This place has a terrible name to describe what they have. I have no idea why somebody named it that other than I thought the play on words was good. They have an unusual selection of ice cream and dessert filled crepes. This place is busy at certain times which is terrible because they are incredibly slow. This may be due to how long each item takes to make. Do not go here if you’re in a hurry, this is a place to take your time and enjoy the treats they have. They have rolled ice cream that they had mix on a slab and Crepes with flavors in them and Boba smoothies. Do not expect to spend just a little money because everything is expensive. So if you want a good treat and you’re willing to pay and wait you won’t be unhappy. Warning-if there are a bunch of people in the store do not be in a hurry. The people seem nice and I would hate for others to get mad at them because of the long wait that’s just how it is here.

OhBella Gelato & Crepe Cafe – Menu with Prices – 18585 Soledad Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita

I travel from San Gabriel Valley to eat here. Grade ‘A’ establishment. Great gelato, paninis, crepes (sweet or savory), great expresso, milk teas, and smoothies. Their prices are low compared to other competitors especially for the quality of food you get. Their paninis are better than Corner Bakery in my opinion. Their crepes are better than any I have had at any big chain restaurants. They have a wide variety of gelato so if u don’t see it on display, ask for different flavors. I love their smoothies and boba milk teas, not everyone knows how to make good boba pearls. Oh, and their establishment and restroom are always CLEAN. A definite must stop if you’re in the Santa Clarita area.

Look Up Dessert Cafe – Menu with Prices – 1032 Volvo Pkwy Suite 1, Chesapeake

I’ve always wished for a cafe that serves just desserts. All kinds of desserts, from cakes & cookies…to ice cream and smoothies. Imagine my delight when I found Look Up Cafe We have visited on multiple occasions since moving to the area and I wanted to wait to try different menu items before reviewing. They uses to have frozen yogurt once upon a time, but have replaced it with yummy blue bell ice cream which is better. Don’t get me wrong…I still love my froyo. Their cakes are moist and yummy. Our favorites are the matcha and pistachio. Their shaved ice is so so refreshing and unlike the traditional shave ice you may be used to. It is creamy and flavorful! Try the mango or coffee. Smoothies and Boba are good. The Boba pearls itself is a hit or miss, according to my son who is a self-proclaimed boba connoisseur. Last but not least…if nothing else, you have to treat yourself to the macarons. So many flavors to choose from!! And you can’t beat the price! Coming from Cali where they can cost as much as 4 each…these won’t break the bank. Also…they can package them in cute little containers that would make a thoughtful gift for someone who loves sweets. I wish they had some sort of loyalty card for people like me who frequent often. I believe they did in the past but no longer do. Oh and they are so friendly here! We really feel welcome as soon as we step through the doors

La Lecheria Downtown: New Mexico Craft Ice Cream – Menu with Prices – 101 W Marcy St, Santa Fe

My husband and I passed by this ice cream joint while strolling around downtown Santa Fe. The place and the flavor looked so inviting. We ordered the ice cream flight. It comes in 4 flavors. It was alright. I’ve had better organic ice cream with unique flavors. However, considering that I am in Santa Fe, I liked their green and red chile flavors. They don’t have that many flavor selections of ice cream. I didn’t think my experience in this place was very friendly. First, the girl that was helping was in a hurry. I felt like she wanted me to hurry up and pick my flavors. I haven’t been in this place before and I wanted to sample a few flavors. The sample size they give you to try was so small . This is probably the smallest sample of ice cream I’ve ever had in my life. I felt like she was so stingy! Seriously, the sample wasn’t even enough for me to taste the ice cream!! It’s that bad! So I sampled the green chile, peach and cardamom, and the miso red chile. I wanted to sample another one since I’m getting the ice cream flight. The girl then said, their max is only three samples. WHAT A JOKE?!!! Not only that, she was so stingy with the samples, she was also stingy with how many samples you get. WOW!!! The ice cream wasn’t all that. It’s not like a very popular place like Salt and Straw that they have to treat their customers bettet. I’m sorry I might be a little bit “extra”, but I’ve been to so many ice cream places that are way more friendly, gives generous samples and can sample as much as you want. I mean c’mon their max is three to try??!! Give me a break! I wouldn’t recommend this place to go for ice cream. Not only for their bad customer service and rules, but tlhe ice cream wasn’t that great. I would walk a couple blocks to go to Haagen Daz instead. Their ice cream is even way better!

