11:30am on a Saturday is a great time to dine at Mulberry Street. We practically had the entire restaurant to ourselves and received superb service. Our wine and water glasses never sat empty. My sisters and I ordered the chicken fettuccine, chicken pomodoro, and a bottle of chilled chardonnay. The chicken was so incredibly tender! The spinach, tomatoes, and mushrooms tasted like they were freshly picked. The complimentary bread had a beautiful crust on the outside but was so deliciously soft on the inside. As if that weren’t enough, the prices were beyond reasonable – about $14 for each entree. That includes a soup or salad! I loved the blue cheese vinaigrette house dressing. My tastebuds can’t wait to come back! I recommend reservations for dinner because I’ve attempted to eat here twice before with no luck. Now I have first-hand knowledge as to why it’s difficult to get a table here after 5pm! There is a good sized bar serving up happy hour from 4-6pm M-Sat.

Vitale, Spa Café – Menu with Prices – 4012 Central Florida Pkwy, Orlando

Milestone birthday spa day. Went to the cafe for lunch. At first glance e it doesnt look like much but it was delightful. We ordered the lettuce wraps to start. I couldn’t decide between two dishes. The winning choice was the blue crab salad and omg it was on point. Fresh lump blue crab and a good portion too. Top that with Alvacado and lots of other yumminess plus a champagne vinaigrette dressing. I was full! Fiance ordered their burger and he said it truly was one of the best burgers. Very good portion and tender. I enjoyed a glass of wine with my salad. You can sit inside or outside OR lounge by the pool and have it brought to you. I am very happy that we went. Also so glad that this place is 5 minutes from the house. I may be in trouble now that I know what delicious goodness awaits.

Hundred North Bar & Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 100 N Gilbert Rd, Gilbert

Whiskey heaven but first the food. We had the wings which were grilled with dry rub then served with garlic ranch plus choice of bbq or some other sauce I can’t remember. Delish and not fatty or greasy. I sick with the garlic ranch. We got tri tip kebabs for the entree which were done to perfection with real tzatziki sauce and the yellow mideastern rice but wanted salad instead. They brought the salad within 5 minutes, out was fresh with quality greens, no romaine or iceberg. Fresh vinaigrette dressing. HUGE spirit list! Look how big this thing is! They own the liquor store next door. I got a house wine but hubs loved reading the list (15 minutes!) and ordered a whisky that smelled like campfire! He was impressed. They have so many whiskies! We will be back.

Diamond Back Downtown – Menu with Prices – 101 N Cherry St, Winston-Salem

I love this place. I walk downtown sometimes during lunch and stop here to get take-out. It’s in the Park Building and has “order at the counter” walk up service. Their food is truly gourmet. They have tables inside and some outside in the atrium. The wait is never too long. Their ingredients are so fresh and their sandwiches and salads are innovative and delicious. I love the Ciao Bella – grilled portabella, tomato, pesto aioli, provolone, organic mixed greens and balsamic vinaigrette. The Black Bean salad or Sesame Noodles make a great side. They have homemade soups every day. Their house salad is spectactular – figs, walnuts, blue cheese, etc. You also have the option to build your own salad or sandwich ($7.95 or $6.95 respectively). Great options like cranberry mayo, horseradish sour cream, pesto aioli, avocado, kalamatas, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, capers! They make your salad chopped with dressing on the side or they’ll load it in a big stainless steel bowl and toss it. Prices are good, food is outstanding, owners are really, really nice. Big fan.

Portuguese Bend Distilling – Menu with Prices – 300 The Promenade N, Long Beach

Portuguese Bend Distillery is a new restaurant in downtown Long Beach, just a few blocks north of the intersection of Long Beach Blvd. and Ocean. The restaurant adjacent to a craft distillery not only offers excellent libations but fantastic food as well. The restaurant is very casual. There is a full bar with quite a few seats, a large interior dining room with a mixture of seating options and a large umbrella shaded patio. While we had reservations on a Sunday evening, they were not really necessary but assured us that we had a table. The service is good, albeit somewhat absent with regard to follow-up and keeping those waters full. Fortunately, they are very knowledgeable about the menu and the cocktails. And those cocktails are delicious. DH had Satan’s Whiskers ($10), which is a spirit forward concoction of one of the house gins, Breckenridge Bitters, Punt e Mes and grapefruit cinnamon syrup. It was a very different cocktail – more like a whiskey sour than a gin based drink – and nothing like the historic cocktail bearing the same name. On the other hand, I had the Aviation ($10), which was perfection in a glass. The same house Dona Rosa gin was mixed with Maraschino liqueur, crème de Violette and lime juice. The drink was perfectly balanced – smooth with a slight tang. Easy to drink, despite how spirit forward it is. (I did crack up at the fact that there are at least two misspelled words on the menu in connection with the drink. Oh well.) While they will not be winning any spelling contests, they make an excellent salad. DH had the Fig and Blue salad with chicken added. Baby arugula was tossed in a mustard vinaigrette and topped with dried figs, bacon, blue cheese, roasted pinenuts and sliced, seasoned chicken breast. It was delicious with rich and sweet flavors cut by salty and tangy ones. I had the Kale Caesar, which was awesome! The chopped kale was a generous portion and was tossed in just the right amount of pepita dressing (no limp greens!). It was topped with sliced cherry tomatoes and sliced red onions as well as shaved Parmesan cheese and (at my request) half a dozen perfectly seasoned and cooked sweet, tail on shrimp. I loved every bite. The dressing tasted fresh, the shrimp were definitely fresh and well prepared, and the salad was perfectly balanced. DH and also enjoyed the tempura green beans, which were crunchy fried veg perfection. The creamy and slightly spicy (as in seasoned – not heat) “special sauce” was the perfect dip for the sweet and salty green beans. Our hosts also enjoyed their meals – another fig and blue salad and a very generous salmon entrée (the potatoes got rave reviews from both of them, which is good because there were a ton of them). It was a great spot to have a leisurely 2 hour dinner with friends. It was not so loud that you could not talk or so crowded that you felt you had to eat and run. It was a perfect place to enjoy a leisurely cocktail and meal.

