My partner and I had a great time! Atmosphere: the train was very clean with comfortable chairs seating 4 to a table. My partner and I sat across from another couple and we had a blast the entire time. If you’re group is larger than 4 people you can let them know at the time of booking that you want to sit across from each other and they will sit you all together in one area. The train was decently decorated and matched with our shows theme. They also take you to a few spots with beautiful views once you get past the residential areas. Show: The acting was comedic, the actors committed to their characters and interacted with the audience on the train. It was not a broadway show, but it was very entertaining and funny. They also change themes every few months so the acts are fresh and you’re likely to see a different show on your next visit. Food: Amazing! The meal starts off with cheese and fruits for the table to share, then bread, salad or fruit cup, soup, the main dish, and carrot cake to finish. I wasn’t expecting the food to be so great but it was. I had the chicken and it was amazing! Service: Prompt and friendly

Red Chair Catering – Menu with Prices – 3944 Pembroke Rd, Hollywood

So, I found this company on gig salad and after receiving a really good quote and immediately clicking with Jessica I decided to go with them. Our company has a lot of different people so it’s safe to say we drove them crazy with all the menu changes, but not once did Jessica lose her cool with us or change her customer service quality. Then comes the event date, Jessica couldn’t make it so she sent Doug and HE WAS AMAZING. He was funny, the crowd loved him, and he was very friendly. The food was delicious and all the staff was amazing and detail oriented. Not once did they leave trash on a table or anything out of place. I am definitely using them again.

myThai Downtown Restaurant Menu with Prices 333 W 4th Ave Suite 228, Anchorage

Thai food is by far my favorite cuisine, so when I was walking around downtown Anchorage, stopping in here was a no brainer. My delight in finding a Thai restaurant only strengthened from there. . . The location is fantastic. It’s a small, cozy spot, just off the street. If you face the front window, it makes for great people-watching while you eat. If not, the decor inside is fun and inviting. . . As soon as we sat down, my partner and I were given two menus: One with meat dishes, and another with all vegetarian dishes. I usually (but not always) stick to a vegetarian diet, and it can be tough to find the vegetarian options on a menu, so it’s nice to have an all-vegetarian menu. That was a definite plus. The staff were also amazing. The women who took our orders and checked in on us were pleasant and fun to talk to us. They even remembered us when I came back 2 days later with my in-laws. Excellent service for sure.. . The food was delicious. I ordered the drunken noodle dish, which was a little mild for me, but with some of the table chili sauces, I was all set. My partner ordered the larb. He loved it so much that he ordered it again on our second visit. Fantastic flavors, fabulous service, and great location. I definitely recommend.

O’Sullivans Sundays-Free Comedy Open Mic Arlington,VA Menu with Prices 3207 Wilson Blvd, Arlington

We had a great time at O’Sullivan’s in June. We had spare time ahead of the show, so we ordered food – pretty standard pub fare–tasty; nothing fancy. Our real interest was the stand-up! We’ve been to see stand-up open-mics at a good handful of different venues in different cities, and there are several things we really liked about the open mic at O’Sullivan’s. First, the performers sign up for it days ahead of time–online–so they’re prepared with material. Even the most nervous of them got at least a couple of well-earned laughs. This open-mic is *nothing like* the loose, impromptu blubber fueled by liquid courage. Also, there are no TV screens projecting distractions during the show; everyone is there to watch the comedy. We heard that the manager who sets the line-up has return performers go on first, and the real first-time stand-ups get their chance after the audience is warmed up and relaxed. That worked so well to avoid deadly crickets caused by experimental jokes delivered to a cold audience. Also, the MC – Sami was MC when we were there & he was great – starts things off with a few ice-breakers and adds some more laughs between the performances. We loved it! This show is all about the comedy. This place is doing its part to help train the next Seinfelds, Ellens, Louis CKs, Dave Chappelles. Will you see that level of comedy here on Sunday nights? NO! It’s amateurs honing their craft. Will you have some great laughs together with a fun, good-natured audience? Absolutely! *Go.*

