I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!! the owner is super amazing and beautiful inside and out! We came when it had opened and ordered the mango smoothie and dragonfruit smoothie and some jollof rice. We also bought some muesli! Mango: that was soooooo amazing!!!!!!!!!! Honestly juice it up and jamba and any other smoothie place I’ve hit up just can’t beat this smoothie it was like DAMN so fresh and refreshing and delicious. I decided it was my favorite when I took my first sip hehe. Dragonfruit: this was also good!!! Quite healthy and refreshing and it wasn’t too sweet either. Mango is just naturally sweeter but this was a good option too! Jollof rice: ok first off the incredible owner hooked it up when I told her I never tried jollof rice and she brought out an ample amount of sample for me to try! She is so generous! I loved it so much that I also ordered it! it made a good breakfast hehe. It has peas, carrots, onions, and a ton of flavor! It really does feel like a party in your mouth haha. It also does not contain meat so it’s good for vegetarians! The owner Lilia (omg I am so sorry if I misspelled your name!!) she is such a beautiful person so down to earth and friendly and caring she really was so generous offering me and my brother a ton of samples and even giving us gifts with the Muesli we bought!! she was just a perfect example of an awesome human. I really recommend anyone reading this to stop by and support this awesome business!!! Their food are reasonably priced and they were so tasty, healthy, and refreshing and you can really tell she is passionate about the food she creates. They even had a great point incentive system to have you redeem a free smoothie when you earn 9 points! I will FOR SURE be back when I’m in AZ again!!! Thanks Lilia for treating us with so much love and hospitality!

Hangs French Coffee & Smoothie – Menu with Prices – 1146 Fort Street Mall, Honolulu

I think I’m in love. I was in love from the first sip. How is it possible that a smoothie could be THAT delicious?! It’s no surprise since he uses fresh fruit. He doesn’t add ice cream or yogurt or anything to overwhelm your taste buds with harsh sweetness. If anything I think he adds condensed milk to some smoothies. I’ve only ever tried the fruity flavors — peach, pineapple, strawberry, and mango. My favorite must be Mango. This mango smoothie is so refreshing, delicious, creamy and perfectly sweet. If you like mango in the slightest way, you must try it. I can’t stress that enough. The sad part is that mango is seasonal so its available during the Summer months. So what to opt for if mango isn’t available? Peach and pineapple are my other favorite flavors. The peach flavor is so fresh, it tastes like you just bit into a peach. Omg, it’s heaven. Pineapple is just as fresh and has that nice sour/sweet flavor a pineapple has. You’ll never want it to end. It’s located in Fort Street Mall on the side where most of the other restaurants are. Parking can be brutal in downtown/Chinatown! My suggestion, go with another person so someone can drive/watch the car while the other goes and picks up some heaven. Oh and it is CASH ONLY. No problem – there’s a lot of banks and ATMs downtown ? If there was 10 stars to give, I wish I could give it to this place. There is no hype, no overrated reviews here. As their ratings says it all, this place is a MUST when it comes to fresh fruit smoothies. I guarantee you will be satisfied and feel feelings you never thought you’d ever feel from drinking a smoothie. **New Found Favorite: Cantaloupe. It’s not too sweet but incredibly fresh and refreshing to have. It has a more watery consistency (as does the fruit) but that does not take away anything from the flavor. TIP: Try to order WITHOUT pearls. It might just be preference but their smoothies are so flavorful, you wouldn’t want anything to disrupt or hinder your ability to taste the deliciousness of each smoothie — they deserve more than that.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe – Menu with Prices – 2380 Lifestyle Way Suite 140, Chattanooga

Healthy smoothies and healthy food… ahhh yes, please. Got to go to tropical smoothie on their opening day and was really happy and surprised by their quality and selection of food options. Really convenient to park especially because they’re one of the first businesses to open in a brand new center. I had a Cali Chicken Flatbread and a Chia Banana strawberry smoothie. Both of them were great and I definitely recommend them. I’m really glad that Tropical Smoothie has come to Chattanooga as I’ve heard lots about them from other people and glad to have an awesome healthier option that is so close to the highway!

