I honestly don’t know where this place gets the 5 stars from. We were driving from LA and we were craving some mariscos, and I decided to try this place out because somehow it had 5 stars. I don’t mind that is a truck but I kind that the shrimp was all gross and it wasn’t cleaned. Also the fish ceviche was old AF. The aguachile had me like wtf is this. I’m sorry this place just isn’t 5 stars worthy.

Mariscos Los Chavalones Mexican Restaurant Menu with Prices 2751 W Lincoln Ave #6332, Anaheim

Hubby and I came here with a huge craving for Ceviche and other mariscos. First off, they have musicians come to play loud music! So loud that I couldn’t have a conversation without yelling. Mind you, my husband is hard of hearing and even he said it was loud! We ordered Ceviche and two Marlin tacos. The Ceviche was sour as heck and it had more veggies than shrimp and octopus. The tacos were aight but not worth the $4.50 per taco! We also ordered fried fish tacos and a shrimp taco…. O.o Oh LAWD!! They not only took forever to make them, but when they finally got to our table they were cold and the shrimp taco had a medium breaded shrimp cut in half with tons of veggies on top! I was about to snap and send them back, but hubby calmed me down and I just let him eat them. On another note, the waitresses stand around and don’t come to check on you often. Oh, hubby wanted me to add that she took his unfinished beer when she came to clean up our table. Lol Never again.

Mariscos Espinoza Highland – Menu with Prices – 25755 E Baseline St, San Bernardino

This is best Mariscos place in town. I had the mixed cocktail, mixed fried sea food and the grilled Pollock. Coworkers had ceviche tostada and shrimps tacos. Generous portion, and fast service. Laura was our server and she was great. Def coming back. Shrimp ceviche is . especially if u could order it by pound even better . I haven’t tried more items but always smells n looks good. I love coming here the atmosphere it’s so relax and they always have good music playing. Their Mariscos are delicious and the waitress are so friendly love their micheladas and margaritas

Mariscos El Tiburon – Menu with Prices – 2006 W 5th St, Santa Ana

Before Food Trucks were popular, El Tiburon was blazing a trail. This is the original Mariscos Truck in all of Orange County, California. They’ve been around at least 25 years. Santa Ana has the best seafood to offer. Correction: “Mariscos!” The seafood cocktail (shrimp, crab, & octopus) is the anchor food I was introduced to, and brings me back, year after year. It’s prepared perfectly but sometimes I add some ketchup – it’s my thing – and always add some Tapatio. Another staple, inexpensive, and powerhouse delicious Bomb S is the Ceviche Tostadas. The shrimp ones are good but if you like fish, you can’t beat the “Fish Ceviche Tostadas.” You’re Welcome. A seafood palette grows, explores, and can appreciate different flavors. You can’t go wrong with anything they serve. Like other post, El Jefe Tacos kill. A new addition to the menu – last few years – and my wife’s favorite. The fact is we really don’t order hot food at the this spot but when we do – its los El Jefe Taco’s. You’ve read this far, here is the payoff: Get the oysters. Add lime, a splash of tapatio, and a pinch of salt. I guess I’m a Yelp’r now.

Lonchera Mariscos El Gordo – Menu with Prices – 370 E St Ste B, Chula Vista

I was a bit weary trying out this place as it only had 1 review. It was the only one opened at 7pm on a Sunday in the area so I decided to go for it and fulfill my craving. I don’t regret my decision one bit. Shrimp cocktail – amazing taste! I would have to say this is one of the better ones I’ve had from a mariscos truck. Filled to the very brim. 7 mares soup – basically still boiling by the time you get home! Good seafood selection and they definitely don’t hold back in the amount they give. Shrimp chipotle taco – simple & exactly as is. Shrimp and chipotle. Very flavorful. They have good deals throughout the week too. Monday – 2 tostadas de ceviche for $4.50 + 2 medium cocktails for $16. Tuesday – 89 cent fish tacos Wednesday – gobernador, enchilado de Cameron & marlin tacos 2 for $6. Thursday – same deal as Wednesday + medium cocktails 2 for $16 & $2 shrimp taco. Family Sunday – $2 Shrimp tacos & ceviche de pescado 2 for $4.50. Safe to say, I’ll be back in no time.

