It’s promoted as “stuffed with cream cheese” but I couldn’t find any cream cheese in it. The Kitchen Sink Cookie (https://www.panerabread.com/en-us/menu-categories/pastries-and-sweets.html#kitchen-sink-cookie) is a family favorite, but it’s $4. $4! – and it’s not like it’s a bigger cookie or anything. This is one to get when you have earned a freebie. The bagels are well-priced at $1.39 each. The Chocolate Chip Bagel (https://www.panerabread.com/en-us/menu-categories/bagels-and-spreads.html#chocolate-chip-bagel) makes a good little dessert when you want something sweet, chocolate, and cheap. They offer PayPal to pay online when you place your order, but it doesn’t actually work. I clicked the online order help thing and they emailed back telling me to use my credit card and store it on their site. But maybe I don’t want to do that? Maybe that’s why businesses make PayPal an option. Why have the PayPal icon there when it doesn’t actually work? I noticed today that when I put notes on my order in the notes field they were cut off on the receipt. So that could have been why the order was messed up – because the people putting together the order didn’t see the notes. They need to either make the notes box only the amount of characters they will see, or, make the receipt able to allow more characters so that all notes cross over. For the convenience and love of the food, I will probably still order from this Panera. But man, I hope they get their delivery service figured out.

Cookie Jar Eatery – Menu with Prices – 230 S Phillips Ave, Sioux Falls

I unfortunately can’t speak for their affordable and diverse breakfast and lunch offerings but I can reflect upon the privilege my mouth experienced whilst masticating one of the cookies from their jar. I purchased a “bomb.com” cookie. Expectations were high, as was nostalgia for the vintage catchphrase, and the cookie did not disappoint. I did not read what actually was on the cookie but a more discerning consumer may read the label in the case for accuracy. The cookie was everything a cookie should be. Flavorful, moderately crumbly as a result of moisture (not dryness), appropriately sized, and consistent throughout (did not have the crispy edge and barely moist middle that is found at a lesser cookie purveyor). It was topped with a creamy chocolate frosting and peanut butter and chocolate candy chunks. Cookie was large enough for two separate cookie breaks at work; however, my steely resolve and self discipline was no match for my desire to get as much of the cookie in my mouth ASAP. It was truly https://www.bomb.com/tastycookie/perfection/

Cookie Munchers – Menu with Prices – 11842 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Tampa

Decided to try this new (to us) sweet treat spot out with my 13 year old as we were looking for something to do to fill sometime this afternoon. It was an instantly fun vibe as we walked through the door as that sweet cookie smell hit us in the face!! Upon my Yelp check-in, I received a coupon for a free cookie with a $5 purchase… Why thank Yelp I’ll definitely use this coupon now!! My kiddo chose the average run-of-the-mill chocolate chip cookie, I chose the double chocolate cookie and we choose an m&m cookie it to share between the two of us. it took a few minutes to get our order but it was definitely worth the wait as they were freshly baked while we sat at our table chatting. Our cookie order came in a small pizza size delivery box and when we opened it, it was like pure heaven! It was definitely worth the wait!! And there was definitely nothing average or run-of-the-mill about these ginormous warm cookie! My intention for the third cookie was to bring it home so my family that didn’t come with us could at least sample it but my thirteen-year-old saw the “cookie challenge” (eat 10 cookies and a pint of milk on 20 minutes, you get your photo on the wall of Cookie Fame) and decided he wanted to see how long it would take him to eat the other cookie. Proof – no cookie to bring home to anybody else. Their loss cuz this place is definitely scrumptious!!!

Seven Stars Bakery – Menu with Prices – 820 Hope St, Providence

Whenever I’m in Providence, I stop by at one of the Seven Stars Bakeries, but I really like this one on Hope Street (mostly because I can park in front and run in). They have a killer chocolate chip cookie — not like a super sweet loaded with chocolate cookie that’s a 1,000 calories. These cookies are chewy, soft, not too sweet, about the size of palm, not too much chocolate, and they have an old school bakery flavor that’s hard to describe. It’s the taste that warms me up and makes me feel happy. And, my husband feels the same way. When you see the chocolate chip cookie, it’s not a sexy gooey look, but more of a “here I am, your favorite cookie” kind of thing. Clearly this cookie is underrated because people go for the croissants and bread and lemon cake, but try the chocolate chip cookie and transport yourself back in time.