Mama Gee’sTakeout Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 509 Beatties Ford Rd, Charlotte

I recently moved to Charlotte for school and I was feeling a little homesick, and one of my classmates was telling me that there was a local Ghanaian restaurant close by so we headed over here after our orientation. My friend had to call in ahead because it was a Saturday and they run out of food pretty quickly. I had jollof rice with tomato stew and chicken with a side of fried plantains, and I also had to get a bottle of Alvaro and Vita Milk just because. The food was amazing and the portions were really big, so it lasted me 2-3 days. The rice was really good and it definitely reminded me of my moms jollof rice which made it even better. A few things about this establishment: 1. You should definitely call ahead, especially on the weekends because they will run out of food. 2. It’s not really a sit down place so your order it automatically gonna be for to-go. 3. There’s not much parking. Overall, I will definitely be coming back here. Especially after my Saturday classes.

Fruitful Juice Company – Menu with Prices – 3255 W Hammer Ln ste 9-b, Stockton

We were craving for a really good smoothie today, which with the help of yelp we ended up finding this gem. As soon as we walked in the vibe was everything. Not to mention the customer service was out the roof AMAZING!!! The menu was a bit hard to understand at first but seeing how you can literally make anything your way, it makes sense. I got a mango banana smoothie with coconut milk and my boyfriend got a watermelon coconut smoothie with coconut milk as well, both drinks were to die for!!! This is an amazing hang out spot, from music to games they make it a place you wanna stay. So much that my two year old daughter CRIED when we were leaving cause she was just having so much fun. The plans the owner was telling us he had sound amazing and something we will definitely look forward to! I 100% would recommend this place to anyone!!! – we only tried the smoothies but I am looking forward to trying their bowls as well. One was made while we were there and it looked so fresh and delicious!

JuiceBar Juice – Menu with Prices – Norfolk

The JuiceBar is on the right corner of the student recreation center (SRC) once you enter the facility. Most of my classes are in the SRC so majority of my time at ODU is in this building. I normally chill in the seating area in front of the bar in between classes. There’s not a whole lot of seating but the couches are pretty comfy lol. I’ve gotten a smoothie here only twice and it was the Sweet Greens (mango, pineapple, banana, spinach and kale) both times. I get this simply because it has the greens nah mean? The smoothie was not bad, tasted a little too sugary for me but it was bearable. They also have a fridge with others drinks and some snacks like cliff bars and chips. I think it’s pretty cool that ODU planted a JuiceBar in the gym. It’s pretty convenient for students and dem gym rats to grab a protein shake or something fueling before or after their workout. At least we know that this school promotes healthy eating (healthy snacking rather). There’s not much good or bad I can say but definitely skip the Tropical Smoothie on campus and walk to the JuiceBar. It’s worth the walk..

Sweet Moments Cafe Menu with Prices 106 Pleasant Home Rd Suite 2A, Augusta

This past weekend at the Arts in the Heart festival I saw people walking around with these delicious smoothie drinks. I inquired and soon found out it was Bubble Tea and where I could purchase one. It tasted so good that as soon as I found a seat I Googled my location and low and behold SWEET MOMENTS popped up with awesome reviews and mouth watering photos. I knew I had to try this place out! Which is what I did! This is a nice little shop with dine in seating. The menu choices are Rolled ice cream with toppings of your choice- healthy and protein smoothies, wraps, spring rolls and several flavors of Bubble Tea. I chose Georgia Peach with strawberry bobo pearls that literally burst with flavor in your mouth. It was so very refreshing and good. If you’re a smoothie drinker I recommend you try because I will DEFINITELY be going back! Customer service was awesome!

Paradise Smoothie Menu with Prices 15255 George Oneal Rd, Baton Rouge

Ok so I was very skeptical trying this place out because smoothie king is good & consistent. When I walked in a really friendly man greeted me and I had zero idea what I wanted (as you know sometimes when your pregnant you want everything) he simply asked me my 3 favorite fruits. Easy! Strawberries mango & blackberries. I was in shock when he got fresh fruit from a fridge. I’ve never seen smoothie king do that. He asked if I wanted milk in it & I said yes please! Then I asked if I could have some jellies in it. The smoothie was huge & so damn good. For no extra sugar or anything added I was in shock. Come to find out the polite man working was the owner. Seriously he was so sweet and complimentary I feel like he should be working in sales. I will never go to smoothie king again. This is my new to go to place for smoothies and it’s such a plus because it’s right next to my house. Here comes my morning smoothie from now on

Sun Energy Smoothies – Menu with Prices – 2903 Central Ave Unit B, Charlotte

The BEST SMOOTHIE I’ve had and it makes my heart smile that to support local because Mr. Walter is AMAZING and SUPER NICE! I found this place one day when googling “smoothies near me” (fighting the craving of chocolate chip cookies #healthy) and I bookmarked this place to try it later. Maaaaaaaaan, listen! If I could only find all the words to explain the euphoria of my tastebuds! All of the smoothies are made fresh and made to order. The owner makes them himself so there is a touch of love in every sip. The quality and size of the smoothie only set me back around $7 for a Tropical Vibe (it gave me ALL the vibes)!! I hope to see you there because I will definitely be going back!

