I have been coming to Medina market for over 10 years been a very loyal customer… Now under new management this place is very poorly managed.. the new owner is very unprofessional rude and dishonest.. sells you goat when you want lamb.. weighed the meat with fat on it and then cleans it not knowing what the leftovers are used in…the manger got into in argument with a family member and now he refuses to help anyone that is associated with him… I feel like that’s very poor judgement from the owner… so childish… why are you making everyone else look bad because of one person… Band him why take it out on everyone… I wish this happens to you or someone in your family… making people feel like they did something wrong when we have giving you so much respect … greeted you welcomed you to this neighborhood and all this management has given us is rudeness and disrespect… Shame to the new management of Medina Halal Market,,,, I hope you grow up fast because your actions make you look like a man with no morals or values…..how would this make you feel…grow some balls and don’t hate on everyone else because one person hurt your feelings….Zero stars on management skills and a negative zero star on customer service maybe you should take classes on how to treat your customers and how to be a owner of a business….

Creme de la Creme Cafe – Menu with Prices – 4080 Lemon St, Riverside

Please don’t not support this business. Management + ownership is terrible. Their manager at this location DARAMI DAM has actually scolded & yelled at employees in front of customer & I’ve seen it for myself. When I finally got in contact with the owner to inform him about what had occurred in his restaurant his reaction was so nonchalant, as if he had been aware of this guys behavior. Their pastries are always frozen and molded. one of the employees informed me that they keep the same pastries in the display case for weeks! This place use to actual be decent before they brought over new management & a whole new staff. The Ownes’s JOE AND JULIE DIBENDETTO are 100% opportunists, Joe is a jerk who treats his employees like peasants and Julie hides behind his decisions but in reality is just as guilty for her actions. There are so many other bakeries/cafes go too. I encourage you all to support businesses that actually know how to properly run a business (:

Lil Zeus Food Truck – Menu with Prices – 112 W 50th St, New York

I don’t understand all the hype behind Halal Guys when you have a far superior product with Lil Zeus. I probably get food here at least twice a week and have fully abandoned Halal Guys. First off, Halal Guys white sauce is laced with so much mayo its not even anything close to resembling a tzatziki…2nd, Halal Guys hot sauce is so bloody hot you can’t taste what you are eating. Finally Halal Guys shreds the meat to such granular pieces, its like you’re eating dog food. at Lil Zeus you have none of those problems. The lamb meat is the typical donair kebab type (sausage/semi processed style) while their chicken is legit, cooked souvlaki style. The guys running this truck are friendly guys and they work hard to keep the line moving. Why didn’t i give it a full 5 stars? well the salad isn’t entirely greek as they used shredded iceberg lettuce as a primary filler instead of the green peppers, red onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, big blocks of feta + olives and oregano you see with regular Greek salads. Overall, the pricing is very fair for the portion size and its pretty delicious. Most importantly, this place puts Halal Guys to shame. Seriously…how can you squirt mayo all over meat that’s been pulverized into pebble like pieces?

75 Deli & Grocery – Menu with Prices – 75-02 Jamaica Ave, Jamaica

Honestly, this deli promotes their food being â??halalâ? but it is NOT. It is not Zabiha. I asked if they slaughter the meat in the name of Allah and they said yes. Meanwhile, you can check their meat thatâ??s stacked on the fridge near the cooking area. The meat is from a company thatâ??s not even labeled Halal. When I asked another time if itâ??s halal/zabiha, they said â??yes it is, itâ??s not porkâ?. Well duh itâ??s not pork but just because itâ??s not pork, doesnâ??t mean itâ??s cut in the halal zabiha way. Itâ??s disappointing how they renovated their place, putting Halal signs on their windows. Itâ??s false advertisements and itâ??s sad that some Muslims probably ate the sandwiches thinking itâ??s halal but definitely not!

