Where do I start, first of all they don’t get some actual certified installation in the restaurant. How the fudge is it colder inside your restaurant than it is outside, we waited 35 minutes for chips and salsa. Everything is overpriced if you go to the carneceria restaurant down the street on 6th Ave better quality food for much more affordable pricing. Plus you’ll thank me cuz it’s the best mexican food ever. Their huaraches are a joke. Los burritos y los tacos todo Mierda. Esto es comida por los gringos que son pendejos que no saben que es comida mexicana.

El Tapatio Muffler Shop Menu with Prices 805 Montopolis Dr, Austin

this place is great for austin, but as an overall taqueria in the states, theyre missing the burritos. not this baby tex mex crap where you get a mid size burrito, i’m talking about muy grande tortillas. other than that, this place has it down. the meats, the tortillas, the chips, everything. inexpensive and high in quality. highly recommended if you’re tires of the gringos in austin ruining mexican food.

Kahlo’s Mexican Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 5365, 13100 Magnolia Ave ste a, Corona

We recently moved to the area and our family decided to try this little restaurant a few minutes walk from our new house. WOW! Great, authentic comida mexicana right around the corner. Here’s the rundown: I had the Milanesa Torta, and it was big with half Jalapeños inside! Total Chilango/D. F. Very tasty. My wife decided to have the burrito combo with everything. It looked like a small pillow. It was that big. She shared that with my five-year-old and they really enjoyed it. After our meal I almost walked into the kitchen and demanded, “is my mom in here…?!” Yes, it’s THAT good! Can’t wait to come back and try their specials. A+ Khalos

Tacos Fiesta Mexicana – Menu with Prices – 4200 Peralta Blvd, Fremont

OK, first and foremost I’m not ashamed, I’m not scared, nor am I intimidated to order food from a food truck. Such mixed feelings when it comes to food trucks… I get it, I’ve heard many war stories from co-workers about the thin line you walk when ordering food from a food truck. I’ve been told to never eat from a food truck on Mondays because they use the remnants of the weekend’s leftovers, I’ve been told there all just glorified “roach coaches”, yadda yadda yadda blah blah blah and that could all be true, but not at Fiesta Mexicana….I think…..I hope. When it comes to taco trucks, Fiesta Mexicana is legit! I keep it pretty simple and straightforward. I’m not a taco truck connoisseur, nor do I go to multiple locations unless I’m captivated by the scent of a lone taco truck grilling up some carne asada from afar. Usually while I’m washing my car or waiting outside of a local DMV office. For the most part only one, this one, and it’s usually when I’m fresh off work. I come here when I have a specific taste for street style carne asada tacos and to my delight Fiesta Mexicana usually comes through with piping hot well garnished corn tortillas stuffed with carne asada, cilantro, onions and a combination of pickled jalapeños and carrots. A quick lunch fix with hard to beat prices. $1.75 for a taco…Not bad in my opinion. Fiesta Mexicana is a clean, well kept, consistent taco truck that offers tacos, burritos, quesadillas to the local Fremont community. Keep up the good work Fiesta Mexicana for I am a repeat offender. p.s.- CASH ONLY

Los Arcos | Mexican Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 1791 Marlow Rd #6, Santa Rosa

Popular place on the westside of Santa Rosa. Service was attentive. You choose salsas as you arrive at the salsa bar in disposable plastic cups…ugh. These green and red salsas were fine and served with chips. I had the chicken chimichanga and he had a chicken burrito. I actually had guacamole and pico de gallo served with mine, but he had no toppings. He said he loved the way Chipotle does their burritos. The meat is seasoned. That’s why we loved the Mexican place in Ukiah some much. Their burritos were very flavorful. We were spoiled in Colorado with great Mexican food in abundance and burritos there are smothered in green chile sauce with guacamole and sour cream. We’re not fans of pico, too many onions. However, this establishment does serve alcohol and has a variety of veggie and vegan options to choose from on their menu. So that’s good to know. The Los Arcos in Denver metro has very good food. It is a large restaurant with Mariachis. Every Mexican place we’ve been to here is a tiny place, which may fit 50 people. At any rate, we’ll keep trying to find that perfect place in Santa Rosa for Mexican food.

Vegan GreenGO – Menu with Prices – 3613 State St, Santa Barbara

Pssst…over here…Let’s GO discover the especial! I stumbled upon this wonderful place while in Santa Barbara and I’m so happy I did. They have every dish of Mexican food you can think of nachos, burritos, tacos, and more–conscious Mexican food that is. Let’s discover one of the many especials. The restaurant space is small but the food quality makes up for it as it’s delicious and nutritious. I ordered the tacos which comes with three total. To begin, one must choose a carb, meatless protein, and fixings. I ordered the barbacoa (gluten free) which is the jackfruit and they are quite generous on the guacamole servings I had added–see photo. I took a bite and it was amazing! (Ohh, I have a little guac on my mouth lol seriousLY.) The salsa was a very nice touch. Everything was so fresh, vibrant in color and they even have kombucha on tap! I had the pineapple kombucha with a hint of the hemp milk horchata that I enjoyed (fermented anything is good for the gut and building stomach acid). I appreciate that everything is authentic and made from scratch in-house. Friendly vibes. Next time, I look forward to trying the burrito, vegan bowl, or the nachos–I bet those are very especial also! I want to try everything since everything is… 100% COMIDA VEGANA–VAMONOS!! Keep in mind: M-Th & Sun closes at 8:30pm F-Sa closes at 9:30pm “Eat more plants”