New York Chicken And Grill – Menu with Prices – 3203 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Richmond

If zero was an option I’d put it. My 10yr old got a fried fish meal while eating it he said what’s this. and on every piece of fish inside was a thick piece of paper with words. whatever they wrap the fish or set it on they fried everything with that paper on it. I know damn well somebody saw that paper on the fish when dipping it in batter.not one but all. Disgusting and I wish I had time that day to take a picture to post here and take it back. When you dont take pride in your business you’re going to keep having the same lack of business so changing the name of this establishment isnt fixing the problem

Ensenada’s Surf N Turf Grill – Menu with Prices – 2931 Nutwood Ave, Fullerton

We recently moved from Bellflower, and we used to always go to Taco Nazo, which is well known for their fish tacos. Now that live in Anaheim, we were looking for a fish taco place that would be comparable to our old spot. Baja California definitely is on par with them! We ordered a grilled fish taco combo, shrimp ceviche tostada, and three more fish tacos on the side. It came out to a little over $20 for everything. Let me tell you, their shrimp ceviche was AMAZING. I work next to a market that has a specialty ceviche bar, but Baja California’s ceviche was way better, and cheaper too. It comes with two tostadas and a good amount of ceviche, topped with avocado. I’d come back just for that! They have their ceviche making station right next to the cashier so you can see them make it. It seemed like every single person ordered ceviche, lol. The grilled fish tacos were delicious as well. The fish was a good size, not too small. I always end up taking off one tortilla since it comes with two just because I feel it’s too much, but that’s just personal preference. The rice and beans were alright, nothing too special. I really like how they have a station where you can get your own lime and chiles. The only downside is we’re used to them being served freshly grilled and warm, and these were cold, but they still tasted good. Perfect accompaniment to the tacos. Their food is reasonably priced ($8-$9 for a 2 taco combo). They had a lot of seating and the tv was showing the football game, which was a plus. We will definitely be back, gotta try the fried fish tacos next time!

Mariscos Alex – Menu with Prices – 4269 Fairmount Ave, San Diego

I’ve tired seafood at numerous taco shops and 4-5 star restaurants but no where seems to beat the ceviche here! I come here at least a couple times out of the week on my lunch break. The prices are extremely reasonable, for the quality of the food. Honesty can’t be beat. If you’re on a time crunch call ahead to place a to-go order as the line can get pretty long. They only accept cash so make sure you have some cash on you before going. The staff is super sweet and makes sure to give you quality food every time. They usually will give you a free soup to sip on while you wait for your order. If you’re looking for quality fresh seafood and extremely reasonable pricing you must try Mariscos Alex. My go-to order is always shrimp ceviche with a fish taco. Or their massive fish burrito (its delicious).

Sayulita Taco Fish – Menu with Prices – 416 Shiloh Dr a5, Laredo

This place was pretty solid. Amazing service and will warn no English menu but they’ll explain it to you in English. Aguachile was amazing and spicy but in a great way. Much like name it’s like a ceviche with shrimp and chilies, lemon and red onion–amazing! Shrimp was fresh. Ceviche pretty decently priced and solid. I wasn’t won over on Baja fried taco but I ate it and the cole slaw topped on it made it great. But without it the filets themselves a bit on oily and greasy side but again way better than everything in town by a long shot. I’d say Mariscana has best ceviche in town but this is a close second. I’ll be back a lot. I hope the town makes this place survive as somebody who’s eaten all around the country this is great good and a small business that cares. Try this place out! Hours not greatest 11-4 Tuesday to Saturday and Sunday 12-4 but hey if you can get lunch here it’s amazing!!

