New York Bakery! Once again you SHINE Thru.. This time around with your GREEN TEA CAKE! My Oh My! It was indeed delicious, SUPER MOIST and the Icing Cream indeed MELT in my mouth! In between the two layers of the Green Tea Cake, New York Bakery, put slices of Peaches with the Buttercream Icing. My Oh My, thankfully, the Green Tea Cake is NOT as sweet, just I like it from my kind of Cakes… The Green Tea Cake got ALOT OF THUMBS UP especially from the Birthday Girl herself and all my friends who had it on Saturday evening, November 8th 2014. PHEW! THANK GOD For That! This smallest cake order of Green Tea was $28. I don’t mind returning to you, New York Bakery. Definitely RECOMMENDING you to many more friends I have. See you soon! Red Bird Bakery – Menu with Prices – 556 E Cotati Ave, Cotati

I’m so thrilled that a “Real” bakery is finally here in Cotati Since stumbling upon it a few weeks ago my husband and I have been in almost every day trying new things. The breakfast burritos are a favorite of my husbands and the green curry soup was delicious. Please don’t forget to try the cinnamon rolls, Fresh with lots of icing and the lemon cookies are yum yum yummy!!!! Honestly there’s nothing this bakery can’t do. So impressed!!! But the customer service really puts the icing on this cake ha!!! Everyday I walk in and I’m greeted with a big smile Mallory ( the purple hair girl ha!) is always busy with tons of customers but also somehow finds the time to acknowledge each new customer that walks in the door! Although we only met a few weeks ago she is warm and welcoming like an old friend. She puts a smile on the face of each customer. Thank you for the yummy treats and the outstanding customer service I wish I could give 10 stars

Moon Maiden?s Delights – Menu with Prices – 112 W Main St suite 12, Charlottesville

My husband and I needed a vegan wedding cake for our wedding in May 2019, and we approached Sidney, having had her yummy vegan treats both at the Charlottesville farmer’s market and at her bakery. (As of May 2019, she was also the only baker in the Charlottesville area who could do a vegan wedding cake, at least according to my research — go Sidney!) We had a three tier cake with lemon poppyseed cake and lemon icing for the outer two tiers and almond cake and maple pecan icing for the middle tier. Those flavor combinations might sound a little weird, but they were incredible! Apart from the flavors, I absolutely loved the fresh flowers from a local florist adorning the cake. But what I appreciated most about my wedding cake was that I could fully enjoy it without feeling heavy after eating it, because it was actually healthy! I am sensitive to sugar, and I can crash pretty quickly after bakery treats, especially ones with icing. I didn’t want that to happen at my wedding. I also didn’t want icing, in particular, made of vegan butter, which is just a bunch of oil and shortening. Sidney’s cake was delicious and indulgent and beautiful, but healthy and uplifting at the same time! I didn’t have to compromise.

Mimi’s Sugar N Spice Cakes N Cupcakes – Menu with Prices – 3544 Plank Rd, Fredericksburg

Very disappointed! I ordered 2 cakes for my Granddaughters First Birthday. I requested a 10 in and a smaller one for a smash cake. The prices were 50.00 and 79.00. That is very overpriced but I wanted it to be special and thought this bakery could do that. The owner was very nice and took a picture of my requested colors. Pink, aqua and lime green that were in the colors of my granddaughters crib ensemble. I asked for flowers and a pretty cake noting that I didn’t want a “theme” cake just a beautiful cake for her birthday! I have added the pictures of the cake. My husband picked the cakes up and I was stunned when I saw it. The colors were drab and dull. The owner misunderstood and tried to recreate the flower in the crib sheet picture on the large cake. The smash cake was all one color and that color resembled clay. Not pink nor rose but an odd clay color. Even more curious was the fact the icing was in various shades as if they ran out of icing and patch-worked the cake. In both cakes, one could see the cake itself through the icing. How is that possible? (See pictures) I even purchased some Wilton white icing and clear sprinkles to decorate the tops and try to make it a little more attractive. That said, the cake itself and the icing was very good. Hence, the 2 stars. I called Mimis the following Monday and spoke to the owner. I explained how disappointed I was and questioned how my request for a beautiful cake could be so misconstrued. She said she was sorry I didn’t like the cake and I was welcome to come in and perhaps the next time will work out better. No thanks. There will be no next time. I was surprised she didn’t offer some compensation for such a debacle. Warning: If you order here, make your request clear!

Iâ??ve had several cakes made by Georgia in the past. Always been beautiful. Cake is delicious and very moist, icing is tasty, I recommend a ganache. Consistently good cakes, I would not use anyone else to make my cakes, anyone who knows me, will know I recognise a good cake when I have one! I have no hesitation in recommending Georgeous cakes, whether you want a custom made cake or cupcakes.

Rosie Girl Bakery – Menu with Prices – 1400-1498 Main St, Columbia

My sweet friends threw me a baby shower with the most delicious chocolate cake made by Rosie Girl Bakery! Luckily, there were a few pieces left that I was able to take home! My husband and I polished it off pretty quickly that night! I highly recommend Rosie Girl, you won’t regret it!

Karen Donatelli Bakery & Café Menu with Prices 57 Haywood St, Asheville

My family, who live all over the country, were converging in Asheville, NC, for my father’s 85th birthday. One of my sisters looked up bakeries in the area so we could order a cake ahead of time and pick it up once we were there. After careful consideration she selected Karen Donatelli Bakery & Cafe and ordered two cakes – a carrot cake and a chocolate cake. We stopped in on Saturday, June 8 to pick them up and could not have been more pleased. Not only was the bakery charming in and of itself, but the cakes… the cakes were works of art. They were truly lovely, beautifully decorated. Later that evening, after dinner, we brought out the cakes, lit the candles and cut and served the cakes. The carrot cake was one of the most moist and delicious carrot cakes we’d ever tasted. The chocolate was sublime. We enjoyed both very much and appreciated all the time, care, skill and artistry that went into them. Well done! Highly recommend!