Sweet Dreams – Menu with Prices – 3437 W University Ave, Gainesville

My favorite ice cream shop in Gainesville! Handmade with unique flavors, there is bound to be a flavor to satisfy your cravings! They swap out difference flavors daily, so I find myself trying new things upon each visit. I recently had a “Sweet Rice” flavored ice cream that surprisingly hit the spot! It was creamy and sweet with a subtle rice flavor that made it feel homey. This may sound unappetizing, but my friend and I found it delicious! The service is pretty fast and I find the employees to be typically friendly. I especially love that I don’t have to spend a lot of money on ice cream (compared to much more expensive ColdStone) and that it’s typically only a few bucks. I recommend coming in early since a lot of the popular flavors tend to run out during the middle of the day.

ÉgaliTea Organic Café – Menu with Prices – 248 Newbury St, Boston

I stopped by this place twice because I’m around the area frequently. The place is very nicely decorated, clean, modern and stylish. Everything they offer Ed seems to be organic or some sort of items that are gentle/healthy for the body. I wanted to try their tea ice cream, but the first time I wasn’t able to get any because the barista told me the ice cream was frozen too hard to be scooped out. The second time I stopped by, I asked if I could try 2 flavors first before buying because I wasn’t sure what to get (and they had 4 flavors of tea ice cream). I was kind of bummed the lady cut me a little short saying she could just give me those 2 scoops for my order (I guess..I wished she didn’t cut me short so I could really decide which flavors i wanted to spend my money on rather than deciding to go ahead and buy something I don’t know would be my preference). I ended up getting the Jasmine and Assam tea ice cream and thought they tasted good. Fo $6.95 though the portion is a little small..but I guess because I never tried those 2 flavors in the form of ice cream before…it was somewhat reasonable for me to spend just to try them. Overall, a decent place to enjoy your quiet afternoon with friends. It’s a little pricey here for the items you see on their menu board…but it’s a prime spot in Newbury…so…I don’t think it’s completely unreasonable either.

Crêpes For U – Menu with Prices – 218 Legacy Dr, Plano

I’ve been coming here for 5 years now. Still is and will forever be my favorite crepes place. Here’s why: Paul, the owner and the one making all the crepes, is the sweetest human being on this planet ever. He’s so patient and takes so much care into ensuring that each crepe is made to perfection. Their crepes are soo delicious too. I’ve asked Paul to make my crepes slightly more crispy and he’s always been more than willing to accommodate. My go-to order is the Kiki’s special – it’s with fresh banana, whipped cream, hazelnut chocolate sauce drizzle and a scoop of ice cream (you get to choose the flavor!) Yes, their hours of operation are a hit or miss, sometimes. But that’s the beauty of an independently-owned business – they can take a break whenever they want! This crepes shop is located inside the grocery market and is conveniently located next to Mitsuwa and also a food court as well. It’s a great area to just hang out with friends and eat some delicious asian food/snacks. I love Crepes 4 U. I will always be recommending this place to my friends and to anyone that is a fellow crepe-lover.

SomiSomi Soft Serve & Taiyaki – Menu with Prices – 23330 Grand Cir Blvd Suite 150, Katy

With Houston getting more and more boba shops, it’s only necessary to add ice cream shops too right? I love that Somi Somi is tucked away in Katy Asia Town and its only a 15 minute drive from my job! Compared to Bae, Aqua S, and Sul BingSu, I feel like Somi Somi will give them a run for their money! Within the area, I like how Somi Somi offers different flavors and change out their ice cream swirls ever so often. I’m usually not an ice cream person, but Somi Somi has won me over. Aqua S is decent and Bae is decent too. Bing Su doesn’t even compare to Somi Somi, so I’d recommend you all give this establishment a shot! Flavors: on different occasions, I’ve gotten their ah-bong which is the taiyaki ice cream filled with your choice of filling (red bean, cheddar, taro, custard, nutella and red bean/cream cheese). The first time I went, I ordered the milk tea & matcha ah-bong (upside down of course, so they put it in a cup with the fish on top). IT WAS SUCH AN AMAZING FLAVOR and the filling I got was custard (I’m a sucker for custard filling desserts so this won me over). The second time I went, I ordered the black sea same and milk tea ah bong, upside down and custard filling. Every visit I’ve had, I’ve never had a bad experience here and they’re going to be here for awhile! Can’t wait to see what other rotational flavors and seasonal flavors they will have here! Nekter Juice Bar – Menu with Prices – 32068 Temecula Pkwy STE 100, Temecula

