Love the food here my favorite are the Conchitas with a Agua de frutas. Just simply perfect its not like a full meal maybe like a big snack. Service is nice you can call ahead and place your order to pick up. It does get pretty packed sometimes though. But I don’t mind the wait. Recommend it.

Once Upon A Grill Menu with Prices 1947, 3148 Packard St, Ann Arbor

I met up with a friend and as we were walking in, a group of 6 walked in front of us and as you can imagine, they did order a lot of food. We ordered the following items: – Butter Chicken – Mutton Curry – Fish Tandoori The owner told us it would take longer then usual and sure enough it took a while… we got there at 6:15pm and it took an hour before we got our food. Seemed like the owner was already backed up with few orders, on top of the orders for the group of 6 ahead of us. So what did I think of their food? – Butter Chicken – the dish has heavy butter taste, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying the dish. Pour the curry and chicken on top of the rice and if you like it spicy, order it spicy! The dish really only has two things – curry and pieces of chicken breast. – Mutton Curry – the lamb meat was moist, perfectly cooked and the bones felt off the meat without any issues. They give you a lot of meat in this dish. If you don’t eat lamb because of the smell, then don’t fear, this dish did not have any lamb meat smell. – Fish Tandoori – the name threw me off… expected to be tandoori dish based upon the name, but it was more like blackened fish with grilled veggies on bed of rice. Don’t get me wrong, the flavor department was super packed and the dish was delicious!! Seating is limited to counter top style along the walls, this is mainly a takeout joint. I would recommend you order ahead and take the food home. Looks like the owner is the only person running the joint, so expect some delays. I would highly recommend that you order ahead and pick it up. On the food aspect, the flavors were excellent, I had no complaint on the food itself… the only draw back was the long wait… yes I appreciated the owner saying it would take longer then usual, didn’t expect an hour wait for the food… but at the end, the wait was worth it… next time, I’ll call ahead and pick up the food and eat there. While the wait was too long, I’m giving 4 stars for the food experience. Also keep in mind, some of the items you order, they might not be able to fulfill… we wanted to order BBQ for 2 people and was told that was not feasible, just have backup order plans just in case.

Posh Sushi & Grill – Menu with Prices – 2715 E Del Mar Blvd, Laredo

This is a very solid three. Place has good food and decent service. We arrived and were asked to sit where ever we wanted. As usual, this is in no means an authentic sushi restaurant. This is a Tex Mex sushi restaurant. The place itself looks really nice and cute for a date. We ordered waters and they came out rather quickly, it was then when they told us their head chef had stepped out and any sushi order would be getting started in about 20 minutes. We said we would order an appetizer and wait, luckily we didn’t have anywhere to be. We ordered an Agua Chile De Camarón and a Villareal Roll as well as a Kamasutra Roll. The lady once more apologized and said she was sorry of the wait ahead of time. As she walked towards the back she asked a helped if he knew how to make the rolls we ordered he in a very unsure voice said something along the lines of.. “kind of”. A lot of time passed, maybe about 15 minutes and our appetizer came out. The agua chile looked very, thick. Typically you want it to be juicy and watery, literally Agua means Water, this was more like a paste on the shrimp. It tasted alright. The sushi’s came out shortly after. Great presentation, but quality lacked. It was obvious this was not made by their main guy. My sushi was flat out cold (it was suppose to be warm” and my brothers was warm and it was supposed to be cold.

Filomena’s Italian Kitchen & Market – Menu with Prices – 2400 Newport Blvd, Costa Mesa

I am so glad we decided to go here! There were 7 of us in our group and I made sure to call ahead to make a reservation- I would really recommend calling ahead because I didn’t realize how tiny the restaurant is! We had to wait a few minutes but they were able to seat us at a table all to ourselves which was nice (there were also shared table options available). The restaurant itself is super cute and from we had heard, it recently got a facelift. The ambiance was good and we made sure to call ahead to ask about bringing our own wine which they graciously allow 2 bottles per table with a $20 corkage fee per bottle. Moral of the story, we brought two bottles. We ordered 6 plates to share amongst the 7 of us. Let me tell you, there was not one thing that we ordered that any of us did not like! Everything was spectacular. What we ordered: 1) Four Cheese Ravioli & Meatball – this was my favorite dish and everyone else’s 1st or 2nd as well. 2) Papperdelle Bolognese – This was a close second for me to the above, and this was a lot of people favorite I was with…if you are in a smaller group and cant try everything I would say go with these two options and you wont be disappointed! 3) Pizza Bianca – This was a perfect balance to all of the things we ordered with red sauce. 4) Chicken Risotto Special – We had to order one of the three specials of the night and this one also did not disappoint. 5) Bowties Sausage & Spinach – of everything I got this one was still good but not as good as the others. If I hadn’t tried all the other things I probably would have ranted and raved at how amazing this was, but compared to everything else I would order the other things before I would order this again. Last but not least, our server, Manny, was so amazing!! He was really nice to our group and just an overall sweetheart and made our experience that much more enjoyable!