Golden Delight Bakery – Menu with Prices – 1516 Bethel Rd, Columbus

This seems to be an unspoken favorite bakery of so many people I know. And now I know why! I think I’m correct in assuming it’s a Korean bakery, I noticed a lot of Asian staples when I was in there. The famous strawberry cake they sell at Golden Delight is a popular style of cake in a lot of Asian countries. The shop is small, simple, and too the point. Daily options are on display in the case, and there’s a cooler with drinks. It’s a no fuss kind of bakery; you place your order, get your food with friendly service, and then you leave. This isn’t really the kind of place to hang out with a friend over coffee and cake and catch up. I naturally had to order a slice of the fresh strawberry cake and it absolutely lived up to my expectations. The cake was spongy, light, just the right amount of sweet, not at all dry, and delicious. The icing is of the whipped variety, which happens to my favorite. Over all this is a great freaking cake. Especially if you’re looking for something that isn’t too heavy or sweet. I also got a six pack of the chocolate dipped eclairs for the kids to share. They were most definitely kid approved!

Cupcake Junkie Menu with Prices 12240 Coursey Blvd, Baton Rouge

If you like cupcakes, even if you don’t, you’re going to be HOOKED on this! The first time I ever tried CJ was at work when my boss brought in some treats for us. He bought everyone a Mardi Gras cupcake, I don’t think it was king cake however. The cupcakes are such a fair size that it’s worth every penny. I bit into the cupcake and my life was seriously changed. I am nooottttttt a fan of icing but this icing was like sheer magic. It started off sweet and then there was this tang that I couldn’t pin point, and almost don’t want to because it would keep this magic alive. On top of that, the owner is such a sweet girl and works so hard. If you haven’t seen her cake for events on her instagram, again YOU NEED TO! Support small business, and… treat yo’self!!

Ashley Bakery – Menu with Prices – 1662 Savannah Hwy, Charleston

Used this place for my wedding this past weekend. Excellent work. They made us 4 dozen cupcakes. The icing was amazing. Many different flavors to choose from. Easy to work with. They made us a 3 layer wedding cake with each layer being a different flavor. It tasted amazing. Beautiful cake design. The guest liked the taste of the cake. I would recommend this bakery for cupcakes and any type of cakes. Very pleased with the results. Staff was great and delivered on time. Not cheap but probably reasonable priced and in line with pricing of other bakeries. I recommend this bakery!

Cake Collection Boutique – Menu with Prices – 7001 St Andrews Rd A14, Columbia

This place is amazing!!! I needed cupcakes for a baby shower that I was throwing on a Monday, and unbeknownst to me, just about every bakery in the area is closed on a Monday. I was so lucky to stumble across this adorable place. The cupcakes were beautiful and absolutely delicious. We got a variety of flavors (cookies and cream, chocolate peanut butter, red velvet, tropical carrot, triple chocolate and red velvet with Nutella icing). Everyone agreed that they were HANDS DOWN the best cupcakes theyâ??d ever eaten. The cake was moist and the icing was perfectly sweet, flavorful and delicious. They also have absolutely amazing customer service. I certainly know where I will be getting cake/cupcakes/cake pops from in the future! Highly recommend!

Cakes By Annette – Menu with Prices – 4014 Derbyshire Ln, Fredericksburg

When you go for your tasting don’t be fooled by the location. She works out of her kitchen. You are in the right place :). We had an outdoors themed wedding and we wanted the cake to look like wooden logs, tree stumps stacked on top of each other with our initials engraved on the side. When we did the cutting, people were surprised because they didn’t even notice that it was ‘the cake.’ It looked so realistic they thought it was another decoration. Almost all of the cake was consumed by our guests and as most of the other reviews will tell you, the cake was moist and tasty! It looked amazing and tasted great! Home run Annette! Our cake was three different layers (a 12″, 10″ and 8″) each with it’s own icing/cake/filling combination. Annette was extremely responsive with our questions and flexible about the tasting. The tastings are setup where you choose a few icing/cake combinations and then choose filling flavors to try with each icing/cake combination. It was a very pleasant experience. All of the options were so good it was difficult to choose! We asked to have her setup delivery of the cake to the venue, which was on time and correct. Altogether a great service!

NorthBlock Coffee – Menu with Prices – 640 Commercial St NE, Salem

After having one of the poorest dining experiences ever down the street, I wanted something positive to end the night on. I had walked by this place earlier and delighted in its openness and brightness. I’ve been a fan of IKE Box and loved seeing this new chapter in their story. Amazing people. On the wall is the phrase “you are the hero of your story”. There is love here. I was a bit baffled at finding what beer to order. Menus weren’t easy to find. But the guy was cheerful and helpful and gave me all the aid I needed. I settled on chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. I sat down at a table and soon they delivered them out to me. The cake was nice. It wasn’t too sugary and didn’t have a bucket of icing. You know how you buy a cake at the store bakery and there is three inches of diabetes on top? Not here. It was just the right amount of icing to compliment the cake. It went well with the dark beer I ordered. I am thrilled this place is here. I look forward to coming here more often. I have a professional causal meeting coming up and I can’t think of a better place than here to go. This place is a beacon of light in what has been a slowly growing and revitalizing downtown in Salem.
