Love this place because the ice cream costs a dollar and it’s really good you should definitely check this place out

Smallcakes Cupcakery & Creamery Menu with Prices 18135 E Petroleum Dr suite d, Baton Rouge

I drive past this place every single day on the way to class and FINALLY stopped by the other day, and I’m so glad I did! This is very cliché, but it’s true that the workers here are as sweet as their desserts. The worker helping me and my girlfriend out was really helpful and let us try samples of their ice creams. We didn’t buy any cupcakes but we did try their ice cream. For 5 dollars we got their ice cream flight which was a 4 scoops of any ice cream of your choosing and, in my opinion, it’s a really great deal. You get A LOT of ice cream and it was enough to feed the two of us. Another day we came in and got their ice cream sandwich which is basically a scoop of ice cream stuffed between two cookies. I wasn’t really a big fan of this as the cookies were pretty hard and it also costs 5 dollars, which was a little much. Overall, I had good experiences coming into this place, and would recommend anyone wanting a cheap dessert. Not to mention they also have pup cakes, if y’all have any good boys needing treats!!!

Helados Guadalajara – Menu with Prices – 837 Performance Dr, Stockton

You had helados before. Or maybe you know it as paletas. or maybe Mexican Ice-cream. Well whatever the case, we all remember the guy with a mariachi mustache pushing the ice-box with the word ‘helados’ on it, while yer chillaxin in the park on some family event. And usually, you don’t buy nothin cuz it be costin you a dollar right?…and you say, “That’s too expensive for some flavored ice… 1) we all know it ain’t flavored ice 2) we wanted it bad enough that we bought one for 3 nieces and nephews to share after we had our dibs on it. So this place is the MOTHERSHIP of them all…when you see it at the stores, gas stations, and the mariachi man with his sweaty eager hands ready to make a dollar off you…. 50 cents per Helado. And get this: get a dozen for 5 bucks (das 2 extra free) THIS IS THE HELADOS FACTORY, where they make it, package it, and sell it to all the middle men to sell to you with 100% profit. Flavors available: Lime Strawberry (with reall strawberry pieces) Eggnog (during fall season [they close around October]) Rice (like Horchata [frikkin good w/ cinnamon coating]) Coconut Cookies and Cream Vanilla (more like chocolate chip [w/ chocolate shavings]) Pecan Walnut Strawberry and Cream Cucumber & Chili (one of my favorites) Chocolate Pumpkin (fall flavor) Pistachio I can’t remember the all the flavors…but I usually get the cookies and cream and rice and cucumber/chili (I love how you have to ring the doorbell/buzzer so they can let you in)

Chick-fil-A Menu with Prices 101 College Ave, Athens

You’ll go here out of convenience (as will I), but for some reason everything costs more at this location as opposed to every other location I have ever been to except maybe the airport (I’ll be there next month so I’ll look in to that). I always get one of the two same entrees everytime, but at this location it costs more. Very perplexing. Also the trash is almost always overflowing.

Nekter Juice Bar – Menu with Prices – 2001 McHenry Ave Ste. N, Modesto

I waited 2 months for this place to finally open after their announcement to open in Modesto. I missed out going there the first weeks because of health problems. But today I went there at 2 on a Sunday in 100° summer heat and was told there was no more “ice cream” and none expected for the rest of the scorching modesto summer. I’ve had it in orange county..not actual ice cream but a healthy version that tastes like ice cream and costs a lot more. My husband bought the peanut butter acai bowl which was perfect he said. It’s not huge though and cost over $8. I went there for the nut based ice cream, and I did try the acai bowl which tasted great. But I believe ending the ice cream run half way through summer in the scorching valley heat is poor business especially with a store three doors down that serves cold treats year round and less expensive. The store is nicely decorated with parking right out front and clean accessible bathrooms.

Moe’s Broadway Bagel – Menu with Prices – 3267 28th St, Boulder

Spent $5 on salty water. Bought a medium iced Americano, asked for minimal water, and an extra shot. She put two shots (should be 4) into an overflowing cup of lukewarm water with two ice cubes. Had to pour out after trying. While I don’t mind their bagels, they charge an extra $1.50 for plain cream cheese per bagel. The cream cheese costs more than the bagel itself. So I bought half a dozen, then bought my own cheese at Safeway and saved enough for next months rent. They also charge $10 for a mediocre bagel breakfast sandwich. Not worth it. Buy the bagels made fresh at CU market’s, cheaper and comes with free cream cheese.

Almost Famous Popcorn Company – Menu with Prices – 1121 3rd St SE, Cedar Rapids

There are two foods in this world which everyone should love. If you don’t love pizza or you don’t love ice cream, I just don’t know if we could be friends. Unfortunately, besides being amazing, the other thing that those two foods have in common is that it is really easy to mess up something so wonderful. Far too often you go into an ice cream shop only to find that they have either tried way too hard to make really strange flavors or they haven’t tried all and simply have the most generic ice cream there is. Not here. This shop has some of the most incredible flavors I have tasted. The proportions of ingredients are perfect. No one flavor in an ice cream overwhelms the other so that when you take a bite you can taste everything that you are supposed to taste. As far as giving you suggestions as to what to try. Personally, it’s ice cream. It is all amazing. However, if you really want to nail me down with a recommendation I would suggest the “This @&$# Just Got Serious.” Probably my all-time favorite ice cream.