The Circle Long Beach Dispensary – Menu with Prices – 1755 Ximeno Ave, Long Beach

PROS: The entire facility is clean, very spacious and their merchandising/display is well organized (far superior to any of the other dispensaries I’ve tried). The staff members at the front desk and on the sales floor are very warm and enthusiastic about helping you select the right products. I especially love their Care By Design CBD soft gels, which are excellent for managing insomnia, inflammation, and pain related to autoimmune disorders. They have their own parking lot, and there is ample parking in neighboring lots and on the street. SOME KINKS & QUIRKS: I do feel they could improve their customer service in terms of follow through and troubleshooting issues/questions, and, it seems they are almost always out of stock when I want to purchase a specific item – so, they may need to improve their inventory controls to better match demand and provide customers with ETA’s as to when a product will be back in stock. Last August, they were out of the gel pills I normally buy, and the sales person could not tell me – nor did she attempt to look into – when the pills would be back in stock. I asked if she had any idea and she replied, “No, but keep checking back with us!” I asked if it was possible for them to follow up with me (a reasonable request), once the pills were in stock. She grabbed a ruled notepad and asked me to add my info to a hand-written list of customer names and numbers. I guess they don’t have an automated CRM yet, which was surprising to me, given the corporate look and feel of their store. What bothered me most was not receiving the promised follow up call when the new shipment of gel pills came in – instead, I had to swing by in person to check, and lucked out two weeks later (purchased a huge amount in anticipation they would run out again). It seems they can handle basic transactions, but do not have all the aspects of business management in place: customer relationship management, proper/thorough sales training, inventory control, etc. These are all fixable issues. NOTES ABOUT POINT OF SALE: 1) While it’s not a total deal breaker, they do add a 4% fee to use your debit/credit card. 2) Some of their cashiers tend to be sullen and rude (no eye contact, zero smiles), which is an odd way to end the shopping experience, after being treated like a valued customer by their reception and sales staff. 3) Your bank statement may show charges made to your debit/credit card by “Halo TST, Inc.” with no reference whatsoever to “The Circle” but between our past receipts and making a few calls, we confirmed that “Halo TST, Inc.” installs their point of sale machines. Mystery solved. I’m routing for The Circle, even with the issues I’ve encountered. I hope they listen to constructive customer feedback, and continue to grow and improve.

Aci Halal Meat & Turkish Restaurant Menu with Prices 34 N 2nd St, Allentown

I have lost count of how many times I have eaten at Aci Halal. It’s a family place, the pace is comfortable and the food reliable. Atmosphere definitely informal and family oriented. Not fancy, very plain and attached to a modest mid-east market with a well thought out inventory. Value for the money I think is very good, not to mention the care taken for Halal sourcing and preparation.Typically my wife and I order a sampling of appetizers, hummus, babbaghanouj, tabouli and definitely the Shepard’s salad with or without feta cheese. The vegetarian selections are really good. My favorite is the Pilaki, a flavorful vegetable stew largely white beans, carrots and potatoes with other accents. My wife craves the Imam Bayildi, a split eggplant stuffed with aromatic vegetables. I prefer the Patlican Soslu which is fried eggplant in a tomato and pepper sauce. All that aside my absolute favorite is a dish that I have yet to find elsewhere. It’s Tavuk Pirzola – Chicken Chops. It’s basically a stripped chicken thigh cut to present as a chop, the bone used as its ‘handle.’ Balanced seasoning, not too salty or peppery. The food served is Halal. To the best of my knowledge the beef is purchased on the hoof from the Lancaster area and butchered in nearby Coopersburg according to Halal tradition. Halal I believe is all but identical to Kosher with only a slight difference in the way a steer is processed.Best of all I appreciate the family who operates the restaurant. They are warm and friendly and just plain good people. I look forward to greeting Seyda and Ibo, though Seyda is away for awhile. It is not unusual to chat with other tables as the hospitality of the restaurant is a constant. Great vibe.Save room for the excellent Baklava. The hot tea is exceptional. Aci Halal is one of the few places I order hot tea in any kind of weather. Be warned however, any more than 2 cups and you’re up for the rest of the night.Aci Halal has my solid recommendation.

