Horrible, This place used to be the best place to buy boiled seafood and boiled meat, but over the years their quality of seafood and service has declined drastically. For instance they open at a certain time but you still have to wait 30 minutes if not more for the food, or they don’t open when they’re supposed to. Their seafood is not seasoned the same, there’s this sweetness taste, and it just does not taste right for seafood and boiled meat to have a sweet taste, I got it today and it actually made my stomach churn (had to take an alka seltzer, OMG). The crabs were not full at all and actually some of the worst looking crabs I have EVER seen since I’ve been eating crabs. I’m just not feeling this place any longer, I have been giving them the benefit but undoubtfully they have proven that they are really not worthy for me to patronize any longer. Also they have a sign posted, its says “Once you walk out doors with food, you cannot return the food”. My thing is, if you know your food is subpar why even serve it, in my opinion greed is greed. I live in Texas and come back to Baton Rouge for this, naw, I don’t think so.

10/30/16 dishonest crooks told me i was paying $35 a dozen for 3 dozen select boiled crabs!!! imagine $35 a dozen !!!! i thought surely at that price i would get nice crabs, therefore i placed my huge order over the phone. however, every crab was maybe a medium……. if you wana lie about it !!! but…. to lie and say they were select??? illegal i would say!!! all 36 crabs were smalls and they know it !!! does 3″x3″ crabs shell mean jumbo to you ??? i got home for our party to open the bags to find baby crabs!!! so mad!!! claws were removed also !!! can one believe they stole the claws too ??? few of the crabs had two claws but 3 of 4 crabs had only one claw or none!!! ripoffs!!! dont believe them!!! stinky foul smell walking in also. i will be calling the better business bureau next!!!

J&G seafood market Menu with Prices 8580 Greenwell Springs Rd, Baton Rouge

These are the most customer friendly business owners I have ever known. I always support even if it’s just buying boiled shrimp but my Favorite of course is boiled Crawfish!!! They are the best this side of B.R well it doesn’t matter where I am in B.R I’m driving to G&J because I can count on them for consistency in flavor. These snow crabs are Huge and nope they are not King Crabs they are just nice sized and meat filled snow crabs. All the seafood has good flavor, if it’s not closing time and they are running low on something and there is enough time they ask if you are ok with waiting and they will prepare more for you. If you want to boil the seafood yourself this is your place for Live seafood and all the supplies needed to get a good boil going even the onions, corn and potatoes can be purchased. If you are looking for the La seafood products for your Gumbo this is your spot!! I always visit when I’m in Baton Rouge and as long as they are in business I will support because their food is the best and they are the nicest ever!!

King’s Seafood Market & Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 714 E Little Creek Rd, Norfolk

This is my go to spot when I want steamed crabs. I’ve also had the fried shrimp here which are very very good. I love their prices and they are very affordable. Quality of crabs out when every crab spot in the area. I am specifically talking about blue crabs. You can get a dozen of females easy for under $15. I do love their jimmys and enjoy them very much but they rarely have them. This is not a eat and seafood place. Here’s a tip call ahead for going to get your crabs. They can get full pretty fast with my walk in customers. I prefer Wickers for eat in crabs, but Kings Seafood is by far the best for takeout. Crabs are always very clean. Another tip, when you ask for heavy seasoning, they really don’t put it on like you want. I just buy the container of seasoning from them for about $3.

Bradley’s Crab House – Menu with Prices – 300 W Henry St, Savannah

First time i ate there food was hot, fresh, and delicious some of the best seafood i ever had wanted a different taste from the normal seafood houses and Bradley’s gave just that not only was the food well seasoned and tasty but the prices are unbelievably cheap a whole lot cheaper that the other seafood places but today was a little disappointing when i arrived the doors were wide open as usual so i entered but no one was at the counter to take my order like they were the previous time i was there i noticed they had a bell on the counter so i began to ring it but still no one came to take my order i stood forba while thinking maybe their using the restroom or something so I’ll wait a little longer but still no one came as i turned around to leave because i decided to ring the bell a few more times to give whomever was there the benefit of the doubt a gentleman finally came out the side door to assist me i gave him my order and waited the wait wasn’t long so i disregarded the fact that i had stood so long to have my order taken once we got home with our seafood and opened our boxes i noticed that the crabs were dark in certain spots and seemed a little mushie i checked the other box before i let anyone eat anything just to be on tbe safe side and all of them were the same i decided to crack open the eggs to see if they were fresh cause they looked and felt a little funny as well and they were rotten i was do disgusted i threw both plates in the trash immediately sad to say but i won’t to say but i wont be going back.

