Stop here quite often when in town on casino trip. They honor my membership in Dunkirk, NY club. Always a friendly crowd, very nice drink prices, good kitchen, and great jukebox. Always have a great time. We love it!

Harrisburg Maennerchor – Menu with Prices – 221 North St, Harrisburg

Harrisburg’s oldest, private social club, it’s fun to stop down and see everyone. The drinks prices are pretty much unbeatable and I always say it might take you 10 minutes to get a drink when you first walk in, but that’s because you’re too busy saying hello to everyone rather than slow service. It is a private club, but those interested in membership can usually call or e-mail and get a tour, which often results in an offer to be sponsored. It can get a little smokey, but you can leave your coat in the coat closet by the front door and the Game Room tends to be less smokey than the bar. The Cathedral Room in the former sanctuary (the clubhouse used to be a church) is a really neat venue for parties. All in all, it’s a very charming part of Harrisburg’s history and a great place to hang out.

Sam’s Club Bakery – Menu with Prices – 6781 Grayson Rd, Harrisburg

I recently received a survey from Sam’s Club. I responded that I thought they had priced some of the products a bit too high recently. Someone from Sam’s emailed me to explain that they price “competitively” and they price match. I really don’t expect to have to “price match” at a store where I pay a membership fee. I expect their prices to be better than the local grocery store. One of the items hit with a recent price increase was Wright bacon. Yesterday, instead of going to a local grocery for a better deal, I grabbed a package while picking up other items at Sam’s. When I got home and separated the packs, I found the “use by” date hidden inside. The bacon expired the day before I bought it. I won’t be able to use the bacon by the date on the pack without the help of a time machine. Maybe they have one at Sam’s? I think Best Buy carries them, so maybe Sam’s will price match. It’s simple Sam’s Club…if you price the product too high, people won’t buy it and it expires. At least have the class to pull the expired food off the shelves. Update: The prices just keep going up. They’re not even trying to be a membership club now. Save your money, go to Costco. Update 2: Even the gas prices here are no longer any better than more convenient local gas stations. There really is no reason to pay a membership fee to belong to this store. Save money and shop elsewhere.

Copa Rocka Cantina – Menu with Prices – 3010 Sands Dr, Greensboro

Copa Rocka is a great strip club I defiantly recommend for everyone to come. They have amazing staff that protect the public. They monitor their crowd and donâ??t allow customers to get too intoxicated. I have yet to see violence in this club. They have attractive dancers! You will have amazing girls to choose from here and the prices are reasonable. The building is elegant, the crowd is sophisticated and business like. They donâ??t let just anyone walk in unless your dressed appropriate. Staff will always take great care of you. I love this place !

The Orleans – Menu with Prices – 4500 W Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas

I came back to gamble at the Orleans as I always do. I have been to this hotel and casino to gamble every time I’ve been to Las Vegas since it opened. I have stayed at this hotel more than any other except maybe the Stardust. I haven’t stayed there since 2006 however, this trip as also my last trip before that I’ve stayed at the Aria which is my new stay at place in Vegas before that it was the Bellagio. The Orleans is located about a half a mile or so west of the strip on West Tropicana Ave. it has a Mardi Gras theme and is a large Hotel and Casino. For some reason I really like this place. Since I have spent a million hours playing Blackjack here I have had an opportunity to chat with a lot of people. When I first started coming here after opening there were not a lot of crowds. This was a time when the strip was really booming and building major hotels and casinos. I think it being a little off the strip hurt it. I have personally met Larry the Cable Guy here and Debbie Reynolds here too years ago. Most of the people I met at the tables were in the beginning were locals who stayed away from the crowds on the strip. Now (2019) and over the last few years I see more and more tourists here. I also see the crowds. I never had to wait for a seat at a Blackjack table now in the afternoons and evenings I have to wait. But I don’t mind, I still like it. This trip my Orleans luck carries on and I won quite a bit of money. I had a great time. The dealer was great and the cocktail servers were great too. I roamed around a little to see some of the changes and an employee asked me is I was lost, I told her my history here and we talked about it, she has been at the Orleans over 20 years and it was fun talking about all the changes. They are getting more tourists and a younger crowd. Here is what I can tell you about the Orleans, it’s clean and big. 1,886 rooms and a 135,00 sq. ft gaming floor. The rooms are still a bargain as they have always been. The drink prices I can tell you are a hell of a lot cheaper than the Aria and the food is cheaper as well. If you like the strip they have a Shuttle that runs every 30 minutes to the Linq on the Strip and to the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino on West Flamingo Road just a criss the street from the Palms and also close to the Rio. There is a bowling alley with 70 lanes and movie theaters here, the Orleans Arena is here and it’s quite large almost 10,000 seats. I’ve seen the PBR (pro bull riding) and Mr. Olympia contest here. Ice hockey has been here before as well. There is a buffet which I enjoyed as well as several other nice restaurants and of course several nice bars too. I have been to and have taught classes at conferences here as well. So as you can see I have quite a history. If you’ve never need to the Orleans you should check it out. I can assure you I’ll be back on my next trip to Las Vegas and see if I can keep my Orleans winning streak up. Wish be luck.