Donna Marie’s Gluten Free Bakery – Menu with Prices – 1694 Penfield Rd, Rochester

Came in here for the usual, a chocolate chip cookie, but chose to get an almond butter cookie and a brownie with walnuts. The almond cookie and the brownie were absolutely awesome. I highly recommend you try the brownie, who doesn’t like a good brownie?! I’ve heard other great things about their cupcakes which I will save for another visit. Onwards to the cookie. The cookie was smaller than I hoped but what it lacked it size, it made up for in substance. Because the cookie was small, they used smaller morsels, which there were plenty of; so the cookie definitely had a nice chocolatey taste to it. The aroma was tough to pinpoint since the cookie was slightly chilled, which usually masks some of the smell. It took about four bites and cookie was all gone. I would give the cookie 4 stars, could have been a bit bigger but hey, you cant have everything. Overall though, I would give Donna’s 5 stars due to the quality of her treats. The almond cookie and the brownie was an awesome compliment to the cookie, as I’m sure everything behind the glass is!

The Cookie Bar – Menu with Prices – 6290 McLeod Dr Suite 120, Las Vegas

I have nothing but glowing reviews for The Cookie Bar! The flavors they offer and so fun and inventive and the cookies are well made to boot. However, I knew they were going to get my return business when I (last minute) asked if they would be able to to do a personalized cookie cake for my nephew’s 21st birthday. They were personable, friendly, and so professional in taking my order. They worked with me in personalizing the cake with an actual photograph and made the other decorations very “21st birthday” specific. Of the photo options I gave them, the photo they chose translated perfectly onto the cake. They delivered it earlier than I would have anticipated and were prompt in notifying me of delivery. Moreover, the price for the cake and delivery were great. I can’t say enough about how fabulous I think this company is! Thank you, Cookie Bar LV, you did a phenomenal job!

Coperaco Café Navy Pier – Menu with Prices – 7 Navy Pier Ct, Staten Island

The space and its distinctive decor still exist: its operations as a coffee shop have just been taken over by the Coperaco coffee shop chain, and in a recent article on the subject on silive.com, https://www.silive.com/expo/life-and-culture/erry-2018/11/6d5c63a2eb1258/coperaco-worldfamous-coffee-ro.html?utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=statenislandadvance_sf&utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwAR1uEJwIjHl5WkFlUTH-dhy2O7y8RZH4AI7KWLGPHVVg6Pr8Mv6JEoStuAg, its address is given as 8 Navy Ct Pier.

Coffeezaun Espresso – Menu with Prices – 4518 N Pearl St, Tacoma

This place is great! I highly recommend. Most original drink menu I’ve seen in years. My husband’s coffee was spot-on and my applr pear iced tea was refreshing! I can’t wait to go back and try something else. Service was also good, young woman at the window was friendly and accommodating. Gluten free and vegan options for snacks, all alternative/milk subs available too. My only complaint is the cookie dough bar we ordered. The name “cookie dough bar” made me think it would have chunks of cookie dough in it, or on top of it. In fact the picture posted on the menu looked gooey and delicious. What we recieved was a dry chocolate chip cookie bar, no dough, not even under-baked to give it that dough-ish quality. I don’t think all the pastries would be this disappointing because I could see them through the window and they looked authentic. The overall experience was good so I’ll be back to try again with the treats.

Stirred, Not Shaken – Menu with Prices – 3334 18th St, San Francisco

I am not a cookie person. My family members are not cookie people. In fact, we don’t even really eat sweets or desserts. But these cookies are sinfully delicious… which is why my non-cookie family ordered approximately 20 cookies this week from “Stirred, Not Shaken.” The cookies are large, chewy, and soft in the middle. There’s a subtle variation of textures, and when you bite into the cookie you get a nice doughy, hearty bite. The cookie in the picture is ginger molasses. It’s possibly my favorite cookie of all time. It’s got a balanced sweetness with ginger that gives it a little something special (like a bit of kick, but it’s not spicy… know what I mean?). I took a few bites before realizing I should write a review on Yelp — but by then, the damage was done. My brother ordered Oatmeal Walnut and gave rave reviews. He is usually deadpan and avoids superlatives / high praise… but he shelled some out for these cookies. I don’t know what’s going on. tl;dr: fantastic cookies. highly recommend.