Jae Seafood by Tommy – Menu with Prices – 403 Philadelphia Pike #1, Wilmington

Went there 2 weeks ago, got 1/2 doz large to try and they were great! Each crab was full, great flavor. Got an bonus crab and was so happy couldn’t wait to return. Even told friends about it. Tonight went for a full dozen, 2 lbs snow crab, a lb of large shrimp, and the seafood salad to try. I was suspicious taking crabs out of the bag, they were light, a few very light and there were 14. I would’ve appreciated the bonus crabs if the rest were ok. Only 2 were ok, none were full as the last time. And they seemed to be reheated. Not cooked fresh. I actually gave up on them after 8 but opened the rest so I could be accurate in this review. 5 of the total were so empty I thought about saving them to bring them back. $40 isn’t a bad price for large but not worth the work to pick at this quality. I know its a tough business. But after spending $92 tonight for something I was so looking forward to, I have to express my extreme disappointment. The shrimp and snow crabs were good but I won’t be back. You can’t make up for old reheated dead crabs by giving me 2 more of the same.

Fresh Stone Crabs – Menu with Prices – 1040 Biscayne Blvd, Miami

For those not aware…The Florida stone crab season starts on October 15th and continues until Mother’s Day in May. This is a delivery service only (no storefront). If you haven’t had Florida Stone Crabs and love seafood….this may push the king crab off its throne as the caviar of crab meat. While staying in MIA, I wanted to have some stone Crabs for a social gathering. I researched online and ran across this business. I called Shelley and he offered to deliver the order free of charge to my location. He had several sizes that particular day but not colossal. However, the jumbo size did not disappoint. Stone Crabs were delightfully sweet and definitely fresh. The mustard sauce complimented the sweet crab meat. I was unable to enjoy my other courses that evening due to how much crab I ate. The crab meat was so delicious that I ate till I could no more (7 jumbo claws). I look forward to ordering overnight delivery service from the Northeast.

The Marketa – Menu with Prices – 180 Temple St, New Haven

I was racially profiled at Marketa and will no longer patronize them. I went in to order a sandwich and an owner asked me if I was paying w/ cash or credit. One of the employees who has known me, turned around, looked at me, and told the owner “She’s OK.” It didn’t register w/ me until later that the owner, seeing a black women, thought that I’d be paying with a food stamp card. Previously, the deli did allow people to pay for prepared sandwiches with their SNAP benefit even though they are not supposed to. I can only think that I was asked because of the color of my skin and had my white male boss ordered a sandwich, he would not have been asked the same question. For this reason, I will no longer go to Marketa which is 2 doors down from my office. And I will be encouraging my colleagues to do the same.

Crabs Down Under Menu with Prices 4918 Hazelwood Ave, Baltimore

I absolutely love this place! I love their crabs and I love their service. I come here consistently throughout the warmer months. I gave a 4 instead of 5 because they are not open all year long like some of the other crab spots in Baltimore, and location/parking. I believe they have a new sign now so you can see it from the street, but you can’t drive by too fast or you will miss it. I used to drive by this place for YEARS and someone told me about them and I didn’t realize they were there. But once you find them, you will not be disappointed. As with most crab spots, its best to call your order in ahead of time, or you will have to sit and wait and it can get hot and steamy in there. I can’t wait until they open for this season! OH! And they always have contests going on that you can win free crabs, who doesn’t love that?!?!

Twin Seafood – Menu with Prices – 720 Church St # 2C, Norfolk

Food is very good, fresh, hot and tasty. You get a lot for your money. The sauce(s) provided with your seafood is excellent. . Try it trust me you will love it. My co-workers are happy with the food as well. There are not too many carry out seafood establishments that appeal to my appetite. Twin Seafood is now my favorite place to go for a good tasty seafood meal on the go. I usually call in ahead with my order(s). I have not tried the steam or fired crabs as of yet.

The Fox Den – Menu with Prices – 6803 Alexandria Pl, Stockton

Have been wanting to go there since they opened up and finally had a chance to get a couple of friends to go there last Friday night. Saw the sign out by the entrance to the parking lot stating they open at 5:00. It was about 10 to 5 but they had the open sign lit up so we get out of the car and walk up there smelling REALLY good BB-Q! We couldn’t wait to try it. Walked in and was kind of rudely told they aren’t serving the public as they had a special function. I can understand that but they should have a sign posted out by the gate so we would have known. Don’t know if we’ll go back since you never know when they’ll be serving the public or not.