Taquería del primo Menu with Prices 13900 Immanuel Rd, Austin

Call it a stand, call it a taco truck. Whatever it may be….its damn good. Well packed breakfast tacos for a very cheap price. Always the two same friendly staff that runs the place. Fast service, always under 5 mins. If you are on the run or got a big order call ahead. Awesome Place. Glad my coworkers pointed this place out to me. A++++++++++

ragg dolls homecooking winton rd – Menu with Prices – 9176 Winton Rd, Cincinnati

Food good, business not soo much. I hate to say that when going to pick up my food, I witnessed not so good customer service. It Wasnt towards me but still, disturbing! My experience was that I went back in to order. I tried calling in multiple times ahead of time because I expected it to be a long wait. THEY Dont ANSWER their phones!!! (Bad business) But I went anyways. The place was hard to find with no outdoor signage. I only found it because I went into the bowling ally to ask for directions and just happened to see that they were located in a small room in the bowling ally. Kinda weird, but i was still determined to give it a chance! No lines. I was the only one there. One of the older ladies took my order and she seemed to have a sweet vibe. I placed my order and it seemed to have taken forever as I guess everything was cook to order style. Cool. Ill wait, hopefully its worth it. As i waited a few Doordash drivers came in to pick up orders, most of them complained about the wait and one even left angry because this wasn’t the first time they’ve had issues with this business. As time goes on my order is up, i look at it before I leave. I ordered the chicken, mac, and cabbage and cake on the side. I will say IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! It was delicious. This is what real Soul Food is supposed to taste like! Surprisingly the cabbage was the best thing going. The best ive ever had!!! Everything delicious. I would definitely recommend the food. I just hope things get better in the customer service area. Because if they can get on top of that they would be THRIVING, im sure!!!!

Sal’s Pizza – Menu with Prices – 6773 Carnelian St, Rancho Cucamonga

Best pizza around the Rancho Cucamonga area I have found! Tried it for the first time, I ordered the XL 2 topping pizza for $23! Slices were huge, they were very generous with the toppings and it tasted delicious!! I normally just eat 1 or 2 “small” slices, like pizza hut sizes, but this pizza was so good I ate 4! And the slices were big I couldve been full with 1! I didnt get to take a photo, I was too hungry! They dont accept debit/credit so be warned of that and its not a sot down restaurant, they’re just a store front. But this is perfect to call ahead and pick up for an amazing dinner! Dont waste time with fast food pizza when you can have the real thing! I will be coming back!

Golden Chicken – Menu with Prices – 17944 Hillside Avenue, Jamaica

Sunday night. This place was 2 blocks away so I called for a pick up order since it was only a 20 minutes wait compared to the 1 hour wait as delivery. Their phone cut off for the first 3 seconds after picking up then it connected again, which made me think I was hung up on at first, but I guess I was put on hold without notice. The female on the phone was very curt and repeated “anything else?” with an obviously impatient tone every sentence I spoke. Bad sign. Called in again in 10 minutes to switch the order to Delivery due to a disturbance at home and was unable to go pick it up. She insisted that it cannot be switched, but I apologized and said I literally live 2 blocks away and she finally conceded (with a stern rebuke) . Told her the address and apartment number #C and phone number. Asked to pay ahead with credit card, and she vehemently refused. Fine. I let it go and was willing to pay with cash on my end since I’m the one who made an abrupt change. 50 minutes later as we were patiently waiting for the food and is getting ever more so hangry, my SO called them to see what’s up. Apparently they had gone ahead and canceled our order after a delivery attempt without telling us. Their delivery guy actually rung #D instead of #C, but failed to call us or make any attempt to communicate with us (why take my phone number if you’re not going to call me?). It wasn’t even anywhere close to their closing time and we were already hangry. So, I can’t comment on their food as we did not even get the food. I’d give 0 stars if I could for their incomprehensible attitude and service. Will not call again or even visit the establishment. *edited for grammar and spelling only*

