We were looking for a good burger spot and this place seemed to have a few options so we gave it a try. The place is huge, but was pretty empty. We opted to sit at the bar for faster service, but the overall vibe of the place is super laid back, not sure if it’s different at night. We both got the Mad Mad burger. It was pretty solid, no complaints there (took a while to get it and was starving, so I don’t have a pic for ya). I ordered mine without cheese and it came with it. Luckily I scrapped it off and all was well bc we didn’t have time to wait on a new one. I paid the $2 upgrade and got Scooby Snacks, which are potato wedges. Not sure what’s with the fancy name, but they aren’t fancy. Buffalo Wild Wings has better wedges and there isn’t an up charge for them. Apparently they come with a tzatziki sauce with a funny name. When I asked what it came with she told me the name and then rambled off the ingredients which included ranch ketchup and she said a few other things. I thought she picked up that I was in on the fancy sauce and was offering other options so I said ranch. When we got our bill there was a .50 charge for ranch. Not cool. I wouldn’t have said ranch if I didn’t think she was offering it to me. I also tried a taste of the Raspberry Wheat since the reviews were good. I’m glad I didn’t buy a full glass. The first taste is raspberry the rest tasted like bud light. Overall the burger was solid, service was ok, but we won’t venture back for a second chance.

Buffalo Tottss – Menu with Prices – 3457 Old Hwy 77 #100, Brownsville

The food is great, don’t let the 3 stars fool you. The reason for the 3 stars is because i’ve come here since they first opened up about half a year ago and little by little they’ve gotten a bit greedier with prices. They used to include ranch on their salads and never charge for buffalo sauce if there wasn’t enough, now they charge you for sauces. Although the ranch is included in the salads, they don’t include it on Friday’s anymore. I’ve been charged for a ranch on fridays by certain employees & others have told me it’s included in the salad. The price isn’t a problem, but the salad is NOT really half off on Friday’s if you have to pay for the ranch & the sauce, if there isn’t enough sauce. It’s false advertising when the greens are half off but not the chicken. When the company first started the half off price included the chicken & came with the ranch and they always made it right by the sauces. The only thing that has me coming back is that there chicken is always well cooked and juicy. But the greediness is slowly driving me away. I no longer recommend this place to my friends and coworkers because of the all the exclusions on their special days.

Burger Lounge – Menu with Prices – 213 Arizona Ave, Santa Monica

I’ve lived in Santa Monica for over 10 years and always passed by burger lounge but never stopped to eat. So glad I did today! My experience here from when I walked in, placed my order, sat down on their nicely shaded patio to eating their delicious “original” burger was better than the experience I’ve had at some sit-down-and-order restaurants. Whoever trained their staff at this location deserves 5 stars. Very friendly and attentive group. As for the food, my goodness! The “original” grass-fed burger just melted in my mouth and was so flavorful, the french fries are tasty and cooked crisp to perfection. Their crispy onion rings, although deliciously seasoned, could have been made with a thicker sliced onion, but still great. The housemade organic sauces (ranch, bbq and ketchup) makes me want to never eat regular store-bought brands ever again. The ranch is creamy and I taste a hint of dill (I think) … whatever it is, it’s delicious! Apologies for my half-eaten burger pic but I couldn’t resist! I hope this review helps and brings you to this location ?

Cheesecakes & More – Menu with Prices – 2710 Centenary Blvd, Shreveport

Had a great Tuna Salad salad today! Really enjoyed it with raspberry vinaigrette. Contained tomato wedges, hard boiled egg wedges, and a large scoop of tuna salad on the proverbial bed of lettuce!