Casserole 2 Go – Menu with Prices – 1208 Laurel St, Columbia

I got a grilled chicken salad for lunch and two medium frozen casseroles for dinner. The salad was really good, ingredients were fresh. Chicken tasty with a homemade vinaigrette dressing…at least I think it’s homemade…didn’t ask. The eggplant parmigiana and sheppard’s pie were awesome! Hubby and kids absolutely loved them! Very flavorful and tasty. I just let the casserole thaw then popped in oven. Voila! A great tasting homemade meal without the work! Thanks Casserole 2 Go! I’ll definitely be back for more! ð??ð???

Martin City Brewing Company Pizza & Taproom – Mission Farms – Menu with Prices – 4000 Indian Creek Pkwy, Overland Park

After an early football game at SMS we needed dinner so we popped into Martin City. They were packed at 6 and said it would be a thirty minute wait. We happily did so with beers in our hands. However that turned into a 45 minute wait. They were so apologetic though and that made it worth it. We sat outside and I recommend that weather permitting as it gets very loud and cramped inside. I went with the chicken pesto sandwich and it did not disappoint. The chicken is sliced thin and everything is toasted to perfection. I started with the Taste of Italy salad so I had no room for the potato chips but my daughters both loved them and took them home. Sounds like that happens a lot. The salad was one of the best I have had although a bit too much dressing so I would say ask for it on the side. My husband had the steak wrap and that was a show stopper. The tortilla is grilled crisp but I will say there is a lot of arugula so I would sub or avoid if you aren’t a fan. The service here is stellar. We were well taken care of and they were a packed house. My toddler thought her pizza was too hot so he offered to stick it in the fridge for us for a few minutes. He was so attentive to her and she was quite whiny that night. There is not a kids menu that I saw but you can build your own 8-inch for $8 base and add toppings for .$75. Prices are incredible for the area of town, especially the beer prices. Grab a t-shirt on your way in or out for only $15, super soft and fun designs. They also have a beer club you can join and get a 2 for 1 pass so be sure to get on their website and do that before you head out. Lots of other great perks.

Teriyaki Bowl – Menu with Prices – 4207 Gilman Ave W, Seattle

October 2017 My husband & I just recently began going to this place. So far we’ve been twice, & it’s been excellent both times! The chicken teriyaki is delicious, portions of both meat & rice were generous, & like so many other reviewers, we really enjoyed the salad as well. While it’s just iceberg lettuce, the dressing is yummy (on the lettuce as well as the rice), & it’s refreshing along with the entree. My husband LOVES their Ton Katsu! According to him, it’s the best he’s found in Seattle. We also tried the combo chicken & pork teriyaki, which is a VERY big portion (which is good as it’s more expensive) – basically it’s the regular chicken entree with a half portion of pork added in. They are super fast, too! We’ll be going here for some time to come!! – See my pics of the menu for current prices.

Perfect Pollo – Menu with Prices – 11503 Tidewater Trail, Fredericksburg

I placed an order for delivery on yelp that was serviced by Grubhub. It took about an hour to receive. My chicken was delicious–hot, tender, very tasty. The black beans were also very good. My salad was ruined because of the way Perfect Pollo packed my order. They put my hot chicken and cold, dressed salad in the same styrofoam box which was then put in a hot bag for delivery. The dressing was on my chicken which didn’t really bother me. My salad was basically cooked by the time it arrived. I was very much looking forward to the salad and it was inedible. I purchased a meal with two sides and it makes for an expensive dinner when you have to throw one of them away. I will definitely go to the restaurant because I loved the chicken, but am hesitant to order delivery again. Very disappointed because healthy delivery options are almost nonexistent in Fredericksburg. Was it just laziness or do they really think this is the best way to pack the salad? Pack the salad separately with dressing on the side and this would be a 5 star review!