Cardona’s Market Menu with Prices 340 Delaware Ave, Albany

To the girl with a noise piercing working the register around 3pm on Friday, June 14th: My 75 year old mother went to your market to pick up the $700 in food she had ordered to host my brother’s wedding rehearsal. She’s been very stressed about the dinner because she was sick all week and even went to the ER several times. 2 days prior, she found out her cancer was back. Although we told her to stay home and rest, she thought it was important to go pick up the food with my nephews. She walked up for the register for help and rather than explain to her that there was a line for catering pick up, you thought it would be appropriate to snap at her. You told her you wouldn’t help her. You told her she needed to wait in line like everyone else. You made her feel dumb. And then you snidely complained to another customer in front of her about how stressed you were because people couldn’t follow instructions. The information about what transpired that day comes from my 13 and 18 year old nephews. They could not believe how rude and disrespectful you were and regret not standing up to you and allowing you to speak that way. You added unnecessary stress to a woman already at her limit. I hope you are not an example of how Cardona’s Market treats all of their customers. And I will add this situation occurred after there was already a debacle with the order because your system erroneously bumped the order up one month. You had already caused additional stress by charging my mother’s card a month early and calling her on May 14th asking why she didn’t pick up her order. Based on your customer service and the horrible way you treated my mother, I nor anyone in my family will step into your market again. Shame on you.

Cogburn’s Big Wings – Menu with Prices – 110 S Val Vista Dr, Gilbert

Writing this after a friend visited…I write for a small restaurant review…which do to my job must remain unknown. After listening in on 2 conversations today one very unprofessional and the other very professional….I assume Charles is more than a manager for this small business…he handled a minor incident with the utmost care… I find that in this day and age customer service is of the utmost importance. With that being said the other young man (Jeff) needs some manager customer service training skills. First and foremost you never argue or change your tone of voice. Always remember the customer is always right. Even if you feel the problem is minor in your eyes. When a customer complains about food or service take the time to rectify the situation then not after the fact. Correctly ask the customer what would make them happy right then. All managers have that authority to make a customer happy. Remember word of mouth can make or harm a business. Charles I feel understood that issue. If a customer has to repeat themselves over and over to said manager then that person should not be in management. Always make a customer happy whatever it takes. I took the time to read several reviews on this location and some were excellent and too many were 1 star. Being in this business for several years I have in my career ran across well run and very poorly ran restaurants. Being this is a new location for this company you can not run it poorly. To upset a customer and feel you cannot take care of it without contacting the owner is detrimental to a good working relationship. I feel Charles will take care if this problem, hopefully with out taking it out on the customer, in a manner to make them want to come back and tell their friend’s what a great place they found. Otherwise they will tell 10 people and those 10 people will tell 10 more…no owner in this day can afford bad press. So I say to Cogburns please take care of your customer base, go the extra mile to make them happy…do not demean them on the phone…assume always your position in management is to care about your customer’s, not to assume who cares if they never come back. Again Charles I listened to both conversations and found yours was professional….Thank you Duke

Fast & Easy – Menu with Prices – 2101 El Camino Ave, Sacramento

The people who work here try very hard to keep the business alive. I really do recommend this place, as it would really help a small business like this to grow and help the employees. One cool thing about this business is that it is family run, by brothers, cousins, and friends. My dad is also one of the managers of the place. Fast and Easy is a small business trying to thrive, and I really do hope you go here, as you will be making helping the hard workers.

