I was here a week ago when I was visiting friends in Boise, I popped in to grab a white Chocolate/Vanilla Latte ð???ð???!! I walked in and was promptly greeted by one of the sweetest, informative, and (if I may add) handsome â?º? Baristaâ??s Iâ??ve ever had the privilege to meet! After a few good minutes I learn that (Ben) is also from Phoenix, Arizona and recently laid down roots in Boise ð?? When you visit Moss, look for Ben.. heâ??ll be the one greeting you with the radiant smile and handing you the BEST cup of Joe youâ??ll find in the Gem State ð???!!

Weâ??ve been coming to JJâ??s for years. Youâ??re always greeted like youâ??re a regular. Fantastic breakfast and lunch menu. Great to eat outside on a nice day. We come here at least once every time we visit Scottsdale.

Pesto’s Pizza Shop Menu with Prices 5026, 7802 W Goddard Rd, Boise

I won’t make this a long one. Whenever I say that, it ends up being a novel, lol. I’m HUGE on finding great pizza spots in Boise because being from NY…Pizza is just in our blood, haha! And finding good pizza places outside anywhere in NY…is tough. And hello, Boise lol. So I’ve heard about how “amaaaazzziiiiiiing” this place is. That was definitely stretching the truth a bit. Is it good? Of course it is. Is it Boise’s best tho? Hell nah! Drive your ass over to NY Giant Pizza on Overland….THAT’S where you’ll find Boise’s LEGIT….BEST. PIZZA. Pesto’s is good tho and it’s a drive through pizza place. Kinda odd..especially if you’re alone, starving, but can’t eat a slice of pizza because ya know….you have to drive and all lol. Hell, we ordered and sat in the parking lot and that shit was still hard to eat and enjoy, haha! The concept is cool tho. I mean, I’m not sure what else to say. It’s decent pizza and if you’ve never been outside Idaho and Pesto’s is “the best pizza you’ve ever had” then, I feel sorry for ya’s because you’re missing out, hahaha! I’d put this place in like 4th or 5th best pizza in Boise…maybe 6th or 7th hahaha! Most who have tried it, love it. But I’m super picky with pizza because I know what good pizza tastes like. Anyway, give it a try ? You’ll enjoy it, but you’ll see what I mean ? Thanks every Yelperedtudes!! Cheers!

Dog Haus Scottsdale Quarter – Menu with Prices – 15257 N Scottsdale Rd Suite F1-155, Scottsdale

I first dined at Dog Haus with my girlfriend on a stop-off in Yuma after returning from a San Diego trip. Back then, this was the only Arizona-based Dog Haus in the entire state – and remained so for quite some time. I remember really liking the food, while poking a bit of fun at their setup of trying to hit virtually every millennial check-mark they could achieve. Alas, Dog Haus as finally expanded into Phoenix, a move that happened much later then I would have anticipated – especially given their popularity in California and current plans to open up in well . . . pretty much all over the country. Yes, it’s a franchised chain, but since they offer local craft beer (which I’m convinced is a legal requirement), most foodies will forgive this. Compared to the Yuma location, this spot is much smaller and feels more like a modern fast food restaurant and less like the whole “sports bar” type vibe they were shooting for in Yuma. Food wise, you have your dog creations and some burgers. My girlfriend ordered a Downtown, which she modified by replacing the peppers with pineapple. The kid running the register seemed baffled by this request, mumbling, “What?” – which is a word you’re never, ever supposed to say to a customer. I opted for a Chili the Kid, as well as a corn dog slider and tots to share. The dogs here are not bad by any means. I don’t think I made a good choice with mine, as I disliked the choice of cheese. Comparing them to a masterfully crafted dog you can obtain at a few of our locally owned spots? Not quite. The buns here remind me of what you’d find in a supermarket for some reason. Both tots and the corndog were fine, which are understandably hard to mess up. Five years ago, I might have rated this place higher – but we have some pretty great dog options in Phoenix that have opened up, resulting in my opinion of Dog Haus being a bit neutral. Drawing back to my Yuma memories, I actually recall their burger being very good, so perhaps that might be a better choice during a future visit. Check them out, nevertheless.

Saffron Indian Bar and Grill Menu with Prices 3300 S Vista Ave, Boise

We were visiting boise for vacation and decided to give this place a try as we were craving for indian food that had dosa options in Boise. Being from the bay area, we are used to plenty of good indian food choices and were not expecting much in boise. However, this place turned out to be a big hit. We ordered masala dosa, goat biriyani, mullagawatny soup and paper roast. All of them turned out to be better than our expectations and best part of it was our daughters who don’t eat much asked for more after tasting those dosas. The location, cleanliness, ambience, quality and service were all excellent. The hotel is located inside an upscale hotel in a nice big room with plenty of space. The utensils and food were of high quality and service excellent with quick response to our needs. KK was the one helping us and he made sure we were happy with the experience. We will definitely go back here while visiting Boise. Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting indian food in boise