30hop Cedar Rapids – Menu with Prices – 951 Blairs Ferry Rd NE, Cedar Rapids

I was really excited to eat here, but left really disappointed. For starters, there almost wasn’t enough parking. I watched people park in the neighboring business’s parking lot, which I was just not going to do. I eventually round a place and made my way to the door. There was a wait that day but since it was just two of us dining, we were given a seat right away. Now I hope that this doesn’t seem super petty, but I was given a low seat (short table, two chairs) and I had nowhere to put my purse. The chairs are rounded on the back so I had to set it on the sticky floor which I just didn’t love. Service was pretty darn good BUT, I think I had 3 different gentlemen help me that day. One took the order, another brought me food and another refilled my drink. My 3 stars comes from the food unfortunately. I got the wings, which unless I wanted a $26 steak, was about the only option outside of a salad that didn’t contain carbs. They were bone dry. I mean, I got one almost decent bite from each wing and the rest was dried skin and dried meat. They were not burnt in any way, so I know its simply the preparation and sending them back would have only resulted in an extended wait and the same dry outcome. Second, I ordered a side salad with blue cheese, which I got, but A- It was small for the price and B- it came pre-dressed with the plum dressing. I ordered the blue cheese dressing because I am completely unaware of the ingredients/nutritional info in the plum dressing. Lastly, the blue cheese dressing was as thin as water. It was very strange and didn’t really taste like blue cheese. My mothers tenderloin looked wonderful and I snagged a bite of her delicious sweet potato fry, but my lunch fell pretty short. Not saying I won’t go back… Hopefully I do and can come back here and write a raving review.

Sal’s Famous NY Pizza – Menu with Prices – 732 Eden Way N, Chesapeake

Sal’s in Greenbrier is consistently one of the better locations and our food tonight was no exception. Calzone w pepperoni, mushrooms and black olives for my guy. Chicken parmesan with spaghetti, the included garlic bread and side salad for me. I find the taste of mushrooms to be *insert gag sound* so I didn’t try his, but I’ve had other calzones here that were perfectly good. The chicken parm is adequate enough that I’ve also ordered it several times. (Haha) No, it isn’t THE best but it’s far from the worst. If I had to guess – the chicken comes frozen from the food distributor and the dish includes several thinner cutlets instead of one large whole breast. Either way, I always get at least 2 full meals from one entree. You also choose either spaghetti, penne or linguine for the pasta portion. I’ve only ever gotten the spaghetti. For those of you that care, the noodles are regular size – not thin or angel hair. The sauce is always pretty dang good and is a bit on the chunky tomato side which I love. My only issue was with the side salad. The lettuce was thinly sliced iceberg that you usually get on burgers and subs. That’s never acceptable to me in a salad. I’m not sure if their larger salad entrees offer different lettuces but I’d definitely inquire before ordering one. Also, the oil and vinegar dressing (tonight) was waaaayyyyy off. It was mostly oil with only a tinge of red wine vinegar so as you can imagine it tasted mostly like oil. Yuk! I ended up using some dressing from my fridge which was a bit annoying because I’ve enjoyed their O/V enough in the past that I even paid for an extra dressing tonight. Still not a big enough deal to ruin an otherwise good meal. FYI – all of my experiences here including tonight have been through the Yelp delivery feature on this app. Our food arrived 20 minutes later than the time frame quoted though it’s never been an issue on previous orders. I’ll definitely order again.

Nana thai & Teriyaki – Menu with Prices – 430 E 25th St #37, Tacoma

My boyfriend and I came to the Freight House Square area to get macarons from La Waffletz. However, we wanted to have a quick lunch. There were so many places to choose from but we settled on this Thai and teriyaki place. I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki and my boyfriend ordered the pad Thai. I believe it was $8.95 each and a bottle of water for $1. Good prices. We both love spicy food so he had ordered the pad Thai dish in 5 star spicy level. The wait time was average and we were excited to dig in. Let me start by saying the portion size is very generous. We were able to eat and become full with half the portion. My spicy chicken was good. The chicken wasn’t dry and had a nice spice level to it. Two very large scoops of rice lay beneath the chicken. It also came with a salad and a ranch base dressing on the side. I didn’t really care for the dressing but the chicken and lettuce together is also a good combination. My boyfriend didn’t like his pad Thai. He mentioned that the noodles were really wet and had an off taste. I tried some and agreed something was off. The noodles could have been stir fried a little longer so they could be softer and for more of the sauce to coat and absorb into them. We both agreed that we would definitely not order that dish again. Overall, it was an ok lunch. Really nothing to write home about. The staff was very friendly and I’d recommend to anyone looking for a big portion of average Asian food.

Bekâ??s Nizza Pizza Menu with Prices 965 W Lamar Blvd, Arlington

I came here with a friend for the first time and we ordered 2 single slices each and 2 different salads. It was enough for both of us since the slices are huge. Pizza slices: supreme, cheese, veggie lover(2) Salad: house salad and Nizza salad What I can say about our first experience is this: -interior was very cute -owner is kind -price was very affordable-slices we’re big, NY style -salad had amazing house vinaigrette but I would go with the house salad-it has more variety. The Nizza salad had a whole lot of mushrooms and cheese -store has a lot of delivery/Togo orders 3stars: -supreme pizza did not taste like a supreme. It was salty and dry -salad was a little disappointing but I expected a lot more variety in the salad -I’ve tasted better pizza for the same price -I wouldn’t be back if I craved pizza