Scoops Ice Cream Parlor Inc – Menu with Prices – 8602 SW State Rd 200 # C, Ocala

I love ice cream but since I tried Scoops’ ice cream I’ve never gone back. It is my absolute favorite ice cream place and I highly recommend! It has a wide variety of unique flavors and they are absolutely delicious! I take everyone I know there and they all love it! Plus, the people are very nice and friendly! It’s well priced for the good amount of quantity but make sure to go with cash as it is cash only! Try it for yourself, you’ll love it!

Soda Fountain – Menu with Prices – 5120 N 10th St, McAllen

Diner inside a pharmacy?? They really are the Best burgers I’ve ever had, really juicy and tasty. The cook even came out to check if we liked it ((: the food is SO CHEAP, and the place is always packed with regulars and locals. Their breakfast tacos are freshly made with crispy bacon, perfect eggs, and fresh tortilla. (Order “a la Johnson” and you won’t regret it) The biscuit sausage gravy feels like home & only costs like 2.17 or something. I love this place, I can’t seem to find anything negative to say about it. Oh! The hours theyre open are only 7am-3pm and breakfast is only till 11am. It just limits my chances of going there. A MUST GO!

Mariscos El Pulpo Sports Bar & Grill – Menu with Prices – 1880 Monrovia Ave unit c, Costa Mesa

Went here with a friend because I heard they had a great Taco Tuesday deal with $1.50 tacos and cheap Micheladas. Upon arriving, I saw no advertising for Taco Tuesday. The menu showed tacos, but the pricing was more like 6 dollars for two tacos. I asked the waitress if they had taco tuesday deals. She said yes and pointed to the tacos on the menu (that show 5.99). I asked if they had 3 dollar Micheladas. she said yes. I ordered two camaron tacos and my friend ordered two carne asada tacos with a side of beans and rice. The rice was undercooked and looked like it was from the freezer. The camaron tacos were good, but nothing entirely special. The reason I am giving one star is because I specifically asked the waitress about 3 dollar micheladas. When I got the check, she charged me 9!! I asked her and she said the 3 dollar deal was for draft beer. I tried to argue but she was adamant that she had told me draft beer was 3 dollars. I also looked online and saw that the taco tuesday price for tacos is $1.50, so they should really change either their menu or what it shows online.

Blue Cow Ice Cream Co. – Menu with Prices – 2817 Shore Dr Suite 111, Virginia Beach

So my friend and I just ate dinner last night and were looking for somewhere in the area for ice cream. We pulled up Yelp and the place we wanted to go was close, we took a gamble on this not knowing what to expect at all. We pulled up to the store front in a familiar location and went inside. The flavor options were awesome. We were getting excited! The girls behind the counter were very friendly and patient with us as we tried multiple flavors trying to decide, each one melting in our mouth and we were literally in awe. Like GIRL! These are SO good!! After every single sample we just stood there like OMG!! We probably looked crazy haha. We had no idea how to choose!!!! Ultimately i got the double scoop in a cup, ($6.50) and i Chose “Cereal Milk” and “Goat Cheese w/Blueberry swirl” ($- she got the “Banana Puddin” in a waffle cone . ($7.50) Yo. The cereal milk… Jesus. Was like HEAVEN!!! Who am i Kiddin’ so was the goat cheese and her banana puddin was out of this world. The consistency was so creamy, and so tasty. We literally talked about the ice cream the whole ride home! She went as far as suggesting to get an application and work there as a 2nd part time job because the ice cream was that damn good, and she actually might (Forreal) LOL!!! I’m sad i didn’t get any pictures (But then my daughter would have seen we got ice cream without her LOL) but seriously… you don’t even need a picture. Do yourself a HUGE favor and check them out. We live in Norfolk but i guarantee you she will convince me to travel out here at least once or twice a week for ice cream and i will gladly oblige. A little on the higher end price wise but we will absolutely be back to break our diets and try every flavor! Side note: My only recommendation would maybe be to add more topping selections. I think it costs extra to add toppings. Only toppings i saw were sprinkles and i think oreo crumbles, and hot fudge was an option. I may be wrong, there might be more.. I just didn’t see where it listed them. Not really a set back, because we are still definitely going to be back!

The Local Scoop – Menu with Prices – 5355 Ballantyne Commons Pkwy, Charlotte

I LOVE ice cream! Who doesn’t, right? To me there is no right season to have ice cream, every season is ice cream season but now that summer is officially here we can use it as an excuse to eat it more and more ? My husband and I were in this area and decided to check this place out and oh my gosh, it was such a great decision. Their shop is cute with some tables inside and chairs for little children which I though was so nice to have. They have a lot of options to choose from and they are all delicious. This time my husband and I decided to go with a peanut butter brownie Sunday. You can choose topping to add to it as well, even though we shared a small we thought it was more than enough for 2 people so maybe if you get the bigger option you might need to consider sharing with more than one person. Ice cream was really good but I missed the brownie in it. Next time we will go for the Cookie Monster that we tried and was really good as well.

Williamsburg Deli Menu with Prices 2900 N Sycamore St, Arlington

I passed by this place for years without stopping, but then I read the reviews on this site. A four-star eatery a block and a half from my house? I just had to check it out. Unfortunately, I found it to be a typical run-of-the-mill deli. Not bad at all, but not anything special either. At the end of the day, it’s just sandwiches. Some reviews mentioned the Philly cheese steak, so I ordered the deluxe, which comes with mushrooms and green peppers for a dollar more. The sandwich was good, and I very much liked the bread. However, it was light on the cheese, mushrooms and green peppers, so that extra dollar was pretty much wasted money. The onion rings and crinkle fries were good but pretty standard. Not a bad place to grab a quick sandwich, but also nothing worth getting too excited about. And FYI, there are only about four tables in the whole place, so one should come expecting to order as take-out.