Carlitos’ Way Mexican Fresh Food – Menu with Prices – 8908 Elder Creek Rd, Sacramento

I went here to excited because there were a couple reviews that said this place has the best breakfast burritos in town and when I finally started eating it was a huge disappointment. This burrito tasted like it was made for an Irishman who loves bland food – by the way I’m Irish. This burrito was stuffed, but I don’t think the chef every heard of spices because of there sure as hell wasn’t any Mexican spices in any of the burritos contents or any other spices for that matter. Whoever thinks this is the best breakfast burrito doesn’t actually like Mexican food or have a clue what it should taste like. I won’t call it the best burrito in town but the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever eaten are at La Favorita on Florin Rd – they are actually IMO mind-blowingly good especially their carnitas breakfast burrito.

Taqueria La Providencia – Menu with Prices – 206 S Madison Ave, Dallas

This is one of those “hidden places” that need more advertising because the food is so good. The food is by far one of the best home made mexican recipes, Cooked by actual Mexican ladies and you can see them hard at work in the taquerias kitchen. I always come about twice a week to get my “huevos a la mexicana” & it always hits the spot. Coffee is acceptable & in addition the coffee is served with real milk. By the way, They do accept Credit Cards. I have been paying with it many times. If you have any questions just call their number & they do answer.

Taqueria las potras – Menu with Prices – 5908 Prospect Ave, Kansas City

This little Mom and Pop Mexican restaurant just opened last weekend. Drove past their restaurant tonight and decided to stop in to support the local business, as we all know, most places on Prospect don’t make it long, and most are of the fried variety so I was pleasantly surprised to see a new Mexican restaurant here! The owner was very welcoming and happy to be in the neighborhood, she treated me with the menu and informed me that all their tortillas were made in house daily. I decided to try the Huevos A La Mexicana this time around, and was pleasantly surprised that the eggs were not overcooked, and those tortillas were amazing, probably my favorite in town only second to Ninfas. The rice was a bit different, maybe some spices added that I’m not used too, but the beans were nicely seasoned. I will probably be back tomorrow to try their Flautas! Also they have taco Tuesday specials but I forgot to ask how much as they are regularly $2.50. Also they only have authentic street tacos, sorry Yelpers, no hard shells here!

El Paisano Restaurant at the Rise – Menu with Prices – 1000 E Apache Blvd suite 102, Tempe

I got the crane asada fries and a veggie burrito (other burritos) from here and honestly it’s the most mediocre Mexican food I have ever had in Arizona. They don’t do anything interest with their food, has no acquired food taste or have any interesting or yummy ingredients. Everything is basic, the sour cream, the sauces the fries the meats. They add nothing special to their recipe. They barley season their meat. The burritos are 7/10 if you catch them on a good day, but generally this place is not worth the price. If you’re looking for good Mexican food, you’d much rather head next door to taco bell or Filiberto’s. The staff are really nice but the food is just so disappointing ?

Antojitos Mexicanos D F – Menu with Prices – 4100 SW 9th St, Des Moines

There are lots of authentic Mexican spots in Des Moines and this is one of them for sure. The steak was flavorful, as was the chicken. The masa is homemade and soft, not gritty. Every bite was savory and delicious. I got huaraches and the masa was thin and tasty and did not overpower the meat or toppings. I got both hot sauces and beware, the red sauce is HOT. I was guzzling the horchata to get some relief but kept eating because it was so good. My bf’s gordita and burrito were equally delicious and it’s awesome to find a place that serves Mexican corn the way street vendors do in Mexico. Will definitely return but will stick to the mild but flavorful green salsa! A good place for families and there was a steady stream of customers for takeout. The staff was friendly and they are bilingual and willingly explained the menu.

Taco Loco Food Truck – Menu with Prices – 3315 Bragg Blvd, Fayetteville

I finally found a place that has great tasting carne asada burrito and tacos. My tongue is calibrated with Cali/Mex food so I know when a Mexican food is authentic or at least decent tasting. I’ve been to couple of Mexican restaurants around the area trying their burritos and unfortunately most of them were just one-time encounter. Their burritos were not suitable for my taste. Normally, when I crave for burritos, I don’t go for the size, the taste matters the most- tiny or small so size doesn’t really matter. I yelped Mexican burrito nearby and it pointed me this place. I went after 1pm, and the place was not that packed. It’s on Bragg blvd and it’s a food truck, and it gets crazy busy with all these soulja brother and sisters during lunch hour. So, go there after 1pm. The service was fast. Burrito was perfect and huge; it comes with lettuce and a slice of tomato with sour cream on the side. Their tacos taste alright. The price was right. This is going to be my go-to for carne asada burrito. It was so good that one time I ordered one burrito to go. I think, they are not there on weekends. I passed by one time, and the truck wasn’t there. Service was fast. The lady was courteous, man she is very welcoming and greets you with smile on her face. I recommend this place. Now who’s up for burrito hunting? I am down all time every time.