Mitchell Delicatessen – Menu with Prices – 1306 McGavock Pk, Nashville

Love the food here. Reubens and French dip are my go to’s but I have tried bites of many others. Good selection of local craft beers and the service is nice. You can sit inside or out. You can order online and pick up in the store. Word of warning though: if you order online they absolutely will not call your name out. In house orders they call your name when the food is done but online you need to go up to the counter and ask. This bit me once when I was in a hurry. Sometimes the wait for food can feel long but that’s because they are usually pretty busy. It has never been overly excessive for me so I go pretty regularly. Highly recommend.

Aloha BBQ Grill – Menu with Prices – 9810 Indiana Ave # 800, Lubbock

First of all, we LOVE the food. The price is right and portions very large. HOWEVER, donâ??t waste time calling in an order ahead of time. I called in our order 30 minutes ahead of going to pick it up. After I paid, the very unfriendly woman put it at the END of the line of orders on the counter!!! I asked her why my order was placed at the end and I had called it in 30 minutes ago. She told me because all of the other people were ahead of me!! I waited another 30 minutes before my food was ready. I said, â??Just so I understand, it doesnâ??t help to call ahead?â? She said no. I was fuming, but will eat there again because the food is so delicious. I would suggest for them to put a message on their answering machine that they do not accept phone orders. Iâ??ve never had this happen with any other restaurant! Iâ??m sure they have had people call in orders and never pickup, but if they choose to do business like this, the customer needs to know their order will be placed at the end of the line when they pay, or accept payment over the phone. The lady at the front also needs some lessons on customer service. Itâ??s a good thing they have delicious food; they would have been out of business a long time ago.

Tokyo Grill – Menu with Prices – 5535 W Market St, Greensboro

I have came here for a couple years and order the hibachi chicken. This is one of the best hibachi take out restaurants in greensboro. Have had far better inexpensive hibachi in charlotte, so keep that in mind. Chicken is decent quality as well as the vegetables. White sauce is good and they give 3 good sized pots of it with one box. Appreciate that they do not skimp on that. Employees are nice enough but they seem understaffed in the kitchen. Only one person was working on the grill and it wasn’t like nobody was waiting on food but me. On the phone the lady said the wait would be 15-20. Got there 20 minutes later and still had to sit for 20 minutes. Watched other customers go up to the counter frustrated asking where there food is. I would not recommend eating in and ordering there. Definitely order ahead of time and be aware of their longer than average wait times. You must also pay on the phone with card, they will not allow you to order ahead of time and pay in store. Food always hot and delicious though

Vietnam International Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 3716 61 Ave SE, Calgary

Located in a strip mall in an industrial area, surrounded by medical labs, I would say that this is a pretty good choice for lunch. Around noon it is packed at the tables, so that says something! I grabbed a #20 to go – spring rolls and shrimp on vermicelli noodles. It was good. Atypical vermicelli dish and under $10. I would not recommend the shrimp – they were quite rubbery but the taste was ok. (hopefully they were just over-grilled and dried out and not old, please God!) No stars for ambiance but hey, you know what you are in for when you see the outside of the restaurant. It is one of those holes in the wall that may keep you coming back for more! Very friendly service, family owner kinda feel. Call ahead and they will get your order ready for you – there is not really anywhere to stand inside to wait for your food.

Black Sheep Bellingham Menu with Prices 211 W Holly St, Bellingham

The food was great. 6 top with a 1 hr wait on a Friday night. Not bad considering the place was PACKED! But once we got seated the service just really irritated me enough to dock this 2 stars. Not only did the water bottles on our table never got a refill, but our unfinished plates AND cocktails just got taken away without the “are you still working on that?” Specially when a basket of chips and salsa comes with a charge and there’s still some left… DONT TAKE IT AWAY! When asked if we wanted more drinks (yes we do) and the old drink still has some… PLEASE DONT TAKE IT AWAY! I would’ve said something but our server was mega quick to walk away. I had the lamb, chorizo, carne asada and carnitas… I really enjoyed that each one had it’s own flavor! Very tender! Unlike the usual pick a meat and sauce and garnish are the same. The meats alone stand on their own with just the seasoning, but the sauces/salsa just gave it a little extra “umph” Had the prickly pear cocktail- it was so tart and refreshing!