Dragon Express / Pho Vietnam Express – Menu with Prices – 678 E St, Chula Vista

I was looking for pho in the area and came across this place. The reviews all seem so great so I decided to give it a try. All everyone sayd about this place is that its in a run down ghetto place. Thats definitely not the case. I ordered orange chicken, shrimp fried rice, y eggrolls, and large pho. My total came out to $35 a bit more than what i usually pay at my regular pho place. It was good but it wasnt the best like everyone says. Rice kinda tasted like it had been cooked since the morning and just sitting under heat. Orange chicken was ehh. The egg rolls where good. The pho was a big portion but it wasnt all that tasty it was missing lots of flavor. I was extremely disappointed since I was sick and pho was the only thing I was craving. I dont think i will be giving this place a second chance. I’ll most likely stick to my original pho place even if its a bit further.

Fahrenheit Pizza & Brewhouse Menu with Prices 17 Lee St S, Asheville

Ok folks. Our first try here. The typical – I read so so many great posts I just had to come. So we did. Small establishment neat and clean . Staff was attentive and kind. Now let’s get to the action. You order at counter then take a seat. My pics explain the pies and calzone. My calzone was just ok. I guess I’m a spoiled long islander but growing up in NY the pizza mecca. I just expected a crust to be lighter more airy and yet still a bite. Very scarse ricotta. Mozzarella was aplenty. ( dont think its poll-o ) not much sausage or mushrooms. I so wanted it to be killer. I really did. With that said I would order a pie next time. My wife had the 16″vodka. She said it was ok so with that I took it she wasnt overwhelmed. My daughters half pepperoni I’m sorry to say was severly undercooked mostly bottom center of hers she stated sauce was to sweet. She prefers we stick with standard pizza. My son had the other half of that 16″ his was bbq chicken . He said the cheese was to thick and very minimal chicken. I also tried each of the different pies. I really wasnt overly impressed. We will try it again as I feel ALMOST everyone deserves a second chance. With soda drinks it was 57 dollars and some change. Standard n favillas are tough to beat. But no one in Asheville has yet to produce a true NY pie. It’s a combination of dough, sauce, proper cheese spices. And most of all the fold. A fold without “the drip” isnt pizza folks. If your from NY you know what I mean

Mariscos El Güero – Menu with Prices – 1550 W 6th St #108, Corona

Exactly what I’ve been looking for and craving! Authentic Mexican restaurant with delicious ceviches! They have a large variety of ceviches to choose from and they are all wonderful tasting. I tried a couple but my favorite one has got to be the El Guero! This one has a variety of different seafoods including shrimp, scallop, octopus, and abalone. It has the perfect blend of seafoods with lime flavoring. I also tried the ceviche boat which allows you to choose your ceviche. This includes fish, crab and/or shrimp. The ceviche boat is really pretty but l didn’t enjoy it as much as the El Guero. I found the ceviche boat to be a little bit more lacking in flavors and a bit too spicy for me (Note though that I am more sensitive to spicy). Lastly, I ordered the Caldo Mixto which is great! This is a hot, cooked dish. It’s a seafood soup with a huge variety of seafoods like mussels, clams, abalone, fish, shrimp and octopus! A lot! So it’s definitely a great dish for sharing! If it’s you’re first time here with a group of friends or family, definitely consider sharing family style. Order a variety of different ceviche flavors and share! That way you get to try different flavors and find out which ones you like the most. This restaurant is on the smaller side so it can fill up fast. Be prepared for a little bit of a wait if you dine in during peak hours. The waitstaff here is super friendly and attentive! This place is a gem and I’ll definitely be back!

Mi Lindo Ecuador Restaurant & Fish Market – Menu with Prices – 182 Bloomfield Ave, Newark

This restaurant is good for all ecuadorian seafood related dishes. Many dishes from the coast of Ecuador you can find here and what I like about this place is that they’re the ones that have the freshest seafood, since they have a busy seafood market and store next door, they always have the freshest for their dishes. No other ecuadorian restaurant makes the authentic shrimp ceviche like they do here. I love they dishes in this order: #1 Sopa de camarones (shrimp soup) #2 ceviche de camarones (shrimp ceviche) #3 pescado frito (fried fish) The only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is because the ambiance is not the best
