Finally, Mediterranean food and I don’t have to drive far from Drip. If you don’t know what Lebanese food is, think Greek. I love the music playing outside of the trailer. It had my mother and I tapping to the beat. So you never know what you may get when it comes to Mediterranean restaurants. If you go to the Greek place in Lakeway, you don’t get that much meat and the price is high. Here? This family family doesn’t not stiff you. We asked for chicken with our Greek salad and we pretty much got a kabob of a whole breast with large chunks that could fit in the palm of your hand. Lots of feta, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, and the lettuce is cut perfectly. The flavor? Wonderful. This isn’t just chicken thrown on the grill. They season it perfectly. The shawarma is just as delicious. I wish I had more meat but the flavor was perfect. My son had a wrap and though the bread fell apart, he ate everything inside. The hummus is wonderful too. All entrees we got came with hummus, a small salad, and hummus with flat bread to dip. We will definitely be back. Also, if you have kids, bring things to play with. There’s a field in the back where they can play and there’s a swing too. The owners are very nice people. Nothing could be better.

Main Street Deli – Menu with Prices – 520 Main St A, Garland

Let me start with the wonderful owners and how I ended up in this fine establishment, I was sitting out in the cold waiting for the parade to begin and I suddenly needed to use the restroom. Most places require you to buy something or they’ll say they don’t allow outsiders to use their restroom. I took a chance and walked inside. I was pleasantly greeted. I asked if I could use to Restroom and he said yes without hesitation (Side Note: the restroom and restaurant were very clean!). I was so appreciative and impressed that I told him I would come back with my mom after the parade to get a “sandwich”. I came back and looked at the menu and I saw “Greek Specialties”. Now I’m even more thrilled about finding this place. All I can say is Delicious!! Delicious! Delicious!! I ordered the Mediterranean platter. For ONLY 9.99 you get a mini GYRO pita, Falafel, Greek Salad with Hummus and Pita. The Falafel was extremely flavorful and the Hummus was out of this world. I would highly recommend this location. It’s the most authentic Mediterranean food I’ve had yet and I LOVE Mediterranean!! I will be back. They have a daily deal where you can get soup, salad a drink for only $6.49. If your looking for Home delicious tasty food stop by and let me know in the comments about your experience.

4 Seasons Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 8402 Hudson Ln, Louisville

One day I had a crave for Mediterranean food but didn’t want to go to the same old places, and thought to try something new. So, I yelp up some Mediterranean food and this is place, 4 Seasons Restaurant, was what I found. Initially, I was a bit hesitant because it states Mediterranean/Bulgarian cuisine, and I never had Bulgarian before. That being said, this place is amazing. My girlfriend and I got hummus with pita bread as the appetizer, and I got to say, that was some GOOD hummus and pita bread. The entire I ordered was Bulgarian sausages with rice. I was very satisfied with my overall experience here. Food was amazing and flavorful, and the customer service and environment was great. Just a heads up, the food here from what I saw seems similar to Mediterranean/Greek cuisine. I’m assuming it because of how close Greece is to Bulgaria. So, if you’re a fan of Mediterranean/Greek cuisine or just cuisines within that region, definitely give this place a try. The menu has many options to choose from with your average Mediterranean food prices. I didn’t get to try everything on the menu but will for sure come back again to give them a try.

Kabob House – Menu with Prices – 31093 Temecula Pkwy D1, Temecula

This place is amazing!!! Let me tell you what we got! Chicken kabob sandwich, Greek salad, rice, hummus appetizer, and falafel appetizer. The chicken in the sandwich was perfect. Cooked exactly right with the best flavor. I don’t even know what all was on the sandwich but whatever it was…it was good. The sandwich came with a garlic paste that was to die for. Tons of flavor! The Greek salad was also amazing. Great dressing, again, with a lot of good flavor. You get a giant portion of hummus for $6. If you plan to use it later with veggies or pita that you have at home, you’ll have plenty to last a while. The falafel was some of the best I’ve ever had. Dipped in the garlic paste or hummus or tsaziki ..definitely try it! I stopped by here for take out on a Wednesday night and it wasn’t busy at all (actually shocking seeing how good it is). The girls working in the front were really sweet and helpful. I waited about 10 minutes for freshly prepared food. This place is definitely going into my take out rotation. I’m really impressed!!

Shish Kabobs and Gyros – Menu with Prices – 9619 N Hayden Rd #106, Scottsdale

Stopped in here for a quick dinner and left really impressed! Seems like a Vietnamese family runs this spot with a combination of Mediterranean and Vietnamese food. Ordered the gyro plate with rice and it also came with hummus, pita and a side salad. The gyro meat was perfection, tender and full of flavor. The hummus had a slight kick to it which I love and of course, warm pita bread to go with it. Good food at a reasonable price. Will definitely be back again!

Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe Menu with Prices 227 Prince Ave, Athens

In town on business I found this place by complete luck and wow am I happy I did. The online ordering made it easy and the food was ready and waiting when they said it would be. I tried the hummus with the soft and crispy chips and chock kabobs with Greek salad and new roasted potatoes. Everything is flavorful with a spice profile that crosses the dishes and pairs them really well. I loved that I could customize my salad while ordering and ultimately made a really flavorful and different Greek salad. The hummus was spot on perfect and balanced the meal perfectly. I wish I lived closer but if I am ever back in town I will definitely come again.

Hannah?s kitchen Menu with Prices 4822 NW 2nd Ave, Boca Raton

This place is REALLY GOOD! Food: I picked up chicken shawarma with triple the chicken to hit that high protein level! I skipped the bases of lettuce or rice and went with a plain base of hummus. I grabbed a cucumber pickles, seasoned onions, tomato & cucumber salad, tabbouleh, grilled veggies, jalapenos, and parsley along with some garlic sauce decorated on top. At first bite, I could tell this was going to be a smash hit in my book! The chicken was cooked perfectly and seasoned well! The hummus was delicious, the veggies were absolutely a knockout! I cleared the entire plate in what felt like 5 minutes! Absolutely incredible in every single way, healthy, delicious, perfection! (5 of 5) Service: A sweet lady took my order and captured everything perfectly. You order at the counter and sit down, they bring it all out for you and even offer up some bread! (5 of 5) Price: Sooooooo cheap! Literally $14 for triple my meat and plenty of veggies! The value here can’t be understated as this is good food for such a cheap price! Highly recommend and when I came in there weren’t too many people there! Once everyone figures this place out they will be in for a very happy surprise if you are a fan of Mediterranean!

Cedar Palace – Menu with Prices – 655 W Armitage Ave, Chicago

My wife and I tried this wonderful Mediterranean restaurant for dinner. Everything was perfect. We had the Dolma for an appetizer. This was the best stuffed grape leaves that I have ever had. We both loved it. I had the dinner combination. This was a meat lovers dream. The beef Shawarma and the chicken Shawarma were very tasty, perfect! My wife had the Mediterranean Sautée. She thought it was fabulous, flavorful food. We had the cabbage salad, also very tasty!! We finished dinner off with the baklava, homemade and wonderful. The staff were warm, friendly, professional. The owner and chef visited all of the tables. Silvana clearly loves her to slight her customers with her family recipes. The Cedar Palace is a five star restaurant!!

Zaky Mediterranean Grill – Menu with Prices – 4323 East Mills Cir Suite 102, Ontario

I decided to try this place since my regular go to Mediterranean restaurant was closed. BIG MISTAKE! Like many have said before communication was terrible and the older lady working the line shot me a look that could kill when she realized I had asked for something different than what she had started preparing. I’m not sure how else I could’ve been more clear. I wonder how she would’ve reacted if I gave her that same look while she was handling pita bread and serving it with her BARE HANDS. I asked for a Greek salad with chicken. There was a younger lady who took over who seemed just as frustrated as I was. She apologized by saying “Its been a long day”. I’ve been there so I get it. I got to the car only to realize that there were regular olives on the salad, NOT kalamata olives. Isn’t that one of the staples of a Greek salad!? How could any Mediterranean restaurant try to slip those in their salads and expect their customers not to know the difference? I got my money back and when I explained why I was returning the salad the cashier simply said, “oh..ok” At least explain beforehand that maybe you’re all out and have to substitute…maybe give the customer a chance to make a different selection..needless to say, I won’t be back.

Olive Branch Mediterranean Foods – Menu with Prices – 3992 Ringgold Rd #103, Chattanooga

When I was a young girl, eating out was a treat reserved for special occasions. Chain restaurants were not a novelty or a dime a dozen, so we ceremoniously piled into the station wagon and drove to a family run restaurant where they knew everyone’s name, asked about your relatives and you felt you were eating as a guest in their home. The food was not complicated, but it was always delicious, hearty, made with love and pride. The moment I entered the Olive Branch, I felt the warmth and love of a childhood memory. Truly a family run business, they take time to greet you and get to know you (if you allow). Try the Incredible Greek salad – always fresh, generous and delicious with amazing dressing. If you’re a meat lover, top it with gyro meat and prepare to relish every bite. The Greek lemon chicken with potatoes — oompah! The hummus and tabouli are the stuff of … legendary satiation. And for the ultimate experience, squeeze a Greek pastry into your happy mouth as a last indulgence. Do yourself a culinary favor and visit this very special place.