Emerald City Smoothie Menu with Prices 221 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue

We came here to get a smoothie, as Emerald City Smoothie recently relocated to Park Row in downtown Bellevue. Glad to have it in the area, as it provides healthier smoothies than any other smoothie spot around. We ordered a 32oz. Mango Berry smoothie to share, which is a good size for doing so. There’s also a 24oz. size option. In addition to smoothies, which you can customize to your liking, they offer acai bowls and other health products like supplements, protein powder, pre-workout mixes, etc… There was only one employee working on a Thursday late afternoon when we visited, so service was slow since there were a few customers waiting to get their smoothie. The shop here though is much better than its former downtown Bellevue location, offering more space, which allows for customers to hang out on the couch or at other seating options. I’m a fan of Emerald City Smoothie, so am glad they’ve reopened in downtown Bellevue. There are lots of healthy options here for smoothies, with some including whey protein or boosters. I like that you can customize any of the smoothies, to whatever fruit flavor, boosters, milk options, etc…you desire.

Planet Smoothie and Tasti D-Lite – Menu with Prices – 526 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica

Amazing smoothies, friendly service, very affordable! My girlfriend and I were shopping around the area and we were looking for something refreshing to drink before we left to go back home. This place happened to be exactly what we were craving and it was open later than everywhere else so we decided to stop by and pay for street parking. Drinks: Overall, they have a lot of healthy snacks (which I like a lot). They also have a wide variety of smoothies, juices, and frozen yogurt as well! I ended up getting the tropical smoothie with pineapple and leafy greens; I also opted for the large size and let me tell you, it’s LARGE. Definitely a hefty giant and well worth the price I paid for. The smoothie was bigger than my girlfriend’s head! lol Service: The two ladies working at the time were really friendly. One of them offered me free sample cups for the frozen yogurt and the other offered my girlfriend a free coupon upon receiving her drink! Overall, the smoothies tasted amazing. I like that they offer plant-based products for the customers that don’t taste like the bottom of a farmshed. The smoothie I had was almond milk based and tasted AMAZING. Definitely will be back next time we’re in Santa Monica!

Tropical Smoothie Cafe – Menu with Prices – 9524 Antioch Rd, Overland Park

This spot has been several things just in the decade I’ve lived behind the shopping center. I really hope this one sticks. I have been scoping out the more local healthy spots recently in preparation for the “lose weight” New Years resolution. I am super stoked that within walking distance of most of my favorite donut shops, there is now a smoothie bar. I ordered the orange ginger smoothie for some pep and I was not disappointed. One sip and my eyebrows went straight up towards my hairline. The smoothie should be renamed to Hello Ginger! But I love ginger and the ginger is why I wanted it (recent joint pain). So I am super pleased with my choice. The ladies working the counter were super nice, super fast, and my favorite part: they cleaned as they went. Nothing speaks more to my senses than people who know clean as they go. And smoothies especially because once smoothie debris starts to dry, it congeals like glue. The place still feels new so keep encouraging people to clean as they go otherwise the spiffy newness will go away real fast. I don’t want my healthy options to not feel so healthy anymore. If the restaurant and employees are not clean, then I have no reason to believe the ingredients are fresh. So…keep it up and I’ll see y’all soon!

B&Q Afro Root Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 4701 N Kenmore Ave, Chicago

The best Ogusi with fufu I’ve ever tasted. It was so flavorful with a hint of spice. You can choose up to three meats so I just chose 2 pcs goat and 1 fish, their fish was cod. I wanted to try the jollof rice so the owner was nice enough to let me have a sample portion cause I didn’t want to buy it as a side if I didn’t like it. It was okay; I prefer Ghanaian rice better, don’t come for me lol. My preference. I see that they have efo which I love, next time I have to get that. Their plantains are huge, 6pcs for $1. They have steam tilapia, not fried so make sure before you order. The decor and ambiance is very home like, their chairs are cushioned so it’s nice. Nice staff and service, would definitely be back.