Genki Sushi – Menu with Prices – 2800 Main Street MainPlace Mall, Santa Ana

A tourist that was visiting this area offered to buy sushi for me, so I suggested this place since I saw an ad for it on Facebook a long time ago. It is located in the MainPlace mall on the side where the Boudin is. The way that this place works is that one selects what to order from a tablet above one’s seat. This queues an order and after a while it will be delivered on a train directly in front of the table. This makes the experience more like a sushi bar without as much human interaction as opposed to a sushi-go-round, but it’s fun to see the train come out, at least, since telling the out-of-state anime freaks about my experience made them jealous. The only thing that didn’t show up on the train was soup. I kept staring at it to wait for the soup but it was placed at the edge of the table instead so I never noticed it until I turned around. They had “soy paper” for an option whenever selecting something that was normally made with seaweed, so we tried one to see what it was. “Soy paper” turned out to be very similar to tofu skin one could get at a dim sum place, only uncooked. I think I would rather have the seaweed, since there was a $0.50 surcharge for it and it didn’t taste like anything, even though that also meant there was probably very little sodium content. The fish of the sushi tasted good. Aside from that, disposable chopsticks, forks, packets of wasabi, and ginger are available at one’s table. When one is finished, they requested us to pull the tablet out of the holder and hand it to them for billing. They accepted cash. The bill was kind of high for me, but luckily I didn’t pay. Restrooms were single occupancy. They were usually being used, so I had to hold it in. This side of the mall has a PokéStop.

Knot Just Pizza – Menu with Prices – 8170 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach

I saw this new restaurant where Fired Up Pizza used to be. The first time in I was warmly welcomed and told about their $8.99 lunch special for a one topping personal pizza and drink. I ordered cauliflower crust for a $2.00 uncharge. Pizza was cheesy and cooked just right. I don’t drink carbonated beverages and did not like the liquid iced tea.. Second visit with husband, wasn’t lunch time, pizza was okay. Staff grumpy and seemed overworked. Employees coming in late, do I really need to know this?. Third visit ordered two lunch specials, I was charged $16.00 for my cauliflower pizza instead of $10.99. Met the owner, was questioned if it was my first visit, when I said no he said that he hadn’t seen me before. I told him I met his wife and he said that was surprising since she was supposed to be his partner and backup but never there, again I don’t need to know this. Basically my pizza was $13.50 and then drink for $2.50, that is a little too expensive for personal pizza. Owner tried to fix bill and said he was still learning system, how can that be?. Pizza price starts at $9 for cheese and goes up from there. Cauliflower crust is now $3 uncharge.. That will be our last visit.

Camp Ten Four – Menu with Prices – 1309 W Main St, Charlottesville

My friends and I went to Camp Ten Four for one of their monthly drag shows. They have drag shows every 3rd Thursday of every month – the show was AMAZING and the Queens were so talented. Definitely worth going as 10% of the show’s proceeds goes to UVAs LGBTQ+ Center! The $15 cover included a meet and greet with the queens before the show and a free glass of mimosa. The drinks and the brunch menu had pretty decently priced items. I got the lavender lemonade which is pretty good and ordered the chicken and waffle. The chicken was succulent and the waffle was decently sized with decent flavoring. The outer layer of breadcrumbs on the chicken was thicker that expected and a bit over cooked so it tasted a little bitter on some parts. Probably won’t be my go to place for their chicken and waffle but overall it was still good. The venue itself is beautiful and the wait staff were very helpful and prompt. I always enjoy the outdoor rooftop area – always an amazing location to have drinks and hang out with friends.

Pie Pan Restaurant & Bakery – Menu with Prices – 905 N Park Dr, Evansville

Since the change of ownership this establishment has went no where but south. We have made 5 attempts to acquire service and good food as in the past at Pie Pan, with breakfast, lunch and dinner times. Our last attempt was Friday May 10th. Just to explain our last visit: waited to be seated after being looked at by both waitresses a solid five minutes. Mind you, only 7 tables had occupancy in both dining rooms. After being seated at a dirty table with the previous customers crumbs, we were given our waters and we once again waited and waited for our server to return to give our orders, we simply exited this restaurant and vowed never ever to return again. We are very forgiving if we see shortage of help with overflowing business, but I can assure you neither were the case this visit. Perhaps if you could ever see a manager, a supervisor or owner in the front of the house, issues such as this could be resolved and future business would continue. No one seems to cares at the Pie Pan but the declining revenue if I were a proprietor would prompt me to look into the cause and effect method. I will continue to share my views on such inexcusable no service /less than mediocre food practices at Pie Pan and will stay to my promise to avoid Pie Pan forever, along with our friends and family.