Panini Kabob Grill – Santa Monica – Menu with Prices – 312 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica

My new fave restaurant! Lately, Mediterranean is my choice so I’ve been going to Crimson a lot. But when I noticed this place, I thought I’d give it a try. I’ve now been here twice in the same week, & I’m eyeing all the other locations! This location has a large outside covered patio, & an even bigger inside seating area. Even with the big groups (at least 10 or more) I’ve seen dining here both times, seating has been readily available – and service has been SUPER warm, friendly, & efficient. The FOOD is SO GOOD. Healthy, fresh, delicious without relying on excess salt or sauces, filled with colorful veggies. I’ve gotten the shish kebab plates and the portions are so big, it’s easily 2, up to 3 (smaller) meals. The chicken shish kebab is juicy !& well seasoned – the salmon is perfectly cooked so it’s not dry. Chunks of charred ripe tomato & bell pepper slices are perfectly cooked. They serve it all off the skewer, so no struggling with your food. The salad I choose is the Mediterranean Greek, which are field greens, cucumber chunks, red onion, cheese crumbles, and Greek olives with a light dressing. But for a couple extra dollars, the Date Salad (ripe strawberries, blackberries, dried cranberries, lightly candied walnuts, gorgonzola cheese crumbles & date chunks on field greens w/a light vinaigrette) is super good too. I’ve had the Falafel Appetizer plate, which was very good – hot & crispy falafel balls, hummus, tsatziki & pita. What that taught me was that their falafel & hummus are good but their tsatziki & pita are OUTSTANDING. The tsatziki has shredded (not diced) cucumber in the yogurt with fresh parsley & mint – which texturally & taste-wise really makes all the difference imo. And! One of my biggest pet peeves is getting that hard, dry, mass-produced flat pita bread that’s cardboardy. Well not here. Their pita is served warm, puffy, & soft, with fresh grill marks. If it’s not fresh baked here, it’s got to be delivered SUPER FRESH. I’ve also had their chicken veggie soup, which is brothy, tomatoey, & flavorful chunky with chicken & veggies. They have shaker jars of sumac on the tables to season your food, and pressed paninis, caprese salad & tiramisu on the menu, as well as breakfast items like avocado toast & eggs. I love that there’s a Mediterranean/Greek/Persian/Israeli/Italian mashup going on here. It all makes sense, & clearly with the busy-ness in the restaurant, I’m not the only one loving it. I could literally eat here every day!!

Zara’s Mediterranean Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 415 Rayford Rd, Spring

My husband and I came here for supper on a recommendation and I am so glad we did. This is my new favorite restaurant. We are adapting a Mediterranean lifestyle and we are on our 7th day and this was a treat. We ordered several dishes so that we could get an overall taste of everything. First was the Trio Hummus Platter (the traditional and roasted red pepper hummus were our favorite, but the basil was just as good). We also got the Mohammarah Dip, which had the perfect spice and flavor. Then we ordered Zara’s Mixed Grill (feeds 2). I can’t even pick which meat was my favorite. The owner subbed the beef shawarma and gave us the lamb instead. That was my husband’s favorite. Mine is a tie between that, the chicken shawarma, and the chicken kabob. Wow, everything was so full of flavor. The rice, I don’t even know where to begin. I’m not a fan of rice at all, but this rice is full of flavor and almost melts in your mouth. I wanted to order a huge bowl of rice to go. We also ordered tabbouleh salad and it was great! We ended the night with a pistachio baklava and a walnut baklava. We both chose the walnut baklava as our favorite, but both were wonderful! This was a 5 star experience with amazing customer service. We enjoyed the hospitality of the owner / sister. I can’t remember her name, but she was the sweetest.

House of Hummus Mediterranean Cafe Menu with Prices 5950 North Point Pkwy #127, Alpharetta

I randomly searched for “mediterranean restaurant” around my office, and this place populated first with the highest rating. I went over for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised by the food. First, the platter portion is really good. I wanted to get full, so I ordered a lentil soup as well without knowing what the portion will be. I received french fries, a little bit of salad, pita bread, rice, and my choice of meat. The chicken shawarma had enough chicken, but the gyro platter had much more meat. Next time, I am going to get gyro for more meat. Chicken shawarma was savory and great and the fries were seasoned fries. They were not some blend fries, and I loved the fact that they were seasoned. The only downside might be the chicken was a little dry. I don’t know if people have tried this before, but when I eat rice at Mediterranean restaurants, eating it with soup is a great combination. So, I mixed rice with my lentil soup, and the combination was amazing here. Separately, the lentil soup was evenly flavored and savory. There are other great side options, and I am kind of excited to try other food at this restaurant. If you are in the area and want some really good and quick Mediterranean food, check out House of Hummus.
