As a regular I see the interaction between boss and staff members quite often. Last time I was in, the female boss (Judy) yelled at an employee to where it was uncomfortable to watch. Now I’m in again and what do I see? The same woman yelling again at an employee. I get it, it’s a business and it needs to run smoothly but there is a difference between constructive criticism and simply being outright disrespectful. As a parent it scares me to think that my childs boss could yell at them in such a way for trying their hardest and doing their best. Also can’t help to notice the turnover rate there. Treat your employees better, and maybe they’d wanna keep working for you.

I usually leave pretty good reviews of establishments but i’ve never encountered an employee to be so rude to me. i didn’t order anything at first because i was doing homework and it wasn’t until i was about to leave when an employee told me that i should not go there establishment unless i order something. i was going to order a pastry to go after i finished. which i did order. It was basically empty and i’ve never been to an establishment where this was allowed or it was a problem. it was a very disrespectful thing to say and i’ve been a costumer before. the disrespectful attitude was not necessary. I will take my business elsewhere, where it’s not a problem that i do my work first and then order something. no apology was said.

Betterday Coffee – Menu with Prices – 905 W Alameda St, Santa Fe

My name is Crystal Nieto. I am Native American born and raised in New Mexico. I’ve been working at the Betterday for over 2 years. Even after all this time I still love my job. But the reason I decided to write today was because of the recent accusations against my boss being racist. My boss is NOT RACIST! If he was I would not be working there. I’ve experienced many jobs where I actually had to deal with racism. At one point I was told not to speak my language to my fellow co-worker who was also Native. The betterday is the first job I’ve ever had that I haven’t had to deal with any type of racism towards me which is why I appreciate this job very much. My boss has always treated me and my beliefs with respect. Not once has it ever crossed my mind that he was racist. I’ve never felt discriminated or shamed for being who I am. So I would deeply appreciate it if everyone would stop accusing my boss and the rest of the staff of racism. Black, brown, or white it doesn’t matter what color you are, you are all welcomed to stop by anytime. Thank you

Empire Bagels – Menu with Prices – 3101 Westchester Ave, The Bronx

Placed a catering order for a school event with Empire Bagels and it was such a hassle to 1. Place an order and 2. Get an invoice from them. It’s a good thing I know Spanish because that was the only way I was able to even place a catering order (just saying if you needed to place a catering order, get someone who speaks Spanish). At first, the phone kept getting passed around from employee to employee, to someone who could understand that I wanted to place a catering order. After I got through to someone, they finally told me to call the next morning, to talk to the boss. I called the next morning and the boss wasn’t there, I was told that catering orders should be placed the day before or 2 days before the event. I understood and agreed to call the following week.

Dr Freeze Inc – Ice Cream Truck, Ice Cream Shop in Lakeland FL – Menu with Prices – 1732 Olive St, Lakeland

Now named ” Subzero Ice Cream ” I wouldn’t suggest working there unless you wanna f*** the owners son in order the keep your job. He hits you up in the middle of the night asking you to come in and “clean” but when you refuse to he gets upset and gives your truck to someone else. He asks to buy drugs off you and when your gonna hangout with him! I refuse to be taking advantage of so I lost my job today. Ice cream is kept in dirty freezers and there are roaches in some of the trucks and they say ” well this is Florida” the drinks sit in dirty coolers with week old water unless you change it yourself because they don’t wanna spend money on it. I had to spray my truck everyday in order to keep the bugs out because they don’t wanna keep up on them. If you wanna buy ice cream for your kids I suggest you don’t do it here unless you want people without back ground checks with charges on them being around your children , people piss in cups on the truck because they don’t wanna go stop somewhere to go because they’ll lose money ahah this place is a joke. Don’t waste your time here the owners son names is Brandon Morris

Studio M Bar & Lounge – Menu with Prices – 36-41 Main St, Flushing

The place is beautiful. The food is great. The management, however, is a bit paranoid. The one boss will yell at customers if they dont tip. They have a beautiful rooftop patio but, they freak out if there are too many people out there or if they think people are being too loud and they will randomly lock off the patio.

Milkcraft New Haven – Menu with Prices – 280 Crown St suite 100, New Haven

Most of the reviews I’ve read have been incredibly unfair. I love this place. I always get either the s’mores bubblecone or the “best vanilla ever” bubblecone – and let me tell you, as a weirdo who prefers vanilla over other ice cream flavors – it really is. The nice addition of sea salt really coaxes out the flavor in a way I’ve never experienced before. And the bubblecones are always fresh – sometimes hot/warm from just coming out of the mold, sometimes cold – but that never impacts the flavor or texture of the cone. They are never stale from my experiences. I actually prefer them warm / cold simply because the hot ones melt the ice cream and have made a mess in the past. Now are they perfect? Nah. They’re just getting up and running and working out some kinks in this location – which is understandable and I’m sure there will be turnover among the employee as they’re mostly young college kids with a temporary job it seems. My gripes? Well, the fun one is that they don’t have any kind of “cookie dough” ice cream yet, which given their accomplishments with their other flavors I really wanna see how they would make that awesome. A serious gripe – and this is more for the Fairfield location that I’ve noticed, but the music and atmosphere is ungodly loud. I’ll sit while I wait for my fresh ice cream to be made and deal with it, but it doesn’t provide a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a great treat with my lady / friends. All in all, however – the quality of the ice cream is light years above anything else I’ve ever had. I’ve seen other reviews praise Arethusa Farm Dairy and to be honest, their vanilla was a giant disappointment to me. Team Milkcraft till I die, son!