Sett Recreation and Sett Pub – Menu with Prices – 1308 W Dayton St room 105, Madison

The Sett is not a five-star, super amazing dining experience, but it provides hot food, plenty of seating, and really nice student employees. The fries are so greasy, but they’re so good. Most of the food is fried, and now that I think about it, I’ve never seen anyone eating one of their 2 or 3 salad menu items offered. For “vegetarian options,” you’re definitely limited; it’s either a salad, fries and cheese curds, or a black bean burger that surely came frozen. I’m a huge fan of sauces, and not only that, I’m a huge fan of dipping my food IN those sauces. I avoid putting the said sauces on my veggie burger or whatever it is so that I can dip my food in the sauces. Anyways, the Sett has a “get-your-own sauces bar” with barbecue, ketchup, yellow mustard, honey mustard, and RANCH. Sometimes they run out of ranch because it’s delicious, but if you let them know they’ll replace it before you’re done eating your side of fries. The place can be really loud when they’re playing something on TV, a concert is going on, or it’s trivia night. The line can also be really long at popular times, but it moves fairly quickly. Come eat outside in the summertime and expect to feel: a little bloated and a lot of contentment.

Wolfies Pub – Menu with Prices – 274 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh

As an appetizer, we ordered the buffalo chicken dip, which came with warm pitas. The dip itself was very good. However, the flavor of the dip was overwhelmed by the mountain of bleu cheese, which topped the dip. I like bleu cheese, but they use way too much in this dish and it ends up being all that you can taste. It is unfortunate because the dip without the bleu cheese had a great flavor. For my meal, I went with the bison burger, which was topped with caramelized onions and a garlic aioli. The meat itself had a great flavor, and was cooked as requested. However, the construction of the burger, as well as the bun made it pretty average. Lettuce and tomato were placed under the burger patty. This, along with the other wet ingredients caused the burger to get sloppy. The burger needed some type of topping to provide some friction and prevent all of the sliding that occurred when trying to eat it. In addition, the bun they used seemed cheap. Not only did it taste average, but it fell apart and did not hold up to the wet ingredients and juicy patty. The burger would have been so much better had it been on brioche and either done without the lettuce and tomato, or if they were placed on top. The fries that came with the burger were pretty good, and the homemade ranch was great. My one friend ordered the “Pub Hot Chicken”. Hot chicken, especially with its recent popularity, has come to be known as the type of chicken they serve in Nashville. I was expecting this sandwich to have at least some type of the sweet and spicy sauce, which is traditionally what is being referred to when an item it labeled as “hot chicken”. Instead, the sandwich was nothing more than a fried chicken sandwich, which was overcooked, and topped with a drop or two of chipotle mayo. Overall, the place has some promise, but needs to make some changes to its menu and serving practices.

Doner Burger – Menu with Prices – 321 E Alameda Ave p, Burbank

3.5 Fastfood Persian/Iranian doner, kabobs, and burgers! Just North of Ikea in Burbank! I got a Mixed Doner (both chicken and beef) for a somewhat pricey $8.80 w/tax. Quick Tips: -Located in the same plaza (that has limited parking) as Big Mamas and Papas Pizzeria. Parking in Burbank really isn’t difficult though. -Two 2tops outside. Ample, hip seating inside. A mix of high tops for small groups. -No pets, No restroom -Great for casual pick up -ranch, ketchup, and I believe both Aleppo pepper and sumac are all available -Other meats include grilled chicken, lule kabob, German hotdog, falafel, beef tongue, and bandari (Iranian sausage) Taste 3.5/5 It surprised me that it was more like Fast Food (which is not an insult). Doner was super tender. iceberg lettuce and raw tomato are also inside. Wrap was crisp on the outside and chewy inside. Ketchup and ranch were not expected, I should have asked for hot-sauce and/or a side of hummus. Price 3.5/5 An average-sized burrito. Didn’t last two meals, but filling Service 4/5 Good, nothing memorable.