Panera Bread – Menu with Prices – 941 N Central Expy, Plano

Twice now I have visited this Panera Bread, and twice I’ve been disappointed. 1st time – 6:30 am – On the way to work, stopped to order an everything bagel/cream cheese – they didn’t have any. ‘Someone came in and gave them a big order – they didn’t have any bagels left’. That was the excuse. Um, you’re in the bagel business. So I ordered a quiche, which was good, but was not what I really wanted. 2nd time – I placed an order on Wednesday 6/5, of two bagel packs, and paid for the order at that time. I asked for the order to be ready at 6:45 am on Friday 6/7. At just about 6:40 am on Friday 6/7, Panera called me and said they wouldn’t have my order ready. They had several orders to fill that day. Could I wait and pick it up later? No, I ordered it two days ago and I’m on my way to work. I asked what they had available – they had 10 bagels. I had to cancel my order and figure out something else. Again, they are in the bagel business and I ordered two days ahead of time. Very frustrating. We ended up going to Einstein’s Bagels, who had bagel packs ready to go for quick service. Which I appreciated, and what I would expect from any business like this that caters to breakfast. I called Panera a little later that morning, pressed ‘5’ to get to a manager. ‘Grace’ answered and identified herself as a manager, but I’m 100% certain she wasn’t. She couldn’t help me, said she would speak to her manager about it (Kelly) and have her call me ‘when she got in’ around 10 am. First of all – at 10 am, your morning rush is over. So I’m not sure why or how a manager shows up at 10 am. Second of all – to this date, I have never received a call from Kelly or any other manager. I did get a refund from Panera. But I will never use this location ever again. They obviously haven’t figured out how to plan and serve their customers that want bagels in the morning. They could take a lesson from Einstein’s!

Up & Up Espresso – Menu with Prices – 4231 Rucker Ave, Everett

We just got some their food and espresso type beverages today. We got the chicken stromboli bake. the drink the got was the chai blended and the chocolate milkshake with coffee in it. We also got some chocolate chip cookie and muffin top too. Everything tasted good and very fresh tasting too. I would definitely recommend this espresso stand to anyone else who wants a change a pace too. They also deliver through Uber which is convenient for us cause we live close by also. All it took for delivery is about 10 minutes. The price for everything is about average for this type of food but darn well worth any price cause everything we ate and drank was very nummy too. i will definitely order or go there again also.

Tango Pastry Menu with Prices 6100 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria

Tango Pastry is a small, unassuming Argentinean bakery, attached to the Days Inn off of Richmond Highway. They have a pretty extensive menu, being a small bakery/cafe – facturas, various pastries, alfajores, cakes, breads, a brunch menu, and what they’re famously known, empanadas. We ordered a small box of various cookies/pastries – mini tarts filled with quince, alfajores, a little chocolate cookie bomb, and a glazed sweet croissant; all were the perfect amount of sweetness (which was not too sweet); the shortbread-like parts of the cookies were tasty, and all were fluffy and not dried out. Emapandas fillings include chicken, corn and cheese, ham and cheese, beef, tuna, spinach, and onion and cheese. We chose all, except for the tuna. The empanada shell is made with puff pastry, and all come generously filled. The hubs enjoyed the ham and cheese the most, while I really enjoyed the spinach one (tasted like spanakopita!). Ms. Sandra, who helped us, was very welcoming and very sweet! She explained all of the pastries/desserts in the case. Definitely a good number of people dining in as well as picking up pre-orders. Definitely a hidden gem off of Route 1 – I’ll definitely be back for their empandas! -empanadas -ask for Ms. Sandra! +attached to Days Inn +plenty of parking in lot

Hershey’s Ice Cream – Menu with Prices – 301 S Cameron St, Harrisburg

My wife and I bought Hershey’s Ice Cream Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Premium Ice Cream from a local Shop n Save, hoping for a really good ice cream night for our family. We were very disappointed. After 4 bowls of ice cream not one chunk of cookie dough was found. After 2 more bowls still no cookie dough and after finishing the carton no cookie dough to be found at all and about 10 chocolate chips were consumed. The ice cream did have a good flavor and consistency. We expected much more from a quality company like Hershey’s.