Fort Wayne Truck Plaza – Menu with Prices – 3037 Goshen Rd, Fort Wayne

I won’t ever go back in JoJo’s convenience store ever again I didn’t know that it wasn’t pilot I got a coffee and tried to use my reward points I didn’t have any cash on me the lady working was very rude and told me they don’t accept point I told her I didn’t have any cash and she told me I had to go dump my coffee out I understand they can’t give handouts nor was I looking for one but she was very very rude when she told me to dump it I just can’t believe she acts that way and still has a job I so want to talk to the big boss and I am going to call them today employee acts like she is pissed off at the world and doesn’t need to be working around people if that’s the way she’s going to be that’s the worst service I have ever got and I was in the Army for 18 years and was never treated this bad wow I don’t know how she still has a job

Duck Donuts – Menu with Prices – 1223 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Fredericksburg

I love Duck Donuts, I have visited them in PA, NC, SC, others in VA and the one in Fredericksburg was so disappointing that after waiting for more than 15 minutes we had to get our money back and leave. It was a Sunday morning and only two employees were working . These two ladies were working their hardest and were very nice but they were set up to fail. Only one was making donuts but she was also the one in charge of taking orders and money and preparing the cold coffee and latte orders . The other employee couldnâ??t help because she had to keep going in back to prepare breakfast sandwiches . People continued to roll in as it was 9 am on a weekend but no donuts were being prepared because the girl couldnâ??t step away from the register from taking orders . These two ladies were friendly and nice but were left by management to a job that was impossible for them to do efficiently. I have been in many Duck Donut stores and seen them with lines that were wrapped around the outside and I have never seen one that was this disorganized and understaffed. Management , these girls needed help , such a disappointment.

Seattle’s Best Teriyaki – Menu with Prices – 424 East Hospitality Lane # B1 #, B1, San Bernardino

This review is based on customer service skills! The young asian girl who is normally working the front who wears glasses and normally wears a red apron had the audacity to argue with myself and my coworker on a phone order. As the employee I don’t care if your family owns the damn place, you’re suppose to be considerate of the customers order, and not argue back about an order we placed and specifically requested on the order but she continued to argue n say that it was never said! The food, was decent, Not the best recommendation anyway but the customer service was HORRIBLE!! Go take some classes little shit and show some respect to your customers! Rude! I will make this known to ALL the company’s here that this is the worst place to go if they expect to be treated with kindness n respect! Once I get her name I’ll make it known for my fellow customers so they know who this unprofessional shit is.. I’m going to make a review on every single site in regards to this disrespectful employee!

Education Station Cafe – Menu with Prices – Eugene

I can not say enough wonderful things about the Education Station. I have three children – 1 in college, 1 about to go to college and 1 in high school We started with infant care and stayed for summer and school vacation camp. Why am I writing a review now? Because when we became an Education Station family in 1998 – (yes 20 years ago!)- there were no reviews, no ratings, no on-line photos. Just a feeling that these people genuinely cared about our family. We had to enroll on instinct – but I am here to attest two decades later that those babies/toddlers/pre-school kids were more than prepared for elementary school and have turned into incredible adults – smart, curious, funny, and kind. Traits that were nurtured and encouraged by their caretakers at the Education Station. We are so grateful for all they taught us (special shout out to Donna for getting all 3 out of diapers, and drinking from a cup!) and creating a second home for them. While choosing child care is one if the hardest things a working parent can do – rest assured that the Education Station isn’t just interested in providing a safe place for you child but an environment where they will thrive and create wonderful childhood memories.

Customer service is really lacking. Chicken Parmesan was bad meat not breaded. Use that cheap frozen chicken crap that isn’t real meat. I have never ever been to a place like this and I will never ever come back ever again . My friend works here and she had already clocked out and not working when she called me to come out and hang out with her . Our table was the biggest table . Anyways I went into the restroom with my gf and we were in there talking , peeing and putting on make like every normal girl does in the restroom when all of sudden we heard this loud bang from the door , we opened the door after couple more bangs and it was her boss telling us why we are taking so long . I would understand if there was a long line , but there were none . No girls in line , what so ever . To make story short we walked outside to smoke a cig , he went outside and accused us of smoking crack ! What the heck . I’ve never met this guy , I don’t know him and I told him to check my car my bag etc . I’m a customer and it is very unprofessional for a boss to even say or accused a customer or worker . I found out he got into an argument with his gf therefore he can take it out on his customers and workers ?!?!? I was drinking, yes drinking only and having a good time but he killed my buzz along with whole table . I can always go to another ” Quan nhau” , I do not want to be a customer at a place where the boss is unprofessional . Just because you did time doesn’t mean you can blatantly try to check other people for no apparent reason . You’re not institutionalize me anymore . I’m very sorry but I had to review this place for their unprofessional boss. I love all the workers . This boss is the one that’s bald , a lil short and dark complexion . Cause there’s three owners . One star cause I had to give a star .