La Pasadita Hot Dogs – Menu with Prices – 10650 W Indian School Rd, Phoenix

Q: What does a redneck consider a seven-course meal? A: A hot dog and a six pack of beer! Nothing screams, “great eats” like a semi-permanent food truck parked outside a tire shop. Welcome to Arizona! They have a storefront on 83rd Avenue and Indian School Road but this food truck is legit. They set up shop at 6:00 PM and are there until midnight on most night and are open until 2:00 AM on Friday and Saturday. Dogs are about $3 each. The Sinaloa, Arizona, and Sonora dogs are among my favorites. The Sinaloa has Ruffles on top. I mean c’mon! The Arizona is super cheesy which is also great. As for the Sonora, it’s an Arizona staple so you gotta get it. Wash it down with an ice cold apple soda and it’s a tasty meal. So if you need a quick bite to-go or in the mood for some grilled bacon-wrapped wieners nestled in a warm toasty bun, stop on by. Grab three and have yourself a wiener party! You’ll get a kick right in the mouthpants and have a mouthgasm!

Dawson Taylor Coffee Roasters Menu with Prices 1035 S Lusk St, Boise

My team works out of our Boise office twice a month and we typically stay at a hotel nearby, which is great because it is a short walk to Dawson Taylor. First time I had a coffee here I was blown away – they have coffee from all over the world, but the difference is in the flavors. I am not very educated on coffee drinking, but I can say the coffee I had here was so enjoyable, I told my team about it, and now we stop here every morning. They have a small selection of pastries and various toasts – which is fine, but not the reason I come here. I buy freshly ground coffee and bring it back home with me, and I intend to continue this routine for as long as I visit Boise. The other thing – if you’re looking for a place to work, yes, there is wifi, but there isn’t a ton of space, so just keep that in mind, as if it were to get busy, you would have trouble finding a place to sit.

Amici Pizza – Menu with Prices – 2023 W Guadalupe Rd, Mesa

I was very impressed as someone who grew up in jersey this is as close as I have had to east coast pizza in Arizona. I wish it was a little thinner which is a common problem here with places that think they are serving by style. It’s like someone taught pizza wrong in Arizona and the problem has persisted. Clearly they are using east coast ingredients you can taste it. I think these new owners have the right idea they are doing it right I highly recommend trying this place if you are looking for my pizza. They did a nice job on the remodel everything is very clean and it’s the only pizzaria that serves coke. On the east coast it’s a crime to eat pizza with a Pepsi. Try the cannoli if you want proof this place is legit. I challenged anyone to find a better cannoli in Arizona

Baseline Sports Pub – Menu with Prices – 1825 E Baseline Rd # 1, Tempe

Love this bar. First time I walked in there some bros welcomed me with an instant limbo competition. After about fifteen minutes on the dance floor is was time for some frosty beer. One of the bros from earlier offered to buy me a shot, which is always a great way to start your night. After about two hours of good drinks and great company the bros offered to give me a ride home on their rickshaw. We went back to their house and partied the night away. I may have left the great state of Arizona, but my heart will always be in the pub with my bros, dancing and drinking the night away.

Coffee Mill Menu with Prices 4979 E Warm Springs Ave, Boise

Coffee, Breakfast and service with a smile can all be found at Coffee Mill! This was our third visit. The location is super accessible for those who live in the Harris Ranch area as well as North East Boise area. Their coffee menu seems to be a bit limited although the beans used are very good. I’ve tried the fresh brewed coffee with a little bit of cream and it’s tasty. I’ve also tried the Bogus Basin latte drink along with other holiday flavors offered. They were wonderful as well. The pastries are from Gaston bakery, which is located in Boise – west Overland Road. They’ve never disappointed especially the ham and cheese croissant – yum… very good! They do offer other breakfast items, as well as a short lunch list of items to munch on. One thing that makes it great to visit over and over is the great service. Very friendly staff who help to get your day off to a wonderful start! A coffee stop for sure!! Thanks Coffee Mill – keep up the good work.

KRU on Mt. Meigs – Menu with Prices – 2118 Mt Meigs Rd, Montgomery

When I came here for the first time, my thoughts were “are these guys crazy?” A bar, set up like your cool uncle’s rec room, in this neighborhood? But I find myself drawn back time and time again simply because Kru is one of the most laid-back, comfortable bars around. I am far from a regular, but I am always made to feel very welcome here. I love the variety of seating options, especially the outdoor seating when the weather is nice. A diverse, laid back clientele virtually guarantees that you will meet someone interesting to talk with. In short, I love this place and just wish it was closer to my house.

Church of Sweden – Menu with Prices – 5 E 48th St, New York

Lovely place. I used to come here a lot when my office was around the corner. Nice place to chill. Library/ cafe on the ground floor sells strong Swedish coffee, cinnamon buns, “goodis” (swedish candy), smorgos ( open faced sandwiches) and even cans of beer. They also sell cute swedish nick knacks. The usually quiet atmosphere ( sometimes swedish mothers meet here with their children) , Its like a little slice of Sweden itself. The only difference is you can’t just waltz right in and claim asylum. You have to appear before a locked door and security camera and ring a buzzer to be let in. The swedish state could learn a thing or two from its small outpost in lawless midtown Manhattan.