Habibi Halal Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 2614 Main St, Buffalo

5/4/2019 – If you’re in the mood for great customer service, and even better food, then Habibi Halal Restaurant is the place to visit. I visited Habibi Halal for the first time on 5/3/2019. Walking into the establishment, I didn’t know what to expect. The owner immediately extended a warm greeting and directed me to the menu. He seemed very genuine in his demeanor, and made me feel right at home. I played it safe and ordered the Koftah and the Beef Galaba. While waiting for those dishes to be prepared, I decided to throw in the Chicken Galaba. I also ordered the Lamb Chops as a side dish (with no rice). My order was to take home, not to dine in. There was ample room to dine in, and a visual inspection of the tables, bathroom (which surprisingly smelled nice), and kitchen revealed that all were clean; albeit in need of minor organizing. Now, on to the fun part. When I got home, each mouthful made me realize the potential of Habibi Halal. The Chicken and Beef Galaba were succulent and moist. The rice was well cooked, the salad crisp, and the chutney (side sauce) was HOT! All of the dishes were made of high quality ingredients, and the meats were fresh. I began the meal thinking that the Koftah would be the best. I was wrong. The Koftah was really good, but in my opinion, the Lamb Chops were the star of my entire order. I would highly recommend the Lamb Chops. They were fresh, juicy, and flavorful. I ate so many Lamb Chops I lost count! Overall, based on the impressive food and excellent customer service, I believe that Habibi Halal will see much success once they become known. I encourage you to visit them and see for yourself. Why take my word for it?

Jingdu Japanese Buffet – Menu with Prices – 13300 S Cleveland Ave, Fort Myers

Not sure if ownership changed a few months back but things seem to be going downhill a bit. Sushi prepares are not on the balm with long waits for food to be set out. Ask them while they are talking or on their phones and they pretend to not understand English. On top of this they obviously have a chip on their shoulders and seem to dislike their customers. Other places out there! 08/19 last time for this place. It’s a shame. Must be new management or ownership. It is going downhill fast. The guys that are making the sushi suck. Nothing is ever available, and when you ask them for something they just stare at you blankly as if they don’t understand. I told the manager, and he too didn’t respond very quickly just asked the sushi boy to make me what I had requested. It’s a shame, because it was the same place. I predict it will be closed within a year.

Baba’s Steak And lemonade – Menu with Prices – 3205 E State Blvd, Fort Wayne

So the employees of this place treat their customers like s***. Majority of the customers wouldnâ??t know this as they donâ??t understand the language these people speak. My husband and I speak the same language as one of their employees who didnâ??t know the fact. We had placed an order on the phone which they hadnâ??t received. There are two restaurants with the same name in the area and we happened to place the order at the other one. So this guy calls this other place which is probably owned by the same person. So he calls there, tells them that the customer they were expecting is here, using extremely filthy language, using swear words in their language for god knows why. My husband Starts talking to him in his language and asks about swearing and all, this guy starts tripping and lying n all. So just fyi, these people may smile in your face and greet, they are still making fun of you, cursing and commenting on you either behind your back or right in your face in their language. SHAME on the management team and the ownership who let this happen.

Zito Pizzeria and Grill – Menu with Prices – 3030 Healy Dr, Winston-Salem

Zito’s (I’m just a customer) To all those people that have complained about the hours of operation or the hours of operation on the door not being correct. Allow me to give you some background. Zito’s is family owned and I really do mean family. Dad, mum, brother and sister. The family had a tragic accident where they lost their father…..again the circumstances of his death was tragic (sort of stuff you see in a movie and cry). This incident shook the family and it took them sometime to grieve and reset themselves. The daughter has taken the restaurant over, made some changes and re-opened in honor of her late dad and family. It was during this time that the hours of operation were inconsistent. Now obviously not everyone new about this, which brings me to my second point. Ratings we give locally owned businesses….and I do mean locally owned. I have no issue anyone giving the big chain restaurants a bad rating for food quality, service etc. These big chains don’t rely on one specific location for their overall income. This is not the same for individually owned local businesses. Before giving a “forever” rating online that can “forever” damage a local business do them and yourself a favor and complain in person to the proprietor. I will assure you more often than not you will feel better and get a real solution for yourself, while allowing the local business owner to fix an issue and continue to grow their business. Having locally owned businesses in our community is so important to the success of our community. The money stays in our city and is invested back into our community. Support your local businesses or be happy with big chains and Walmart……it’s up to you.