Corporate Deli Menu with Prices 600 108th Ave NE Suite 10, Bellevue

I got the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki to go for lunch today. It was actually quite nice. The chicken is moist and tender with a crisp sear on the outside and is packed with flavor. It’s one of the few places where the “spicy” was actually spicy(I’m Indian and I love my spice). The portions are huge with generous amounts of chicken and a massive mound of rice. I wish the rice was seasoned because the thick spicy sauce doesn’t mix in quite evenly. I added some soy sauce to the rice just for seasoning. It also comes with a simple side salad and you can pick between ranch and Italian dressing. Over all a super quick value for money meal. Nothing fancy, just plain solid grub.

Frosty Queen – Menu with Prices – 7800 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento

So I was hoping that this place would be really good since it took over the old Burger King location. My goddaughter was with me so I decided to get her some dessert before taking her home . There were about two cars in front of me in the drive thru when I gave my order. They were there for a while. I was hoping it wouldn’t take long since it was only two cars. I was hungry so I decided to buy something to eat while I got her dessert from here as well. I really couldn’t decide – some items looked good, others didn’t. I don’t really eat beef burgers, pastrami, etc so I decided on the taquito dinner. Placing my order was like pulling teeth. I don’t know if the girl was helping somebody else on the inside while she was taking the order, but it took a few times to get it placed correctly and to answer my questions. The two cars were still in front of me. I waited about ten minutes. I pulled up and they handed me the strawberry fruit mix. The lid didn’t fit the cup, so the girl warned me of that. Of course my goddaughter still got ice cream all over the back seat because it started melting and the ice cream started overflowing out of the top since it was filled so high…smh. She handed me my meal after about 3 minutes. I opened it to make sure everything was included. All I saw was one packet of ketchup. I figured it was for the French Fries. I asked the girl if they had salsa for the Taquitos. She looked at me in a daze. She offered ranch dressing or ketchup. I said “For Taquitos???”…lol. She just kept looking at me and said well we don’t have specific sauces. I said ok thank you. Then she offered me ranch again. I told her no that sounds gross but thank you anyway. I didn’t like the Taquitos, I was thinking they would be chicken. The fries were salty, so I only ate a few of those. I ate the inside of the toasted bread since it was softer. The salad didn’t look appealing so I didn’t eat it. The dinner was a waste of money. I probably should have went with my gut and ordered a chicken salad. I don’t think this is the spot for me. I can’t eat ice cream, so I probably won’t be back unless I do try a salad.

Ford’s Garage Kissimmee – Menu with Prices – 3210 Margaritaville Blvd, Kissimmee

I had an excellent meal here. It was National Cheeseburger day and that sounded good. I had previously been to a Ford’s Garage in Tampa area and had a great burger. I brought my parents along. We had a great server named Kevin, he was attentive and always made sure we were taken care of. I started with a Pumpkinhead beer. They do it right by putting a rim of cinnamon sugar on the glass. It’s the little things. We started off with the GIANT FUNNEL TOWER OF JUMBO PISTON ONION RINGS. They were crispy on the outside and the onion on the inside was firm not mushy. They had a nice flavor that was not too sweet like some onion rings. They were also very hot and were not sitting around. I like how they are served on an oil funnel. I tried there new seasonal burger, it was an Australian Wagyu Beef Spicy burger. I subbed out the standard bun for a pretzel bun. This burger was awesome. The Wagyu beef does make a difference. It has more flavor and is tender. The burger was topped with fried jalapeños, a spicy sauce and Pepper-jack cheese. This was very filling and probably one of the best burgers I have had recently. They do not do regular fries. They serve Potato wedges and they are seasoned nicely and go well with the chipotle ketchup that is served with the onion rings. My mom had a Chop Shop Salad with Salmon. This salad is huge and they can swap the lettuce mix for romaine. The salmon that is added on is a 6 oz fillet. My mom ate half and took half home for lunch the next day. My dad had a Mushroom Swiss burger that was perfect. Overall a great meal and well done. I look forward to coming back again soon.

Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery Lexington, KY – Menu with Prices – 1030 S Broadway #1, Lexington

I’ll start off by saying that I came here during Lexington Burger Week. Although I didn’t love the featured burger, nothing else that I had was bad. Everything (except that darn burger) was phenomenal. Yes, the waitresses were dressed in kilts and bras and none are ugly. It’s summer. I see some people wearing less clothing in other public places. Don’t be mad! They actually do pub food better than Hooter’s and no one has ever hated on Hooters’ wings. They have two Happy Hour sessions. I was there at some point between the early Happy Hour, 2-6pm. The $5 appetizers can’t be beat anywhere else in Lexington. I thought for sure that they would be small at that price, so I ordered three. Nope. They were far from small. The mozzarella cheese sticks came in an order of eight and included a marinara sauce. I wasn’t fan of the parmesan flakes on the top, so next time I’ll request that to be left off. The loaded tots were literally the best that I’ve ever had. They use beer cheese to load them, in addition to bacon, sour cream, and chives. The Frickles were excellent too, but if you know me, you know that I pickles are my favorite veggie. I had to get my veggies in, you know… pickles and tots. Service was fantastic! Our glasses never got less than half full. Lee, who I think was a manager, even though I noticed him wiping down a table at some point, came around at some point and stopped to chat. Ok, maybe I stopped him to interrogate him about the burger. Sometimes I just can’t help myself. He was a good sport and explained that they are breaded, just for taste and when they are deep fried, the breading falls off. So, it’s not like a chuck wagon burger or a country fried steak. Ok, I can’t knock them there… it just wasn’t my thing. Those appetizers though!!! If you’re going to burger week to try new places, do yourself a favor and order more than just the burger. One more side note… I hate to be charged extra for ranch. $.50 isn’t too bad, but it was a pretty small serving to be charged for. I’m still not mad at ‘hem.

Scott’s Koneys Menu with Prices 2021 3rd Ave S, Birmingham

Finally got a chance to come in for lunch and try Scott’s Koneys. I had been hearing about this place for quite some time now. Think of gus’ hotdogs or sneaky Pete’s but larger. They have a variety of breakfast and lunch options with daily specials. I went with the cheeseburger special which comes with fries and drink. The burger was all the way with pickles onions. Special sauce ketchup and mustard. I added mayo. Burger was very flavorful and juicy. Not a huge burger but very fulfilling. The fries were just basic fries, you can add seasoning salt and cayenne pepper to them to add flavor which is what I did. The only knock I have is one of the staff was cleaning directly in the seating area I was in. Very efficient and took pride in cleaning but maybe wait until guest leave to do so. Otherwise good food. Will try something else next time.

Beefy’s Burgers Tacoma – Menu with Prices – 3018 6th Ave, Tacoma

Well… it’s an improvement to the last restaurant that was here which was Fish Fish Fish. Beefy’s is run by the same owner that ran Fish and what seemed to be a disastrous effort to bring fish and chips in this part of the 6th Ave. neighborhood. While that prior experience left a bad taste in my mouth (literally) I came back with an open mind to give this new restaurant a try. Probably the biggest improvement is the service. There were minor slip ups with my meal here this time as well but nothing like before. For example the cashier seemed to struggle to run my card through, I was asked what my name was for when my order was ready and it was not spelled correctly and I got someone else’s order while I was waiting for my burger but the good thing was that all of them were corrected quickly. As far as the food goes? I’ve had better burgers. That is most definitely certain. The burgers on the menu are broken down by deluxe or regular with about three options a piece. I went with the deluxe cheeseburger that had lettuce, onion and a special sauce. The burger was just fair. The lettuce, onion and the beef could have stood to be a lot fresher and the burger was not very substantial… quite small but on the flip side it was very inexpensive. I also got fries as well which I enjoyed the most out of the whole meal and had a hot ketchup that made it enjoyable. To sum it up I just wasn’t too impressed with what I had here and a person could easily get better burgers in town AND on 6th Ave.