Axum Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 1279 E Hastings St, Vancouver

We ordered takeout and brought it home. My kitfo was perfect as usual. If this was only a kitfo order, it would get 5 stars. Unfortunately the kitfo couldn’t even save this review. We also ordered the vegetarian platter. My partner wasn’t really enjoying herself and I couldn’t understand why. I gave my partner a funny look because she reeked of cigarettes and she doesn’t smoke. I thought it was coming from our next door neighbor but my partner pointed to the food. I thought she was joking but I bent over and smelled it and yep, smelled like stale cigarettes and ashtray. I took a bite of her lentils and beans and yep….ashtray. I’ve smelled a lot of burnt food before and this didn’t smell burnt…it actually smelled like an ashtray and tasted like a stale cigarette. My partner’s burps all evening smelled like an ashtray and she said she felt nauseous. She ended up getting something else to eat for dinner and we set that platter aside. We smelled it the following day and it still smelled like ashtray. As you can see from the photo, there’s specks of black in her food. If you look at other photos of the same dishes, no black specks on it. I’ve never seen those black specks all over the food before and we’ve eaten here dozens of times. I’ve been eating here for years and never had this happen. I know what that platter should taste like and we have loved it every single time, except this time. Even if the food was “just” burnt, it’s unacceptable that it was given to us. I would have much preferred them tell us, “sorry we burned the food so we’re making you another one from scratch so it’ll take another 15-30 minutes” rather than letting us take home burnt/ashtray food. This is/was the best Ethiopian food in town. I’ve tried it at three other places and they simply don’t compare. But after the horrid, disgusting vegetarian platter we received, I can’t in good conscience ever come back here. I’ll miss the kitfo, the amazing homemade cheese that went with it, along with the usually delicious vegetarian platter, but I’m not spending my money on inedible food that should never have been served in the first place.

Black Thai Restaurant & Lounge – Menu with Prices – 710 Main St, Myrtle Beach

Amazing service and very good food. The portions were huge too, we got so much for our money. One thing that my partner and I liked is that they have reusable straws, so no waste at this place. Our server knew the menu inside and out, so he was able to help my partner order around her food restrictions. The appetizers were okay, but the entrees were amazing. The chicken satey was a little dry, in case you were wanting to try that and don’t like drier foods. Our main entrees were amazing, like I said. The rice was nice and moist, the vegetables were cooked just how i like them, and the beef/chicken was really tender. Presentation was pretty nice too, see the pictures of my entree below to get an idea. Depending the time of day, parking isn’t too bad. So far this is our favorite Thai place in the area, but we still have one more to try. If you’re looking for some good Thai close to the beach, definitely check this place out.

Pines Dinner Theatre Menu with Prices 448 N 17th St, Allentown

Went to the may24th performance of “Rock Around The Clock” while visiting relatives in the area. Wow! They hit top scores in every aspect, customer service, food and entertainment. In my experience most dinner theatres are hit or miss in one aspect or another without fail but not this place. The hosts an wait service was attentive an personable. Our table of four had each ordered a different dinner entry selection an all were delicious without complaints. Kudos to the band they did a great job! Worthy of another Wow!!! the entertainers individually are great, but as a group they solidified the whole show into a captivating elated experience to enjoy. We are already planning another visit this coming October an take in another show.

Milanos antojitos – Menu with Prices – 6917 Stall Rd, Charleston

I’ve been going here for 4 years now. You guys used to have someone that spoke English but now you don’t. I can’t even call and place my order. The lady that answer just says “no English” then hangs up. I have to go up there and hope that the lady understands me. Which means I’m not really getting the food i want. This is just so disappointing because your food is amazing. Please get someone at the register and at the phone that speaks English and Spanish. If you do I’ll change my review to five starts. Thanks

Bruno’s Ristorante – Menu with Prices – 9462 N MacArthur Blvd, Irving

Decided last minute to make a reservation for my birthday, read the reviews and it sounded promising ! When we arrived the restaurant was empty and I noticed they had a book that they wrote reservations in. I had an open table reservation and figured since the restaurant was empty and reservation system seemed paper based there was no need to tell them I had a reservation. We sat at a table at the window which was a way across the dining room. Halfway through our meal I could here what I assumed was the owner ranting about reservation NO SHOW. In a loud voice he continued to complain about reservations and how they didn’t show and how people are today … on and on and on. I tried not to let it interfere with our meal but his negatively complaining and booming voice finally got the best of me. When we were getting ready to leave I mentioned to our very kind waitress that I was the reservations and apologized that I didn’t check in but we did actually show up. She then said yes well he has been talking about it … well dear owner the problem wasn’t that you thought your reservation didn’t show the problem was you had no Patrons. Whatever your issues might be it should never be brought to the floor so that it effects your staff and patrons!