Save yourself the time, money, and frustration and skip this place. Never have I felt this way about any establishment, but if I could give zero stars this would be the one. I went in on a random weekday afternoon, there was maybe two guests in front of us waiting patiently for their smoothie when we first arrived. We placed our order, staff was friendly at this point, and went to go sit and wait. After watching every person who ordered after us get their drinks, and after sitting for close to 45 minutes, while neither my party nor the ladies in front of us received a single drink. After waiting and realizing the staff wasn’t making our drinks ever, I finally went up to inquire about our smoothies. To which the staff member told me “I’ll be right with you to take your order” meaning my smoothies were A.) not being made, and B.) where never going to be made considering this staff member literally had no recollection my myself or my large order. After waiting for almost an hour, the staff then inform me they “forgot my ticket” and have to use my receipt to even see what I ordered, and at this point they tell me they will get to my smoothies “right after this order”. At this point I had been waiting for 4 smoothies, which I paid $10 a piece for, with over an hour wait and no sign of a sorry of any sort. Apologies, but no smoothie is worth $10 AND over an hour wait. I told him at this point, no thank you I have other plans, please just issue me a refund. This is where customer service skills would have come in handy, however the staff then processed to get rude and snappy, talking about how they didn’t know how to process a refund so they had to go make a call. 20 minutes later, a different employee emerges, and gives me cash back for two smoothies, no tax included, and tells me have a great day. At this time I had been waiting for over an hour, so I forfeited my money and left. If that tells you anything of how awful this experience was, I literally walked out paying for smoothies I didn’t even receive just to be able to leave that place. I don’t know why this location is so terrible, I have been to numerous Nekter’s with fantastic experiences, but please save yourself some money (literally) and avoid this location at all costs.

Cafe Marcel Creperie & Espresso Bar – Menu with Prices – 2281 N Oracle Rd, Tucson

I stopped for breakfast here on this morning on a whim, and I’m so glad I did! It’s a cozy, casual little breakfast spot serving crepes and coffee. The menu is limited — crepes only! — so only come here if you’re definitely in the mood for crepes. This is definitely a case of doing only one thing and doing it very well, though. They do both savory and sweet crepes, which will likely be able to satisfy people all along the savory vs. sweet breakfast spectrum. I got the “Stuffed Frenchie,” which straddles the sweet-savory line by combining egg and brie inside the crepe, and then being topped with cinnamon, maple syrup, strawberries, and whipped cream. I also added bacon at the suggestion of the woman working the counter, and it was a great addition. My breakfast companion got the “Olivia,” which is their most popular crepe. It’s strawberry and Nutella, topped with chocolate, granola, powdered sugar, and whipped cream. She also added banana to it. Both crepes were very good — the Stuffed Frenchie felt more like a solid breakfast, while the Olivia felt like a decadent dessert. Cafe Marcel also has an assortment of tea and coffee drinks, including a delicious nutella mocha. It’s a great pairing with the Olivia!

Habibi Lounge Menu with Prices 3124 S Parker Rd, Aurora

Finally, a hookah bar that is clean! Habibi is a perfect example of a hookah bar that does it right. As soon as you walk in, you’ll notice the classy decor and comfortable seating. Another plus, this place is well ventilated so you won’t feel like you’re sitting in a cloud while you spend your time there. The hookahs are clean and never harsh tasting due to the diligence of the staff keeping the coals hot and ready for you. They have a variety of attachments and different hookahs you can smoke from, each one is fantastic! Now, on to the food!! The black tea goes exceptionally well with your smoking experience. And the crepes…..oh my the crepes! I’ve only had one so far, which was the Roast Beef Crepe and it was delicious! Never have I had a savory crepe before, but this was amazing and satisfying. The crepes are big enough for two people to share if you’re not ravenously hungry. Overall, from the cleanliness of the lounge area to the professionalism and courteous staff, I would say this is the best Hookah Bar in Denver by a Mile and I will definitely be coming back again and again!

Palacsinta LLC Menu with Prices 1404 McLendon Ave NE, Atlanta

On our way back from our Florida road trip we wanted to stop by Palacsinta for a Hungarian treat. Since I am from Europe and have Hungarian roots this place and Maria were a special find. It was nice to be able to use my rusty Hungarian and have someone to talk to. Maria explained that over the months people have requested baked goods more so than crepes and her store has turned into a bakery instead. She still prepares crepes for private parties, however. She gave us some samples and the cheesecake was delicious! I was hoping for some savory/sweet crepes to fill us up though, so that was a little disappointing. It is interesting to note that she also mentioned that Hungarians do not tend to seek out her establishment, but that her clientele is mostly Americans and Europeans. We did end up buying one of the plum pastries and I had it for breakfast the next day. Yum! I do wish I lived closer to Atlanta to be able to stop by for a visit more often.