Stagecoach Bar – Menu with Prices – 5111 Boulder Hwy, Las Vegas

If you’re into old school Las Vegas, I mean what Vegas used to be like… You will fall in love with this place! From the old school slots, (that still accept and pay out coin) to the wax figures all over the casino floor. They even have live bands, and a jukebox!

The Backlot – Menu with Prices – 209 10 Ave SW, Calgary

Lemme take you to a gay bar! Lol. Im not usually the type that would go to a gay bar, but I was visiting the city, so I just figured why not! In Calgary, you have like… 2(?) clubs/bars, and from what I’ve gathered, one is a sketchier club. So I decided I would go out on a limb and check out The Backlot. The entryway was a bit sketchy as it was kind of on the side of the building and in a dark alley. The establishment was nice overall, dimly light as most bars are, with quite friendly and welcoming bartenders. Got a drink with a friend and decided to sit in the corner of the patio to chat. People came and left, but it was quiet enough in the corner to carry a conversation without being heard by everyone. They do have an upstairs area that had a performer that night, but we never actually went up to take a look. The only other odd part for me was the open washroom where the urinals were. No door to get to the area, which is quite scary knowing someone could just come up behind and … I would prefer a door that leads into a washroom. A nice quieter bar to grab a drink with a friend(s) that is gay/straight friendly, but not exactly the ‘party’ place. Felt like it was an older crowd that was in attendance and not quite the place for a young man out on the town! Maybe head to that sketchy club? Lol

The Club, Inc Menu with Prices 1 Robert S Smith Dr, Birmingham

This was my 2nd trip to the view, but my first since becoming a Yelper and a member of The Club. Since it was so long ago, I will review from my most recent and memorable trip. With all of my family in town for various reasons, we decided to go ahead and celebrate my grandfather’s 90th birthday. After finding out our dining options were limited (The Signature is closed on Saturday nights… or at least this one in particular), we decided The View would be a nice option. The service was exceptional. Even though membership is still very recent, that is something that is pretty standard throughout the entire club. They hire amazing staff and train them well. Our table was ready when we got there and the amazing breads were brought quickly. A variety of options were selected around the table and I heard zero complaints from a family that would let you know if something wasn’t good. I opted for the beef tenderloin. It was cooked to my rare liking and the potatoes and vegetables it came with were also cooked to my liking. The beef itself was extremely tender and flavorful. Which I don’t always find with tenderloin. Only a couple of people got dessert and I tasted one bite. Absolutely fantastic. There were a couple of hiccups. The ramp for my grandparents are on the very far side of the restaurant. And the coffee I ordered came out ice cold. But that was remedied quickly. And those minor things couldn’t take away from the overall experience. Which was great.