Sansone’s Seafood Market – Menu with Prices – 1830 W 7th St, Wilmington

Went to get crabs. Paid $52 00 brought a dozen and a half $35.00 for #1’s. But when I got home my bag had mostly #2’s which are $15.00 per dozen and much smaller. Called the owner to tell him they gave me the number #2 instead of number ones just had a couple of #1″s in the bag. when I got there they proceeded to tell me that they just put them in the pot now you’re charging me for number ones but you just throwing anything in the pot and selling them for number ones which is a higher cost. Then started telling me that the larger ones that I had was the extra large which on the board says that they don’t have any I came over 12 miles to get to the store at least they could have compensated me for something that I had to turn around to take them back they gave me one extra crab. people when you buy stuff from them and you order your the crabs make sure before you leave that they’re giving you the right size if not they will gyp you do not recommend this store to purchase crabs.

Seafoodlicious – Menu with Prices – 4435 Skidaway Rd, Savannah

OMG. Y’all, this place has some BOMB seafood. You have to give this place a try if you’re in the area. Seafoodlicious is a small hole-in-the-wall seafood market offering a variety of fresh seafood that you can purchase raw, boiled, or fried. This place has no seating to dine-in, it’s strictly takeout. But don’t let that keep you from stopping by, the food is well worth it. I’m so disappointed in myself for previously dining in at the tourist traps. Honestly, Seafoodlicious beats those places any day portion-wise, taste-wise, and price-wise. Not to mention I think this is where the locals come to get seafood. I came in an hour before closing, and a lot of people kept coming in to order food. That’s a good sign! When you come here, it helps if you come ready knowing what you want to order. The menu and set-up can be a little overwhelming for newcomers. If you don’t know what to get though, it’s okay. Once you come in you can place an order with any of the employees behind the counter and they’ll take your payment. Everything here is reasonably priced. Low country boils are $8.99 and you can get fried seafood for under $10. A lot of items on the menu are under $10. There’s a variety of seafood on ice presented in a glass case – so you can see the seafood right in front of you and choose what you want. Seafood includes small shrimp ($6.99 per lb), medium shrimp, and jumbo shrimp ($9.99 per lb), blue crab, snow crab, fish fillets (your choice of tilapia, swai, or whiting), catfish, whole fish (I can’t remember all but black sea bass was one of them. They serve very large whole fish as well), oysters, conch, squid, and crabmeat. They also serve cooked items like shrimp salad, crab pie, spicy conch, deviled crab, garlic crab, and fried crab. If you want raw seafood, you can just order what you want behind the glass case as is. If you want fried seafood, there is a selection of fried platters on the far left side of the menu. It comes with fries and your choice of dipping sauce. They use swai for the fried fish platter unless otherwise specified. While the fried seafood is tasty and satisfying, I would not go out of my way here for it. I highly recommend getting their low country boil, especially if you’re a newcomer. It’s such a good deal! The low country boil comes with small shrimp, two blue crabs, potatoes, corn, and 100% beef sausage. If you don’t want sausage they will offer to give you extra potatoes, which is nice. I have no idea what they use for seasoning but I guess it would be something along the lines of Cajun seasoning. Then they add garlic butter to it. They may ask if you want seasoning and garlic butter mixed in or if you’d like both on the side. I highly suggest having it all mixed in, the seafood absorbs the flavor better that way. Another option is to just order whatever you want behind the glass case and ask them to cook it. I think you can only either get it deep fried or boiled (if boiled they will add garlic butter and seasoning). My family of five ended up ordering 4 low country boils, one fried platter of fish and fries, one fried swai fish fillet, and one pound of boiled jumbo shrimp ($9.99 per lb), along with some soft drinks and sauces. It was A LOT of seafood and the grand total was $66 – not bad at all! The fried swai fillet yields two portions of fried fish. It was tasty and not greasy. The boiled jumbo shrimp and the low country boils were DELICIOUS. I think my eyes rolled to the back of my head when I took my first bite. Everything is seasoned so well. The corn is delicious and soaks up all that good seasoning. The beef sausage and potatoes were good too. I was shocked by the generous portions they gave us. They truly filled the container. With the potatoes, sausage, and corn, this makes for a really filling meal. None of us could finish our food. I think each container could easily be shared between two people. As for the sauces, additional sauces are 50 cen