Harpo’s Lounge Menu with Prices 2864 Deans Bridge Rd, Augusta

I have been here a few times since they have been opened. I mostly come on Fridays when the band, ATL DreamVision, is here. They are a pretty good band and showcase their talents all across the town. When the band is not here there is a Old School night going on. The music is Old School R&B and the drinks are pretty cheap. They are good when there is a good bartender. The lady bartender sucks!!! I don’t even know why they even hired her or pay her because she didn’t even know how to make a Shirley Temple, and that’s a pretty basic drink!!! The bathrooms are really nice here too. I like that they have a door to each stall in the bathroom for added privacy. This club hasn’t been opened but for a few months so they are still trying to gain a crowd. Before this club there was another club here and there was a fatal altercation which forced them to close and this business came to be. I enjoy myself when I come here so I can see myself coming more often.

Delaware Park Race Track – Menu with Prices – 777 Delaware Park Blvd, Wilmington

Good food, good music and some nice host. . But some of the people who are in charge of host and casino are rude and very controlling of everything. I have been a V.I.P. at this casino for years. Once Delaware park was a favorite of mine. As soon as I had inserted my players card into the slot machine I was playing. It would only be a few minutes and a host would approach me and ask me if I needed anything. Sometimes giving me up to 150 dollars food comp for myself and another to have a great meal on casino. They would invite me to events and dinners give us cruise line tickets and was always very nice to me and my guests. They made me feel like a V.I.P. But that was then. I don’t get invited to anything lately. I don’t get the cruises or gifts like before. And because the one in charge has put a note on my account that I am not allowed to even get a 10 dollar food comp without her approval. Now to me. Being a V.I.P. at Delaware park casino is not good like it once was. Now I feel that being a V.I.P at Delaware park casino makes me a target. Things need to change for the better. And I hear some of the other V.I.P.,s who are not happy with Delaware park casino also complaining a lot.

Chow Lucky Noodle Bar – Menu with Prices – 8882 170 St NW #2710, Edmonton

You’re going to have to work to find this one but depending on your food desires it might be worth it. Imbedded deep in the back of the newly renovated Starlight Casino – head to the poker room and take a sharp right at the slots. It’s a noodle house with dine in and take out options. Traditionally Chinese — this place features a range of meals from soups to chow mein with a kiss of Thai options for spice. The decor is warm, blonde woods with splashes of Asian colour. Nicely done and relatively quiet given that it’s in the middle of a Casino! I ordered the BBQ Pork wonton soup and watched as it was prepared in the open kitchen. Not sure about you but I like being able to see where my food is prepared — makes me feel safer. The soup is not inexpensive at $12 but it’s a good size bowl and filling. The broth itself is a bit bland but the noodles and BBQ pork were tasty. Satisfying and served with a smile. I’d give the place a try if you’re in the mall or in the casino. Not sure I’d make a special trip here but it’s a good alternative to some of the mall offerings and hey — it’s not a buffet! You’ll save 10% if you have a Casino card which is free at the front desk. The casino boasts three other restaurants- Match, Atlas and of course a buffet. I’ll try them all eventually. Stay tuned!

Chile Ristra Menu with Prices 11000 Broadway Blvd SE, Albuquerque

The Isleta Casino and Resort is a good bet for a fun night out. Check their website to see when the top headliners are appearing at the casino. Lots of fun slots including new 3D games throughout the venue. There are also numerous choices for grabbing a snack. Attached to the Casino is Embers Steak House, great food! Conveniently, it’s right off I-25 and rt 47.

Strawberry South – Menu with Prices – 48 S 7th St, Kansas City

I have been to this private club twice, once on a pub crawl and once with a member. I don’t know how to become a member and don’t plan to find out. Because it’s a private club smoking is allowed. Hey, that’s cool for them but not for me. After I quit so many years ago now I can’t be around smoke for longer than 10 minutes. The bartender has been nice each time I have been in. The customers are more like “what the heck?”. I’m ordering a Miller Lite and Jameson and they’re drinking Bud – not Bud Light – a true non light Budweiser and no one really has shots. I have been told it’s like the old beer bars of KCK when the alcohol of choice was beer only. If you’re a smoker and looking for a bar to drink and smoke in – this is your place. If you can get a membership card.
